Fantastic experience: This practice was amazing everyone was so kind, and gentle. I got a cleaning done by Jenn who was the sweetest. And Dr. Kyle and Amanda did a composite bonding on my two front teeth. I fell asleep during, it was so quick and painless lol. I definitely recommend this office and will be back!

Fantastic experience: I did have to wait a considerable amount of time, but they had another situation arise that needed attention so no big deal. This office offers some great amenities that I would consider above and beyond a regular dental office. This would be a great place for people with anxiety around dental work. What I was most impressed with was Dr. Wilhelm herself. She was very professional and shook my hand when we met. She listened to my concerns and it seemed like she genuinely cared. Her evaluation was great, and the solution to my problem is going to save me from the $4,000 quote I got from another office with a $50 procedure. That in itself is a huge relief to me. I have been through the ringer trying to find and honest dentist, it's nice to have finally met one I feel like I can trust.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist can be stressful. But not here! The staff is wonderful and does whatever they can to ensure patient comfort. I saw Dr. Wilhelm, Jennifer, and Anna. All were fabulous!!! I've been looking for a new dentist for a couple years now and I'm so thankful I found Canyon View!!

Negative experience: They used to be great. I loved Dr. McCallum and her staff, and their approach to anxiety. My last cleaning I came in and had an extremely terrible assistant. I’ve never had such a bad cleaning. And then a dentist I had never met came in. No one ever mentioned that I had scheduled with anyone other than Dr. McCallum. As someone with some dental anxiety, this was not okay with me, especially after the experience I had just had with the assistant (who apparently lost the end of the tool and just continued without it). I had built trust and comfort here. I had a dental office where I felt safe. Now I am overdue and anxious not wanting to find a new dentist again. Update to add: This account is under my maiden name, so it won’t align with their records. I gave the office feedback at the time. I literally said at the end of my appointment to make a note to “never allow that dental assistant in my mouth again” because it was so terrible.

Fantastic experience: I want to publicly thank Dr. Kyle and his team at Canyon View Dentistry for their care and professionalism when I had a very painful dental emergency. I am terrified of going to the dentist but when I had an infection under my tooth I had no choice, my regular dentist only does extractions once a month and the oral surgeon was too expensive but I found Canyon View Dentistry on a Nextdoor post and they already had wonderful reviews. I called, explained my situation and they were able to see me the next day. Dr. Kyle and his team were very sympathetic to my fear and my pain and took the time to explain my opinions and clearly laid out the cost upfront. They were able to extract the tooth on the spot and my relief was almost immediate, I have never had such a positive experience in my life and I will definitely go to them in the future! Because of them I was able to enjoy the food at my daughter’s wedding without pain, thank you Dr. Kyle!!

Dr. Hibinger was accommodating to the anxieties that come with dental appointments. He checked in multiple times during our time to make sure that I was doing okay and to see if I needed a break. A blanket and pillow was also provided to me while I was in the back. Overall, excellent care from everyone in the office.

