Negative experience: Had work here before no issues BUT THIS LAST TIME... no good! After being called inside to the chair for a "cleaning ONLY" they REFUSED my annual cleaning just because I said no to Xrays??? Repeat.... I was denied service of a CLEANING because I said no to having xrays taken. Which we all know is MORE MONEY from our Insurance Company! Very disappointed!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr. J. Racanelli, I was hesitant to do my treatment because in the past I had a very bad experience that I was rather to loose my tooth instead of going through that again, but Dr. Jhoseph said that my tooth was good for a crown and can be save it, everything since the bigging was good I didn't have any pain Dr Racanelli is very patient very knowledgeable and he love what he is doing he is amazing, every one at this place is very nice.

Negative experience: I’m writing this as the husband of a patient who had a very disturbing experience at Somerset Dental Care. My wife went in for a crown. The crown was never properly completed or permanently placed. It was temporarily cemented, incorrectly fitted, repeatedly adjusted, and eventually fractured during adjustment. She refused to accept a broken crown and left the office without any crown. Her out-of-pocket payment was refunded at the time. Despite this, the office billed her insurance for a completed crown, which has caused weeks of stress, endless phone calls, and unnecessary emotional and physical pain while she remains untreated. She has been passed from person to person with no accountability, receiving conflicting information and no resolution. What’s most upsetting is not just the billing issue, but the lack of care and compassion shown to a patient who was clearly in pain. The focus appeared to be on insurance billing rather than patient wellbeing. I would strongly caution others to carefully review their treatment and insurance claims if considering this office.

Negative experience: I had a very upsetting experience with Somerset Dental Care. They charged my insurance for a crown that was never done at their office, without my consent or any right to do so. This is completely unacceptable and unethical. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was passed from one person to another with no real help or accountability. No one seemed to care about the stress, time, or pain this situation has caused me. Instead of helping a patient who is actively in pain, their focus appears to be on billing insurance and collecting money, not patient care. Because of their actions, my time has been wasted and I am still left in pain with no solution. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for honest billing practices or compassionate care.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff here are so kind. From the receptionist, assistants, hygienists and of course Dr. Disney. I was really nervous going in, but everyone was very reassuring and thorough!

She is very gentle when cleaning your teeth and is great at answering and explaining what she is doing. She is very friendly and makes a person like me (who gets nervous to go to the dentist) very calm during the process. Dr. Brown was excellent and super nice too. They not only are amazing at their jobs but are wonderful people as well. They make sure I’m comfortable and not in pain and they even laugh at my bad jokes.

Negative experience: As usual anytime you have a cleaning, the focus isn't to clean your teeth. The focus is to find reasons for the dentist to charge you lots of money in doing implants for teeth that aren't bothering, x-ray says the teeth is fine, and don't matter. They would make up nonsense reasons for you to spend thousands of dollars fixing teeth thatnothing is wrong with it, just to give you clearance for knee surgery. Been thru this twice with these guys, it won't happen a third time.

They explain everything well, answer all questions until you’re satisfied. hours and making appointments is easy. Costs are discussed prior to making appointments. Recent issue with my statement was well taken care of. Excellent!

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist office, they clearly know what they’re doing. Very time efficient and I never feel any sort of pain. With my old dentist a simple cleaning would cause me pain, meanwhile here I almost fell asleep, I was very relaxed and happy I could trust them with a simple cleaning.

Fantastic experience: As always, my recent experience with Dental Care Somerset was positive. Dr Adjei and dental hygienist, Brenda, were great. I have used this dental practice for multiple dental needs over the past several years, from extractions and implants to regular cleaning. Every dentist and dental hygienist has been excellent, and a comprehensive treatment plan with detailed costs is provided and explained prior to treatment. Options are also discussed. The entire staff is friendly and very professional, including the front desk staff. I highly recommend this practice for all dental needs.

I had a bad experience with the other location in Bridgewater and she was so very kind about what had happened to me and wanted to make things better. I never miss an appt bcs their CRM constantly reminds you of the appt (which I need or I'll forget). The support staff is wonderful and the Dentists are personable 10/10 recommend.

