Fantastic experience: I've had my share of Dentists and the one thing that jumped out to me was the at home feeling when i visisted for the first time. Dr. Davis and his team were friendly and provided exceptional service. Dr. Davis did not try to upsell me, he offered alternative methods that would be affordale.

Fantastic experience: I was very satisfied with the service, LOVED the cool up-to-date technology, and was very happy to encounter friendly and patient employees, especially now that I am a senior citizen! The dental hygienists are excellent. I never feel anxious about my appointment, and I have recommended Dr. Davis to those I know who have had negative dental experiences in the past. Have complicated dental problems? I recommend Dr. Davis! Just need a cleaning, I recommend Dr. Davis!

Fantastic experience: Stuti Shah has a great smile and love her job . I feel so comfortable and she makes sure I’m happy with my cleaning. Stuti is very caring and made sure I felt relaxed. My teeth looks amazing. She always ask how is my family. I think that is so nice. My teeth looks beautiful and cleaned. Stuti always answers all my questions. Love coming every 6 months. I think is Dr. Ray. He examined my teeth afterwards. He did amazing job. Very friendly. Great atmosphere is amazing from the front desk as well. Thank you for a great experience. Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Dr. Garland’s office. When I agreed to treatment, I was told I was signing up for a simple in-house payment plan with fixed monthly payments and no interest. What I actually received was financing through Alphaeon Credit — a high-interest credit card I was never clearly informed about. Because of this misrepresentation, I now face thousands of dollars in unexpected interest charges, despite making consistent payments in good faith. Attempts to resolve this issue with both the office and the financing company have gone nowhere. Patients deserve transparency and honesty, especially when it comes to financial agreements. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I cannot recommend this office to others.

Negative experience: service was nice at front but innappropriate and unprofessional care providers. as im getting my teeth cleaned the assistant commented how active my saliva glands were... and the doctor had no response or reaction... i will not be coming back to a place that allows sexual misconduct to the patients.

Positive experience: Just had my initial visit. But I feel as though I will enjoy this practice. It's a friendly warm family environment. I can't give it any more stars because this was just my first visit

Fantastic experience: I love this Dentist and it’s not widely popular to go to the dentist but they make it so comfortable. I’m not completely afraid but there are aspects I don’t like and they never make fun of me and always empathize. I saw Kari, hygienist, and she was FABULOUS! So I’m all set to see her again in 3 months. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist if you have been putting it off because you’re frightened. They are state of the art, kind, considerate, will work with your insurance, or lack thereof, and make your visit the best and easiest as possible. Don’t put it off any longer and tell them this Mama sent you! (but because I might get a hug!)

Positive experience: I had a great experience thanks to Corinne. She listened to my concerns and we went from there. She handled the Invisalign wand as if she’s been working with it all her life, very gentle and quick. I’m so grateful she was there for my visit.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here I’m glad I came. I was looking for a new dentist after having not been in a very long time, they made me feel super comfortable. Dr. Fagan was my dentist and she was so pleasant and helpful!

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this Dental office. I had a root canal back in August of 2023. Before the procedure they offered me a financing option with Alphaeon credit for both the root canal and crown. The total amount financed was a little over 3000 dollars. After getting my root canal done, I found out that I had insurance coverage on my crown and this dental office was not in network with the insurance company. So as anyone would, I went to the office on the day my crown was scheduled to let them know that I am not going to get the crown done and will be going elsewhere where it would be covered by my insurance. Lisa proceeded to convince me that I should still get it done there since I was already charged and that "It would be hard to find another dental office to do the crown and that the insurance can still deny coverage." I stood firm and said that I do not want to pay out of pocket for the crown so I will not be doing it here and told them to reverse the charge on my alpheaon credit account. She told me that refunds can take up to months to be completed. I gave them about 4 months before I started calling to see what had happened to the refund. I even check with Alpheaon Credit to see if a refund has even been initiated. The customer represantive told me no refund was initiated and it would have to be resulted with the Dental office. Every time I called they said I would receive a call back from the office manager within 1-2 weeks. I had called them about 6 times in the span of 4 months since I never received a call back from ANYONE. I have a really busy schedule and was unable to go in person to get this resolved. It was not until last month that I called and got lucky enough to speak with the "New office manager" who was very helpful. I then received another call back a few days later explaining that they only do refunds on the first Fridays of every month and that they would expedite this process for me given the situation. After all of this mess a year has gone by and I received an interest fee of $900 on a service I NEVER received. I tried calling the office today and was sent to the call center twice. I am so FRUSTRATED. I was taken advantage of since I am a young patient. Hopefully I can get this situation squared away with them and the credit company and it does not have to be escalated. To also note, the root canal that I DID receive is giving me issues and I have been getting heat sensitivity for 3 months now. I now have to go elsewhere for another Dentist to look at it. DO NOT COME HERE.

