Negative experience: At Tanyard Springs Dental in Spring Hill, TN with a friend. (Oct 2025…..i plan on reposting) Waiting room temperature has to be in the 60’s. I was the only one there besides the patient. I asked if the temperature could be changed and was told the doctor wouldn’t let them change the temperature and when I asked for a blanket, I was told, those are only for the patients in the back. I’m told the Dr is very skilled and kind. He needs a camera in the waiting room to see how his patient’s families are treated. No Heart or caring visible there. If you choose to go there, don’t take your family or make sure they take blankets and expect no caring or compassion from the women at the desk.

Positive experience: I like this dental office but they don't take payments on dental work, which is unfortunate for those like me on a disabled income. Maybe that 's the office policy for all dental clinics, I really don't know. I need about $1800 worth of work and my insurance is covering half so the balance is up to me to pay. Even if I give them a large down payment they won't accept payments on the balance. So be prepared to pay upfront before you go in or it will be for nothing.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken front tooth and I was seen as soon as they could. Exam went well and all i needed was having the tooth smoothed over where there were rough edges. This quick fix was at no cost to me. I wasn't expecting this but it is appreciated! Thank you, Dr. Miller!

Fantastic experience: The absolutely best experience getting me teeth cleaned, and I also did the lip flip. I have always been nervous about the dentist but Katrina welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable. I haven’t been to the dentist in over two years and she definitely took her time with me and got things done. Also if anyone is suggesting the lip flip i 100 percent recommended it. Does not hurt and makes me feel so much better about my smile. Katrina and Doctor Miller are the best!!!!

Negative experience: The location has been my go to since moving to Tennessee 3 years ago! The staff is always friendly & very efficient in care from start to finish insuring a comfortable & pleasant atmosphere! My dentist Jason addressed my concerns immediately and even took care of the issue same day, what a relief to not have to wait and schedule another visit! I find them top notch in care & will continue to refer them to others I know!

Fantastic experience: Great service, efficient, friendly, professional. Wait time was very short, less than 5 minutes. Did not have to wait long after I was seated in the chair for them to start to look at my gum issue ariund my implant. They examined the area and took xrays, butcould not find any issue. They sent me home with some antiseptic fluid t jo put on the gum area. I still have some concern that no cause has been determined (this is my 2nd visit on this issue). They will call next week to see how I am doing.

Fantastic experience: Nobody ever really likes going to the dentist! But I’ve got to tell you that this one by far has been the best Dentist I have ever been to in my life. They will not do work that is not needed. I sent my son to Mr. Jason for a tooth extraction before my son went in the military. Jason did not try to sell us some extra work. I travel constantly for work and I can call Mr. Jason or his staff at any point that I’m on the road and they always offer to help in anyway they can.From the time you walk in the door until the time you leave, they will make you feel like family. The entire staff is so professional!!! The dental hygienist, is so good that you could almost fall asleep in the chair. I would recommend Jason and his entire staff to anybody and everybody. And as a matter of fact, I have.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff and Dr. Miller are always kind, patient, and thorough. They are great with our young children and have helped make the experience of going to the dentist positive and stress free. I love that they have early appointments to avoid missing school and work too! I highly recommend them to everyone and folks of all ages.

Positive experience: Very friendly. However, a cpl yrs ago when I came in for a cleaning. I showed them a small baggie with one of my crowns that had come off. The hygienist offered to keep it (in my file, i presumed) and when I had the time, I could have them put it back in OR use its dimensions to make a new one. I agreed and gave it to them. Well, 2yrs later and they can't find it anywhere. They said it probably got thrown out. I find this incredibly disrespectful and concerning bc I entrusted them with it only for them to chuck it in the trash. Now that I'm needing 2 more crowns, I wanted to get this one done also, but with no record of its dimensions, I can't. Very disappointed in their dismissive handling of something for which there is now NO replacing.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist an assistant! Lost crown that had been put on following root canal. No charge at all, even though it had been quite a while! Got me in as soon as possible and no waiting!

Negative experience: The dental hygienist and dentist are wonderful but the reception staff are rude and abrupt and unfriendly. I started using this dentist 2.5 years ago and the front desk staff has just gotten worse. We will be finding a new clinic.

Negative experience: The secretary has zero customer service, unwelcoming and is incredibly rude. I thought the "appointment reminder" call was awkward and showed absolutely zero personality or customer service, chucked it up to her anxiety BUT THEN I met her in person.. it was WORSE! I'm new to the area and underestimated the traffic coming from Mt. Juliet, TN where I work, and a school zone right outside the office. I had never been here and turned the wrong way at the red light. I apologized when walking in and was told I had missed the grace period by 20 minutes when I was 13 minutes late. This was my very first time every going there.... If the face of the company is that bad, I'm not interested in spending my money here. I understand it's hard to find people right now, but trust me she's costing you more money than you know.

Negative experience: My son had multiple teeth worked on here and every time we went in another $1600 bill. The ones they worked on are still bad and need filled the crown on his front tooth looks horrible. The front office staff is horrible and they won't even give you a payment plan. Not returning.

Fantastic experience: After trying at least five different dentists in the general area I had the best experience ever at Tayner Dental. The staff is amazing the hygienist so personable, and the doctor actually listens! They don't try to upsell you to unnecessary work and they really care about the health and well-being of your mouth. I'm a client for life and will have my son here when he's no longer at a pediatric dentist. Bravo for caring for people first!

Negative experience: I scheduled a normal teeth cleaning with insurance for me and my husband. They did not clean our teeth. They instead wanted to do more work that I had not scheduled or finically planned. The dentist hygienist diagnosised me and wouldn't treat my scheduled cleaning without spending the out of pocket cost for additional add ons. The most painful experience I had had a dentist and that is saying a lot. Any recommendations for a respectable dentist office? I am a business women and didn't agree with their customer care.

Negative experience: I felt rushed through for a cleaning. The person cleaning wss rushed. She took xrays without using protective cover on me she did not polish all of my teeth nor attempted to floss all of my teeth. Prior to this experience was good.

Fantastic experience: Got me in quickly. Repaired the damaged 10 year old filling quickly and without any pain. Shots did not even hurt. I was in and out within about 30 minutes. Tooth feels great one day after. Thank God for good dentistry!

Negative experience: Been here several times but my most recent visit I was charged a completely different amount than what was originally quoted when I inquired about it the secretary would do nothing and then I asked if I could do a payment plan and she stated there was nothing they could do. She was extremely rude and not at all cooperative. She would also not release my records when I asked and simply said it is a long process and all I could do was fill out a request. Extremely upset as a working mother of twins this amount was a hardship and I was met with zero empathy or options. Will be finding a new dentist.

I was looking for someone who wasn't going to push any new products or surgeries on me, but would listen to me and would offer services but never push me into something that wasn't the best for me. "Doc" is that guy!! Shay, is exceptional as well very thorough in my cleaning and trusted to give wise counsel on how to care for one's teeth. Looking for a great dental team - look no further!