Negative experience: Hygienist was great. Dentist reviewed my X-rays and told me I needed to replace a filling in a tooth that had no filling. When I said I didn’t remember a filing there and we looked at X-ray together he back tracked. He also said other teeth needed replacement fillings. My confidence is zero. My dentist keeps changing at Somerset Dental. I am thinking of finding another dental office.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a check up after 4 years (yes, I know). Naturally I had a lot of cavities that needed to be filled. The team there was so nice and accommodating. I got excellent service from Michelle, Mackenzie, Megan and Dr. Ziobro. I definitely will be coming back here every six months for my check-ups!

Negative experience: I have great praise for the staff, their kindness and efficiency. So it is with regret that I must report that my dental experience over the past two years has been an oh so sorry saga. I had an implant on a front tooth and the placement of the crown required at least three or four follow up visits over the course of 2-3 months before they got it right. The flipper was uncomfortable, and the absence of the tooth so long resulted in two other teeth shifting,creating a gap between my eye tooth and the one behind it It’s more than a food trap. It’s a definite gap. Next, I had a tooth extracted on the other side of my mouth and now my bite is way off in spite of several visits trying to correct it . So now I have two annoying problems. Your office offered to correct the gap by crowning my eye Tooth to the cost of over $1000. Given my experience with the previous work done by your office,I think it’s time for me to find another dentist

Fantastic experience: This dental office changed my perspective on going to the dentist, I now enjoy visiting the dentist. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. The dental hygienist was very delicate and careful with my sensitive teeth. I learned more than I ever knew about my teeth and will be returning.

Negative experience: Two years ago I had $5000 worth of crowns put in. I was very happy with the work done. I paid my bill in full before I left the office. Six months later I received a bill that was that was 6 months overdue. Upon calling the office I was told that was a mistake. A 6 month old mistake I was only just finding out about. A year later one of the crowns came loose and I returned to have it cemented back in place. I had x-rays taken and the dentist looked at them for less than a minute before telling me I had an infection in the tooth and that the crown could not be secured without extensive work being done. That would cost me another $5000, and involved destroying 2 unbroken healthy teeth. They wouldn't even look at the loose crown until I paid in full. The crown they put in. So I left and went to another dentist. No x-rays, the dentist wiggled my crown with his fingers, pulled it off, put some goo in it and held it in place for about 30 seconds. Then he told me to have a good day. Whole process took less than 10 minutes and cost me $20 in copay. Don't go here without doing some of your own research first, and then only if you have no other options. Update: Less than two hours after posting the review I received a call from the office, not because they audited themselves and found a mistake, but only because of the review. I was told I should have been given options, even though I wasn't given any choices during the 20 minute discussion I had at the time with their treatment planner. I asked if the dentist that did what I asked was wrong or a bad dentist and they wouldn't say no, but definitely implied that he was. Best part is, they tried to coerce me into coming back by saying that they should have taken care of it for free since they did the work, 0 does not equal the paid in full $5k they demanded to even look at it. They said if I don't get it fixed by them then I would have to pay full price to get it done somewhere else. Completely ignoring that I already got it fixed, for $20. I asked about the other one star reviews that share a similar experience to the one I had, and they said people are confusing their office with another one and they are waiting for google to clear it up. No accountability, no responsibility, super shady practice.

Negative experience: Terrible experience at Somerset Dental Care! They bombarded me with texts about my appointment, but when I showed up, it didn't exist. The staff was rude and unhelpful, refusing to fix their mistake. Total waste of time. This is not the first time this has happened either. In December they cancelled my appointment due to their staff being on vacation.

Negative experience: I have been going to this office for years. I really liked it the staff and dentists are excellent. However their billing department is a nightmare. I had a procedure done over a year ago, they were supposed to bill my insurance and never did, they never told the office staff, and then sent me to collections. No warning, no phone call, no email, nothing just sent me to collections. I had gone to the office 4 times since that procedure no one said I owed any money. According to the office I was up to date. If I owed I would have paid it or straightened it out with insurance. Then when I got the collections notice the billing department gave me the run around, clearly something happened and I wasn't billed right and instead of just apologizing and allowing me to pay them, they sent me to collections! This is not the treatment I was expecting considering how great the office is. I will not be going back to this dentist. Dental work is expensive enough, and to have to pay extra because of a simple mistake that could have been fixed and cost me nothing, is just too much. If someone just called me a month after the procedure, it all would have been fine. This is really unacceptable. I'm sorry to have to find another dentist but I can't afford to deal with this billing department.

