Fantastic experience: Had a great visit today! Yes I’m talking about the dentist. Dr. Thompson and the whole team were amazing! My daughter had a tooth needing to be pulled and we of course were nervous. Once we arrived at the reception desk our fears were immediately calmed. Very professional and friendly and respectful all around.

Negative experience: I would not choose this business simply because of the ikky commercial on TV. Of course dental work requires having your patient with their mouth wide open with instruments inserted, but watching it for the entire length of the commercial is just gross. I don't want to watch somebody's gory dental appointment.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to see Dr B for 19 years now. I've referred my family and friends along the way, as the care and treatment I've received always has been great. Update: I've had a few crowns over the years. Dr B and his staff have always done a fantastic job. I had my seventh one last year, and although the process has changed over the years the end result was great. The new crown felt like my old tooth in that the fit and function was perfect. Dr B has a great team of trusted, highly trained professionals that make the clinic efficient. I want to give a shout out to Linsey and Tiffany for my great experience, it was pain free and my new tooth is perfect. Linsey made the process pain free, expertly administering my injections. (No pain the next day either). Tiffany built up my temporary crown and made it fit like my tooth. I forgot I had a temp. Then on the new crown she fit it with perfection, expertly grinding the gold and polishing it to make a snug fit. If you've ever had a high spot on a filling/crown you know how frustrating it is to eat. Having it fit perfectly from the beginning is the gold standard that I've always experienced with Dr B and his great team. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Briargate Dental has been taking care of my wife and me for quite a few years now and we think they are just the best! Everyone there is kind, courteous, friendly, caring, and most of all, totally professional. They have the latest equipment, up to and including in-house, same day crowns in most cases. We both see Dr. B when he’s available, and he’s a really good guy, as well as an outstanding dentist. But we think everyone there is pretty amazing! Fantastic experience: Went to address a problem that I really didn’t know that I had and it turns out that I had a cavity which resulted in getting a crown. The technology today is incredible in that they can complete the installation of a crown in seven hours. I had Dr THOMPSON for this experience and was more than satisfied with the results, as normal. Everyone at Briargate Dental Center are friendly and more than willing to assist in any way that they can. 5+ stars.

Fantastic experience: My son and I see Dr Baumgardner! We love him and his staff. Everyone there is kind and patient (both my son and I are terrified of dental work). My son has a complex heart defect and artificial valve which complicates his dental care and requires pre med. they are always on top of it and always take his safety with dental work with the seriousness of it.. and have never made it seem like a burden. Office communication is clear annd punctual. I definetly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a chipped tooth and just moved to the area so had no established dental office. The front office staff was amazing on getting me in that morning and was very knowledgeable about Tricare insurance which is always a plus! The office is very clean and again the staff is amazing. I was seen and treated within the hour! My tooth looks like NOTHING happened which coming from a family that has been in the dental world for over 40 years is saying a lot. So glad I found this place and can't wait to come back for a cleaning!

The entire staff was kind, calm, and professional---exactly what I needed, especially with my history of dental anxiety and a strong gag reflex. I came in to have a filling repaired and was dreading the process, but it truly could not have gone better. The procedure was quick (less than 10 minutes!), completely painless, and handled with such gentle care. The dentist was amazing---patient, thorough, and clearly very skilled. They explained everything in a way that was reassuring and made me feel like I was in excellent hands. I left feeling so relieved and grateful. This ENTIRE team is a rare gem, and I’m actually looking forward to my next visit. If you’ve had bad dental experiences in the past, this is the place that will change your mind. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: 5/28/25: Went in to have a tooth checked after biting into a small pebble found in my salad from a local restaurant. Got the appointment quickly and Dr. Thompson and his team were great taking care of me. These folks are pros but most importantly compassionate and caring individuals. Thank you.

He was so kind and understanding and actually took so much time to explain things to me and to build a patient/doctor relationship with me. I’m still nervous, but I know I’m in good hands with him. He is knowledgeable and listens, which you don’t always get with doctors. Also, Kristi the dental hygienist was so sweet and patient with me. The office in general, gives a nice "at home" feeling. The receptionist was helpful with my insurance questions and the hygienist (Lindsey) was considerate, knowledgeable and took the time to address my questions. Fantastic experience: If you travel 3.5 hours one way for your Implant you either do it for EXPERT Health Care or for GENUINE CARE for the patient. Dr. B. and his staff at Briargate Dental Center have both down to a sciece.

Not only was this place close but everyone from the front on were great. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was told upfront what was going on step by step as well as pricing along the way. Great communication. If you need a dentist i definitely recommend them to anyone I talk to.

Fantastic experience: Lindsey and the rest of the squad were all great. Lindsey did a routine cleaning. It had been over a year since the last one so I was concerned about the build up. There was zero pain which was surprising. She is very skilled and pleasant to chat with. T.J., the dentist, was thorough and concerned without being pushy about procedures. After one visit I sent my wife to them as well. I have had several dentists in the Springs, this is the best I’ve found.