Fantastic experience: Having relocated recently I was nervous finding a new dentist, but my entire experience at Canyon View put me at ease. From the moment I walked in, the front desk team were warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind. They made check-in easy and pleasant, and you can tell they genuinely care about the patients whether new or returning! The assistants were also just as great! They were very attentive, making sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. My appointment was with Dr. Kyle who was truly amazing!! He was kind, patient, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to carefully explain everything even though it was just a new patient exam/cleaning, and never made me feel rushed. Negative experience: So disappointed. I came here because of the high ratings and claims of helping patients with dental anxiety. I’ve struggled with severe dental phobia since childhood, and only began taking proper care of my teeth two years ago. Unfortunately, the damage was already done, and now I need extensive work. My first visits and one emergency extraction were surprisingly positive. The staff was kind, patient, and made me feel safe. But over time, I noticed the staff (aside from the kind front desk team) kept changing. For someone with anxiety, building trust with a consistent provider matters. Still, I adjusted. I loved the dentist I saw in Dec 2024 and Feb 2025—she was amazing. But at my next visit in June, she was gone too. My 3:40 PM appointment started with a 15-minute wait in the lobby, then another 15 alone in a chair before a hygienist came for X-rays. She didn’t use a protective bib and dismissed my request for child-size bite wings—then hurt me trying to force in adult ones. I was already anxious and just wanted it over with. After X-rays, I waited another 25 minutes. Then a dentist I’d never met, Dr. Kyle, came in. I was too worn down from waiting to complain. I told him about some crown discomfort and was open about my dental history and progress. After 45 minutes of painful tests on 8 teeth, he claimed my front bridge was leaking and needed to be replaced. Yet my discomfort was from the right side, not the left. Finally, he began cleaning my teeth. I asked how things looked overall after my routine improvements like switching from fluoride toothpaste to nano-hydroxyapatite and instead of answering, he got visibly irritated and almost angry that I was using something “non-traditional.” His attitude shifted, and his cleaning felt rushed and aggressive. He never answered the question about how my teeth looked. Afterward, he said the hygienist would return to polish/floss, but I waited again, now extremely uncomfortable. While sitting there, I ran my tongue over my teeth and noticed a sharp new chip. I know my teeth well, this was definitely new. That discovery sent me into a full panic. No one noticed. I called my husband in tears, saying, “They broke my tooth, and I don’t want them touching me.” He came in, helped me calm down, and looked at the tooth. Still, no staff acknowledged me. Eventually, a financial advisor came with a $2500 quote for a bridge redo. I told her my discomfort, mentioned the new chip, and said I’d see the original dentist before agreeing to anything. She asked if I wanted to speak to the office manager. I said yes. Blake, not sure if owner or manager, came in and started damage control. He claimed Dr. Kyle just removed "built-up calcium" from a cavity. I don’t even know if that’s true. I explained my biggest issue was the lack of care and excessive wait time. I’d taken time off work and driven an hour for a facility that claimed to understand patients like me. This visit made it worse. Blake said he also has dentalphobia and suggested morning appointments so I’d be “prioritized better.” I told him I just wanted to finish and leave. He was surprised I still hadn’t been polished/flossed. The hygienist came in to finish. For the wait, I got a Chick-fil-A card (I’m vegetarian, so thanks but no thanks). I left after 6 PM. The office closes at 6. The next day, I saw my original dentist. She took child-sized X-rays, tested gently, and said my bridge was in great condition. If it wasn’t, she would’ve replaced it for free. Her practice isn’t “for dentalphobics”, she’s just kind and respectful. The whole exam took under 45 minutes. As someone with dentalphobia, how could you think this visit was okay? A nearly 3-hour cleaning, painful and inconsistent care, long waits, and new damage? I wont be back. I hope this review reminds you how to truly support patients with anxiety, and that compassion is more meaningful than a chicken sandwich coupon. Patients shouldn’t have to miss more work or reschedule just to avoid poor time management. Or don’t overbook. Now I understand the constant staff turnover.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service and business. I was flying to Colorado from Chicago. I’m an established patient and had good experiences in the past. My flight got cancelled and I’m not getting in till 2am because of storms. I called and texted to change the time and they told me I’d be charged a cancellation fee and that I’d have to schedule a new appointment… I just wanted to shift it to later than 8am, since I probably won’t lay down till 4am, or another day if they couldn’t do that. Just a total lack of understanding and human decency. You can allow for extenuating circumstances to affect your policy. Never going there again.

Fantastic experience: I had an urgent issue with my very back molar. Was having problems with some pain and during my lunch it broke off. UGH!!!!! I take good care of my teeth and was mortified to be holding my molar. My wife called Canyan View Dentistry and they couldn’t be more helpful! Made an appointment immediately and I was on the way to get it addressed. My first time at the beautiful dental facility and the staff were incredible. I was taken to the procedure chair and the technician, Stephanie, was reassuring. She could sense my nervousness. I met Dr Kyle and he was also terrific. Dr Kyle explained all of my choices to address my broken molar. He was knowledgeable making me feel more at ease. Really thankful to be in the hands of this good team. It’s never fun to have a procedure on a broken tooth. Stephanie and Dr Kyle made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. I’d strongly recommend Canyan View Dentistry. Really grateful for taking good care of me!