Fantastic experience: I was recently seen by Dr Couzo for an emergency appointment. He was professional, thorough, calm and walked me through the entire procedure while in the chair. Before proceeding, he offered two solutions and gave me the opportunity to make an informed decision. His assistant Margie was great - warm and professional. I recommend seeing them both! Previously my son was see by Dr Aziz. He was kind and helpful with my toddler!

Fantastic experience: There was a time when I used to dread going to the Dentist's Office for my routine cleaning but not since I moved to Somerset and found this Clinic. It is phenomenal the way you experience care, professionalism and concern for your dental health and I come back always happy and looking forward to my next visit. That care, concern and professionalism is now all the more enhanced to ensure your safety and health during this Covid crisis time with the use of anti-viral rinses, face shields, direct car to patient contact room features. I didn't have an ounce of fear or concern today when I had my routine cleaning done and as before came back home happy, smiling and looking forward to my next appointment two months away. I highly recommend this Dental Care center for anyone living in and around Somerset and honestly even worth it for anyone outside of this area.

They go the extra mile to make sure your dental hygiene is in tip top shape. Take it from someone who stayed away from seeing a dentist for more years that I am embarrassed to say. After my treatments at Dental Care Somerset, I am back on track. Do yourself a favor if you were like me, give them a try...you'll be thankful and you will wind up grinning from ear to ear!

Negative experience: This place is a SCAM!! Avoid at all costs. They told my wife she needed over $10,000 in dental work AFTER insurance. They were charging like $800/filling?? Not to mention they said she needed three root canals. Low and behold we got a second opinion and they said they didn’t need any root canals, just a few fillings. They quoted her only $650. Clearly they just try to force people to get procedures they don’t actually need and inflate the prices massively.

Negative experience: When I first came in I was paying out of pocket and felt they worked with me and were reasonable. The last time I was there for a cleaning I had gotten married and had insurance. I was specific that I wanted NOTHING but a cleaning and was told that was fine since I had been multiple time in the year. When I arrived, I was told I needed thousands of dollars worth of more work (after spending $3k earlier that year). The dental hygienist argued with me that he wouldn't clean my teeth without more x-rays. He also told me I needed a new job, I didn't make enough money, and was incredibly judgmental of my life. Now, I have been getting calls about an apt I never made, and this morning had a voicemail asking to move my apt up 3 hours. When I called back, they had already moved my apt without confirmation. Bait and switch - I'll never be back.

Positive experience: OMG, reading these reviews, I am rethinking my choice. Went in today to make an appointment for tooth pain for my husband. Explained my issue with unscrupulous dentist, and was assured the practice was very honest and all dentist were qualified. Receptionist Sofia was very pleasant. Will have to update the review once the appointment is completed. Keeping fingers crossed.

Negative experience: Have been coming here for about a year. Got my crown and the tooth wasn’t shaved down properly, I was assured it would go away, but it didn’t , it only got worse. When I came back again a month later they ended up shaving almost a quarter of a tooth down … point is it felt like a lot of tooth, how was that missed in the original appointment. Doctor prescribed anti-inflammatory to get the pain down, but had they done their job right first time there would be no need for putting me on drugs. Also every time I come here on time for my appointment it’s about 30 min until anybody starts working on me. I wish this could be my last visit. But I still have one more thing to do, and since they already have the X-rays, I will just get it done here so I don’t have to expose myself to more radiation just for one filing at a new place… where they would probably insist on getting my whole mouth again. Anyway, I don’t recommend. Go somewhere else.

