They went out of their way to help me but their kindness was just again AMAZING. His work on my mouth went very smoothly and relatively painless. The pricing was extremely fair. Negative experience: I visited Lonetree Dental for an emergency dental appointment after chipping tooth #25. I was scared and in significant pain, as this was my first experience with dental trauma. Dr. James Fischer, who had previously seen me for routine cleanings, was my attending dentist. At each of my prior checkups, he concluded the visit by assuring me my teeth were ‘perfect’ and that I didn’t need any additional treatments. However, during this emergency visit, his demeanor was noticeably different—detached, lacking compassion, and seemingly annoyed by the fact that he had an emergency patient, in spite of me calling that morning and scheduling an appointment. This was of course beyond my control, and I had previously been encouraged by the clinic to join their dental membership plan, which included one emergency visit per year. Dr. Fischer proceeded to present me with only two options for my chipped tooth: Invisalign or smoothing/buffing the tooth. The former made no sense to me, as he had never mentioned Invisalign during any prior visits and offered no explanation as to how it would help with a chipped tooth. Left with only the second option, I trusted his professional recommendation and agreed to have the tooth “smoothed” or “buffed.” At no point did he mention the possibility of a composite repair, which I later learned is the typical protocol with a chipped tooth. Before beginning the procedure, I asked if I needed any kind of numbing agent or pain management, and he responded, “Not for this.” At that point, I was already in significant pain as I’d never experienced a chipped tooth before. He proceeded to shave down the tooth without administering any anesthesia, all while his large Komondor dog, George, was present in the operating room. At one point, the dog bumped into him while he was operating a tool in my mouth, causing him to shout “George!” in frustration. I was in excruciating pain and said so out loud. Dr. Fischer snapped that he was “almost done,” and when he finished, he appeared both panicked and annoyed. I asked to see the result in a mirror. He responded, “I don’t have time, I have other patients,” and promptly left the room without even checking on my well-being. I found this deeply unprofessional. I then asked the hygienist for a mirror. She seemed uncomfortable and hesitant. When I finally saw my tooth, I gasped—it looked even worse than before, and the pain was even more excruciating. I was horrified and asked her, “Is this what we were supposed to do?” She simply shrugged. I left feeling deeply uneasy and violated. The pain over the next several weeks was so unbearable that I eventually saw a cosmetic dentist (in addition to losing almost 15 pounds). I learned that the treatment I received at Lonetree Dental was both unnecessary and inappropriate. A composite repair should have been offered. A numbing agent should have been used. And Invisalign should never have been presented as a viable solution for a chipped tooth. I believe Dr. Fischer exploited my vulnerability and lack of experience with dental trauma, denying me proper care, pain management, and a safe and sanitary treatment environment. I subsequently spent over $2k on corrective procedures and pain management. To this day, I continue to experience both pain and emotional distress as a result of the negligence and substandard care I received at this clinic 2 years ago.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fisher and the assistants did a great job on my crowns. I have the temps on now, expect the permanent ones in a couple of weeks.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed. I had an appointment for an examination, X-rays, and teeth cleaning, but the assistant told me that the periodontist was too busy and that I would only be able to get the X-rays done today, and that I would have to reschedule the rest of the appointment. The receptionist also confirmed this at the scheduling counter. I go to the dentist every year, but this is the first time I've ever experienced something like this. I am very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist isn’t a persons’ favorite thing to do however, we all have to go and I highly recommend Lone Tree Modern Dental and Dr Fisher. The staff is very professional and always provides excellent service and care.

Fantastic experience: I had a bad experience at a previous dentist so I was nervous and guarded about revisiting my dental issues. But my experience at this clinic was incredible- I wish I had come here in the first place. The front desk staff is very friendly and Dr Fischer is very knowledgeable, patient and explained everything including my options. Dr Fischer never pushed me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with and I felt cared for as a person, not just a number. I am very satisfied with the work I had done and moving forward, I won't go anywhere else.

