Our Ped Dentist wasn’t able to see us for 3 days and also couldn’t guarantee they would be able to fix it that day! So thankful for Dr Connor & his staff! Will be transferring all of our care out to him!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place. On veterans day they offered free dental work. I went to get a tooth extracted and while there i had x-rays that revealed that I needed two crowns and only charged me for the labs and not the work. I highly recommend anyone needing dental work to come here.

Negative experience: Our appt was at 2 P.M. & we got there on time & my daughter didn’t even get called back to the back till 4 P.M. & didn’t get done & out of there till 5:30 P.M.! And if we are late or miss an appt it’s $50 or $75 can’t remember but I have to set there’d door 3 1/2 hrs why don’t we get some kind of compensation for our time!!!

Negative experience: Wait times were long, possibly because they just opened their new office, but it was not ideal. If you have a busy schedule like myself it might not be the place for you.

Positive experience: Arrived early for my appointment. Went to desk and waited to be acknowledged. After getting noticed was told to have a seat cause he was checking someone out and would call me up when done. After sitting over 20 min and 10 min. past my appointment, went to desk and told them I wanted them to know I have been waiting to check in. Hygienist was told I was in waiting room and she said she was about to call me to reschedule me, thinking I was late. Been coming to clinic for over 15 years. New staff. Leslie, the hygienist, was very sweet. The girl that checked me out very nice. Love Dr Katron. Everything else was good.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Catron for many years. He takes his time and explains things well on the X-rays. I have had a lot of work done on my teeth and he has done great!! His staff is always very friendly and do a great job!!!

Fantastic experience: First I'd like to say that the office staff of Van Buren Family Dentistry are wonderfully compassionate, very efficient and caring. Full of patience. The dentists although I don't see very often seem to be very patient, and they have been kind. So I would recommend the Van Buren Dental Clinic without any reservation whatsoever. THEY'RE GREAT.

Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing! The staff is professional, nice and very accommodating. If you do not have dental insurance they have a nifty financing program and really go the extra mile to help you set it up. By far the best dentistry through-out Crawford and Sebastian counties, I highly recommend them under their current management! 5 stars+

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice and helpful. I have always been a bit shy about seeing the dentist. At 67 years old I had my first tooth pulled and it was uneventful. We developed a plan for further treatment before I went home. I highly recommend these folks.

Negative experience: I do not like the new staff especially the front desk staff. They are rude and snobby. Doctor is rude and they are not the same place they used to be. Not impressed at all. We have been coming here for years. Im not impressed at all with your 12 years of experience if your rude and don't speak kindly to the parents. Anyways hope you don't loose all your patients.

Negative experience: Over the past year, the quality of service at this office has really declined. The staff doesn’t seem as friendly or attentive as they used to be. My usual hygienist must have left, and I was switched to someone new without any notice or explanation. We’ve also had ongoing issues with communication. We were waiting on insurance approval for our kids, but never received any follow-up calls. One time, I raised a concern about my child’s tooth, but it was brushed off because the office was busy that day. I was told it was just a baby tooth when it was actually an adult tooth which was extremely frustrating. It often feels like the doctor is rarely in the office. While there are still a few great front desk staff, I’m disappointed in how things are progressing overall. I hope they can get back to the level of care and professionalism they once had.

Fantastic experience: Most awesome staff and the Dentist is thorough and doesn’t see your mouth as money. He honestly will do his best to do other remedies before doing something drastic. He is the best dentist I have ever been to!!! He really cares!

Fantastic experience: My first time and it was a great experience. The dentist and dental assistant were very attentive and informative. my tooth extraction didn't hurt at all, I felt very comfortable! I really liked the dental assistant because she knew I didn't understand much English, she spoke very slowly and explained a lot of things to me! Too bad I forgot to ask her name! Will definitely be back and will refer my family there.

Fantastic experience: I had had the same Dentist for decades and he retired. Out of respect for him I stayed with his business using the new Dentist. I used the office for about two years. The new Dentist did some work that had to be redone twice. I never saw the same Dental hygienist. I am so much happier here. I have only been a client for about a year, but feel confident in the People who take care of me.

I was taken back and treated quickly, professionally, and by a very professionally personable dental hygienist. Dentist was very efficient, thorough, and professional. Hygienist explained my dental treatment plan options, answered questions and kindly got onto me for not wearing my night guard to help save the grinding down of my teeth. Finally, I was taken to check out and met with the same smiles, kindness, professionalism, and efficiency. I was extremely satisfied as always and left with a smile and teeth professionally cleaner which always feels excellent. Thank you all for your excellent dental care and friendly customer service. Positive experience: Liked the dentist very friendly. My son has never missed an appointment received 2 emails or messages saying they have implemented a new policy where they charge their customers $50 dollars if you don't show up or cancel at the last minute. Even though I understand the reasoning behind the policy as a single dad living dollar to dollar that scares me because with a young child sometimes things happen at the last minute. Set rules for people that no call no show on you not the rest of us. I really hated changing dentist for my son because of this. I do understand why you do this, but as a customer it's just not something that fits well.

I've been going to Family Dentistry for over 15 years and everyone there is very kind, answers all of questions and plays good music while I'm in the dentist chair. I recommend Family Dentistry at all ages.

Fantastic experience: Van Buren Family Dentistry is great. I’ve used them for years. Dr Catron is terrific but my favorite is Lisa. We always have the best conversations (or at least the best you can have with someone’s fingers in your mouth!)

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t ask for better service, everyone is always so helpful and informative they go out of their way to get us taken care of, whether it’s getting us in quickly at the last minute, helping to get information that I have trouble getting, or helping my boys understand things as they are becoming adults and taking over their own healthcare. Most places don’t realize how delicate and complicated the transition is for teenagers; but here they are understanding, patient, and make the process smooth. The ladies in the office have never once acted or sounded rude or irritated even when I know I have unintentionally been an inconvenience, they were still kind and compassionate. Also, I really appreciate the appointment reminders, they are the only place I have done business with who sends an appointment reminder the day of the appointment which has been a lifesaver and I don’t know why more healthcare providers of all kind don’t do this? It’s very easy to get distracted or tied up a few hours before an appointment and end up missing it even after confirming the day before. So, I am so very grateful for the outstanding care, support, and understanding from all the people in this office and I wholeheartedly recommend them to any and every person in need of dental care for themselves and their families.

I also LOVED the extra touch of the receptionist wearing headset phones so you don’t sit there and just hear the phones ring off the hook the whole time you are there! Negative experience: The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but seemed somewhat inexperienced. The doctor was nice but didnt explain anything he was doing, and wasnt nearly careful enough. My girlfriend went in to have a tooth pulled, and as they were pulling it they hit a tooth on the top of her mouth, which is now sensitive and loose. I would recommend them for regular cleanings and checkups, but not for actual operations. My girlfriends teeth are visibly very weak, and they should have been much more careful with her. She said when they were pulling the tooth she could tell how much strength he was using, and that if the tool slipped it wouldve gone straight into her gums.