Fantastic experience: I was in so much unbearable pain and coming here was the best thing I could’ve did. I literally had the best crew (Ms Sade, Evon, Corrine and Jallayah)and dentist Dr. Kiru. Thank you for making me feel safe welcomed and most of all I am PAINFREE!!! Yall are the best!!!

Negative experience: I was in search for a new dentist and this was my first time attending the office. I love that this is a Black-owned dentist office with diversity of staff. The team/staff was also very kind. And, I didn't feel the best after leaving the office. I felt VERY overstimulated from the amount of staff working in very close quarters, talking back and forth to one another from across the room, and being shuffled to several rooms, meeting with 2 different people within an 1 hr and 30 minutes of being there. Maybe my experience was unusual since I had my initial consultation and teeth cleaning the same day, so that added to the stimulation. However, I didn’t feel as though the initial consultation was needed. I love that they asked me what’s important to me and what care I wanted to receive, but it felt more like answering an interview, rather than there being a true purpose. A lot of the questions I was asked in the initial consultation, I was asked via phone when I scheduled my new patient appointment and via the paperwork I completed online prior to the appointment. It just felt like a therapy session, which was an odd feeling for just needing my teeth cleaned. I don’t even know if the dentist or staff looked at that information before seeing me. Lastly, Dr. Garland was extremely personable, but he didn’t introduce himself, but instead sat down hurriedly, reviewed my x-rays (which was good), and then inspected my mouth, where, unfortunately, he wasn’t the most gentle. He’s been a dentist since before I was born, so I know he can look into a mouth and see from a few seconds whether there are issues, but it didn’t seem like a thorough inspection for this to be my first appointment. All, in all, I felt like I was in a busy and crowded office building, rather than in a peaceful dentist office, with an expectation of who I’d be meeting with and what they’d be doing—with ideally there only being 1 hygienist and x-ray tech and the dentist that I’d be seeing. Ambiance and feel is really important to me, especially with a bit of a vulnerable process like someone looking into my mouth and prodding around with sharp tools, so I’d like to feel comfortable throughout my time there. I don’t think I’ll be returning here in the future because of the overwhelmed feeling I left with.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased my husband and I decided to go back to Dr. Davis’s Practice. Couldn’t ask for a more positive energy. The front office staff is superb and of course, Dr. Davis has always been awesome. I was treated today by Dr. F. and team. She knows her stuff and is patient too. I think she is my new favorite. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here! Dr. Kiru did my crown and filling and I felt nothing, NOTHING. The and the dental assistants Alexis and Korinne were wonderful, they listened to my concerns beforehand and checked on me througout the process. Im glad I got their in house dental plan, officially a customer for as long as Im in the area! Also, pricing was upfront so no surprises at all, it was truly a blessing, thank you Dr. Kiru and LDA Korinne and Alexis, I really did have an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Garland and his entire practice is fabulous. I saw him 10 years ago and he fixed my smile and I felt soo much better. I couldn’t continue because of my insurance. After years of other dentist I got PPO insurance and gave finally made it back to Dr Garland. Every person my children and interacted with are soo nice. Ms. Rebecca in setting up appts, Jelaya at the front desk getting us set up, Korinne and Nique were so understanding and explained everything. Dr Garland is so thorough and treats you like family. Negative experience: Unfortunately, I have not been happy with lack of transparency and communication recently at this dental office. I feel like I was mislead to rashly commit to expensive Invisalign dental work when it was told to me that my insurance company would cover a large portion of the bill. When my insurance denied the claim, I was not contacted. They just billed me with no explanation. Had I been told that this was possible, I would have had the option to make a better informed consent. It seemed like they were fishing to get business instead of being genuine about providing a service. They also didn’t share that the technician is only available 1-2 days out of the week. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to make an appointment to be seen. I have been going here for over 10 years and have always been pleased. This experience was extremely disappointing for me. I hope they take the necessary steps to do better in the future.