It was a very difficult extraction and the being said the doc and his staff were very patient and collective also while dealing with other patients. I have always had a pleasant time at the facility.

Negative experience: We had a very disappointing experience with this orthodontic practice. I brought my son in for Invisalign treatment, and over the course of his care, we were seen by two different orthodontists—both of whom left the practice, and left limited documentation. We were then left under the supervision of a general dentist, not a certified orthodontist. Unfortunately, my son’s orthodontic issues were never properly followed through or corrected. We recently had an evaluation with a new orthodontist who confirmed he now needs a full orthodontic retreat. Despite this, the original practice has refused to offer any kind of refund or resolution to help cover the cost of correcting the failed treatment. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and costly. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking reliable and consistent orthodontic care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fischer and his assistant were excellent! I was terrified to have two crowns replaced at the same time. They worked together seamlessly and efficiently to get the work done as quickly as possible. Their tone of voice and conversation was reassuring. After the work was completed, the dental assistant massaged the area to lessen the tension in my jaw. This greatly affected recovery after the pain meds wore off. I would give them 10 stars if possible!

There office is very inviting, from the lovely decor to the latest equipment used. It’s a pleasant, peace filled environment for their patients.

Fantastic experience: Omg wow wow wow. Dr Farmer and Sarie treated us like family. Total root canal emergency same day and they were able to see me literally. Took the X-rays and all and I was done with the procedure in less that 45 minutes. This facility is totally our dentist and I highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: Reviews are interesting when there are an unjustified 3 stars or lower. Seems people are less inclined to own their role these days or even acknowledge a one time blip. Rudeness is relative. It does not always come without triggers of bad behavior. Honey is better than vinegar. I always wonder how bad reviewers were truly prompted. What was THEIR role. For instance: 3 stars when you can't offer a 2 second text reply with a courtesy yes to confirm your own appt? You say you don't have time, you have a busy day. You have wasted the office's time in trying to confirm the appt you agreed to. So they are firm in finally getting you to commit yes or no so they may learn if they need to cancel. Kudos to them. 2 seconds is all you needed to invest. They are busy too. News flash...we all are. Own it. A 1 star for a one time bad billing experience? When you still had good service, do they really need to be dinged to a 1. And a 1 star for someone who had a hard to fit crown AND multiple fillings? Translates: sounds like you have a role in this and are not taking great care of your teeth. Own your part and take care of your teeth or you wouldn't need all the work. People have become so whiny, noncommittal, and entitled. Toughen up buttercups. If you're not brushing and flossing daily/ often, then don't blame the dentist. Not sure how other countries educate but it is widely taught in the US to take care of your teeth.

Fantastic experience: It took us 10 years to finally find the right dentist and have now been with Dr. Fisher for the past 8. So many dentists perform unnecessary work, but Dr. Fischer does what's needed when it's needed. Our entire family of 5 gives 5 stars...they are the best!

Fantastic experience: My mother, who is 83 and about as deaf as a doorknob, was having pain so we came to Lone Tree Mondern Dentistry. The receptionist greeted us with a warm hello, and the dental assistant, Jay, kept a bright smile and relaxed sense of humor during the x-ray process that was challenging because my mom was having difficulty holding the apparatus still enough for clear images. Dr. Fischer did not come across warm and fuzzy. He had resting annoyed face with the voice of a stage producer who is tired of repetitive mistakes by the actors, but he is direct and efficient. There was no identifiable source of the pain but my mom was in desperate need of a cleaning. Luck would have it that an appointment was available in 15 minute and the staff was kind enough to let my mom, who has mobility issues, relax in the room she was in until we moved. Tracy and Brandy, the hygienists, tagged teamed to get my mom the cleaning she needed. Both were extraordinary considerate of my mom and as friendly as the rest of the staff. Our experience was wonderful, which I don't think many people say about the dentist. I highly recommend LTMD!

