Fantastic experience: Saving Smiles Dentristy have been an absolute blessing. When moving to a new city and state it’s always hard to find the right dentist office. We tried saving smiles after a recommendation. We are glad we have stayed here. They have been great with my crazy amount of cavities, my husbands cleanings, and my daughter who can be pretty antsy. They’ve never judged but they’ve always made each of our visits positive, and not to be afraid of the dentist. We highly recommend Dr Dr. Johnson and Dr. Ensrude team!

Fantastic experience: I went for my cleaning and checkup today and am very happy with my experience. I think my family was one of the first patients of Dr Johnson. This clinic has been so caring and truly cares about their patients. They still after this many years remember everything about our family. I am so grateful for them. My husband pasted away 5 years ago and they remember and acknowledge his passing with flowers and such a nice personal card. They are extremely professional but care so much individually. I am blessed to have them on my team.

Negative experience: I went in for an appointment today and a deep cleaning wasn't covered by insurance. First off, the receptionists were whispering about this and said the hygienist would discuss (yes I heard that) So as I'm sitting down for the appointment, the hygienist walks in and asks if the receptionist discussed the deep cleaning with me. No they did not. She then shoves a piece of paper in my face some waiver, saying that without this cleaning, there is no therapeutic benefit to doing the cleaning, and if I don't sign it, they won't do the cleaning. I'm not disputing that it may be necessary, but what a terrible way to handle a situation. That all could've been discussed ahead of time in a much different way. There was a complete lack of compassion, empathy, and care and how it was handled and I'm not going back there ever again. I'm also pulling my kids from their practice also.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth on a Monday evening, called Tuesday morning and was able to get an exam and tooth extraction done that day. My regular dentist was not available. I did not feel judged. All staff were very friendly!

Positive experience: I needed to have a broken tooth examined on a whim and Dr. Ensrude was amazing, probably the best dentist I have ever met even with the limited visit I had with her. The dental assistant/ hygienist was also great. Her name was Claire. I have severe dental anxiety and they made this appt not so bad for me. Honestly The staff on the way out at the counter could have been a bit friendlier but I’ll come back!

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency next-day appointment and the staff made it happen. The girls at the desk were so nice, but also informative about my cost vs what my insurance covers. Gretchen was the hygienist who helped Dr Johnson with the procedure. I didn't feel a thing. I've been afraid of the dentist all my life, but Saving Smiles Dentistry is turning that around. I love this Dental Practice!

I’ve had some rough dental experiences in the past in other states but this place is a breath of fresh air. It’s very nice, clean, modern technology, friendly staff. Reception is great, the dental techs are polite and know what they’re doing, and the dentists are kind and make you feel comfortable-I have terrible dental anxiety and this is by far the most comfortable and least judgmental dental clinic I’ve been too.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first dental appointment here and was very pleased with the experience. The initial exam and charting were extremely thorough. Everything was explained to me clearly—including the chart findings, what they mean, and the recommended treatment plan. I appreciated how the Dental hygienist Courtney and the Dentist took time to answer my questions and made sure I understood the next steps. I left feeling informed and confident in the care I’ll be receiving.

Negative experience: If there was a zero star, that would sum up my experience today. After over 3yrs of routine services for my children, today I felt not just like a number but felt like trash. Great/ Amazing dentists and hygienist but the front desk lady was ruuuuuuude!!!!. I have always done a payment plan as we are private pay, today, the rules magically changed after they have already provided the services and the lady wasnt even kind about it. I asked why as a business they would let me schedule appointments (3), have me consent to treatment, proceed to provide treatment to my children then act a fool when i am on way out??? if they nolonger do payment plans.... Just to humiliate me?? to prove a point?? to be rude or just to exercise their racist rights?? The heck!!!!

Fantastic experience: We drive 4 hours to Fargo just to go to Saving Smiles. Everyone is professional, kind, and caring. Always a positive experience! We started coming 10 years ago when our kids were in college in the area. Neither our son nor daughter live in the FM area anymore, but we don't want to change dentists! We LOVE Saving Smiles!

Negative experience: They overcharge. I've never had to pay for a teeth cleaning ever before here. They also suggested very expensive and unnecessary procedures. I don't trust them. Also, it took me 2-3 months to get a teeth cleaning and then in that appointment they said I had to schedule another time to get it done. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Saving Smiles Dentistry in Fargo are always professional and that’s what matters the most to me. Many people have anxiety about dental work and I am one of them. The people at Saving Smiles are patient and understanding of my anxiety. They do not criticize me for not taking diligent care of my teeth, just encourage me to set reminders for myself to brush and floss every day. They accept my insurance. I would recommend Saving Smiles Dentistry to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful gentleman who did my cleaning, as my hygienist is out on maternity leave. The only negative response I have, is Savings Smiles does not accept Medica, which means I may be looking for a new dentist. I hate doing this, as I was also with the previous owner for many years!