Negative experience: I've come to this office for the first time over a year ago. My family referred me here as I just moved back to the area and needed a new dentist. When I made my first appointment I was denied the 50 dollar referral discount since family referred me, I mean it's whatever but looking back was probably the first red flag. At my initial visit I had identified some cavities and two root canals needing to be addressed. Following that I booked two appointments to do my root canals. This first one the doctor was running behind schedule so we started with the cavities and began the root canal on the second visit. At my initial visit I had explained I'm only around for a month and was assured we have it all done before I left. At my second visit I come to find out I need another and that would not be the case. I booked another visit 3 months out when I'll be back again and was assured it will be finished then and a crown placed . Again I came to find out that I need a another visit since they can't do a crown in one visit something they should've said when we made this treatment plan. Anyways another 3 months pass I return to finish with the crowns, I come to find out my dentist left so I have new dentist to finish the work which is fine except after my visit I found out they billed my insurance as a check up appointment and at that visit they had me take 3 X-rays because they couldn't find my most current × rays since they had to patient files for me. I only realized when the dentist insisted I had no root canal done yet and I told him to check again then did he realize he had all the X-rays he already needed. So I spoke with the office upset that I was charged for a checkup when I was only scheduled to complete my root canals with the crown. They argued since it's a new dentist but how's that my fault they have dentist coming and going from this office so frequently. They agreed to not charge me, but they still billed me for it. The best part ....my crowns are the largest “teeth” in my mouth, still hurt another 6 months later and cause nonstop headaches. On one occasion the dentist tried to tell me it was due to an incomplete root canal ...and then back tracked but its really just a terribly fitting crown which has left me with a very uncomfortable bite. I'd avoid this place at all costs they are disorganized and don't really care about their patients except as a source of income. O continuity of care. Too top it off they just asked me to come in for another cleaning. No thanks y'all maxed out my insurance because you can’t manage patient care appropriately, gave me unnecessary X-rays, never really finished the job, oh and billed my insurances for a visit I never really had since I was only there to finish my crowns not get a diagnostic check up on the half finished work.

Fantastic experience: I am really happy with this office. The entire staff are professional and friendly. Receptionists are all pleasant and the hygienists and dentists make sure I am comfortable with all procedures. Jen and Dr. Yoh are both amazing and take the time to explain all options. Dr. Yoh took extra care to be gentle with my husband to ensure he did not experience any pain. Truly happy to have him as our dentist.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Dental Experience! I’ve gotten a good amount of work done recently here and I’ve always had a pleasant time. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful, the dentists I worked with Dr. Yoh and Dr Aziz were very professional and helpful. Courtney was also extremely sweet and helpful through the whole process. Made it a much easier process! And most importantly they were very timely and accommodating. Highly recommend all around!

Negative experience: Disappointing first visit to this office. I stood at the front desk for several minutes before I was even acknowledged. The staff took 20 minutes just to check me in even though I had completed all of the forms prior to my visit. After that I waited an additional 30 minutes to be seen - almost an hour after my appointment time! The receptionist apologized and said the delay was because she is new and was waiting for someone else to assist her. Afterwards my insurance was billed for services that I never received! The only positive was the hygienist who was very friendly and explained everything she was doing. This practice is painfully unorganized and I won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: My first visit (which was just an exam) went well. There were unnecessary administrative bumps (having to provide insurance info and personal info again even though i provided it when i first set up the appointment which made the time I took off from work to go to the appointment that much longer) and the fact that they (initially) "couldn't find" my x-rays that I forwarded to the email address they told me to.. I had to gently nudge them to look harder rather than make me send the info again. Let's see how I feel about this place in 2 months that's REALLY when all medical offices should ask for reviews!

Fantastic experience: Dr Aziz is very professional and very friendly. I have been to many dentists and never felt this comfortable sharing the smallest adjustments, discomfort or a suggestion. I felt like I was heard and always got a response that encouraged me to not shy away from asking any question. Appointments are kind of hard to get sometimes but it all worth the wait. The staff is also very friendly and they move fast. On my first consultation, I was given a detailed breakdown of the payment plan and what I will be liable for. This way I was sure to not get surprised in between my treatment. I really appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this office after my Husband just went to this office and raved how high tech the office was, as well as how friendly everyone is! I was a legal Receptionist for close to 22 years in NYC, just resigned last month, so Client service is my specialty! All I have to say is , Wow!! Everyone from the Receptionists, Dental Hygienist, and Dentist were Wonderful! Each person takes their time with you, so I didn’t feel rushed. I was asked if asked if I was ok and if I had questions or concerns several times by both the Hygienist and Dentist. I will be going back!