Negative experience: I wanted to share my experience with this clinic. I visited on 2/17/2025 after seeing an advertisement for a $59 package that included cleaning, X-rays, and more. I scheduled an appointment and went in, and overall, the staff— including the hygienist and doctor— was friendly. I had my X-rays and cleaning done, but when it came time to pay, I was charged nearly $250. When I asked why, they told me my cleaning was different, even though I had specifically asked over the phone what type of cleaning was included in the package. They assured me that as long as I had healthy gums, the price wouldn’t exceed $59, as it covered plaque removal. My oral health is good—I have some minor plaque, but nothing serious—so my cleaning should have been within the package scope. I don’t mind paying for services and value people’s time as I expect mine to be valued. However, I felt misled and scammed, as I wasn’t informed upfront about this pricing difference. Over the phone, they had said additional charges would only apply if I had gum disease, yet my experience was different. For anyone considering this clinic, be mindful of potential discrepancies to avoid a similar experience. That said, the staff and doctor were genuinely great.

Negative experience: I had an appointment for two weeks. Received a text asking to confirm my appointment and I responded according to the instructions to confirm. I get a text the day of my appointment saying my appointment was cancelled. So, that's irritating and super confusing. Called into the office and waitied forever on hold to talk to someone just to get put on hold for several more minutes just to be told my appointment had indeed been cancelled and that they filled the appointment and I'd need to reschedule... even though I confirmed the appointment. So, word to the wise, confirm your appointment with a person, because their systems don't work and there is no remorse or effort to wrong an internal error. I'm going to try and find another office.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming - from the front office to the hygienist assistant to the hygienist to the Doc. AND I loved that his adorable pup was visiting and came and stood by me during my final check with Dr. Fischer. It was a great experience! Everyone should have a support animal in a dentist's office! It's GENIUS!

Fantastic experience: I have been to a number of dentists in the past and unfortunately found a decent amount of them to be sketchy, always trying to overcharge me for unnecessary work or secretly up sell me etc. As bad as it sounds I sort of felt like a little old lady taking my car into the mechanic with a ‘weird noise’ and crossing my fingers in hopes that they didn’t try to screw me over. Anyways, I have been seeing these guys for several years now without a single problem and am honestly quite happy with their extremely friendly staff, the technology they use, and above all else their honesty and straightforward practices. Positive experience: I came in for a few fillings and a crown. The doctor seemed rushed but honestly I’ve never been to a dentist with more than one doctor so it wasn’t anything new. Although, he was pretty rude to the assistant that was helping him, she was new but still didn’t enjoy hearing him snap at her. There were a few problems numbing me and he was understanding and made sure I wasn’t in pain. But he did audibly voice is frustration about how the day was going and how he was frustrated, I didn’t enjoy feeling like I was a “problem” and him rushing to finish the work I paid quite a bit money for. In addition, the filling he finished and polished was much rougher than the one the assistant finished which was disappointing since I don’t want a half finished job on that could pose a problem later on. Overall not a horrible experience but could be a little more aware of what patients see and hear. They could also hire another doctor or stop over booking the current one so he doesn’t feel the need to give you mediocre service.

Negative experience: Never going back! My 20 son, who has regular cleanings and has NEVER had 1 cavity, tried Lone Tree Dental for a regular, new patient cleaning. They charged him for periodontic scaling, which is a major dental procedure and was not covered by insurance. My father-in-law is a retired dentist is beside himself. In his words, "THEY ARE CROOKS!"