As an RN myself you can tell Dr. Jacob knows exactly what he’s doing and cares about your oral health. I usually don’t like going to the dentist, however this was a great experience. As soon as you walk in you can tell how hard they try to keep it clean and nice. I get the sense the staff like their place of employment. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was dealing with a tooth ache on a Friday afternoon before a big trip I was scheduled to take. They were able to squeeze me in, identify the problem, and quickly resolve.

Negative experience: First time to this dentist. Kept me waiting 20+ minutes for appointment, then insisted on taking more X-rays when they could not find the x-rays I personally sent them. (The X-rays had taken 2 weeks prior.) Snobby front counter: condescending attitude. No apologies, no trying to find them - just insisting on doing them again. Do not waste your time and money here! Fantastic experience: Listen. No one likes the dentist. At Canyon View they really do go above and beyond to make the experience right. You need a crown, they are going to explain that, you need more surgery, they are going to explain and refer and work with you on a workable treatment plan. They know the insurance game and how to maximize your benefits and keep us smiling. From the Doctors, to the tecs, to the front desk staff. The whole team is top notch. I mean, where else are you going to go for random acts of kindness like wishing strangers a good day, to literal belly laughs at the front desk?? Your dental work probably sucks, and it’s more expensive than you want, but at Canyon View, you know you are in good kind hands.

Negative experience: I’d like to start off by saying that I hate confrontation and have never in my life left a review like this. I used the glowing reviews of this office to make my decision on booking with them, and I’m heartbroken that my experiences did not match the others seen here. I chose this office in Nov 2024 specifically because they advertise themselves as a supportive place for anxious patients. I spent a lot of time reviewing every doctor’s bio on their website and made a deliberate decision to book with Dr. Mcallum, who seemed like the best fit for my needs. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk staff asked if it was okay for me to see Dr. Line instead. I told them no—I had specifically chosen Dr. Mcallum for a reason and would like to see her. They said they understood… but when I was called back, they sent in Dr. Line anyway. No explanation, no follow-up—just total disregard for my preference as a patient. Being as anxious as I was, it took everything in me just to walk through the door that day, so I stayed quiet and went through with the exam with Dr. Line. Dr. Line clearly has more of a focus on cosmetic work, not anxiety-informed care, and she presented me with a massive treatment plan—crowns, multiple fillings, and two root canals, one of which was allegedly so complex it needed a specialist. I moved forward with treatment, deciding to just start chipping away at the treatment plan little by little . At my first procedure, a root canal with nitrous oxide to calm my nerves, Dr. Line accidentally burned my lip with a hot tool. Yes, accidents happen, and she was extremely apologetic—but imagine waiting years to seek out dental care due of fear of pain, only to walk out of the office with a literal blister on my face. Even after that, I returned for more work, just trying to get through it and take care of my teeth. Aside from them having me scheduled for the wrong restorations, that visit went okay. It was reinforced again that one of my teeth required a specialist root canal, and I was again referred to an endodontist not even in my insurance network, which created another headache and prolonged me receiving care. Eventually, I found a new dentist closer to home—someone who could do advanced procedures in-office. And that’s when I learned the full extent of how bad this experience was: not only do I not need the complex root canal they referred me out for, but the root canal Dr. Line already performed? Also completely unnecessary. I was willing to move on and just focus on my care moving forward—until today, when I received a surprise $350 bill from Canyon View for a balance “over 90 days old”. This was the first time I’d heard anything about this charge. No previous statements, no phone calls, no contact at all—just a random demand for immediate payment, months after I stopped going there. Over two appointments, I paid over $800 out of pocket here because I believed I was doing the right thing for my health. Instead, I ended up traumatized, financially drained, and stuck dealing with the fallout of treatment I didn’t even need. Please get a second opinion before you commit to anything here.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff across the board and Dr. Tran was very thorough and provided step-by-step explanations of what was happening. The treatment going forward was laid out very clearly, and I was provided the financial details to plan accordingly which was great.
