Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and it certainly won't be my last. The staff were excellent; they arranged everything for me, explained everything, and helped me as much as possible with treatment plans that fit my budget. Ivy was wonderful, and Christine was excellent; she broke down my fear barrier and simplified things for me. Lydia also made me feel welcome anytime.

Fantastic experience: Burns Dentistry has the latest technology to provide the best treatment and stress free experience I've ever had. A truly wonderful staff, from Scheduling (Amber & Ashley) to Receptionist (Susan) to X-rays (Reyna) to Higenist (Christine) to Treatment Coordinator (Lydia). Dr. Puha is knowledgeable, patient and attentive and provided me with multiple options for some much overdue treatment. By far, the best place I've been to in my 59 years.

Fantastic experience: The experience was outstanding. Starting with the receptionist, to Ivy with the walk around, to Mikaela, the hygienist who explain the procedure, to Doctor Collins who explain in detail my options for my health. Fantastic experience: My first visit to Burns Dentistry, Ivy and Christine made it a good one!

Positive experience: As soon as I walked into Burns Dentistry, I was greeted warmly and given a tour of the office. I appreciated the explanation of the different rooms and the welcoming atmosphere. I requested the free dental exam and X-rays and made it clear that was all I wanted. I also asked about a chipped tooth, and the doctor briefly checked it. I was not told that this would result in an additional charge. Later, I found out I had been charged $98 for that check, even though no one informed me beforehand. Their bedside manner is good, but they need to be much more clear—and repeat more than once, if something will cost extra. I asked, but I didn’t find out about the extra charge until afterward.

Negative experience: The staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable for something I don't normally like. However, they wanted to do about three times the amount of work for 10 times the cost compared to a dentist I am now seeing consistently. Their prices are absolutely insane, and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Considering that they service the elderly.... Please be careful what you sign up for here.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Burns Dental in Sun City West! Brittany was my hygienist and she was wonderful — so kind, attentive, and really thorough with my cleaning. Dr. Dodd was also super polite and made me feel completely at ease while providing excellent care. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and Amber at checkout was incredibly pleasant and helpful. You can really tell this office cares about their patients. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: This place is amazing!!! The most thorough xrays, more like 3D imaging. The staff were terrific and Dr. Holley was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also that was the best cleaning I've ever had. I definitely recommend this place, at least I will go back again. I want to acknowledge Dr.Holley, Candice and Mariah. They were truly awesome, very polite and helpful. Dr. Holley was extremely gentle, I didn't even feel the shot because they numbed my gums. Wonderful team, amazing office. I will be coming back regularly. I had to edit my review. The prices got outta control, especially when you don't have dental insurance. Unfortunately I can't afford to come back

Fantastic experience: This was the first dental appointment I have had in a very long time. I felt very comfortable from the time I arrived and was welcomed by Susan at the front desk to the time I left and was checked out with Amber. Dr Dodd and his dental assistant Sam were very compassionate and caring. Dr Dodd explained everything in detail and assured me my dental needs are repairable. Everyone works together as a team in this office and it is evident they all care about their patients. If you are afraid of dentists like I am, you need to go to Burns Dentistry in Sun City and make an appointment with Dr Dodd. You won’t be disappointed. I am looking forward to working with Dr Dodd and his team!

I have not had much luck, but I feel this one is the one. Receptionist was very welcoming. Next week I see the dentist hopefully that is good since it scares me another new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Please read entire post. Dr Burns and staff are absolutely amazing and I was duped by the other location. Dr burns location in sun city is still open. He sold the Litchfield park location. They were not allowed to tell patients. Dr burns is taking care of me and I will NEVER go anywhere else for dental work !!! … I had implants put in and now I’m having issues because there is cement down by the bone … they won’t fix it so now I have to go to a periodontist to get it fixed. I don’t have dental insurance and between my wife and I we have spent nearly 50,000$ at burns my wife Lupas and had 8 broken teeth .That’s unfortunate because we love Dr burns and his staff We are extremely grateful for everything and everyone. I’m just very disappointed that I’ll have to pay out of pocket to fix something that seems to be not my fault. I get my teeth cleaned every 3 months and I’ve done EVERY treatment recommended! I was contacted by Dr Burns staff today and I have an appointment to get this tooth fixed. It was a miss understanding they had sold one of their practices and those folks told me that nothing could be done. I’m so appreciative of Burns Dental!