Fantastic experience: I thought I had booked my mom a new patient appointment at another dentist office with a too similar name. It was a great mistake to make! The front office staff were exceptionally patient with us as we fumbled to get paperwork done. They do send it via email prior to the appointment date, so check-in can be quick, but my 80 year old mom didn't complete it. The support staff were incredibly helpful with my mom, who struggles with mobility and is nearly as hard of hearing as a dead oak tree. The kind assistant probably lost her voice yelling so my mom could hear her during x-rays. When my mom needed to rest between taking x-rays and the exam with the doctor, they didn't rush her a bit. The dentist was thorough and was patient to explain his findings a couple or three times, so my mom understood. On the way out, my mom, who is diabetic, was struggling with low blood sugar. One of the front office women was kind enough to give my mom a treat to help her feel better. (Don't tell anyone there was candy in a dentist's office. It's a secret.) If Lone Tree's Modern Dental & Orthodontics hadn't won us over with kind and compassionate service, a friendly atmosphere, and affable staff, there was George. George is a Hungarian Komondor who is the sweetest member of the staff and stole my heart with his first tail wag. I'm not a patient with Lone Tree Modern Dental, but after this experience with my mom, I will be soon!

Fantastic experience: As I‘ve gone to Modern Dental (previously Metro Dental) since moving here in 2008, and didn’t expect to be surprised. However yesterday before my old crown was removed a photo was taken using a small new wand. I could see in the photo where the porcelain had broken off the metal crown. Then after my damaged crown had been removed another new wand was used to take photos of my temporary crown and surrounding teeth. My new all porcelain crown will be 3D PRINTED from the photos. It’s amazing!

Fantastic experience: Always enjoy coming in for my cleanings. Office is bright & clean and the staff is SO kind. I couldn’t have found a better dentist to take over my care after moving from out of town.

Negative experience: I'm about to change dentists, mostly because Dr. Fischer brings his dog into the examination room, which is not hygienic. The dog's face was inches from mine while I was being examined and he smelled. Not sure why other patients in reviews say otherwise. Even if you like dogs, which I do, they do not belong at the dentist. I mentioned this in my satisfaction survey and saw the dog the next time. The entitlement of a dentist bringing a dog into his visits is very off putting as well. I guess if you want to see a dog at the dentist, this is the place for you.

Negative experience: **after 4 years of writing my original review my retainer broke, they don’t keep copies on file, if you want problem after problem then this is the place for you** I do not believe that this place is reviewed so highly. I went basically based off of review. I assume they offer a free service in exchange for a review and have their employees write great reviews about themselves. I personally can't stand this place. I wish I went to any other ortho possible. There's been no pleasant experience here. To get a hold of the ortho department you have to call over 10x. Then you get told you'll get a call back; which you wont. I've been trying to get a copy of my last invisalign aligners since February (it's July). I've tried to call 4x times today to schedule an appointment. No answer. Just tired of the AWFUL customer service. .........Finally got an appointment. Got impressions taken for a retainer.... Came to my next appointment for my retainer, waited for 30 minutes out in my car for them to text me to say to come in; they get me situated in the ortho chair and the rudest lady possible comes to say "I need payment or you need to reschedule" as if I've not been paying my bills or something. I told her that if they told me anything about having to pay last time then I would have had payment prepared; I literally left work with my ID, phone, keys, and mask - no source of payment. All she can say without asking anyone is "we did tell you last time". I've literally never seen this lady in my life. Maybe they should offer monthly payments instead of sporadic payments that not even their office knows when are supposed to be paid. I've paid $5,300 out of $,5700 for the invisalign on which the treatment is not complete. Why did I suddenly have to pay when I've never been asked to before?! I can't stress enough that if you are looking for an ortho and hoping for a pleasant experience. DON'T GO HERE!

Tracy (sp?) is a wonderful hygienist and really takes the time to get to know her patients and make a connection with them. Dr. Fischer has always been friendly and efficient as well. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to these guys for a couple of years now, but never needed anything outside of the normal X-rays and cleanings. Today they were very accommodating of my emergency. The doctor was forthright. Amanda , the assistant was conscientious to explain how much things would cost, and each step of the procedure, and future treatment plans. Going to the dentist is no fun, but they made it as good as it gets!

