Bright Side Dental

Negative experience: The dentists and hygienists are truly great—professional, kind, and thorough, and I’ve always felt well cared for during the actual appointment. Unfortunately, the overall experience is frustrating. Appointments are ridiculously long because they pack so many patients in (myself and my sons have had appointments that lasted 5+ hours long), the prices are very high compared to other offices (can get 4 Invisalign retainers at other dentists for the price of 2 from here), and the amount of phone calls/texts is excessive. My most recent appointment I was told they could not do a crown and I would need an implant. I went to another dentist who was not only able to do the crown, but if I had gone with an implant it was almost 1,000$ cheaper. While the clinical care is excellent, the scheduling, cost, and communication make it hard to recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went into the office crying because my tooth was giving me the ... but I left out out the dentist with a smile and my spirit did ...back flips and did breakdancing. Dr. Elturk and his Assistant Annie are the best... they are so gentle, and caring oh...my spirit just gave them hugs after hugs...lol they didn't even know! Much love I say respectfully!

Fantastic experience: This place was amazing. From the front desk to the dental assistants to the cleaning to the actual dentist! Very comfortable environment. They all smile and speak with such care and professionalism. Dr. Adams was my dentist and he’s definitely a 10/10. And they never once made me feel judged

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Dr D. Hall, his kindness and craftsmanship was top notch. 2 years ago I came in sobbing because insurance wouldn't cover my post-root-canal crown, so he built up a crown-less tooth and a perfect seal that reached deep deep under my gumline, and it felt like a normal tooth! Recently I was able to find an insurance approved dentist to complete the crown job, and while he was drilling into Dr Hall's work, he kept exclaiming how good the craftsmanship was and asked to extend his kudos for that incredible work. I can only hope that this new dentist's work can hold up as good as Dr. Hall's.

Fantastic experience: I loved it here they were so nice and helpful Dr. Elturk and Monika were talking through it showed me examples and were really helpful when I asked questions even the people who cleaned my teeth made me feel at home come here it’s worth it promise

Negative experience: I appreciate the male dr who saw me ,I did Not appreciate his assistance laughing at my concerns as if I told a funny joke. I’m already uncomfortable with dentist Office. Now I’m more discouraged.I would prefer a more professional establishment.

Negative experience: The hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth however this place prices is insane and also I don’t like being told they don’t know exactly what I need so they were guessing. But the office is clean

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Dr. Patel, her assistant Annie, and the whole Bright Side team for being so kind and patient with me during my visit. I suffer from severe anxiety at dentists, so when I broke my tooth the other night - I was dreading my appointment the following day. Recognizing this, the Bright Side team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and reassure me everything would be okay. The second Dr. Patel would see me flinch, she would stop and ask what was wrong and adjust accordingly to ensure I wasn’t in any pain. I’ve never experienced such attention to care in a heath care facility from everyone I interacted with. I’m so grateful I was recommended to them and will continue to visit Bright Side for any future dental needs.

Positive experience: Overall the staff was kind and knowledgeable. My only issue is that my cleaning felt rush. The numbing gel wasn’t given time to work before the Hygienist began cleaning and scraping my teeth. I had to stop her and ask for more numbing spray. Pain & discomfort continued throughout my evening.

Fantastic experience: This place is the absolute best dental office in the world! I came in with an abscess tooth that was killing me. Dr. Roy Elturk took care of me and did the root canal the day of! He was very caring and happy to take care of me. His dental assistants Annie, Nichole, Ashley, and Monica were incredible as well. Always making sure my needs were met with no questions asked. Everyone also informed me with every move they made and that’s super reassuring for someone that’s scared of the dentist. Made me feel like I knew the staff for years. Also they really came through in a big way and helped me out financially. This will be my regular dentist office forever now. Fantastic experience: I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction. They were super professional and caring. The doctor kept asking if i could feel anything and numbed me until it was painless. They even called a day later to check up one. I would definitely reccomend. These are professionals and they are very caring.

Positive experience: Great dentist and assistants. They completely lied about how fast my temporary and bone graft would be completed though. Every add and person said same day or 2 days for a tooth. Im a business owner and cant be toothless for two weeks or more. Its completely unacceptable to mislead people that this would be fast and id not be toothless for 2 damned weeks. Im a business owner. This is NOT WHAT I SIGNED FOR. Now im financially committed. No slight on the assistants or Doctor, but this is not what I was sold

Fantastic experience: My wife came in for a cleaning, cavity filling and wisdom tooth extraction. Dr Adam Elturk was super professional and patient as my wife needed to feed the baby between the cleaning and filling . He kept checking in to make sure she was number correctly and ensured the process was painless.. Definitely reccomend.

