Fantastic experience: My original appt for a cleaning and exam was for mid-November. I called last week and mentioned a potential problem I was having. I got a call shortly thereafter saying they had a cancellation so they could move my appt up a week. I arrived about 15 minutes prior to my scheduled time and they called me in right on time! I’m disabled and they helped me with getting in the office and to the exam room. This was my first time with this hygienist, Wendy, and she was a delight! Very sociable and knowledgeable and gentle. I will be seeing her and Dr. HadI from here on out. I have one negative thing to say and it’s not regarding the staff, it’s regarding the parking lot. As I mentioned, I’m handicapped. The only handicap curb is at one end of the lot and dental office is in the middle so I have to walk from my car down to the end of the sidewalk to get up the curb and then walk back to the office. Not very handicap friendly!

I was in desperate need of help due to a bad bad cavity that hurt so bad that I was in tears, I called them and explained my situation and they got me in on the same day! I was so grateful for them and the staff treated me like a queen, shout out to April,she was so sweet and attentive!! The Dentist Hadi Elgaali,DDS was so gental and friendly and made me feel at ease before my extraction, he made sure I endured no pain in the process and did a phenomenal job!! I will definitely come back for my root canal with him as soon as I can save the funds for It, thank you for saving my sanity, we all know tooth pain is no joke!!

From this 1st meeting with her we both was tearing up. You don't find alot of genuine caring folks like this. Ya'll are blessed to have her.

Positive experience: The online scheduling was easy to get the appointment. Everyone was extremely nice and not judgmental about my lack of recent dental care. What they do not tell you is that when you book online you get a limited appointment rather than a complete appointment. I went in expecting a full evaluation and plan of treatment for my whole dental health with priority for the tooth that hurts, but because I was given a limited appointment they only assessed the one tooth that was painful. I did get a treatment plan for that and an appointment in the future

Fantastic experience: I had to get a crown and the staff was helpful and efficient. They worked with me to get me in before a trip. All good.

Negative experience: Completely incompetent go somewhere else. This is the kind of place that makes people hate dentists. I as well saw positive reviews. So I gave them a shot worst mistake I’ve made in a long time. Absolute clowns. Blame everything on their employees that don’t work there anymore. Blame it on the patient when they don’t do their job. Confront them over the phone or in person and they do nothing but smirk and lie. No communication at all. Absolute garbage. I’ve been dealing with their crap for over a year now same old story over and over. Glad I’m done speaking with them.

Negative experience: Every time I have an appointment they take between 20 and 35 minutes to get me in. Unfortunately, I started an invisalign treatment with them so I can't just change dentists but believe me I would. I understand things happen and delays happen but every single time? Come on.

Negative experience: I was really excited to try this dental office because of all of the great reviews and the fact that their Facebook ad says they can get you right in. However, even though I filled out the online appointment application a week ago (that was in their Facebook ad), I have yet to receive any communication about an appointment. Yes, I could call. But, what is the point of that online form requesting an appointment then? It’s basically useless if they never contact you.

Fantastic experience: They were able to get my husband in for an emergency exam and were very quick and efficient! They were able to provide us with the answers and solutions we needed! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend them any day!

Positive experience: Im confused. I've been coming here a little over 2 years and have only had one dentist perform all my procedures. After a RC, my cap was to be put on a few weeks later. I received multiple texts assuring that I would be there. Then, an hour before my appointment, after I literally started my car, I received a call for a reschedule because the dentist had to leave because his wife was having a baby. Again, I've only seen one dentist and "she" great. Here we are 3 weeks later, and moments after answering yes to the robo-text asking if I'll be there, I get another rescheduling call into 2025. I strategically use my vacation days from work, so that is 2 wasted. I'm not sure if the new year was a factor as far as my insurance is involved. I'm not even sure how long this temporary cap can stay in.

Doctor Mueler is great and staff from reception to hygienists have all be professional friendly and courteous. Already had major work and regular cleanings and everything was absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic experience: THE HYGENIST BRITTANY IS ONE OF THE BEST HYGENIST EVER !!!! Not only is she good at what she does ( she knows her stuff ) she makes you feel comfortable and at ease during your vist. We all know how the dentist can make you feel . I have had some pretty bad issues , never did she make me feel like I was less than because of my situation. I WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE 40 mins to Whittaker road dental and i recommend you should too.

Fantastic experience: Went today for a crown replacement which entailed prepping my tooth base (with cavity), prepping & installing a temporary crown, and ordering a permanent crown. Of course, it takes a plethora of steps to make all of this go smoothly and the dental assistant, Ami, did an excellent job of making sure this was the case. Dr. Batsaikhan was quick & efficient. No pain involved (although later I suspect my jaw will show some soreness). So I can easily rate 5 stars for Whittaker Road Dental.