Fantastic experience: I hate the dentist, so much so I’ve avoided going for 10 years or so. I finally had a tooth break and knew it was time to get it taken care of. I went to see Lone Tree Modern and everyone was great. Dr Fischer was very aware of my dental fears and we talked a little bit about it. I was able to get a cleaning and a crown. I hardly felt any pain just a little discomfort which is to be expected. If you like dogs there is also George who helps calm the fears. (He doesn’t smell). If you’re nervous about going to the dentist just go it’s not as bad as you think!

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Best dental care. Ever since I came to this office I have felt valued as a patient. The level of service here is superior. The emergency and routine services are both great.

Negative experience: I have been going to this dental practice since the original dentist started it many years ago (around 2004). I have stayed on as a patient when they sold it to the current owners. There were many red flags from the start, however, I stayed thinking things would get better. Well, they have not and it got worse. Every time I would go, they would find something that needed to be done which I found odd. Nonetheless, I was going along with their opinions while spending thousands of dollars over a few years. I feel that there is a competency issue with Dr. Fischer. I have lost all faith and trust in this practice. The final straw was the Dr. Fischer bringing his large smelly dog into the examination room while working on my teeth. So unprofessional. I had to finally find a new dentist to correct some of the work that was done at this practice incorrectly. They have a 'F' rating on BBB. You have been warned!

Negative experience: I am surprised that they have such a good rating, They used to be good when they were next to safeway, but I think they don't probably like non-white people anymore... I have sent several appointment requests via email with zero response over last 6-8 months and have tried calling several times to get an orthodontic appointment but have not been successful. On my last visit, the dental higenist was super rude to me for apparently no reason and didn't even offer to book the next appointment. My wife had a similar experience during her appointment. I think its their way of saying don't come to us anymore. Point received!! I don't know what I did to them, but I'm really glad they are not the only option. I had been using them for several years, but things definitely changed post covid.. Good luck to these guys, they will need it. :(

They've done some minor cosmetic work on a couple chipped, misshapen teeth I was self-conscious about. And, at a very reasonable price out-of-pocket. Fantastic experience: This staff is truly incredible! My husband and I both had not been to a dentist for some time due to life getting in the way with the pandemic and layoffs and moving and finances. The staff was understanding and patient and informative and did not make us feel uncomfortable or judged. They were workable to our schedules as service industry workers. The office is clean and modern. The desk staff is friendly and helpful. My teeth have never been so happy. We are so glad to have found our go-to dental office. Top notch!

Positive experience: I have been to see the dentist at this office, and was treated very well, however, the follow-up is that once every day, they will send you a text or an email asking you to confirm your appointment, and if you don’t have time to answer those amidst your busy day, they will call you, to confirm that you will be there. That isn’t necessarily bad, but they do it with a lot of attitude, and I have enough of that in my life without getting it from my dentist, I don’t need an adversarial relationship with my dentist. I will be looking for other dentists who are not quite so confrontational.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t have had a better experience at a dentist’s office! From checking in to checking out it was wonderful and the staff was friendly. Both Tracy and Dr. Fischer were very personable and Tracy did an awesome job with my cleaning! Can’t wait to go back!

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional staff. I love Modern Dental in Fort Collins, CO, but this location is awful. I needed to cancel an appointment due to double booking, but the front desk lady was extremely rude and told me I never had an appointment there and she couldn't help me. I called the location in Fort Collins, and they were able to pull up Lone Tree's schedule within seconds - sadly they could not cancel the appointment for me though. I called again to inform them I DID have an appointment, as I previously stated, and the front desk lady interrupted me telling me I was wrong again. She finally asked a manager for help and found my appointment, but it took her arguing with me about me even having an appointment before she got help. I currently have a filling that is bothering me, and I decided to give this location another chance so I didn't have to drive to Fort Collins and I had the same awful interaction. The front desk lady told me her dentist wouldn't look at another dentists work and that there was no location in Fort Collins. I asked for a manager because I didn't want to go through this same cycle, but the manager simply said that she was new and that was the disconnect. She did not acknowledge how rude the front desk lady was and instead implied I was in the wrong. I haven't even had dental work here, but I am honestly dumb founded at their rude employees. Horrible customer service.

