Negative experience: My first going they do a X-ray in my mouth and doctor say I cleaning so a next lady should clean my teeth she tell me she cannot do it now I have to come back at 11 are 1 clock the funnest thing my appointment was at 9 also it was me and my husband have the appointment to see the dentist they clean my husband and donot clean my teeth and tell me I should come Friday to do if you want to waste time you can go here

She is incredibly thorough, gentle, and professional. She takes the time to explain everything she's doing, making the entire process comfortable and informative. My teeth feel **sparkling clean** and polished, and I left the office with the biggest smile. If you are looking for an exceptional cleaning and a hygienist who genuinely cares, you absolutely need to see Kim. Fantastic experience: Relocated from Charleston SC to Waxhaw NC in March 2025, and was very fortunate to meet a former employee of Promenade Center at my dentist's office in Charleston. When she heard I was coming to Waxhaw, she was effusive in her praise of Promenade, and gave me their contact info. And I am so glad she did! The care is absolutely superb. Professionally run office, great / friendly admin & scheduling staff, wonderful Dental Hygienists, and their Dentists are the best! This is the FIRST time I exited a Dental Office and the admin staff said "Nope, you don't owe us anything. Your insurance took care of everything!" I don't have a separate dental insurance plan. These folks were able (and willing!) to check my Medicare benefits, and file for coverage with my Health Plan. I've never seen a Dental Office willing to do that. Great care, and they go above and beyond to work with you on your health plan coverage. And this great combination is creating expansion in their office with additional treatment rooms and office space! Love this practice!!!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is truly amazing across the board, bottom line. They just keep getting better and better all the time. This time I was still a little confused and they got a Uber on them to get me home safe. I really can't say anything else about this dental group / Whole Team Effect! I was in a lot of pain called up explained my situation. They took me right in. I had a bad wisdom tooth. Then after looking at me, we pulled it and now today is the day after and will recover in time ⏲️. All I can say thank God for their fabulous team work.

Fantastic experience: I had an appt with Sweta. She rescheduled twice. Upon arriving today, I was told Sweta had left already. I would not recommend making an appointment with her at all. That being said, Kirsty ended up doing my procedure and I became much happier with her! So, I’m sticking with Kirsty for all procedures that do not require the actual dentist. Kirsty gets 5 stars and Sweta gets 0 for rescheduling twice and still not being present for my rescheduled appointment.

Negative experience: Do NOT GO TO DR. ALINA unless you want to be treated like a second-class patient! I came to Dr. Alina for a simple extraction and implant — one tooth. But instead, I left with two teeth missing. During the extraction, she broke the crown of another tooth next to the one being removed. Just imagine — I came in to lose one tooth, and ended up losing two. I'm only 40, and I cried for days. This was completely avoidable and deeply upsetting. But unfortunately, the worst part wasn’t even the botched procedure. Two weeks later, I returned for a cleaning and a scheduled consultation with Dr. Alina to discuss the treatment plan. After the cleaning, I waited for 40 minutes... but the doctor never showed up. Instead, her assistant handed me a price list — while Dr. Alina was literally sitting chatting with staff, completely ignoring the appointment. No hello, no explanation, no apology. How do you schedule a patient and then just ignore them? The level of unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, and disregard for my time and wellbeing was shocking. I expected care and accountability — instead, I was left humiliated, dismissed, and with more damage than I started with. Very disappointed, and I would strongly warn others to stay away from this Doctor!!!

Fantastic experience: All my visits are exceptional. I drive more than an hour from Shelby to arrive at his office because he is that good. Not only is Dr. Tang passionate about Excellent Dentistry he is a very compassionate person as well. He is surrounded by a very professional staff who are super friendly and knowledgeable My father was a dentist and an adjunct professor at University of Southern California School of Dentistry. I understand what good dentistry is and Dr. Tang practices it. It’s well worth the drive. BTW the office staff is wonderful and friendly as well. It is a very comfortable place to be. Dr. Tang's office is expanding again because there is a demand for quality dental care.

Negative experience: 1. They lost the paperwork I filled in online. 2. They prescribed me the ONE antibiotic I said didn’t work for me. 3. They said they were too busy to call my insurance, so they just put the highest prices on everything. Real prices would take two weeks. If the office is this dis-organized, do I really want to trust them with oral surgery? No, friends. I do not.

Negative experience: They were not helpful enough. Charged us for a 90 dollars of consultation but they eventually said that I was supposed to take out my tooth even though I just wanted to do root canal to my broken tooth. I do know that it is hard to save that tooth but I still do not wanna extract it because i cannot afford an implant. They did not even give a referral.

Fantastic experience: A filling had broken several weeks ago. The practice managed to fit me in for an exam today, December 30, 2024. When I arrived, I was seen promptly. Not only did I receive the exam, but they fixed the entire problem in less than two hours. Outstanding staff, outstanding practice.