Fantastic experience: An update: Briargate Dental Center fit me into an emergency visit. Dr. Thompson and his staff were very thorough and very knowledgeable. They examined my dental situation and determined I needed to see a specialist . They were able to refer me for the same day to have an emergency root canal done with Dr McKissock. I appreciate so much that Elevation Endodontics was able to see me same day. I was in so much pain and didn’t know where to turn. They cared about my situation and medical folks like that are a true treasure. They addressed all my questions and concerns . The staff were all very professional and pleasant. I thank them as well. I would highly recommend this practice I am so happy to have found such professional dental providers, it really is so important to have practices you can trust.

Fantastic experience: 2025 update: My wife just had her first visits this year. She has dementia. Even though she doesn't completely know what is happening and why, the staff treated her with such love and respect that she was happy through the entire procedure of getting a cap replaced. during the first diagnostic/cleaning visit to the cap replacement, we had 5 different staff members interacting with her and all of them were caring and supportive through the different procedures. This is the best dentists office we have had over the decades of dentists across this country. 2024 We just recently switched to Briargate Dental. If you are looking for a happy, friendly, homey, staff to take care of your dental needs, this is the place to go. TJ (Dr. Baumgardner) has assembled a team that is by far, one of the best I have ever experienced. They care about you as a person and have fun! It makes your appointment very pleasant. I highly recommend going here for your next dental procedure!

Fantastic experience: There aren't enough words to describe how awesome Briargate Dental is. Front office staff: welcoming and friendly all the time. I've overheard them wiring with patients when treatment is costly and insurance only covers a certain amount. Dental techs/ assistants: are nice knowledgeable and informative. They won't make you feel embarrassed if you're neglected your teeth. They let you know it's their job and educate you on post appointment care to keep your teeth healthy. (Trinidad is my favorite) don't tell the others. Lindsey is a close second. But I would be comfortable having any of them do my cleanings every six month Dr Baumgardner aka Dr B. is one of the best dentist I've ever met. He welcomes any questions or concerns you have about your teeth or gum health, but he'll also chat with you about what's good on tv. He's so personable and treats his staff well. My whole family goes here and we will for years to come. If you're looking for a new family dentist look no further. Stop right here. Book your appointment you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: We moved here in 2009 andi searched for a nearby dentist. I have only had positive experiences ever since with life-loving and fun Dr. B who remembers my boys and celebrates who they are as they Mattie into young men on each visit and always is willing to share and listen to a family story with me. They're successful for a reason!! Caring staff, professional, but real people! After thirteen years and a few fillings between all four of us, we appreciate them even more!!

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful Dental office and Dr. B is the best dentist! Today was my 2nd time seeing him and it was for a filling. He was running a little late because of unforseen circumstances but checked in on me and let me know what was going on. He apologized for the wait, even though it wasn't a very long wait at all, and asked if I was doing okay during the procedure. He uses state of the art equipment and did a very good job on my filling. The dental assistant was so nice and explained everything that was going to happen. The front desk was also very friendly. Dr. B has a very nice Dental practice!

Negative experience: Very nice people and did a great job. Above was the first thing I put. Less than 30 days i am having to spend a lot more money because I believe I was given false info. My account of the events leading to a 1 star review and would not recommend. I of course told the receptionist to cancel my future appointments. She advised she will let the dentist know. I will update this if anything changes, but based on the phone call, I do not see the office feeling any obligation to assist further than what they have already done. They sent me this. I wish they commented with how they actually feel. Also I am sure this is how they silent people. I feel like they contradicted them selves as in the letter it says I could need a root canal from couple weeks to months to up to 30 years. Y’all can decide for yourselves but what they sent to me is fact. In response to what they recently replied. It’s funny because they seem like everyone who sends out cease and desist letters are always in the right. How can anyone prove you have never done this before if you send out letters from your lawyers to remove reviews? I can say I have never had anyone send me a letter like that. And I can back that up with showing screenshots of all my bad reviews and then me not saying anything about a letter because I would have done the same thing if any other business did what you did. Most time they comment saying what happened may have been different and provide their side of the story. I have posted reviews and to be fair the first review posted was great. If I had the time and wanted to expend the funds I would be happy to go to court. But I believe your “expertise” made me spend more than I had to. But thank you for the feedback

Fantastic experience: I chipped my front tooth and needed it fixed quickly. Dr B wasn’t available, so I saw Dr Thompson. He was very personable and did a great job with my tooth! I would definitely recommend and not hesitate to see him again.

Fantastic experience: Relocated to CO Springs and researched dentists in the Delta Dental plan with good reviews and Briargate Dental was highly recommended and deservedly so. Dr B is great...explains everything in detail and his staff is outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I am a recent switch over to this dentist. They are so kind and focus on the health of your teeth, not trying to sell cosmetic fixes that aren't asked for or important. I love this place.

