Fantastic experience: I have a long history of severe dental anxiety and dental trauma, and I never thought I would be someone who could walk into a dentist’s office without shaking. Norbo Dental specifically Dr. Justin Norbo, Jess at the front desk, and Dina have completely flipped my entire outlook on dentistry and what a patient-care experience can feel like. From the moment I walked in, I have never felt so welcomed, believed, supported, or genuinely cared for in any medical setting .. ever. Jess greets you like family, Dina is calm, gentle and unbelievably compassionate, and Dr. Norbo is patient, thorough, honest, and deeply kind. They never rush you, never make you feel embarrassed, and explain every step with respect and empathy. I’m still in the middle of a few treatments, but I already know that this is my dental home for life. I trust them fully. They have not only taken care of my teeth they have taken care of me. Fantastic experience: This is the only place I will go on Loudoun Co. If I move, they’re going to need to come relocate. Wonderful front staff. Easy billing. hygienists and assistants are skilled and personable. Easy to get into the building. Dr Havalos is the best. I went somewhere years ago and they sold me on tons of procedures, I did not get a second opinion bc I foolishly trusted them, it was thousands of dollars WITH insurance, and they were extremely heavy handed- very rough, more than anyone I’ve ever experienced. After that, I was nervous to go anywhere. I found Norbo via recommendations and I’m so happy. I wish I had gone there because they are conservative. The dentists I saw before made major dental changes that I’ll have to live with for the rest of my life and all for the money. Be careful who you go to. Come to Norbo. You’ll get treatment when you need it and honest care. Clean office. Gentle hands. Willing to take the time to improve your hygiene knowledge.

Fantastic experience: As usual, my experience with Norbo Dental was first rate. Naya, the dental technician, and Dr. Brent, the dentist, were outstanding and provided me with very useful information as well as doing a great job of examining, and cleaning my teeth. Naya was very engaging and went above and beyond in being helpful with recommendations that I should consider to further assist in the care of my teeth. I would highly recommend Norbo Dental to anyone in the Purcellville/Leesburg/Western Loudoun area. I also want to recognize the front desk staff who were extremely friendly as well as very professional and welcoming. I received a phone call the day before the appointment to confirm that I was coming, which I appreciate. Overall, I would have to give Norbo Dental an A+ in all areas! I have been a patient now for eight years. I moved out of Purcellville last year, yet travel the extra distance to see them. I highly recommend Norbo.

Fantastic experience: It is Wonderful to have this dental practice available. Dr. Justin Norbo is consummately skilled, and gentle, generous with his time to explain everything. You are the only patient for your attendant nurse, so you are never left alone. They do everything in house for imaging and diagnostics, making prosthetics and braces and mouth guards on premises. They even provide an insurance program. Bar none, this is the best, most professional, warmest and friendliest dental practice to be found.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first appt at Norbo Dental after having seen the same dental practice for 35 years. My hygienist was Shawnee and she was SO thorough while also being as gentle as possible (I had a lot of build up after 2.5 years since my last cleaning!). Shawni was also just nice to talk to and I felt like a friend was cleaning my teeth! Dr Siegel did my exam and he was personable and bubbly and we chatted JMU football! Very happy to have found our new practice with Norbo!

Fantastic experience: I am a very tough patient I’ve had dental issues for 4 years my teeth are rotting and have to typically replaced be replaced with implants 5 so far got my teeth cleaned by my favorite dental tech Shaunie and she found the 2 bad teeth ..one is very tricky so Dr Norbo is referring me to a dentist who does only Riot canals ..I’ve been his Dad’s patient since 1989 he retired now I am Dr Justin’s problem or challenge that’s why my name is pain ..love you guys ❤️

Fantastic experience: Today was our very first visit to Norbo. My daughter (3yo) also came along and all the dental hygienists made her feel so welcome. They provided her with coloring pages and each time they walked by they engaged with her and made her feel so special. Shawnee was our hygienist and she was so awesome! Negative experience: Used to be best dentist in Loudoun. Four years ago they dropped accepting Delta Dental. Whole atmosphere changed. This was about when Dr Kirk retired. So sad.