Negative experience: I’m giving the Dentist an A+ for the compassion that was shown at my appointment. I’m giving this low rating because after my bottom tooth was pulled I was denied pain medicine. I’ve been in excruciating pain ever since. Tylenol and Advil does not work. Giving me a to knock this pain away for a few days is not a hard ask. Needless to say I won’t be returning to this office. If anyone have a referral to a dentist that doesn’t deny pain meds please let me know. I have a bunch of dental work to be done and I’m not going to be in excruciating pain to get it done. Everyone is not a drug addict. Do better.

Fantastic experience: I first want to say Amazing!!!!!!! I saw Dr Halusic who was very nice and soft spoken. Natalie was a very sweet and calming young lady who took my x-rays and kept me calm while getting shots for a deep cleaning Dr Hirpara , gave me the shots and she was perfect. It was painless. The hygienist, Kim was awesome. She was very gentle and soothing. The office manager, Karen was also great and took the time to get answers to all my questions. Fantastic experience: Staff are courteous, patient and thorough especially Kirstin Martinez (Hygienist), Maria Abreu (Office Mgr) Anjanette Grant (Assistant), Shen (Funance) Their front office staff are welcoming. The two dentists (Dr Tang and Dr Halusic) who took care of my dental needs are exceptional — their hands carefully and lightly held my mouth and made me comfortable while seated on the dental chair.

Fantastic experience: Several year ago; I left my previous dentist after being dissatisfied with their work and I tried out Doctor Tang's practice, and I haven't looked back. I've had 3 crowns, 2 at a different dentist office and one by Doctor Tang. Doctor Tang"s is the only one that does not bother me. And I routinely ask for Kim as my dental hygienist as she does a great job cleaning my teeth and is very thorough. I have been very very happy with both Doctor Tang and Kim. And today I got to meet Kim's assistant, Nathalia, who also seems very caring and capable. I definitely recommend Doctor Tang and Kim.

I had to have a lot of work done and they helped me put an affordable and realistic plan together to give me the smile I want. I’ll definitely stick to coming to Promenade Dentistry.

Negative experience: Incredibly well appointed facility. No concept of how to maintain a calendar. Each room has TVs and all of the equipment that you could imagine. The staff have always been very friendly once you are being worked on, but don't count on your appointment being on time. On one occasion I was sitting in a chair waiting for a cleaning and one dentist saw that I was there and for some reason insisted that I was their patient and removed me from the calendar of the other dentist. So I got to sit and wait for the dentist to finish with someone else rather than who I was scheduled to see. Today I was there 10 minutes early for my appointment, an appointment that they confirmed 4 times via text, so I know they knew the time. 20 minutes after the scheduled start of the cleaning, they let me know they were ready for me. I had already left 5 minutes prior. So if you want all the bells and whistles and don't care about a schedule, these folks are a great fit. Otherwise, use a dentist that actually respects your time.

Fantastic experience: Got referred to this dentist from my primary dentist because of a emergency. I was skeptical at first because I only want my dentist to work on me. The staff was awesome very patient even when my insurance was taking centuries to go through lol. The staff is very courteous and they give clear communication. My emergency extraction went smoothly, finally got this tooth out. I'm definitely relieved. Highly recommend this dentist office, 6 thumbs up!!! Thank you so much you guys are awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience from Maria and the desk crew to the hygienists and dentists. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Tang for close to 10 years now. Always professional, reasonable and honest. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had an issue with one of my teeth and found this office. I’ve had several return visits since then and each time the staff and Dr. Tang were great. All friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. tang is very conscious about making sure it is 100 % right. Also, never a long wait, respectful of our time.

Fantastic experience: Have had a lot of bad experiences with dentist being judgemental of me and not the kindest when I have had hard times where I have not been able to afford dental care but this office was the first to ever make me not feel judged at all and actually spoke to me as a person. Of course we talked about treatment plans but I wasn't made to feel worse about it. They also are very affordable and said they offer payment plans which is amazing! I will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: 4/30/2024 Another great appointment with Kim and Dr. Tang. Without doubt, the best dental practice in the northern hemisphere. They provided great restaurant recommendations too! I can't wait to try out my newly cleaned teeth at those restaurants. I needed an old crown reattached. It was not an emergency to me.p I was called first thing in the a.m. and scheduled an appointment for one hour hence. All the necessary precautions were taken, I called from car upon arrival, Maria met me at door, took my temperature before I stepped inside. That made me feel really good. I brought my own mask and gloves. They'd have provided me with a mask if I had not. Even though my semi-annual checkup was scheduled for later on in June, Maria wisely suggested that I do it before crown was reattached. A great idea as I am very much self sequestering and am avoiding human contact as much as I can. So, I feel really fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Tang and his team, Maria and Heather do a super job and as always, very professional, very thorough. December 14, 2021 Yet another great visit with Heather and Dr. Tang. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Always professional, thorough and caring.