Negative experience: This dental office must be having budgetary or financial problems. Or Dr. Baumgardner is trying to become more wealthy than he already is. If you are a self pay patient, the office has a new policy. You have to pay in full as soon as you arrive and before services are rendered. Once you pay in full up front, their computer software is unable to print you a receipt (showing a zero balance) for the services rendered because the services have not been rendered yet. Several months ago they quit giving the self pay 10% discount. At my next appointment they had raised all their prices. At my next appointment they had started requiring self pay patients to pay in full before services are rendered. So un business like. I never got a receipt showing a zero balance. My receipt for paying in full was a note written by the desk clerk and some kind of a scribble for her name. I have spent a fortune here over the last year on crowns and fillings and periodontal maintenance for my family.. Not anymore. I will never go back. Maybe Dr. Baumgardner has too many patients and is trying to downsize his practice. It is working. I am leaving and will never go back. For this dentist the bottom line is transactional. He wants to make big bucks. The office staff is unfriendly, cold and transactional. My appointment that I made six months ago was cancelled by them 30 minutes before the appointment as I was getting in my car to leave for the appointment. My son was in in July for periodontal maintenance. They found 3 cavities along the gum line. They couldn’t get him in for the fillings until the end of October. (3 months) I have known Dr. Baumgardner for many years. I have never not paid them for services rendered. If they can't trust me to pay them for services rendered, then I can't trust them to give us good dental care. The trust is broken and cannot be repaired. We are moving on.

Fantastic experience: Dr. B is very patient, efficient and honest. I am a mess when it comes to dental procedures and he is excellent walking you through the procedure. His assistants abd hygienists are great too.

Fantastic experience: Help me overcome my fear of the dentist office and now I've been going on a regular getting check-ups and all really great staff really great people really great dentist. The only dentist I've ever had that makes me feel safe and comfortable. He has me and my family's business for the rest of his life from a toddler to old man. You can trust him guaranteed.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist who did my cleaning 6 months ago was exceptional. Trinidad, the hygienist who did my recent cleaning was better still. She is the absolute best hygienist I've had in all my years going to Briargate . She was extremely professional and caring throughout.

Fantastic experience: Several years ago I had a crown done at another dentist and the entire experience was AWFUL and left me traumatized. The first time I went to see Dr. B, I told him about it, with tears in my eyes, and he promised to always treat me with compassion and to do what he could to earn my trust. Fast forward to now: I had a one-day crown done yesterday at Dr. B’s and I don’t have enough great things to say: the staff at Briargate Dental Center is genuinely caring, kind, gentle, compassionate (special shout-out to Teagan, Lindsay, and another amazing and kind hygienist whose name I have forgotten, and I’m so sorry, because she was just completely gentle, caring and good at her job.). They did a great job of communicating everything I needed/wanted to know about the process and answered all my questions and calmed every fear. Fantastic experience: My first visit with this dentist. Staff was very professional and friendly. Very knowledgeable. The dental hygienist was amazing! Gentle, yet getting years of tarter gone. Doctor B, very knowledgeable, took his time to do a thorough exam. Made dental work seem not as scary as I was building it up to be. I definitely recommend this doctor! It’s takes a minute for your scheduled appointment, (especially for a first time patient), but well worth the patience. I had a Great experience!

They were especially good when my kids first started going to the dentist. So good in fact that my kids don't have a fear of dentist. I cannot say enough good things about this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. B and his staff are excellent in service, always friendly, and efficient. This was the second time this year that they worked me into their busy schedule. Both times the treatment was successful with pain relief and a quick referral to a specialists. Both referral were excellent choices for my treatment. Fantastic experience: Everyone at Briargate Dental has taken such good care of our family’s dental needs. Even when I had an issue with a filling, they made it right. Very family friendly office and they try to make it fun for kids who are still getting used to the dentist office.

Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly, they had good communication and were transparent about everything. Dr. B explained everything thoroughly and his education made you want to actually change your dental lifestyle. Even my hygienist did an excellent job in explaining what she was doing . Updated: 12/15/23 The staff at Briargate Dental continues to impress me! Their customer service is top notch along with the quality of their work. Their communication amongst themselves is great, which creates an efficient, pleasant experience for me each time. They write important notes in my chart about me to communicateto their staff (ie. to move the chair slowly because I have vertigo) or the direction that I prefer my chair to face) and the staff ask for my feedback on those type of things. Such attention to little details to ensure my visit is good, speaks volumes!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy to have found Briargate Dental. I felt valued and well cared for by everyone I came in contact with. I needed a replacement crown in a hurry due to some issues I was having. They treated me the same day. What a relief! Excellent care all around. Also, you can’t put a dollar amount on exceptional medical care but i’de like to say the cost was very reasonable. I have no reservations to highly recommending Briargate Dental.
