Fantastic experience: Sunridge Dental Care at 6400 Central Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 is AMAZING!!! Their staff are professional and make your experience fun! They truly care about all their patients throughout the whole process. Prices are reasonable as well! My whole family uses Sunridge Dental Care! Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Positive experience: The dentist was amazing. He was kind and gentle when he did all my fillings. The two ladies that did my cleanings were kind of grumpy, young, and not gentle. My husband also had a not so great of time with them. They pulled his cheeks back so much and so harshly that he was swollen for two days. I suggest the head dentist speak to them about finding a new kind of approach, i.e. not so severe. The facility is very clean and has a nice ambient. The front desk reception is really nice.

Fantastic experience: Sunridge Dental is the best practice I have had the pleasure of being a patient. The staff are friendly, engaging, and incredibly professional. Unlike other practices, I have never felt judged or shamed for the state of my teeth. They are very accommodating and work with you to make the process as comfortable (and painless) as possible. They worked with me to minimize any issues and did not rush the process. Dr. Nouri is amazing, communicates clearly, and is extremely talented at what he does. If you're looking for a dentist, Sunridge is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I had horrible past experience with a dentist from about 10 years ago, who during a root canal didn't quite numb me properly and hurt me extremely bad. So for 10 years I gave up on dentists. Dr. Tony Schicktanz was so impressive, knowledgeable and very attentive to my anxieties, not only him but the Dental hygienist Isabella was amazing as well as the X ray tech. I left there feeling so happy, his exact words to me were, "I'm really sorry about your past experiences and I hope over the next few visits I can gain your trust." Sunridge Dental really made me feel like I'm safe and family. THANK YOU! UPDATE...3RD VISIT!! Sadly Dr. Tony Schicktanz left Sunridge, Dr. Alexander Nouri and Isabella his Hygentist are so incredible. I can't thank them enough for always making me feel comfortable, safe. I have FINALLY found my forever Dentist office.

Fantastic experience: I've had a few different procedures done here, and have a few more scheduled. This has honestly been the best dentist I have ever had any work done at. Everyone on the staff really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, and you can tell your well being really is a priority to them.

Negative experience: Make sure to keep your phone glued to your hip with these guys. I drove all the way from Los Lunas to find out they canceled my appointment because I didn’t answer their call. No courtesy I drove 30 minutes to get my cavities filled. Front staff was very unhelpful. Wish I could have gotten my work done here

Negative experience: Seems like they only care about getting paid. They told me one thing over the phone and something entirely different in person. There's no reason I should have had to drive the 30 minutes to their clinic when they could have informed me over the phone that my insurance wasn't going to cover the visit.

Fantastic experience: For over a decade my intense fear of more pain kept me from visiting any dentist. Finally the pain I was in lead to me to visit SunRidge. It took just about a year and over 6 visits to repair the damage and ease the pain. My anxiety for visiting dentist has been excruciating, almost debilitating, the incredible team at Sunridge is kind, patient, compassionate and extremely skilled at their jobs. I can not express my gratitude enough for them, while I still battle anxiety on every visit, atleast I go now. For anyone that has fear and kneebending anxiety when they need a dentist, visit Sunridge Dental, best Dr's and team. Thank you, Brandon B

Negative experience: This used to be an excellent dental office with great service. But it has fallen into disrepair. They push unneeded treatments on patients, threatening them if they do not agree to the treatments they demand. This office should be avoided because dentists are numerous in Albuquerque. One should not have to endure poor service and bullying hygienists to get dental care. Save aggravation and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: The people who work there are very nice and caring. The doctor is very attentive to my needs and is patient and answers all my concerns.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always very professional. I took my 94 year old mother yesterday who doesn't hear well and speaks only spanish. I told girl that worked on her and I thought she did a very good job with her. My visit today went very well. Both appointments were prompt. Little to no waiting. Very nice place.