Negative experience: I have been going to Dental Care Somerset for several years. I was content with them until one year I discovered I had a 3rd option for dental care that was less expensive than the other two that were presented to me throughout the years. Despite not being given all options possible I continued to see them. However, after my most recent interaction with the front staff this year I will no longer come here. Today my appointment was rescheduled because I did not answer (1) confirmation text that was sent on Saturday at 10am. They claimed that they attempted to reach me several times but I only have (1) text and no phone calls. This is a major inconvenience due to the fact that I had my entire day planned out for this appt. Also I never had a practice cancel an appt because the patient did not confirm a scheduled appt. It just sounds so silly to me. When I expressed my disappointment and that I would be looking for a new dentist the staff member just said "okay". There was no apology given to a loyal patient of over 5 years.

Fantastic experience: Another visit to Dental Care Somerset office for a routine cleaning was great from beginning to end. The staff were friendly and professional. The office is very clean. Every time I visit there's new cutting edge equipment to help make my routine check ups go on with ease. My hygienist Melissa did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth. Both Melissa and Dr. Aziz, made me feel welcomed and at ease to discuss any concerns. The procedure was quick, efficient and practically painless. Thank you again for such a great service.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dental Care of Somerset for about a year. Upon my first visit, they took so many pictures, scans and x rays and it showed all the details of my teeth. They gave me a thorough explanation of everything that was being done and walked me through step by step. The facility is also extremely clean and everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Today was my very first appointment and I was a bit nervous after going to my last hygienist since I was little. But I felt very comfortable and relaxed once I walked in, the staff makes you feel at home and they want to get to know you. They make sure you’re comfortable as well as show and explain to you exactly what’s going on with your teeth. I will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: When I was a little girl, I have had a horrible dentist experience overseas due to limited knowledge and maybe equipment who knows. Thus, I was always scared to go to the dentist. About 2 months ago, one day, I couldn't stand to the pain I had and decided to go to Dental Care Somerset which I knew nothing about them. I found them through my insurance and read couple reviews. That's all. I am glad I went there. What a wonderful experience I had from the moment I entered the door to finish the procedure. They asked couple of questions to get the know me better so that they can ease my pain and make me more comfortable. I had a Root Canal. I know the sound is scary to start with, but I did not feel any pain at all. Couple days before the procedure, they prescribed me an antibiotic. So, the procedure took almost 2 hours but didn't feel any pain at all even afterwards. They told me if I have a pain, I can take painkiller, but no pain at all. It was sore a little bit. Because how good they are, I actually scheduled another appointment to fix couple other teeth. Since I had an insurance, the price I paid wasn't bad at all and they have a deferred payment option. Also, front desk employees are amazing answering the questions and helping you. They always have smile on their face even talking on the phone. Lately, it is very rare to see places like this. So, thank you very much Dental Care Somerset for making me feel comfortable and taking care of my teeth, I am not scared to come to your office because I trust you.

Positive experience: This was my first time coming to Somerset dental care and I thought the staff was extremely welcoming. My dental hygienist made sure they received all my information and listened to what I had to say about my teeth. With my past dentists they were so hard on my teeth I was always in pain and alert. But with my new dentist she was very careful and efficient I accidentally fell asleep in my chair lol. If I were to change anything about my experience it would be the several times I had to change my appointment to adjust to their needs rather than mine.