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars I would! My parents have been attending this dentist office for over 15+ years, when it sold and my mother had issues with a tooth, they completely messed it up multiple times. When she went back to get it replaced (for the third time) Dr. Fisher put the wrong color in. She went back for a FOURTH time for the same issue and he said your problem, not mine and left the room. Hard to put into words the absolute level of disrespect from the doctor. My mom left in tears. ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST AND OFFICE. They will take your deposit and not do good or correct work. At the very least, I expect people to have a human level of respect. Not the case- can't warn people enough of this office. Needless to say we are on a search for a new dentist ASAP!

Fantastic experience: I was not looking forward to my annual dental visit, but I am so glad I went as I had a great experience. Angelina my dental hygienist did an excellent job with my dental cleaning that I barely felt any pain at all. The entire staff that I interacted with were great. I will now look forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: I went in recently for a cleaning after a couple years working overseas. My mouth was wretched!The team took great care of me. I forgot the name of the gal that cleaned my teeth but she was really nice and gave me a couple new tips to maintain my oral hygiene and keep tartar from building on my teeth. The front desk personnel were nice too. The price was cheap as well!

Negative experience: Update: SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. I quit going here due to incompetent dentists. Unfortunately I returned to have them service a crown they did that was the ultimate reason I stopped seeing Dr. Chan. It had fallen out after only 2 years and had to be "fixed" multiple times after the initial setting. They told me that they would take a look to see if it would be guaranteed when I got there. I made it very clear, multiple times, that if there were going to be a charge associated with re-cementing the crown that I would like to know so I could just go to my current dentist. When I arrived they went to take X-rays which made me nervous so I had the assistant clarify with the front desk that they would not be charging for the X-rays. I was told they would cover them. Fast forward to leaving and I was told I would be charged an exam fee, X-ray fee and for the re-cementing of the crown. Understandably I was upset about this and questioned it. I was then told that they would cover the X-ray fee as promised...IF insurance didn't cover it! They were going to (and now have) bill my insurance for a service they said they would cover and not even tell me. VERY deceitful and I will never be back. Not to mention the massively arrogant dentists and the beyond-rude office manager who incredibly snottily and with a fake voice said "Have a nice day!" when I told her to just send me a bill. Gross.

Fantastic experience: Lone Tree has been my families dentist of choice for years. The staff is amazing and always courteous and helpful. The hygienist is the best and really does a nice job. The Dentist is top notch and she really cares about her patients.

Fantastic experience: My experience was wonderful, Dr. Fisher was very helpful & determined to get my wisdom tooth out, it was a daunting task but managed to get it. The staff was very lovely and welcoming, I highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely be using & seeing them in the future!