Fantastic experience: It was painless until I got back to my desk as the anesthesia wore off the pain increased and took Motrin and a nap and I feel better now look forward to our next visit thank you again. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency. Within same day they got me in. Exam me and x rayed me and Amy was so nice enough to go through the payment plan. He monitors the hot spots or potential areas where I may have future problems. The Hygienist staff is also very gentle and thorough with their care. My teeth are in great shape and condition for my long haul toward the aging process!!

Negative experience: Dentist, hygienist and dental assistant were nice and professional. Need a work on the front desk people, especially communicating details and a little bit of accommodation. I addressed that I will be late because of the accident which caused traffic, but gave me an ultimatum of the time. If i am not there at 2:15, they will put me at 5 pm. I arrived at 2:25 in the area, but left because I would not be accommodated anyways. The front desk called me at 3:10 asking where am I. I told her i arrived at 2:25 in the area but decided to leave because I didn't make it at 2:15 and I wouldn't be accommodated anyways. She told me to come back as early as possible. They weren't paying attention that I need 5 fillings and a cleaning. I ended up having half of the work done and need to come back. It would’ve worked out since dental office usually makes you wait half an hour after your scheduled appointment to be called in. Next time, don't give people ultimatum with time, because this caused inconvenience to me by coming back again. Bottomline, pay attention with what the computer says in front of your face, and communicate the details. I took off work 3 hours early for this.

Fantastic experience: Heard about the tooth extraction deal and never thought it’d be so worth it. I love the friendly staff members and hygienist/Doctors. If I had a choice of picking a different dentist I wouldn’t choose anyone else. I love it here. The most welcoming dental office I’ve ever been to. If I could rate more than 5stars I would. They deserve all of them.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment and specifically asked if they were in network with Cigna. Did all the info over the phone and provided insurance information before my appointment. Just to be told once I arrived they are out of network and it would be $84. Definitely not paying when cleanings are covered 100% by insurance. Took time away from work for absolutely nothing.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE DR. DAVIS AND HIS TEAM. In 56 years THE BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER. Due to my dislike for the dentist I avoided going. Since going to Dr. Davis, I go to all of my appointments. I am having alot of work done, I had a root canal and felt no pain. They made me very comfortable. Fantastic experience: I have been a long time patient of Dr. Davis. Everyone is happy to assist you. They are professional and caring. The doctors walk you through the procedure and are accessible even afterward.

Fantastic experience: -Dr. Davis was very professional & respectful of my time (under 10 minutes wait). -Explained everything going on in my oral cavity with simplicity and in detail. -Really efficient staff, who have a nice approach to scheduling and organizing future appointments. -Affordable: my insurance took care of all the expenses. -The dental hygienist REALLY got my teeth clean recently, after a two year break from the dentist. KUDOS! **Do note that the office will work with you to find alternative appointments if there are scheduling conflicts, cancellations owing to the medical personnel’s absence, etc. Do your due diligence & follow up with them until a new appointment is secured.** Overall: would definitely recommend Dr. Davis to my social circle/network. Happy 2O23 x 2O24!