Fantastic experience: Christine was absolutely amazing! She made sure I understood everything about my dental hygiene and she was very gentle with my cleaning. Reyna was very nice and made me feel comfortable as she took my X-rays. And Lydia was very helpful in booking my next appointment! All three were incredibly kind!

Fantastic experience: 5 star service from when I entered the office throughout the checkout process. I was greeting with a warm welcome from Susan who offered me water and got me checked in quickly. The excellent service continued with Paige, the hygienist assistant. If all the hygienists are as patient, kind and thorough as Christine, you can't go wrong. And lastly, Amber got me checked out quickly and I was on my way. I definitely recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I went in as a new patient for xrays and a cleaning. The front office "paperwork" had a glitch that wouldn't allow me to complete it, just kept circling, but we finally got past that. Paige was my medical assistant and Christine was my hygienist. I made it known upfront that there are several good dentists, but I was looking for a hygienist and boy, did she deliver! She carefully took xrays, workjng around my trigger gag reflex, and then used multiple modalitie to remove tartar and plaque, while shining my teeth to a pearly white. Best cleaning I've ever had hands down. Paige and Christine worked together like a well oiled machine and I was out of there in record time. Hands down the best hygienist I've experienced in the West valley.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at this office. Their use of state-of-the-art technology was impressive, but what really stood out was the incredible staff. Page gave me a great tour of the facilities, and Brittany’s step-by-step explanation of my dental care process was very helpful. I left feeling fully informed about my procedures and next steps.

Fantastic experience: I've had a lot of dental work over the years and am generally pleased with my dentists, assistants and hygienists. That being said, NONE have compared to the excellent, gentle and thorough care I get from Stephanie Collins, DDS. She is the best dentist I've had in 60 years of dental visits. Combined with the help of Sylwia, & cleanings with Mikaela, I've have never been happier and more at ease going to the dentist. The entire office is friendly and makes you feel more like a guest than a patient. If you want great, pain-free dental care along with a kind and friendly staff (and who wouldn't?), I highly recommend going to Stephanie Collins located at Burns Dentistry in Sun City.

Fantastic experience: This is my second year at Burns Dentistry and I couldn’t be more pleased. Everyone I have come in contact with is very friendly, caring and professional. I just finished a visit with Dr. Collins and am extremely pleased with the results — definitely a 5 star rating!

Negative experience: It truly breaks my heart to leave this review because I came to Burns Dentistry based on a trusted personal recommendation. After being a patient for a few years, I can no longer ignore the consistent issues I experienced. The front office staff was often cold and spoke down to me, which made every visit feel uncomfortable. Sadly, even the hygienists—who I hoped would be more gentle and understanding—rarely showed warmth or empathy. Instead of feeling cared for, I often felt judged. The biggest red flag was a billing issue where I was overcharged, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, I never received proper communication. It felt like they were just holding my money with no real intention of making it right. On top of that, I felt pressured into treatments I didn’t want or need. I’d come in for one procedure and be told it couldn’t be done—only to be pushed toward something more expensive. It started to feel like a bait-and-switch. I left appointments feeling swindled, not supported. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone. There are better dentists out there who will treat you with kindness, respect, and transparency—without making you feel like just another transaction.

Fantastic experience: Having had almost a mouthful of lumineers put on, I should not have been too nervous about having the rest of my old teeth done. But I was, mostly because my previous dentist whom I followed around had left. So Dr. Collin’s took over and was absolutely wonderful. She was quick to recognize that I came with a lot of fears and teeth baggage. Yes. I got medication and was numbed but it was Dr. Collin’s mannerisms and calming techniques that relaxed me enough to allow her to get the job done. The outcome was a wonderful success. My bite is lining up and I sure have beautiful teeth throughout my whole mouth! I must also give credit to Sylvia, her assistant for knowing each step of the procedure. My temporaries fell off twitch and she was the one to glue them back in. Yes, it was a rough 2 weeks until my crowns were made but so with it. At the end, I got a refund for additional work not needed. I must also mention Susan’s welcoming smile and always knowing my name when I arrived. “It takes a village” are so true even at a dentist office. I always receive the best of care for checkups and teeth cleaning but this was an exceptional experience where everyone had to work together. I thank Burns Dentistry for hiring the best. I drive all the way from Cave Creek so that must say something. I will be recommending this dentist, Dr. Stephanie Collin’s to all my exercise friends at Silver Sneakers. Fantastic experience: I went in for a tooth extraction and they were really great, quick, and accommodating. My Dr made sure I felt no pain. It took him all of 10-15 mins to remove 2 teeth. It’s clean, they have new tech toys you don’t see at the bigger dental places. All in all I would recommends. Nice people with amazing customer service!!

