Dr Lalwani is trustworthy and will always explain any dental Procedures that I might need. She never pressures us to get things done. She also gives us options. They have A calm working environment and all work well together. I had the best dental visit yesterday. The Hygienist Matthew was amazing really made me feel comfortable. The doctor took her time explained everything. I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Love the staff here! I've always gotten along great with the sweet ladies at this office. However, I've learned to be wary of what the dentist says is necessary. Maybe she's just over-cautious, but it comes off as money hungry. For example, I accidentally chipped one of my front teeth and asked what I should do about it. The lady who cleaned my teeth explained it would make the most sense to just shave it down a little so it wasn't sharp because trying to fill it in would be expensive and wouldn't be worth it for such a small spot. The dentist came in and highly recommended getting it filled in and tried to discourage the idea of just evening it out. My most recent issue, I had a tooth that they told me HAD to have a root canal. I went and got a second opinion cause it wasn't causing any pain, and it was gonna cost just under $1000 after insurance to get the procedure done. The other dentist told me it just needed a filling, which is a fraction of the cost. Again, lovely staff, but glad I went to get a second opinion!

Fantastic experience: I like Dr Lalwani and Family Dentistry of Owasso…and I actually enjoy coming in to the office…(you have no idea how much I hate going to the dentist!) 1) Dr Lalwani is careful and communicative about what ever procedure she’s doing. She takes care to check in with me, reassuring me that if I feel anything I should just signal and she will stop. And she means it! 2) The technicians and assistants who work with her have all been just as friendly while also maintaining a professional demeanor. 3) The office staff have also been very helpful. 4) I have no complaints!

Negative experience: My insurance can recover two times regular teeth cleaning every year. I did those at other dental clinics, it worked. We move to Owasso and find this family dental care with high reviews. They use 15 mins to do the cleaning, and they told me it was a deep cleaning. They charged me $107 after the insurance. I don’t feel their deep cleaning is better than other dental office ‘s regular cleaning. And later, they set me a bill for another $218 for two teeth’s deep cleaning. That’s crazy. I will not go to this place anymore.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. I loved it when I first came, everyone was nice and explained everything. But once I got my Invisalign and I was happy with my teeth and wanted to stop it they got pissed off, they said I owe $1,000 something dollars when I only owe $400 and I recently got my retainers and the lady just had me put them in to see if they fit, she didn’t go over them with or tell me when to change them or anything!! My daughter is going is somewhere else and I will to once I can!!

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful team of hygienists, assistants and adminstrators. They are all very personable, knowledgeable and eager to help and answer any questions you have. The only (somewhat) negative thing I have to say is I am really going to miss Dr. Davis. He was an exceptional dentist and I was very upset to learn that he is now practicing in Bixby. But, I met Dr. Lalwani yesterday and she seems very experienced and sweet and Im sure I will eventually love her just as much as I loved Dr. Davis.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient here and I called 8 o’clock in the morning with severe pain in my tooth. They made me an appointment right away. Saw that I needed a root canal and somehow managed to get it done before 1 o’clock in the same day. I’m extremely happy with this place. They did an excellent job

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency to where I even had to seek hospitalization and surgery, which this dentist recommended me to and it saved my life. I was able to return back to her and she was able simply extract my infected tooth with such ease. Her and her staff made me feel so confident and comfortable being I have never even had a tooth pulled in my adult life. This was all a first for me. I highly recommend her to get you taken care of. Very reasonably priced as well.

Negative experience: it was a nightmare. i thought i was going to die……….. In October 2024 i went to family dental care of owasso for a cleaning and because i had a crown that was bothering me, dr. Ruchira J. Lalwani saw me and found that i needed a root canal, two crowns and a filling apart from the cleaning and a treatment for gum infection. well at my first appointment I thought they were going to do the cleaning and well no, she started by doing the two crowns and the filling and she did all this in less than 45 minutes, she looked like she was in a hurry. she gave me the anesthesia which by the way didn't work and she had to inject me again and the pain I felt every time she bury the needle was horrible. the anesthesia took longer to take effect than it took her to finish the job, I was so surprised to see everything she did in less than 45 minutes. After this my Calvary began... all night I had a horrible pain in my teeth, the next day I called her and she prescribed me antibiotics for 10 days, when I finished the antibiotics the pain came back worse, I called again and this time she checked me I suggested that I may I told her that I may need another root canal and she said yes, I think so too, but you have to pay another $800 to have it done. I paid that because what I wanted was the pain to go away, well it didn't go away, it hurt more horribly and I had to go to the emergency room, they told me it was another infection and they gave me more antibiotics so I lasted a month with antibiotics and in pain. I decided to go see another dentist and the new dentist discovered that they had fractured a tooth and that's why this horrible pain. I had to go to a specialist to have the tooth pulled. I spoke to Dr.Ruchiras J.Lalwan manager from Family Dental Care of Owasso and she said that I did that to myself, that she had nothing to do with it. but why wasn't my tooth cracked before I went to see her? Well I will tell you that she did not take responsibility for anything of course, I did not expect anything less from her, I knew that they were not going to take responsibility for anything. I ended up paying $5000 out of my pocket plus what my insurance paid. I spoke to a lawyer because I know that she was responsible but of course due to lack of money I could not hire one and well I just want to tell you. BE AWARE OF GOING TO FAMILY DENTAL CARE OF OWASSO!!