Fantastic experience: Had a dental emergency on a Friday night. Was not a patient of Bright Side but called Saturday morning and got an appointment for that morning. Dr. Domenick Hall did an excellent job fixing my tooth and even diagnosed a separate issue that he also took care of on the spot. Very personable as well. Very pleased with this location and grateful for their quick assistance.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Elturk and Annie were amazing and made extracting my wisdom tooth a walk in the park. Dr. Elturk was masterful in numbing the right spots with precision and speed. I couldn't feel a thing. I was back to eating that same day and only felt little soreness for the next couple days. His helper Annie was also very diligent and very supportive during the process. They made sure I was happy with the plan before proceeding. I highly recommend coming to this office if you need a dentist that is not only good at explaining the plan, but also great at executing the procedures.

Fantastic experience: Incredible dentist with a exceptional staff! I made a mistake and showed up a day early for my appointment but the staff accommodated my mistake and it fit me right in they were very friendly and the doctor was incredible they did a full cleaning and two fillings in one day on a day that I was not even supposed to be there! Lived out of state for years didn't have the opportunity to continue until I came back to Michigan and again I used this location to get dental. This dentistry has the newest equipment. Fantastic experience: I’ve had nothing but good experiences every visit. The dentist makes me so nervous, but once I’m in talking to the doctors and staff I felt so comfortable. I felt like they were honest and transparent about the cost and work that was needed. I’m moving and will travel the hours to make the visit.

Fantastic experience: My first time getting my wisdom teeth pulled....not just one but ALL 4! Although the terrors of what I've heard about getting teeth pulled lurked in my mind...Bright Side Dental was very professional, efficient, and attentive throughout the whole process. Dr. Elturk listened and was thorough when explaining the procedure. Monika was very helpful in answering the surprisingly minimal questions I had after going through the after care. Even the billing person (i believe was Monica also) came in and was quick and accommodating with the options available if your insurance doesn't cover the full balance. The procedure was not painful due to the numbing medication, there was pressure and just naturally uncomfortable for anyone especially a first timer! Don't fret Bright Side Dental has got you covered.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Brightside Dental has always been amazing. The Bloomfield office is where I started but now I’m at the Southfield office and I must say Dr. Patel and her assistance’s Annie, Monika and Justin were spectacular. Fantastic experience: Dayana was great, gentle, and gracious regarding making me feel comfortable inserting the items on which I had to bite (back, front). Areej was patient with my minimal anxiety, and she assisted the process in not being as painful/irritating as usual. I highly recommend both for service.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience and the crazy part is I never been seen just waited in the lobby with bad experience. I literally ask the dental office yesterday did they accept my insurance and the lady mentioned yes of course we do, so once I went in for the appointment some lady that had no sympathy and didn’t even apologize that the information I was provided was not true says oh your insurance is out of network. I do not appreciate the lack of communication with that damn office and nor do I appreciate not caring for the customers. I will not recommend this dental office to anyone. Horrible communication and no concerns for the patient’s .

Fantastic experience: Listen, I never leave reviews… but I recently had a fill- in crack which left an hole in my tooth and Dr Elturk and his team (Skye, Ashley and Annie) did a phenomenal job! Midway through fixing the issue I had to stop and tell them this has been THEE BEST experience ever! They were knowledgeable, communication was exceptional throughout the entire process and made me feel so comfortable and confident in their work! Their bedside manner was chefs kiss! I’ve had some TERRIBLE experiences in the past and I’m no stranger to dental work, but this was literally the best experience ever! I highly recommend them ! Even while typing this Monica and Dr Elturk called to check in on me after my procedure! Grade A experience

Fantastic experience: My Wisdom Tooth Was Swollen and I Was In So Much Pain and Worried That My No Insurance Would Stop Me From Getting Seen I Scheduled A Appointment and at First I Was Thinking Okay They're Just Gonna X Rays First Then I'll Reschedule For Them To Take It Out BABY THEY TOOK THAT TOOTH THE SAME DAY AND I AM SO DAMN HAPPY I AM PAIN FREE!!!! After Being Numbed Up The Dentist Wasn't Even In My Mouth For 3 Mins and He Pulled It Out SUPER FAST SUPER EASY. Staff Was Absolutely Amazing and Welcoming They Played Music I Liked During The Appointment Which Was Awesome Sauce I Absolutely Will Recommend

Fantastic experience: I’ve been searching for a dentist since mine retired during Covid. One I went to wanted to do X-rays one day and then you would have to schedule a cleaning for another day…who has the time for all of that. The other I went to was arrogant and quite pushy so that was a one and done. Everyone at Brightside Dental was friendly and welcoming and I was so happy I wasn’t being pushed invisiline or something else I didn’t absolutely need done. Thank you Brightside Dental staff!!