Fantastic experience: NO PAIN; AWESOME CUSTOM WORKS!! Dr. Nori is top drawer and Sunridge is a fantastic dental office. The staff is super helpful, polite, and make sure you are taken care of from insurance to that friendly call reminder. TOOTH WORKS. I had an issue that another dentist messed up on a molar at the gum line. Dr Nori spent major time on excising the poor work on the bad molar and custom sculpted a filling and veneer that not only solved the issue, but went out of his way to use advanced materials that emit fluoride to help prevent issues in the future. He filled and sculpted 6 teeth that day at the gum line in back, thus preventing future issues. Before the procedure his staff pre-numbed the back nerves prior to injections. Didn’t feel a thing. His assistant was super diligent and made the 1.5 hour procedure comfortable. Was really relaxed, the office also plays kool music. Great experience overall. I’m going back for all my dental treatments. Thank you folks at Sunridge.

Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Sunridge Dental. I had my first appointment there today and in spite of my lifelong fear of having dental work I will definitely be a regular there from now on. Every staff member I encountered including the receptionist, the technician, the hygienist, the doctor and the financial assistant were incredibly kind, supportive and understanding of ALL my needs, limitations and handicaps. Everything they did was explained to me as we went along which also lessened my anxiety. The physical surroundings were also relaxing in appearance, musically, and temperature setting. When the air conditioner was blowing on me I was offered a blanket and I was also offered real sunglasses to block the light from my eyes. There was plenty of off street, enclosed parking too. This was, by far, the best dental experience I have ever had. My sincerest thanks and to Sunridge Dental!

Negative experience: My mother was a patient of the original business for years, and the owners were nice. Since the founders sold the business to Dr. Nouri, profit is extensively valued over patient care. My mother is a senior citizen on medicare, she received a call saying medicare wasn't accepted anymore and she could have a last cleaning, however, the business mistakenly scheduled her for a light cleaning rather than a deep cleaning, and said they would not make time to see her, so they just cancelled the appointment on the same day. I am a physician, and I can't imagine doing this to a patient, especially when it was their fault. Also, they are located in a part of town where many people use medicare, so if they are not accepting medicare they should move. I would not recommend patronizing this business.

Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety which makes going to the dentist a major challenge/obstacle for me. Dr Nouri and his team have been extremely accommodating for me and my specific needs and did a wonderful job helping to make me feel as comfortable and safe as possible. I had to get dental x-rays and two fillings redone and they were all very patient and understanding and kind to me. They even allowed a guest to sit with me for moral support and went at my pace. I will be going back for a cleaning and so far I would recommend Sunridge Dental to anyone looking for a great dental office.

Positive experience: Dr. Shicktanz is so sweet and thorough in his work. I have ASD among other medical issues and he was very informative and caring. I have never had my mouth checked for cancer at any dentist appointment in my life im 28... it was odd but very helpful. And I love knowing everything I can about what's going on with me because it makes me feel safe and secure, that I'm ok or will be ok. Fantastic experience: Dr. Schicktanz Is very caring , welcoming and knowledgeable. It was years since I had visited the dentist and he did not make me feel bad or any type of way like other dentist had in the past. He just addressed the issues and educated me along the way. You can tell Dr. Schicktanz genuinely cares about his patients. All of the dental assistants and front desk staff are just as caring and welcoming as Dr. Schicktanz. I am so grateful that I found this office and will be a life long patient.

Positive experience: The new staff wasn't like the previous. I was treated by a hygienist that was filling in and didn't understand the new scheme, another hygienist came in and the dentist didn't even know she was coming in to fill in. The dentist was robotic and didn't feel he was sincere . What happened to the previous staff? This dentist office feels more corporate ran than a family ran environment. I will search for another option.

Fantastic experience: I had my front tooth break in half at noon at work on a Friday before 4th of July holiday weekend. I am new to the area and don't know anyone. Sunridge Dental and Dr Nouri took me at a moments notice glued back on my tooth and made a plan for a more permanent fix- they were amazing and I will be going here from now on for my regular care.

Negative experience: My call was forwarded to there answering service. When I was checking in from my car. The person's at the front desk wanted me to come in the lobby to check in . They have caller ID and knew it was me . I've been treated differently by Dr Roukema and staff because I took my down payment back for teeth repairs that I changed my mind about.