Negative experience: The scheduled service (cleaning and dentist exam) took place as expected. My concern was how the financial portion was handled: a) first having to pay for expected services prior to siting in the service chair was not expected by me . Any additional services discovered would require an additional check. b) next the dental exam by Dr. Mulugeta following the dental cleaning went well, but revealed quite a bit of dental work needed; the stated cost being $3,480.00. This was understood and agreeable by me and I felt that we would move towards scheduling until I was told that pay was required before scheduling could take place. NOW, this was shocking for me , especially when the person's first indication was the need to pay the entire total amount upfront, today! I indicated that I would pay a fourth of the amount today, ($870.00 and the remainder upon the date of service when scheduled. The problem overall here--One does not come to the dentist office expecting to pay $200.00 plus $3,400.00 for future dental work!

Fantastic experience: The Dental Hygienist is amazing. She discussed how to continue to take care of my teeth and gums, she made me feel welcomed , and she cares. Positive experience: Dr. Davis has been my dentist or over 20 years. He also took care of the dental needs of my sons when they were growing up and of other members of my family. Every dental experience has been delightful, from routine maintenance, root canals, crown, bridges, dental implants...I have always been greeted with wonderful smiles by a very professional, compassionate and caring staff. Negative experience: Still waiting for the office manager Jessica to call me back. She fails to give accurate information often. No one returns your calls. My crown came of twice. Both my husband and I haven’t received the type of service we should after years of loyalty. There is one lady there that assists the dentist and she deserves a 5 star. I honestly went back because of her. She is fantastic. She just came back from vacation and I missed her. I think she told be she’s from Cuba. Don’t quote me. I also miss Jamie. I never got a call so I called back 2 weeks later. The office manager struggles with communication things in it’s entirety.

Fantastic experience: I have never felt as comfortable as I do with the Garlans team for my dental needs. They made me overcome my phobia for the dental office. They are a team of professionals that truly care about you to give you a pleasant experience .

Negative experience: Have been trying to get this disputed bill resolved,but I can never get the person to take my calls. I was billed for work I didn't get done for $805 and I'm being avoided like I don't matter! Now I have to take off work to go up there personally and act a fool to get someone to take this serious. I had nothing but good things to say for the dentist up until now but the part dealing with billing and financial brings the rating way down. Pray you never have to deal with them for that reason. I also have to contact the board and BBB to complain and I hate to do that.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Garland Davis for almost twenty years. He and his staff are always very courteous and professional. Dr. Davis always does an outstanding job in any situation with my dental needs. He's my dentist now and forever.

Negative experience: Long story short, I went for a filler out of pocket. They digged too deep into the molar that my tooth hurt for several days, and I went to get it checked out to this same clinic and they took a look at it. They did a touch-up, and I was out the door. My tooth hurt for a couple more days, so I decided to go get a second opinion at a different clinic. Turns out they said I needed a root canal (which I did), so I went back to this clinic, and I have told them what this other clinic have said . They ran some x-rays and said indeed I need a root canal, and they would charge me $2800 after the discount for 1 root canal. (didn't sound fair)

Fantastic experience: My visits to Dr Davis Dental office has always been a great experience for me. His staff helps to feel at home with their smiles and genuine concerns to meet my my needs. Fantastic experience: This was my 2nd round finding a new office for my dental care . I absolutely loved the communication , from text ,emails and calls they were on point ! My office visit was not what I expected . Because of the 1st location I went to that made me feel like they left me hanging . I was so amazed ! I was greeted soon as I walked , a few seconds later someone came to get me to start my appointment. I was so nervous and scared to learn what procedures I would get ready to endure . They were very informative, keep me on a clear road of what to expect from start to finish . Everyone was polite and helpful . I saw great teamwork being displayed it felt like they were happy I was there as if they was just there waiting for me to arrive ! Just for me! In situations like this that are and can be sensitive you need that warm approach. And it is very much appreciated! I found a new dentist home! I am exited and eager now to get to the next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional customer service! They care enough about your visit to their office to ask you questions about what you, the patient's, goals are for their visit. They do this to ensure all expectations for treatment and other related issues are addressed. They do their very best to make sure you are comfortable with any procedures they have to complete (i.e., x-rays, cleanings, crowns, fillings, etc.). They give a thorough explanation of any dental issue(s) you may have and all services needed to correct the issue(s). They also discusses any financial concerns you may have and provide/suggest financial solutions that work best for you. Overall, friendly, caring, courteous service. Like family...