Negative experience: This isn't the Norbo Dental of even two years ago. I wish it was -- that office was friendly, helpful, and service oriented. They made and kept appointments, and they didn't send bills for the first time claiming to be 90 days past due. New patients beware. One main event led to us leaving the practice, the second event has led to me writing this review. My children were scheduled for a dental cleaning and six months check up in September of 2024. After the cleaning, the hygienist left for a long time. When she returned, she said no dentist was available to check my children's teeth and that we could just return in six months for a cleaning and see the dentist then. I have never been to a dentist without seeing a dentist. They wanted to charge my insurance for the visit as though my kids had been seen by the dentist. The front desk tried to insist that some appointments are only for cleaning. When they looked up our appointment they saw that we had booked the cleaning and the dentist. Unclear how the schedule got mixed up, but it's a time waster and a bit of a Seinfeld car rental situation when they can't keep a basic dentist appointment. Today I called about a bill I received with no date of service or patient information. What was more, although I'd never seen the bill before, it was in the 90+ day category, which is the last stop before being sent to collections. I called six times just to get a hold of a live person and when I did, she was surly. I asked why the bill said it was in the 90+ day of payment and she said it was because the insurance took long to pay. When I said that seemed predatory because I have never seen the bill before and yet they show it as a step from collections, she said, you keep repeating yourself, I already told you why it looks that way. While I understand why it "looks that way," I can't help thinking this strategy is predatory and misleading.

Negative experience: This place is terrible. They did a filling on me that fell out and it had to be redone at another dentist in Sterling that made the comment the tooth was not prepped correctly. Just took my daughter to get a cleaning at this dentist in Sterling and her 4 fillings that were done at Norbo were also not done correctly and 2 have cavities underneath. One has air underneath. Terrible. What a waste of money, time and risk to our dental health. Never again.

Fantastic experience: OMG! I've been stuck with a horrible DMO for too many years. Terrible experiences with mediocre Dental care. We recently moved to Western Loudoun and there are no dentists on my plan so I need an alternative. I asked around and Norbo Dental was recommended by quite a few people. I only went for a consultation about a lost crown but I can tell you, I haven't felt this good about a Dental office in 20 years! Everyone, from the time I called to get an appointment, to the x-rays, to the hygenist, front desk, to Dr. Brett Siegel, are top notch! Even out of network, the cost that I will pay for the Dental work I need is half of what I would have paid through my DMO. The cost is lower but I feel that the expertise and level of care at this Dental office is far and above anything that I have experienced in NoVa for over 20 years. I'm looking forward to going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Norbo dental! I am super hesitant and dread having to find a new dentist but needed a local one since moving to the area. They came recommended online and I couldn’t have been more pleased. I have a previous dental surgery site that needs special attention and they really made an effort to make sure the tooth was properly looked at and taken care of. The cleaning around it was done thoroughly but more importantly carefully in that sensitive area where previous dental practices have not been so careful and have caused pain. The hygienist was amazing (I apologize I forgot her name), who explained everything they did and went into detail about my dental health. Dr Justin Norbo was great and very personable. I also love that they offer orthodontic care which I did not know before going there. Definitely will make them my primary dental office.

Fantastic experience: I broke a piece of my tooth of on Wednesday evening and called Nordo Dental Thursdays morning. I got it that day and he a crown placed on the tooth. I was in and out is just over 2 hours including the wait time to create the crown. Great people, great place.

Positive experience: Norbo Dental is a great practice. However, one disappointment was their removal from Delta Dental as an in-network provider. Just something to be aware of if you're searching for a dentist in Western Loudoun. That being said: The care offered by dentists & hygienists is excellent. My whole family has been patients here for several years. They will not recommend unnecessary procedures and definitely care about your dental health.

Fantastic experience: I went to Norbo Dental on the referral of a friend. I recently broke a molar cusp and needed a crown. I was scheduled in for treatment quickly and Dr Peter Havelos put me at ease right away. He explained the entire process to me from start to finish and I was surprised to learn the office could restore the damaged tooth in a single day. So it was one hour to prep the tooth, about a 90 minute period to manufacture the crown (during which I stepped out to Christmas shop) and 45 minutes to place the crown. What a GREAT experience. Price was right and I will be back for future dental needs! Support staff also was the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Justin has been my dentist for quite a few years now, and I have complete confidence in his expertise regarding all aspects of my dental care. At 64, I have had many dentists from California to Oregon, Tennessee and now in Northern Virginia. Justin takes the time to converse as a person first, listens to my dental concerns and issues, investigates and then clearly explains my options. I am able to completely relax (and admittedly, doze off during a root canal) knowing that I am in good hands. Having the in-house equipment to perform digital x-rays, 3D full mouth scan and same day crowns makes his practice the logical choice. To be able to come in at 9:00 AM, have all prep work done then return in the afternoon for the new crown to be fitted and secured in place is incredible.