I saw Dr. Hall he was terrific! fantastic! He took care my pain I love ❤️ him for that and Nicole is like a close friend she was great! That will be my Dentist place to go to.

Fantastic experience: This place is great, staff is polite and caring. They answer all questions and concerns, as well as make sure your comfortable and stress free. Doctor Adam, and the dental hygienist is on point . I would recommend checking this place out if your looking for a new place to visit. Need to get some fillings done so, I will repost an update, however I have all the confidence that my experience will be up to par... Negative experience: At first glance, I had high hopes for this place. The office staff are nice but unfortunately that’s as good as it gets. I had a root canal done in Jan 2024. By April/May I began having pain in the treated area and went back in. All the dentist did was floss it and send me home with a water pick tool. That sufficed for a few days. A whole year later I am experiencing even worse pain than I was in the spring and I refuse to go back. I went to another dentist and was diagnosed with a failed root canal which I have to get a retreatment for with the endodontist. I also believe I was charged unfairly when majority of my procedure was covered by my insurance. If you can, go elsewhere where you’ll be taken care of rather than advantage of or even worse, ignored.

Fantastic experience: Really nice office. The staff are very nice. Everyone is very kind a lot smiles and very welcoming. They talk to you and make you feel comfortable. The dentist are the same, very friendly and making sure you are com. I had an overall excellent experience, I highly recommend Brightside Dental to anyone and you won’t regret it!!

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience bringing my 3.5 year old in for a chipped tooth. This was an emergency appointment, and he had never been to the dentist. From navigating a call from a frantic mom (me) to easing my son's fears the team handled everything so well! The front desk team was so kind and helpful, the hygienist who did the x-rays was playful and fun for my kiddos and Dr. Patel knew just the tricks to help my son feel comfortable. If you're nervous about a dentist visit, GO HERE!

Fantastic experience: I came here for an emergency extraction. I was nervous, because last extraction I had went terribly. They made sure I was comfortable and didn't judge me on my nervousness or my many questions. They were very friendly and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time.

Fantastic experience: I had been having a toothache for a couple of weeks that had grown progressively worse. I called Bright Side Dental in Southfield and they got me in the same day. Dr. Adam and his staff were Wonderful. While listening to smooth jazz, I had to have 2 teeth extracted, with one being my wisdom tooth. I had NO pain during the procedure! Great dentist office!!!

Fantastic experience: My dentist went above and beyond to explain everything that he found. The Dentist explained what my options and procedures were going to be. The actual service was scary but the Dentist gave instructions which made the process easier. At one point during my service which was a last minute appointment, I was blessed to be serviced by two awesome Dentist at once. I’m very pleased with the work, also I don’t have anymore pain and cosmetically the work look natural. Thank you Bright Side Dental!!!

Fantastic experience: Hello, it’s been a whole year with Dr Adam & staff!! The whole staff is well trained with manual cleaning. I had Ronya for my last appointment and the same results! Smooth and NO FLARES for me. Dr Adam is so kind and patient. He is AWESOME ! Great technique with the tools ! Monika (Dental Assistant ) equally fits the staff with patience, kindness and professionalism! Front desk is has gotten me in every time I had an emergency no questions asked! I found a great fit with Bright Side! Again HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Doreen I have recently been diagnosed with TN , after being in pain for 3 years and have NOT had my teeth cleaned since, Davina was patient with me!! Didn’t use cold water which is a trigger and I think it was called manual cleaning!!! She was gentle and I made it through the cleaning without a flare up!!! Highly recommend!!! Doreen

Fantastic experience: I was looking for emergency care and found them on google. From the time I made the phone call to the time I sat in the dental chair was within an hour. The staff were fast, efficient, and very pleasant. They really make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Thorough at explaining what you were having done and the music to help soothe the nerves. Upon finding out that it was my birthday, the entire staff sang Happy Birthday . It was nothing I have experienced in a dental office before. It was always dreadful but I can't stop telling family and friends about my experience and excited to go back