Negative experience: BEWARE of the good reviews on this business (probably encouraged by a company marketing scheme). Read the NEGATIVE reviews posted as they seem to have consistency in the horrible customer service, up-charging, and billing issues their clients have had. Additional details: My wife had dental work done in the amount of $4845.00 that we paid in full on a credit card per their payment plan provided. She was told that additional work was still needed at additional high cost. It seemed again very costly, so she checked with other area Dentists. The work was not necessary, she completed future dental work and cleanings at a reliable company. There are many good dentists in the area, it is worth checking them out! After the payment plan was paid and completed, an additional $59.00 charge was added later to the credit card, the office told her it was in error and would be credited. It was not. A call later to the office confirmed the charge would be removed from the credit card. It was not. The $59.00 was disputed and removed by the credit card company since there was no response from this company with the documentation submitted. Again, this unauthorized charge was added to the credit card and again removed due to no response. Then, additional $59 billings were mailed by this company. This unauthorized charge would have been paid if it was due and explained. Calls to the office were ignored and no return calls received after messages were left for the billing department. It was not paid due to no response and a bill that was not due according to all documentation. Instead, this company referred the $59 to a collection agency. It’s amazing the stupidness and time/cost spent trying to collect this additional $59 without any communication whatsoever and causing another negative review to be written. Just communicate and they would have received their $59 if it was a legitimate charge. They probably also don’t know what this additional charge is. An “Owner Response” will not change anything to this business’s lack of professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem with a crown that had fallen out and the earliest opening wasn't until the next day.  Gabby informed she would contact me if anything happened to open up in the meantime.  A short time later, Gabby called and informed she was able to get me in later that same day instead of having me wait until the following day. Raphael fixed my crown issue in no time and he was very professional, friendly and courteous the entire visit.  In addition, I had a cleaning appointment that was over a month away.  When Raphael heard this, he searched and was able to find me an appointment for the following week, much earlier than my original appointment. As I was driving home, Gabby contacted me and informed they just had a cancelation and she was able to schedule my cleaning appointment for the very next day.  Many times people are told they will be contacted if an appointment opens at a later date and time and then it's forgotten, out of sight-out of mind. Well, I can definitely say that's not the case with Gabby and Lone Tree Modern Dental & Orthodontics. Ann Marie is the Patient Coordinator.  She has always been very helpful and friendly every time I've had any contact with her in person, or on the phone.  She is a great person and asset for Lone Tree Modern Dental & Orthodontics and for their patients. Nicole works in the billing department. She helped me with a big billing mixup related to the office and my insurance company.  Nicole continued working on it until the issue was resolved.  Huge relief and greatly appreciated! Dr. Paul Hamersky has been the Orthodontist for all three of my kids over the years.  Not only is he a great Orthodontist, he's also very friendly and personable.  I have always enjoyed our conversations over the years and the amazing dental work he's done for my kids. Last, but definitely not least, Dr. James Fischer is one of the best dentists I have ever had.  His work and recommendations for me have been exceptional each and every time.  He did some extensive dental work on me and the results were phenomenal!  He is always friendly and concerned with any issues I might have. He is not only a very talented Doctor, but a great person as well. All that being said, I would highly recommend cor anyone to go to Lone Tree Modern Dental & Orthodontics for any dental needs you might ever have.  A big thank you goes out to everyone at Lone Tree Modern Dental & Orthodontics!

Negative experience: I went in my first time for a cleaning and x-rays. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The hygienist was so thorough and explained everything she did ever step of the way, and why. I think I definitely found my new dentist office. Update April 2021: Though my first cleaning and x-rays went well, my second time was not so great. I ended up having to get a crown...I was given a price which I paid part of when making the appt. I then got the temporary crown, and during the procedure, the dentist drilled on my top tooth without my consent. I then paid the rest and asked if that would be it. I was assured it was paid in full. When I went back three weeks later to get my permanent crown, it was a horrible fit. They fixed some of it, but the outside part of it is way different than the tooth on other side. Not sharp at all. On top of that, when I went to leave, they charged me more money, though she had told me before that it was fully paid. A couple of weeks later, I was sent another bill...for what, I do not know. In a nutshell , the billing department is untruthful, the crown is the wrong shape, and one of my teeth were weirdly drilled on without prior consent. I could have dealt with some of it, but this random latest bill sent to me after I have paid three times already for one procedure definitely is the last straw. Post-Covid, not a great place anymore, unfortunately.

Negative experience: My family and I used this dentist and Ortho for many years. The Ortho doc and staff is phenomenal. The dental ownership seems to have changed hand some years ago. My experience has been quite terrible since that time. Feels like the focus is on upselling and revenue generation. I was recently sent a collections letter for a bill that I have already paid twice. Spent hours on the phone sorting out their billing mess. A complete cluster of an experience. Fortunately I have CC payment record and was able to push back. I like to use a dentist office that focuses on my well being, fair business practices and good service. That is not my experience at Lone Tree Dental. Does anyone know of a good dentist office?