Fantastic experience: We just joined Saving Smiles, as our insurance changed. Our kids were nervous as they had only seen 1 dentist in their life. We had to have some extractions with a very nervous child, they had extreme patience with him, talked him through every step, and he was willing and able to conquer his fears with the help of the staff. Our previous dentist didn't even want to attempt this due to his anxiousness with the procedure. He now has no fear of returning! Thank you so for your expertise, patience and kindness!

Negative experience: I had a poor experience overall. I received no guidance that only certain dentists at the clinic accepted my insurance. My hygienist was great. I was diagnosed with many cavities. I visited another dentist for a second opinion and had a completely different experience and diagnosis. I would recommend looking elsewhere. I felt like a number and just another check.

Fantastic experience: I was a new patient. I got in very quick for routine care. All staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Affordable for someone without dental insurance. Extremely satisfied, definitely will recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Every visit my daughter and I have...I've simply never had a single complaint. Our hygienists are always kind and honest on top of being excellent at their jobs! The front desk is very organized, no hidden fees with pre-procedure quotes, and the appointment reminders are key to my forgetful self! We are so happy to have made the switch here a year ago and excited to become lifetime clients!

Negative experience: This was my dentist years ago and they were absolutely awesome! It is a wholeeee different experience now. It truly sucks because the dental hygienists are fantastic! (5/5 for them.) But the front desk and phone employees are some of the rudest people I’ve talked to. Im going to a different practice in town that treats me much better. They truly just see you as a number and money here and nothing more.

Fantastic experience: Very happy to have chosen this dental practice since moving to Fargo in 2022. Today I had another routine cleaning with xrays. Uriel did an excellent job and my teeth have never looked better. He has the gentlest touch, yet all the plaque and tarter is gone. I scheduled my next appointment with him in 6 months. There is a tooth we've been 'watching" for awhile but nothing urgent. I appreciate they don't push any unnecessary procedures. I'm completely satisfied with my dental care ar Saving Smiles.

Positive experience: I had been a previous client before Saving Smiles moved. I hadn’t been since 2019! The new location is great! compared to the old location the lighting and waiting area has been updated and is welcoming. There’s a coffee and water area. I saw comments about a children’s area but I didn’t see that. I had a billing issue and was up front with it and said I could reschedule if need be, that didn’t seem to be a problem. Everyone was up front with costs. I also like that cosmetic dentistry is an option here. I was a bit thrown off at check in when the receptionist said “there might not even be time for a cleaning today” with eyebrows raised and pursed lips while the other just stared at me. More info would have been appreciated at that time. I felt judged and yucky due to the time I haven’t been back to a dentist. The hygienist was knowledgeable and kind and explained everything in a way that wasn’t scary and made sense. She was also very up front with cost of services and treatment plans. Checkout was good, sucks to wait until June for a cleaning but I think my appt time is different than most cases so unsure what appt availability for standard appts are. Overall good visit! Will return.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient to Saving Smiles Dentistry. I was very impressed how quick they got me in. Everyone was very Friendly from Front desk to the exam room to the billing. The Dr. Stated what was wrong and my options. Told him what I wanted and that was it. No pressure to make a different choice. Also fair priced since I didn't have insurance .

Im greeted by welcoming receptionist who are knowledgeable and cared for by a cleaning technician who does not shame or try and sell me additional unnecessary care. Negative experience: It's so unfortunate that the office staff is the way they are because the dentist and hygienists are great. They did not know how to bill my insurance correctly and said they were doing me a "courtesy" by working with my insurance. They are super nice until there is an issue that needs to be worked through. Then they don't want anything to do with you as a patient. I don't need to feel like doing business with someone is a favor to me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had bad experiences with other dental offices but Saving Smiles has truly been the best place for me. They are extremely kind and helpful when dealing with my anxieties and talking through the process of things. I also had an issue where after my appointment I got extremely light headed and almost passed out and they were extremely helpful with getting me ice packs some candy for low blood sugar and getting me to a different room where it was cooler and more private. I definitely feel safe and cared for at Saving Smiles

They've always been amazing but recently I had an experience with Jenna creating my temporary crown that I can't help but crow about. Fantastic experience: Super amazing staff. Front desk staff is always smiling and very helpful in answering questions. Hygienists and dentists are very friendly and very gentle when using tools. Very-kid friendly, they take very good dental care of my kids aging 6,8 and 12. They explain the tools they going to use in a such a nice way so that kids don’t get nervous or scared. Nice and clean environment and the coffee is super good.

It took me a long time to be able to go to a dentist again after a traumatic dental surgery performed years ago in another state. His friendly demeanor and thoroughness made the appointment a very pleasant experience. He was also attentive to all of my concerns.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite dentist office I’ve ever gone to, I will remain a patient here as long as I am in the Fargo area. Everyone is so professional and friendly. My fillings here have been the least painful I’ve ever experienced. The business itself is beautiful. They give you a nice welcome gift when you come in first your initial appointment (which is a super sweet gesture). And they have free coffee options to grab on your way out afterwards. Uricel is my hygienist and he is such a sweet, thorough person. The business is lucky to have him! Highly recommend this dentistry!