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience with this place. In my paperwork I clearly stated that I was pregnant. Upon being called back for my appointment I mentioned again that I didn’t want X-rays due to my pregnancy. At this time they tell me that they cannot even see me AT ALL. I booked my appointment and completed the paperwork the week prior to my Monday appointment. Checked “pregnant” ahead of time and they clearly didn’t even read any of my paperwork to prepare. I called with my insurance information also ahead of time. They input it incorrectly and made me call to sort it out when it was a typing error. They ended up starting my appointment 20 minutes late AND kicked me out. When ALL of this could have been handled well in advance. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere and recommend to everyone else who lives nearby to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: ‍⚕️‍⚕️Staff is very attentive and laid-back and conversational. Also very knowledgeable about oral health with great advice given. Teeth cleaning was very well done and felt comfortable. Great establishment with good people even the receptionist made me smile. Fantastic experience: They really were helpful with my wisdom tooth pain. I made an emergency appt because the pain was unbearable & they were able to extract it the same day. The process was painless & I haven't felt pain since the extraction. The staff were pleasant as well from the front desk to the actual dentist. :)

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about getting my tooth pulled, literally on the verge of tears from the anxiety. I requested laughing gas to help me. I expected so much pain and I literally felt nothing other than the slight pressure that the doctor described. The doctor was so nice to me and personable. The staff is great. I walked in there with a phobia of having my teeth pulled and walked out with courage. will never go anywhere else to get my dental work done and I’m no longer scared of having this done for the second pull coming up. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Bright Side Dental and truly can’t say enough good things about this place. From start to finish, it was unlike any dental visit I’ve had before. The office is exceptionally clean and inviting, and the staff are incredibly kind and seem to genuinely enjoy their work. My cleaning was thorough, and I really appreciated how the hygienist explained how my teeth were doing and gave helpful advice on how I could improve my dental care. Dr. Hall was beyond excellent. He took the time to explain everything clearly and has a fantastic bedside manner. The entire experience was so pleasant—much better than any dental office I’ve been to in the past. I’m thoroughly impressed, and I don’t plan on going anywhere else in the future!

Fantastic experience: Bright Side Dental provided me with the most positive medical experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I called to book an appointment (they got me in within the hour of calling for severe gum pain as a new patient) they were so patient and accommodating! Dr. Patel and every single member of the staff at the clinic that I interacted with were so compassionate and kind. They took their time to explain everything to me, answered all my questions, provided me with my options, and made me feel more comfortable than I have ever felt in a medical setting. I ended up requesting to reschedule a wisdom tooth removal much sooner than I had initially scheduled it for when the pain became insufferable, and they fit me in that very same day and provided me with so much relief. The procedure was incredibly smooth, and Dr. Patel was caring and positive the entire time, and kept me laughing and at total ease for someone having their first oral procedure done. I can’t even imagine going to another dental clinic now! Dr. Patel also went above and beyond after I left to make sure I was able to get the medications I was prescribed when the pharmacy I went through was causing frustration upon frustration by messing up the prescriptions. I truly can not say enough great things to praise the wonderful staff at this location. I’m just so grateful that I found them, and have already recommended them to all my loved ones. I am officially a Bright Side Dental loyalist!

Positive experience: I don’t feel my cleaning was good enough. I felt the cleaning was not thorough. It took more time taking X-rays of my teeth. The X-rays were very cumbersome and uncomfortable. There needs to be a better way to X-ray my teeth than what was done. Everyone in the office is professional and friendly. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: New patient and will be a new continuous patient. They were very thorough, clean, patient, informative and caring. I really felt comfortable and in good hands. I take pride in my teeth and having a good dentist is a priority for me. I saw Dr. Adams very nice, caring and gave a really good examination and explanation of my visit. The hygienist was Davina(she was very good and informative). The X-ray specialist was Taylor and she was really fast and caring because I hate how painful those X-rays can be. Love this place overall

Fantastic experience: I just got all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Bright Side Dental. The procedure took about an hour and I felt zero pain. The numbness injections worked wonders and so far, my recovery has been comfortable. I highly recommend Bright Side if you are looking for a dentist you can trust to make your visit painless and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place. Dr. Patel and her assistant Nichole are the best, very helpful and caring while taking care of my teeth! Patel is very nice and humorous, I loved being able to chat with her. Also, Love how they educate their clients on how to maintain good health teeth. The staff was very friendly, professional, informative and fast. I love how comfortable I was with the music and cozy blanket lol. The Southfield location will be my dentist home for my son and I. Fantastic experience: I have a lot of dental trauma from childhood so I am constantly resisting finding/going to the dentist. My friend referred me to this place and I needed to get checked out that day. The receptionist was so kind and receptive and did get me an appointment that day! I saw Dr. Hall and he filled my cavity. Also, for new patients you are able to get X-rays, and exam and one other thing for $35! Its a deal like no other. I went in yesterday for a post op and got my filling adjusted. Dr. Hall has great bedside manner and is super kind. I've had nothing but a great experience at Brightside Dental!