Fantastic experience: As someone who hadn’t had professional dental care in years, I was nervous at my first appointment. Dental Care of Somerset had great reviews and was conveniently located with accessible parking, so I called for an appointment and there was availability within a couple days. The office is modern and well-kept. The staff was exceptionally friendly and thorough with my intake information. I was very impressed with the equiptment used for the xrays and imaging. The hygenist was so professional and informative and periodically asked about my comfort level. She really put me at ease. I was expecting to feel judged for my lack of professional maintenence of my teeth but instead She educated me on the process, what I should expect going forward and how I could continue to keep my teeth healthy. I also expected some pain associated with my first cleaning and exam in nearly 10 years but the hygenist and the dentist were gentle on my teeth and I left feeling so relieved. I really appeciated the careful treatment I recieved and the attentive staff. I have already made my follow-up appointment and I am actually looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dental Care a few days ago with a cracked tooth. They made a late appointment for me so I did not miss work. Everyone there is always so nice and helpful. The accessed the tooth and broke down the price payments for me. They made sure I understood everything they were doing and that I was never in any pain. Most importantly I was there very late in to the night and everyone stayed and was all very pleasant and kind even though they had to stay late. They made a huge difference in my care. I am one that is very scared of anything dental and they always make me feel comfortable when I'm there. They text me a few days later to see how I was feeling. Fantastic experience: This is my second visit to this practice and the team was friendly and professional. They took my concerns seriously and we are working together to get to the source of the problem. Great interactions with everyone! I have returned several times for routine care as well as for 2 root canals. Every time I received the same great care. 01/24/2022 - I am a regular patient at this practice. They always know me by name and greet me with a friendly, professional tone. Today I decided to take advantage of the great program for teeth whitening and needed to have impressions taken for bleaching trays. The staff were great. The entire process was done in 15 minutes and all COVID precautions were followed to a T.

They are always really professional and able to accommodate my schedule and they are all also super kind and nice. They have state of the art technology and equipment. Fantastic experience: Dental Care Somerset is such an amazing welcoming office. Specially with a wonderful crew, I came in to get a couple fillings done a couple days ago. Which I was extremely afraid about because I hate Needles!!! But Dr.Rabbi did an Outstanding job with making me feel comfortable, relaxed & made me laugh a lot!!!! Fantastic experience: I really love this location. The staff, starting at the front desk, are all extremely friendly. You’re always greeted with a smile and shown respect. The dental hygienists are all extremely knowledgeable and make sure you know what’s going on. They work to ensure you’re comfortable and ask what your forefront concern for that visit is too so nothing is missed. I also appreciated all of the feedback from the dentist. My dental hygienist Kris was super thorough and gentle with my cleaning, then my dentist Jay also addressed all my questions and made me feel comfortable with considering my options. Fantastic experience: Everyone here is so nice and friendly. The front desk Michelle made me feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I was a new patient and came in for a deep clean (I haven't visited a dentistry for year's) but my dental hygienist Kim really took good care of my teeth, the difference was day and night after the clean, I could not be happier with the results. I just had two fillings done today, Dr. Z and Jen did a great job, they also explained what was going on and what they were about to do with your teeth. The whole experience is so great, I would definitely recommend Dental Care Somerset to anyone in this area.

Fantastic experience: Dental care Somerset has been my go to dentist for the past 4 years and I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of dental care. Like most of us, I have an incredible phobia of the dentist, I absolutely hated going before finding this place! The dentists are kind and attentive. Fantastic experience: Dr Ziorbro was excellent and really patient with my son who is on the autistic spectrum, high functioning but very anxious. Michelle at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming Ari and Jen, dental assistants were also very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend. Negative experience: Pretty disappointed. I have perfect teeth. Never a cavity or any other issue. I go for a cleaning every 6 months and x-rays every 2 years. I couldn't make my appointment with my regular dentist of 25 years and was told that the next available was 4 months out, and they put me on the cancellation list. My husband goes here and said to give them a call. I called in the morning and they got me in that afternoon. I specified my situation and that I needed a cleaning. At my appointment, I was told that they could not do a cleaning without doing x-rays. Had they told me that when I made my appointment. I could have had my regular office send over recent x-rays, but they didn't tell me. I didn't have time to get them sent over at my appointment. I didn't want to expose myself to extra x-rays, so I left disappointed. Fortunately, my regular dentist called (Dr. Shapiro in East Brunswick) and they had a cancellation soon. Today was just an unfortunate waste of my time.