Negative experience: My family have been satisfied customers of Dr. Garland Davis office for the past 12 years. Employees have come and gone but this new group of front desk and back office financial staff need a lesson in customer service. My now 26yo daughter came to the office with new dental insurance came for her 1st appointment as an adult and was treated with a lack of respect that I could not have imagined based on my past experiences. The office staff failed to tell her the estimated amount she would pay after insurance paid before services were rendered. When she returned for part 2 of her treatment she was greeted with a substantial bill and two different explanations from the office staff regarding whether her insurance was in or out of network. The lack of transparency and the disrespectful tone is intolerable. I called the office today to inquire about a bill sent to me only to learn that the bill was for my daughter. The lack of customer service I received matched my daughter's experience at the office. Needless to say their phone greeting, how can I make you smile today, is not a reflection of the customer service provided. Our answer is, you cannot make me smile today and your services are no longer needed. Taking my families business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Office has been running short of hygienist and other essential dental staff for several months into a year and I am ready to switch. Never thought this office would ever be as bad as Batz & Weiner dental practice. However, they are definitely catching up to match the poor service I use to receive from them. Absolutely over it!

Negative experience: Called made an appointment not told at the time of the call that I would need to redo my entire record I was asked did anything change I told him nothing I changed all of my insurance information my address nothing has changed. Told him I could not come back and forth to the doctor's office needed to be seen that day. The scheduler told me that if there was an issue with my x-rays or any other issues they may have to have me come back another day I said I was coming for a simple cleaning. When I came it took them more than 30 minutes to see me experience with the doctor was fantastic as always Dr David is a wonderful doctor however they found some items that could be done today I just needed a deeper cleaning some medication in the gum line but they said I had to come back the next day to do this because they booked me for an initial consultation that is not what I discussed with the person on the phone when I was scheduling and so I have a really big problem with that it seems like they want you to come back over and over again to be able to just keep charging you for visits because the initial visit didn't cost anything. After this visit reminded me of why I had two dentists working with me the last time it's because of the scheduling back and forth and bringing you instead of scheduling you and doing the work necessary in one visit that can be done in one visit it's a difference if there are services that need to be a break in between I understand that but this was not and I have a problem with it so I will not be going back even though doctor Davis is a phenomenal dentist.. he is very kind he's very caring and he's very concerned if you have a lot of time to kill and money to spend I recommend Dr Davis's office 100%. If you have to work a job and can't take off back and forth then that is not the office for you

Positive experience: Good afternoon, I was informed that I had an outstanding bill. This took time from my appointment. This information was over six months ago, and no one notified me that there was an issue with my account. I really felt rushed this morning during my appointment. I hope that this never happens again, better communication needed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Davis is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been going to him for my dental needs for over 10years. My first visit to him required a root canal,,,, I was terrified! He took his time reassuring me that at any time I felt pain during the procedure he would stop and give more novacane. The root canal was a success and just as he promised he was attentive to my pain. I also got Veneers for my front top teeth and they are so beautiful!! Now I am in then process of getting implants for my back teeth. He does it all. He is compassionate, patient and accommodating. He will forever be my dentist. Thank you Dr. Davis for helping me to have a beautiful set of teeth. I am now able to smile with confidence!!

Negative experience: They moved us from our chairs few times because computers weren't working. Charged more than $100 for first check up. The recommendations more than $1000!!! I even paid to be scheduled and guess what? I decided to cancel that appointment. More than a week and still waiting for my refund. They have an excuse every day. Extremely expensive!!!! They just want your money

Fantastic experience: Always a good time at Dr. Davis’ office! My dental hygienist is a lovely person and the best hygienist I’ve ever had! Dr. Davis is very knowledgeable and down to earth and he has a great sense of humor.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my visit. Very thorough and mindful of my anxiety. Dr Davis was professional and comforting in telling me that I needed a bunch of work! My only complaint would be that my prescription was not called in to my pharmacy as I was told it would. I’m sure that may get handled by calling but I would have preferred some pain management through the night! I will definitely be back!