I was surprised to get same day visit and even started the procedure of what I needed done. I choose this office after being with a dentist 35 years and I was hoping to get the same care. Negative experience: I wish you didn't ask. I wouldn't have even bother to leave a review. My Crown is damaged. I did it in 2016 It's supposed to last at least 10 years According to the information you gave me Currently I have no insurance And unfortunately, the information you gave me was. The dentist that had done it no longer works there. When I came to your facility I did not look up a particular dentist. I looked up Whitaker road dental. Your current dentist told me that it was made from an inferior material / softer and that's probably why It was crumbling in the back of number 7 tooth front right. I live in Detroit and I wasted my time driving back-and-forth. Unfortunately My attorney will address this matter I have asked you guys to email me that information to no Avail.

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant atmosphere. Staff polite, helpful and friendly. Dr. B made me feel comfortable and in professional care, I was very nervous and in pain when I came in. He talked to me during the procedure and it did make a difference and made me feel more relaxed. If I needed anything else done I would go back and recommend him to my friends and family members.

I had my daughter in there to get an extraction and they talk about braces then when I call to schedule her extraction Emily says no thats not in her treatment plan if you want that then she has to be seen and we can write a plan for that its just money money money...

Negative experience: unfortunately this dentist was referred to me, by a very reputable organization. I being willing to try this dentist quickly realized today that they try to rush you out the door. I even tried to get them to slow down and talk to me but they didn't care to do that. Your right your not a good fit if you don't take time out of your busy day for your patients. No I would not recommend this dentist with his uncaring eyes and ways. there are some good people out there and too many that turn their blind eyes away from the good people. please take my advice and go somewhere that takes time out to see you.

Negative experience: My dental provider at The Lakes told me I could have my teeth cleaned at your facility since they were booked up to January. I show up to my appointment and was told that I may not get my teeth cleaned unless they have time after a comprehensive exam. I get called to the back and was told that I for certain would not be getting a cleaning since there were only 2 hygienists that day. I left without receiving any service. I was not pleased at all. I would give 0 stars if it were possible. Do better!

Negative experience: The dentist advised me to have a crown replaced from a previous dentist. Didn't bother sharing that insurance only covers treatment on a particular tooth once every 5 years. I told her before she removed it I got it 2 years earlier. Now I have a zero insurance covered bill of $1300. I asked to speak to manager but no one ever returned my call. Very unethical business practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Whittaker Road Dental for over 10 years. I have never had a bad experience regarding scheduling, billing or the care that I have received. Everyone has been and always is very personable and professional.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very professional and polite. I was pleasantly impressed. I needed a crown and a week into the process I broke my temp. I called and was scheduled in promptly and my temp was replaced, no charge I might add. I would say this service was five star.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for a root canal, they required 300 deposit, even though I had insurance. Changed my mind and had my tooth pulled the cost was $143 after my insurance paid with their portion. I still am waiting for my $156 credit. It has been six weeks and they refuse to give me my money back they keep telling me they’re gonna credit it and they’re crediting it but they never have done it. Six weeks is ridiculous to have to wait for Credit terrible place would never go there

The staff never tries to push products or service on me in an effort to sell me things I don't truly need. The providers staff and equipment seem to keep up with times and use newer technology to make my cleaning and dental health tracking better.

Negative experience: Dental products made from substandard material. Within the first year my items chipped and cracked while cleaning due to a fall in sink. Now unusable. Seeking another dental provider. My parents had their items 30+ years dropping them everywhere with not a scratch! Extremely expensive item for such poor quality.

Negative experience: I recently had a tooth pulled and a 2nd one capped. Where the tooth was pulled, I now have a pointed piece of bone sticking out and rubbing my inner lip. I pointed it out to the Dentist and he just blew it off saying that's bone. It wasn't there before the work was done and I am angry that nothing was done to fix this. During the procedure of pulling my tooth, he was struggling getting it out and he slipped and I believe that caused the bone fragment. He didn't say anything, my mouth was numb and it did not hurt but it is driving me crazy now.

Negative experience: By far the worst experience I've ever had dealing with billing. The first appointment went smoothly from both a patient care and insurance/billing perspective but everything after that was a nightmare dealing with constant unsolvable billing issues where insurance would say I didn't owe anything for routine cleaning but Whittaker Road Dental kept trying to bill me. I tried for months to resolve but always got the run around. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience I experienced at the Whittaker Road Dental Office, I called the practice because of a broken tooth, and got right in, the Dentist, his assistant and staff were friendly and accommodating putting my comfort first. Would recommend the practice to my family and friends in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with this office. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I need a crown and the office staff reviewed the expenses prior to making my appointment. They asked if I was comfortable with the charges prior to making the next appointment. My hygienist, Shelby was great! Thorough, gentle and very sweet. Dr. Mueller is also terrific. I moved out of the area three years ago but I still come back for my dental care. It is a 45 minute drive but well worth it.

Fantastic experience: First time here since I have an insurance plan with dental. Jennifer the hygienist was fantastic. She explained everything before she did it and I appreciated her explaining what I can do to get my teeth in better shape. Then Dr Brent Mueller, DDS came over to give me my plan for improved dental health. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: Dr Mueller is AMAZING!!! Out entire family (teens included) see him and we all love him the same. My daughter had so much damage from braces and after seeing him you cannot tell it ever existed. I’m terrified of the dentist and him and his assistant Ashley always make sure I’m comfortable informed and happy! See him. You won’t be disappointed!