Fantastic experience: My dental cleaning at Family Dental was as always pleasant, relaxed and efficient! Voicing my thanks and appreciation.

Negative experience: I called and asked for an emergency appointment because my boyfriend was complaining of his tooth hurting. They got us in ASAP the same day at 1 or 2 pm. We get there and are there for 2 hours and they do tons of xrays. The entire time his tooth hurts, the xrays show he needs these teeth removed and then say they'll have someone come in and discuss with us payment options. I ask, can't you guys pull his tooth? And they said, oh not today we don't have enough time. Well okay. The come in and quote us a bill of $3600 give or take. I'm over here like... for 3 teeth removal? No it's for crowns okay. I kinda get that. Well we can't afford to do that huge lump sum but we can do smaller. We ask if we can maybe do the most important and immediately concerning teeth now they say oh yes that's fine. That shouldn't be more than a few hundred if they are pulling it. So they go and apply for financing. If it's only a few hundred why did you ask the financing people for 3600? Before the doctor even left us the nurse then asked her, hey do I need to send in antibiotics and the doctor straight up shakes her head and says no and leaves the room. Mind you when a tooth starts to hurt that's usually the first sign of infection. We go to schedule and I'm over here thinking oh since they got us in so quick today they will get us in quick. My boyfriend isn't the type to complain of pain so when he does it's bad for everyone. ONE MONTH. They said they couldn't get us in for ONE MONTH. No antibiotics, no suggestions on how to deal with the pain. I said okay ill keep the appointment and to put me on the list if someone cancels. Here we are barely 2 days later and I'm having to find a different dentist to go to because my boyfriend is literally trying to remove the tooth himself. Don't even bother with this place. They aren't there for your health, they are there for the money. This is why I hate dentists.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit at Family Dental this week. I called for an appointment and they did everything that could be done to be of service. Not only did they get me in on the next day, when they found that I had lost a filling and had an infected tooth, they did a root canal and temporary crown in that visit. Everyone put my comfort and need as a priority! They were all very friendly, but their expertise and care was what impressed me the most. I also like that they ran everything through my insurance before they started on the root canal and crown so I knew the cost before they started. They have my highest recommendation.

Negative experience: They have terrible customer service. My father came in for denture and they were poorly made and don't fit his mouth at all. When asked for adjustments we were told he would have to sign a paper for responsibility. Then was kicked out for expressing how he wasted money on something he couldn't even use.. apon leaving after we were kicked out. The dental assistant got in my face and blocked me from leaving the room. Then they tried to call the police. The dentist needs to go back to her country if she can't treat people with kindness.. as an dental assistant myself. I am very displeased with the actions of this practice.

Fantastic experience: Update: Still using them a few years after my original post and they continue to be absolutely outstanding!!! The staff is Absolutely Fantastic. Got a cleaning from Matthew most recently and as usual was given the absolute best of care. I used to be scared of going to the dentist and now I am not because of how kind and caring they have been while I was undergoing major dental work. Now my teeth and healthy and beautiful and my fear is completely gone. I would recommend them to ANYONE.

Negative experience: Avoid this place if you can. They will upsell you on every product they offer. Went for a routine cleaning covered by my insurance and spent 1.5 hours having pictures taken then the billing rep said a general cleaning would have no benefit (not the dentist or tech but the billing rep) and I needed a deep cleaning that would be $900. Told them I would wait and on the way out they charged me $20 for a screening I didn’t consent to or made aware I would be charged. Wasted 2 hours and didn’t even get anything done then paid $20 for it. Also they have signs posted all around the office about leaving a positive review so I can only imagine how many are not a true representation of this business. **Edited for update, now my insurance is reaching out saying nothing they did was covered by insurance and I’ll be responsible for the entire bill, this business is a scam and needs to be investigated