Negative experience: The good - Always had good interactions with the front desk staff and hygienists. Not so good - One of my first appointments was to get a crown replaced on a front tooth that has an existing root canal. When I came in for the first appointment in this process, they numbed me and then realized their compressor was not working, so they had to send me home and I came back later that day to be re-numbed / have the procedure done. It was an honest mistake on their part, so no huge deal, but it wasn't very enjoyable. About a year after that incident I went in for a routine cleaning and they recommended 3 different actions to be taken: 2 filling repairs and 1 crown on a tooth that had a slight crack in it. I had to cancel the appointment for these procedures due to some COVID concerns, but then decided I would seek a second opinion on the work recommended. After getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion from two different dentists, both confirmed that they agreed with one of the filling repairs but did not agree with the other or the crown. Both also said that the crown on my front tooth (replaced by Lone Tree) wasn't great and that it may need to be replaced sooner rather than later. They said this wasn't for cosmetic reasons but because the crown was not a great fit and may be trapping food close to the gums. I totally understand that dentistry is subjective and people can have different opinions on work that needs to be done. I wasn't pleased with the quality of dental work from Lone Tree (cleanings were fine) and was also disappointed that they recommended a crown on a tooth that two other dentists don't think is necessary. A crown is a big deal and I felt misled to a treatment I did not need. I don't doubt that plenty of people have good experiences at Lone Tree, but I just wanted to add my experience for consideration as well.

Fantastic experience: Sweetest office staff ever!! I had to bring my 5 month old baby to my dental appointment because.... life happens. The office staff and dentist took turns holding her. They were SO kind and understanding. Also, great, very gentle dentistry. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: I've been a client for about 4 years, and I've followed them to their new location when they moved. Over the course of the four years I've seen three different doctors. Not my favorite to have a rotating door of inconsistent doctors. I had a cavity filled about 3 years ago and I have had nothing but trouble with food getting stuck between the two teeth because the one tooth that was ground out and repaired was never shaped correctly. I could have it redone they said but I have to make an entire another appointment and each time that it gets redone more of the real tooth gets ground down as well. so now I just have to forever be struggling with making sure that that pocket is thoroughly cleaned out. Went in for my appointment today and arrived 15 minutes early but wasn't seen until my actual appointment time which wouldn't have been a problem but other people were pulling up and walking right in with no wait time. I was told it was because my technician was not ready with the room. She had no patients prior to me. When I sat down for my appointment they checked my blood pressure. I've never had my blood pressure checked for a cleaning before. They said it was in case of a medical emergency during my procedlures. Again, just there for a cleaning. Then I was told I needed new x-rays. I wasn't notified beforehand and I honestly did not have the time. I told them I would be more than happy to have it done on my next appointment but I was not notified before this appointment to do it. I also just didn't want to spend the extra money on having X-Rays done. She said she had to ask the doctor. After having asked the doctor she came back and said that the doctor said it's been too long since my last set of X-rays and they needed to be done today. Keep in mind my last set of X-rays were completed November of 2019, it is currently February 2021 so not even a full 2 years. All of this was honestly a huge turnoff and rubbed me the wrong way. A client has the right to refuse x-rays. And having not been notified beforehand is a big annoyance of mine. Communication is everything to me. The attitude coming from the technician when I told her no thank you, I'll just cancel my appointment, was the cherry on top. Their office and technician bedside manner needs serious retraining. I will not be coming back nor will my family.

Fantastic experience: Just had an AMAZING experience with Lone Tree Modern Dental! They were able to get all of my kiddos in for a cleaning (the first dental appt for my kids). The staff is beyond friendly and so patient with my boys. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Negative experience: I started off with great care at the start of last year, but it turned for the worse when I came under Dr. Fisher's care. Bad communication on billing, double billing in my last appointment and inability to be up front with the entire cost of what needed to happen when it came to a root canal. Worst off, they will not address these issues when I bring it up with them. It's heart breaking because I really liked and trusted this place.