Fantastic experience: My ex-wife and I were petrified of the dentist. The staff is AMAZING. Super friendly if you get anxious they will happy stop to make sure you are comfortable. Honestly wish id found them sooner. I had 2 crowns put on and I didnt feel a thing. They know what they are doing over here.

Fantastic experience: My visit to Burns Dentistry was to establish a new dentist. Susan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The X-ray tech was Page and the hygienist was Brie. They were both friendly and helpful, and they both had a good sense of humor. The ladies at the checkout desk - Lydia, Katie and Suzette - were very nice and helpful. I really appreciated that everyone I dealt with called me by my preferred name. All in all, I’m impressed and happy with Burns Dentistry so far. I would recommend them highly.

Negative experience: Saw the advertisement for free xrays and exams for new patients. Great offer! So I mentioned the ad when reservations were made. I was greeted and toured the facility. Got my xrays, and was told to schedule my exam in 2 weeks. Fantastic! Great professionalism, made my next appointment, doctor was great,very thorough, set up treatment plan. Wonderful! Setting up next appointment, the "free" exam is $95! Wait,what? I'm a New Yorker. That's bait and switch. I just love when you get charged for a free exam. There's no way in hell that for as long as Burns has been in business that there was a miscommunication about any upfront fees. I have gone to a few different dentists over the years that offered a free exam and NEVER had this happen. I will probably go to collections over this matter, but I refuse to pay for a free offer. If the practice is as clean and professional as it seems,with friendly and educated staff, then there should be no difficulty in being forthcoming about fees that would avoid my embarrassment as well as your review casting the same.....

I found out why the facility is impressive and the initial exam so thorough. They are extremely pushy and very expensive. They did not credit me with the intelligence to know what kind of dental services I wanted. It was do it their way. Very rude and condescending.

Fantastic experience: From the first phone call until my appointment. I was treated with respect & all my questions concerning accepting my insurance were answered. Rayna, Dr Puha were patient with me & went over all my options for treatment. No pressure. Suzette was very efficient getting my next appointment scheduled. I would definitely recommend Burns Dentistry

Fantastic experience: This office has very friendly staff from the time you walk in the door until you leave. Briana cleaned my teeth today and did an AMAZING job! I had several tea stained teeth in the front that have been this way for many years - even after other hygienist have cleaned them. After Briana did her magic, they are so pretty again!!! And, she was so gentle cleaning all my teeth. I will definitely go back again!

Fantastic experience: The fact that there is a tour of the facility prior to the first visit is indicative of the size and breadth of services. Where I had my cleaning there was a large monitor where each tooth was inspected and any problems were explained in detail. Wonderful staff, from check-in with Susan, to checkout with Suzette, and Paige and Mikaela focusing on making my teeth spotless. Well done, thanks and see you in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit, the moment I walked in I was greeted with welcoming smiles, I got checked in and waited less then 5 minutes to be seen. The dental assistant was so sweet. The xrays took all of 5 minutes and the provider was in very shortly after, he was extremely nice and even found a cavity i didnt wven know I had. They told me exactly what was going on and what I needed fixed and how much it would cost me with my insurance right there in the room. They were courteous, professional and super fast about getting me in and out so I could return to work. I am extremely pleased with this new office. I had been struggling to find a new dentist where I felt comfortable. I am happy I found Burns dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Had appt on Apr 24th - Great experience. Very nice setting, very professional staff. Susan, Brianna, Paige and Suzette took great care in helping me with my 1st appt. I was given a tour and of the facility which was explained nicely. Staff was gentle and kind. I have not met dentist yet, but look forward to it soon - I have great confidence the dentists will be excellent! I highly recommend Burns Dentistry!