Fantastic experience: Had my teeth cleaning for first time at Family Dental Care of Owasso and was very pleased. Matthew did my cleaning and did a great job. He is very gentle, knowledgable and gave helpful tips for home cleaning. I definitely want him to do all my cleaning. Negative experience: Service was amazing when it comes to the dentist and hygienist. However the office made a mistake and put the wrong amount of coverage for my account. I then had another visit and they allowed me to get that work done as well based on the information from my first visit not going thought. I was very surprised at this. They then offered for someone to call me back to discuss what they were going to do since they made a mistake. Well no one called. I then got a bill for the full amount. I called them and explained that I was expecting a call. They again told me someone would call me. I have not heard anything back. I have given them chances to resolve this issue without leaving a bad review. I am writing this review since I got an email asking for the balance. How can a company present you with a payment plan up front then knowing let you get more work done and not provide a updated payment plan. @familyDentistCareofOwasso you are welcome to reach out to me to resolve this issue

Negative experience: I have been a patient here, along with my children. On my last visit Dr Davis thought it was acceptable to ridicule my teeth and a previous doctor’s care, because he disliked it. Last week, my daughter went in with wisdom teeth concerns. She was quoted $2,000 to pull them. I called for clarification of what the charges are, etc, on Thursday afternoon. It’s Tuesday now. They aren’t concerned with returning calls, or apparently assisting a patient in pain. I would NOT recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at my recent dental appointment. I’m usually a nervous wreck going in but after this time, I felt comfortable and at ease. I even left smiling Jill was my hygienist and was AMAZING! She was super friendly and careful around areas of concern.

Fantastic experience: First time visiting the site. All staffs are professional and friendly. Request for sign language interpreter was provided and met. The Hygienist that worked on me knows a few signs. Their medical equipment was top notch. Very thorough in checking and even referred specialists should I need for further treatments.

Positive experience: They always do a great job. Just wish I would have been notified that my Dentist Todd Davis had moved to another location. I had a dentist come in that I had never seen before and had no idea who she was.

Fantastic experience: I was originally trying to find a new pediatric dentist for my kids, but all of the pediatric dental groups that were in network with my insurance had a 6 month to almost one year wait time for new patients. So I called Family Dental Care of Owasso. They were able to get both my kids an appointment within one week. The check in staff was very pleasant, and we spent very minimal time in the waiting room. The hygienists and dentist were amazing with both kids, and they got tokens for prizes at the end of the visit, which made them very excited. And the facility itself was very clean. We will continue using Family Dental Care of Owasso.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and the staff and doctor were so helpful and empathetic from getting me in quickly, navigating the financials and working swiftly to implement a treatment plan and resolution. Dr. Lawani was so patient and kind. I had another procedure done today with Dr Lulwani and Randa. They were amazing and did everything possible to make me feel relaxed and comfortable as well as working with me on a treatment plan and financials. I cant say enough good things about the staff here! Thank you all for what you do and thank you for working to make me feel whole again with my smile!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience at this dental location. Dr Lawani was so patient and explained exactly what was going to happen . The dental assistants Randa and Reianna were super sweet, they brought me a blanket and a neck pillow to make sure I was comfortable. Jillian was also very knowledgeable and helpful. Best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist… I hate going to the dentist but they made it much easier!

Negative experience: Not happy with any of the work I’ve had here. I don’t feel good about my teeth that had work done on them, they feel worse than before. Unfortunately, I will be leaving. I have found a doctor that cares enough to check thoroughly and make sure my overall health is good and not just being told that to get me out, and into my next appointment. I feel rushed, and not important. Dental work is not cheap so please just take your money somewhere else.

Negative experience: I showed up to my appointment for a simple teeth cleaning with my very happy toddler sitting in his stroller and was turned away and told to reschedule when I had a sitter for him. They are definitely not family friendly and we will not be back.

Negative experience: Scheduling called the day before and rescheduled my appointment 3 times in the year! 1 year later my teeth need a Good Dentist! I care about my teeth, since Family Dentistry doesn’t Care . Going to find another Dentist that’s caring

Negative experience: I had a crown replaced on 11/22/2023. They were nice, and I think they did a good job. However, they over charged me by $335.00 when they knew what my insurance would pay. I've called 4 or 5 times since the appointment to get a refund, and still no refund. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: (2023) The entire staff was amazing. Stephanie my hygienist is one of the best I have had. She explained everything in detail and did a phenomenal job making sure my teeth were clean and didn’t even stab me. My dentist Dr Lalwani was amazing as well. She was up front and told me what steps I need to do to fix my tooth that broke (a different dentist did not fully fix what was needed before). Overall it was excellent and definitely recommended coming here for anything dental (4/4/24) Once again the staff has exceeded my expectations. Dr Lalwani and Donna are amazing and excellent at what they do. I have had issues with a couple of teeth about a week apart and they were able to get me in and take care of what was needed to be done. I still highly recommend Family Dental Care of Owasso for any dental issues you have. They are amazing

Fantastic experience: Love the ladies there! They are so sweet, calming and caring! My 10 yr old is usually nervous and they put her to ease and are so caring towards her!