Fantastic experience: I waited for years to find a new dentist because I had trauma from previous experiences. My tooth had been hurting for a long time and I finally had enough! I looked online for a dentist in my area, but the reviews were terrible so, I put it off for a few more months! I finally decided to try again and I searched for a dentist that was farther away. I found Norbo Dental and all of the reviews were great! I waited three more days to get up the courage to call and I am so glad I did! Anna picked up the phone and she is the reason I decided to make an appointment. She was so kind and patient with me. She got me an appointment the very next day. I showed up to a room full of smiling, reassuring faces! I told them I am a sissy and they took great care to make me feel comfortable. The hygienist was very gentle and kind as well. The dentist has a great personality and was also kind and gentle! They never made me feel anxious or rushed. They took their time with me. They diagnosed and fixed my tooth on the spot without any unnecessary treatment options or without having me make another appointment to get it fixed. I was also pretty shocked at having to only pay $90 out of pocket! Really wish I had found Norbo Dental years ago!! My deepest gratitude to the whole team!!

The dental hygienists are professional and thorough. The dentists are personable and highly capable. All of my work here has been excellent, and it has all been necessary! This is not a practice that tries to talk patients into faddish or expensive procedures or treatments. I used to drive 30 minutes to Dr. Kirk Norbo's practice when it was in Falls Church and now drive an hour each way out to Purcellville An update, five years later: Still patronizing this practice, and still a big fan! I would like to add that the fees are fair and that Norbo Dental offers a care plan that encourages preventive care and saves money on procedures. Another update: Still patronizing Norbo Dental even though I am sure we could find a good dentist in Alexandria. This practice is simply worth the 50-minute drive each way! You folks in Purcellville are lucky. Yet another update: Dr. Kirk Norbo has retired! We miss him, but the practice's excellent care continues with the young doctors still around, and we are still driving almost an hour each way to take advantage of it.

Fantastic experience: Professional, courteous, incredibly gentle and excellent dental care. They take the time to listen and patiently explain all the options. They are very respectful of my decisions and never pushy. The office staff is just as wonderful. They always welcome your questions and are very patient and happy to explain billing or procedures or insurance.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic hygienist, very friendly and very gentle. The dentist found a couple of problems and explained everything. They can remove a crown, repair the tooth, make a new crown, and bring me back that same day and fit the new crown permanently. Wow!

Fantastic experience: Today I had a terrific experience with a routine preventative dental visit at Norbo Dental. Naya, my Hygienist was exceptional in checking my gums, cleaning my teeth and updating my records. Dr Brett Siegal, who I met for the first time at Norbo Dental, did my dental exam. He was friendly, curious to know more about me, asked all the right questions, listened attentively, was concise in describing what he observed and articulate his recommendations. (His dental patient demeanor clearly shaped under the tutelage of Dr Kirk Norbo and Dr Justin Norbo.) Having been a 40 year patient of Dr Kirk Norbo, I am extremely comfortable recommending Norbo Dental.

Fantastic experience: As always this practice is phenomenal. Dr. Kirk is so compassionate & down to earth. All of the staff from customer service, the hygienists & dentists are professional & caring. Everything is explained from start to finish & it's been a pain free experience from cleanings to root canals. You want to come to the dentist here everyone is family. They get a 5+ rating from me. Reiterating the same comment above. You cannot top this practice. When the dentist compliments the great job his hygienist does it's heartwarming to be recognized & have the patient share in it. It's a great morale booster. Everyone displays the utmost courtesy they treat each person equally.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Justin Norbo and Megan were so fantastic to work with. I had a complex case removing 2 bridges and replacing them and adding 2 veneers. They went above and beyond every step of the way, and were so kind to me!! I have a bit of anxiety, and they stood with me every step of the way. I cannot say enough good things about the two of them and the entire practice even Dr. Norbo Senior came in to offer an opinion on shading at one point. If you are looking for a true professional, who’s extremely talented with cosmetic dentistry and patient care- look no over further !