Fantastic experience: Sky was kind, patient and gentle with me during X-rays due to my tooth pain. Dr.Patel was all smiles, very nice and had a positive attitude! She was very informative of the process and plan of my care moving forward. She supplied me with antibiotics and pain medication to get me to my next appointment. First visit with bright side and definitely won’t be the last! Loved it. Looking forward to seeing them again. Glad I chose to come here!

Positive experience: This was my first time going to brightside Dental, the people was very respectful and courteous didn't take long. And the receptionist who thought I had a copay and when she found out that I had insurance. She ran to my car, gave me my money back. I appreciate the honesty.

Fantastic experience: As a woman in her 40’s with a crippling fear of the dentist, I would recommend that anyone go to this establishment. Everyone was calm, took their time, showed compassion, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible with the process. This was my first cleaning in over 4 years and I had to have part of my mouth numbed to allow them to get the deeper tartar. They gave me nitrous oxide to help me relax, talked me through every step, and didn’t judge me for crying or jumping at any sudden sounds. I plan to go back next month to start to process of getting my smile back, and I know that I will be treated with the same level of respect and compassion.

Fantastic experience: I have been bring my son to the Southfield location and we absolutely love it there. Out of the few dentists we visit in the past, this is the only one my son looks forward to for his appointment. The staff are extremely friendly and a joy to encounter with. And my son dentists is so amazing at his job that I have switched now to start making appointments with him.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting from out of town and chipped a tooth. I called Bright Side Dental and without hesitation they were able to fit me in within 30 minutes of calling. Dr. Patel was thorough and my tooth looks good as new. Nichole was amazing and worked quickly and efficiently. I was out within an hour. All of the staff that I spoke to was so kind, I was very shocked at how nice everyone was, from the techs, to the desk workers. Even though I am from out of town I will definitely be telling my family who lives in the area about my wonderful experience here.

Negative experience: I honestly can’t give this place a good review. It’s clean . But I tried this place from searching my covered dentists in network. First of all I just wanted a perio (deep) cleaning. I arrived at my scheduled appointment. First they took my blood pressure… yes a dentist office took my blood pressure . It was 180/130 from their machine… I should be dead . They took it with another machine… still high . It was a machine that i literally have at home. Anyways i went thru this grueling X-ray process i had to stand up and take X-rays. Followed by X-rays in the seat oh wait it gets better more X-rays after the cleaning and wait even more after . Insane yes! I got the cleaning she mentioned my blood pressure… again at a dentist office. Then the dentist comes in and tells me “oh wait I’m not in your network let me get someone else!” At this point I’m just praying to get outta of this place and we are 2 hours in. I survived won’t return. A long and horrible process that I haven’t experienced with any other dentist. The whole intial process for this place was too much for me I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: So glad I found this office. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and kind. I have anxiety surrounding going to the dentist, but I was very comfortable and reassured during my visit and the hygienist made sure to continually check in to make sure I was okay. Fantastic experience: I had a business trip to Michigan for 5 days. On my 2nd day, I bit into a sticky gummie and pulled my in plant partial loose. OMG! I went to the internet and found Bright Side Dental. It offered same day service! The personel worked around my schedule (3x). I was elated! I thought I was going to have to wear a mask the remainder of my trip. Mind you this was in the front of my mouth. Dr. Adam Elturk ( yes, I grabbed a business card on the way out) was so friendly He answered questions I had about my partial. If he was a medical doctor, I would say he had great bedside manners. The assistants Nicole and Sky were kind as well. Sweet ladies. Yall, I don't write reviews. I had to because this dentist office is a hidden gem. Did I tell you the place is CLEAN? Yes! If you are looking for a dentist who offers great customer service, you feel valued , people are nice and smiling, Bright Side Dental is the place.

Fantastic experience: My first time visiting this office and seeing a dentist in 5 years due to not having insurance. Everyone was so friendly and polite, very well-mannered and cared deeply. The appointment ended up taking a very long time due to unforeseen circumstances; however, all staff continuously checked in on me and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Roy Elturk was awesome and provided excellent care. I have quite some catch up work to be done, but very happy to go back because I felt very cared for!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience at bright side. Scheduled an emergency appointment to get the wisdom tooth pulled, got in the very next morning. Dr Adams and all of the assistants were great. Clean office, upgraded technology unlike some dental offices. I went to my regular dentist and he didn’t even tell me I have over 10 cavities. SMH! I will not be going back to them anymore. DR Adams just gained a life long patient. I was so scared and he was so accommodating and walked me through everything! Even the needle to numb me was a walk in the park!
