Fantastic experience: Words cannot express how grateful I am to be a patient of Dr. An Nguyen. Not only is he an excellent dentist, he is a very warm and friendly doctor. Dentist appointments aren’t fun and are stressful. Dr. A was reassuring, patient and skilled. I had two emergency encounters with him and his staff. I could not have received better and more welcoming care. Thank you.

Negative experience: I’m honestly unsure how this office has so many 5-star reviews. Over the last year and a half, we’ve had repeated issues, from constant appointment rescheduling to being pressured into services my husband and I were told we “needed,” such as deep cleanings, which multiple second opinions later confirmed were unnecessary. The final straw was receiving a balance for a procedure from March that was already paid in full, followed by another unexpected invoice nine months later. None of it adds up, and the lack of clear or consistent billing is concerning. At this point, I no longer feel confident in the transparency or integrity of this office and will be reporting the situation to the appropriate channels. It feels as though revenue is prioritized over patient care, and that’s unacceptable. I would strongly encourage others to review their bills carefully and consider other providers.

Fantastic experience: My first visit at this office was Great. The staff was so nice, Cre is Awesome and Dr. Nguyen is the Best, I am looking forward to working with all of them.

Fantastic experience: This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’ve worked in 3 different dental office and I would recommend this one over those! All staff were polite, welcoming, comforting and professional! I had to have an emergency extraction and everything went seamlessly and smoothly! I have found my new dental office and I have no intention on leaving any time soon!

Fantastic experience: My first visit experience at Youngsville’s Dental Clinic was ASTOUNDING! The entire team is professional, friendly and truly cares about their patients. The clinic is clean and welcoming. Dr An Nguyen possesses an attitude of compassion, trust and integrity that put my mind at ease from previous bad experiences. He takes time to explain everything clearly. He doesn’t rush the process and explains why and makes sure I’m comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nguyen and his staff are amazing!! If I could give them 1000 stars, I would! Highly recommend for pediatrics and adult dental care. My kids were 3 and 5 when we switched to Dr. Nguyen's office and they were so gentle and loving to them and still are every time we go. I've recently had dental issues (because I never make time for myself to get taken care of) and they've gotten me in ASAP. They take their time to educate and explain what's needed and from the moment you walk in and talk to the front desk until check out with the sweetest checkout ladies, it is nothing but top notch! Absolutely love this place and we will never leave!

Negative experience: First off, the DR here double and triple books hisself. I spent 5 hours there one day because he comes in your room works on you for 5 minutes and goes to another patient’s room, and so on. I’ve never been somewhere where your allotted appointment time isn’t time that is spent with you as a patient. Secondly, I needed a partial adjustment and they did it while the whole right side of my mouth was numb. Tell me how I’m supposed to tell you how it feels when my mouth is numb?! Thirdly, I needed a crown, they did the impression and put a temp crown that fit my partial. I waited 4 weeks and did not receive a call. It took me 1 whole week and 4 voicemails to finally get someone on the phone, who tells me, we call you when your crown comes in, puts me on hold and now all of a sudden my partial is there. No telling how long it had been there. I spent over $1500 for fillings and a crown. I go to my appointment this morning and of course he is seeing multiple patients at one time, I let the DR know after 1 hour of being there that I needed to get to work. After saying that, now all of a sudden my crown was made too bulky and doesn’t fit my partial and he tells me I need a new partial!!!!! What You obviously didn’t do your job correctly starting with the impression! How you gonna tell me after spending that much money on work and a crown that I now need a new partial? People don’t have money growing on trees, if this would have been done correctly I wouldn’t be having this problem. If you wouldn’t be seeing multiple patients at one time this would have not been rushed and done correctly. Safe to say I will NOT be returning to this office!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Went in with a broken tooth anxiety through the roof scared. They were so wonderful. The staff all of them calmed me down. Remove the tooth. The dentist even called me the next morning to check on me because he knew how nervous and worked up. I was absolutely no pain the next day or that night Wonderful, wonderful dentist.

They went above and beyond to not only make me feel comfortable, but also to explain everything they were doing thoroughly, answered all my questions without hesitation, and all around were genuinely nice people. Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist office you will find!! The women at the front desk were really welcoming. The staff there is also very sweet, patient and very informational with the status of your health. I definitely will recommend to everyone to come to this dentist office.

Negative experience: Sat in the lobby a whole hour just to be brought back and have them say they can’t do a cleaning bc I have braces. I called other dentists who said they have never heard of this before.

I moved to Lake Charles in 2021 and I still make the drive for my exams, the staff and Dr. An are wonderful, I just can't make the change to a different dentist closer to me, I will travel for good, honest, friendly service, keep up the good work y'all!