Negative experience: I went in for an emergency tooth extraction due to a really bad abscessed tooth. Dr. B said she could pull it the same day or the next. They said they would call me later and let me know. No one ever called back. I called the next day from the ER of the hospital (had to in I was in so much pain) to see if she could still do it, no one bothered to call back again and now their office is closed until next week. She wouldn’t even give me anything for the pain. I will not return. Shame on you guys for turning me away and ignoring me during my dental emergency! Also worth mentioning…. they tried telling me on two different occasions that they do not accept my insurance even though my insurance is the one who put me onto them. After telling them they were wrong and getting them to finally check with somebody they realized they do indeed take my insurance. Crazy. They need to be better informed. ***edited to add: Even though they responded to this review and said someone would call me, they never did.

Fantastic experience: Hadn't been in a while due to COVID. They are still the same great people. Ashley was amazing and answered all my questions. as I say "my drill and fill" went well. Negative experience: Update on 07/21/2023: I left a review a week ago, and in response, they requested me to call them to address the issue. Today, I made the call, but I received the same response: their headquarters are in Illinois, and they process refunds from there. They informed me that it might take another 6 to 8 weeks before I receive the refund check. Original Review: I would like to share my disappointing experience with a dental office that overcharged me and provided subpar customer service. Despite my efforts to follow up with my dental insurance, it appears that the dental office failed to communicate with them regarding my dental claim. This lack of coordination reflects poorly on their professionalism. To ensure the processing of my claim, I took it upon myself to fax all the required documents as requested by my dental insurance. Although the claim eventually went through, it took the dental office more than a month to acknowledge the outstanding balance owed to me, even though the insurance company had provided me with a confirmation number a month prior. This delay in recognizing their obligation was frustrating and demonstrated a lack of efficiency on their part. When I approached the dental office and requested that the excess amount be refunded directly to the original bank account that was charged, they declined my request. Their reasoning was that the case was now considered from a month ago, so they could only issue a refund via check. Unfortunately, it has been nearly two months since they made this promise, and I have yet to receive any check in the mail. During my last phone call to the dental office, I was informed that their check processing center is located in Chicago, implying that they handle such matters externally. This situation raises concerns about the transparency of their financial practices and gives the impression that they may be intentionally holding onto people's money.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience!!!! I was a nervous wreck walking in to my appointment just thinking about drills and shots. Ashley and Dr. Mueller rolled out the red carpet for my anxiety. SO kind, SO patient walking me through the entire process. Best part was, NO pain! I am so excited about the future of my dental health!!!! Thank you to this well orchestrated TEAM!!!

Fantastic experience: Had my teeth cleaned by Trisha and fillings done by Dr. B. Both were excellent. They made me very comfortable with my treatments and provided me with the knowledge to keep my mouth healthy.

Fantastic experience: Every visit has been well explained and procedures performed with care. Dr Mueller has a great chair side manner and personality and is very thorough with what I have had to have done. Assistants have all been great also and friendly and helpful!

Negative experience: I've tried to give this place a chance, twice. First, I needed a root canal and they don't perform them in office(that's ok) but, when the dentist they referred me to couldn't get me in for a month, I called to let them know that I was unable to get a reasonable appointment time and that I was in excruciating pain. I was informed that someone would call me back, NEVER HAPPENED. Secondly, I left this dentist(found another one further from my home) I decided to go back after over a year, for a routine visit(cleaning). They again, referred me to a dentist that could not get me an appointment for two months. I again notified them of the situation, the receptionist advised me that someone would return my call, NEVER HAPPENED. Since Dr. Eric left this practice, it's gone downhill. I'll take my business elsewhere!!!

Negative experience: I’ve come to this office several times over the last year+ and they genuinely only care about selling you Invisalign. At checkout, they didn’t even attempt to schedule me for my actual cavities but made sure to tell me all about how to sign up for Invisalign treatment and how they have an open house coming up. I will be finding a new dentist office in the area to go to.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Whittaker Road Dental for 10+ years, and in the past 2 years, the customer service has really fallen off. I used to recommend it to people looking for a new dentist, but I can no longer do so in good faith. The front desk staff has gone from good to passable and occasionally down right incompetent. They don't return messages left, and scheduling is a nightmare. On several occasions, I have called to schedule an appointment and when I arrive at that time, I am not on the schedule. The Hygienists are good but not worth the trouble of working with the office staff.

Fantastic experience: I am new to this practice due to an insurance change in January. I had been going to the same dentist office for 25 years. I was very nervous to switch. I had to have work done for the first time ever due to health conditions that affect my teeth/gums. The office actually got me in for a semi urgent problem as a new patient within a week. I recently seen them for a second time due to an unexpected (semi urgent to me) problem. They were able to get me in quickly. As nervous as I was to change dentists after so many years I actual found this office to be even better. Dr. Mueller is excellent, patient, kind and listens. I’ve seen one dental assistant who was very patient and put me at ease and I have now seen a hygentist as well. Everyone from the front desk staff to the hygentist, the dental assistant, and dentist all have been very patient, kind and dealt with a very nervous patient without making me feel bad. I have been recommending this office to everyone I speak too.