Fantastic experience: I called to schedule an appointment & they could see me as early as the next day, I was in and out! The dental assistants were very informative, clear, & kind. They answered all my questions and made sure I was always comfortable. I would definitely recommend! 10/10!

Negative experience: Terrible...They tell you that you owe nothing but you get a bill for a ridiculous amount. Front desk is very rude and always says the insurance will pay but again you get a bill.

Negative experience: Do not recommend!! My husband got an appointment scheduled and when we called to verify the time we're told "I don't know why you were scheduled that day because actually all hygienists and dentist are out that day." This was in January, the next available appt was April. Two days before the appt in April they called and said the time THEY scheduled for (1hr) for cleaning was not enough time. I assumed the person scheduling the appts would know how much time to block for said procedure. How would I know?? They're response everytime is " I don't know why ""THEY"" did that, sorry" and next date available is 4 months from now. Ridiculous!

Negative experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in about 4-5 years due to covid, and lack of insurance. I finally got dental insurance in October, and called all around to every place I could find, searching for somewhere that was excepting new patients, and would be covered by my insurance. I finally scheduled my appointment in November of 2024, and was so excited I finally found somewhere that "excepted it" and was willing to take a new patient! My appointment was scheduled for April 11 (tomorrow), and they had told me I would be put on the priority list if there were any cancellations. I’m assuming this is because i’ll be 21 in 10 days, and my insurance will no longer be covering me. But I kept the appointment scheduled, figuring this will be better than nothing at all. Just for me to get a call the morning before my appointment saying that my insurance is no longer valid there. THE MORNING BEFORE?? I could have been on the look out for another dentist that actually excepts my insurance for months now! But now I was forced to cancel the appointment I’ve been looking forward to, because I don’t just have $200-$900 to just straight up spend for a check up and cleaning. This is my first review ever written, and I’m very disappointed to say the least.

Fantastic experience: I was Dr. An Nguyen's patient for years. From my very first appointment he has been great. He introduced himself and was genuinely curious about my life remembering me every visit. He would ask for updates and remember specific details from our conversations. I moved away a few years ago and recently returned as a patient. Dr. An picked up right were we left off. He treats his patients like family and provides the highest level of care each visit. Dr. An and his team at Youngsville Dental Care are incredible!

Negative experience: Have been pleased with most of my visits until now. My insurance and I paid towards a partial I’ve never received for one reason or another. Now… I can no longer wear it due to other issues I’m facing. I want my money back. And I’ll never go back for any service. Take me off your patient list.

Fantastic experience: Claudia was both knowledgeable with all questions I had related to my dental care and sociable with off topic conversation that made being there enjoyable. Dr. A gave me tips on dental care that I never realized was happening in my own mouth. There’s no judgement, only care.

Positive experience: I felt they were very thorough. I believe the process could have been better if they would have looked to see that my paperwork had been completed well before the appointment day. They would have known it had only been 6 months since my last cleaning, and I could have gotten my teeth cleaned during that appointment.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely dreaded going to get necessary work done on my teeth. Dr. Laura and her staff went above and beyond to help me to be absolutely comfortable and instilled confidence that I didn’t feel petrified anymore. They were kind and had a sense of humor and smiled and kept me posted every step of the way during the procedures of what was coming up and when they were doing it. I didn’t feel like I was “left out” of my own treatment plan at all. I went in knowing every detail of what was going to happen and left knowing they’re an awesome team. Especially my two hygienists (I can’t remember names sorry!!) and Tyler (I remember that one!) for just being great. So thank you Dr. Laura and thank you to your team! I totally recommend this place.

Negative experience: Please re-train whoever answers insurance questions. She did not seem very knowledgeable regarding the questions I had and gave me very broad answers. I probably would have become a new patient had she actually tried to be informative and helpful.

Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist — Bethany, I believe — was the best part of my whole experience. She was so gentle with my sensitive teeth and gums, and due to her careful attention, my cleaning was far less painful than it has been in the past. She was also very kind and courteous.

Fantastic experience: I switched to Youngsville Dental after my previous dentist rescheduled me multiple times due to staff absences. Youngsville Dental was able to see me for my first appointment within 2 weeks of calling. I had to bring my 3 month old with me to my appointment due to some unforeseen circumstances. The staff was great with him and even fed him while the dentist finished my appointment. The level of customer service and care are 10/10.

Negative experience: Worst front office! They reschedule and cancel appointments frequently. I waited 4 months for my appointment and someone from front office cancelled it by mistake. They don’t have any concern to accommodate me in different time slot too. I will change my dentist and will never visit again.

My experience with both Dr. Gerace and Shannon (dental hygienist) have been exceptional. I am encouraged to have procedures that I have put off for years because of pain and anxiety. Both have worked w/me and made me feel comfortable in every way possible. They also have patience and understanding of my situation.
