Fantastic experience: I had a bad experience with my old dentist so I decided to find a new place. I work with technology, and artificial intelligence recommended this place to me. I have done my 2 implants( takes about 10minutes )and 1 crown (takes 10minutes)today. It was impressive)) Very fast very professional. Very good, qualified staff. Very friendly receptionist. Very clean and cozy place. They explain everything to you. Love this place and people ❤️

Fantastic experience: The people here are very nice and welcoming. Dr Bhawna Gupta was able to see me as an emergency walk in. I was very grateful to her and the dental team as i was in so much pain. Dr Gupta is so nice and went over my procedure very thoroughly. Thanks Sunnyvale Dental team!

Positive experience: Dr. Sah and Dr. Sebastian are incredible! I have always had major anxiety at the dentist but they were both very accommodating and patient with me. Today I saw Dr. Sebastian and his assistant who was great! I now travel from Pleasant Hill to Sunnyvale just to see them. Only frustration is that each appointment I’ve gone to I’ve been seen 30-45 minutes past my appointment time. Lupe at the front desk has been very helpful and will constantly check in with the back to see where they are at with the previous appointment. The office manager has also been amazing when it came to a scheduling issues with the doctors. Robin who is part of the Invisalign team was also amazing! I’m satisfied with the service here.

Negative experience: Very Disappointed with Dr. Gupta’s Invisalign Service I had a really frustrating experience with Dr. Gupta and her Invisalign treatment. After nearly two years, my two front teeth are still not straight, and honestly, my case wasn’t even that complex. At the start, she promised that my teeth would be straight in less than 8 months if I kept my trays in while eating. That was clearly not the case. Most of my check-ins were handled by her medical assistants, who often gave me trays that weren’t even tracking properly. I only saw Dr. Gupta a handful of times, and when I did, I had to wait for hours just to get a few minutes with her. On top of that, she seemed to downplay my concerns and even suggested veneers as a solution, without doing a proper re-scan analysis through Invisalign. When I asked for a partial refund for the retainers I paid for but never received, they offered me a non-disclosure agreement about an insurance mistake instead of actually addressing the issue. There were also several instances when I drove to the office, only to be told that my trays weren’t ready, despite them confirming by phone that they would be. They tried to pressure me into getting a cleaning, even though they’re not my primary dentist.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a consultation and exam to see about options, initially due to a broken capped upper lateral tooth. The office spent about 3-4 hours with me, being reviewed by 3 different doctors and the lab tech, and I also sat with the billing specialist. I personally liked how they were ALL very friendly, with happy attitudes to answer all of my questions, describing to me every detail of a possible procedure I was looking at. I was very impressed and thankful for this office team! I have never in my life experienced anything like this. These people were soooo very patient and so happy to help! Dr. Gupta is the model person with model teeth of her own! Very beautiful people! I will be deciding what option I want to take for my mouth problems.

Fantastic experience: I got a complicated root canal and crown done with Dr. Shruthi. She is very patient, knowledgeable, and very empathetic towards the patients. Dental assistants are all friendly and skilled. The front desk, as always, is very friendly and accommodating. They communicate all the billing and scheduling details proactively.

Fantastic experience: First, I want to sincerely apologize to my dentist for doubting him when I thought he had pulled the wrong tooth and for sharing my concerns online. He assured me that everything was done correctly, and he was absolutely right. Today, during my root canal, I finally faced the reality of my dental fears. I was quite nervous, but rather than letting that anxiety overwhelm me, my dentist took the time to calm my nerves and reassure me that I was in good hands. I’m grateful to say that it was the most painless root canal experience I've ever had. Thank you, Doc, for helping me overcome one of my lifelong fears! ✌

Negative experience: I honestly don't know how this place has so many positive reviews. This place is the car dealership equivalent of a dentist, sales driven. Oddly excited about good credit scores, good insurance, etc. kept pushing me to open a care credit account to get Invisalign. The dentist told me I needed 6+ crowns, and other providers said I needed one, post-root canal. I came here for an emergency dental appointment. Got a temporary crown, which never stayed in place. I returned to put it back in, fell out again in minutes. Now at my current dentist, also had a temporary crown place, post root canal, stayed so well I forgot I had it. I'm so scarred from Sunnyvale Dentistry that my current dentist asked me, " why are you so nervous about a temporary crown?" Sunnyvale Dentistry put a permanent crown on, doesn't match my teeth, not the right color, not the proper size, it looks like someone shoved a chiclet into my mouth - my current dentist was surprised. The day of the crown appointment at Sunnyvale, I asked to have the crown adjusted, but I was dismissed. Afterwards, Dr. Gupta was in the waiting room, chatting with her friend, I waited patiently to speak with her, and she just walked away and completely ignored me. They carelessly shoved a crown, and got my money. The lack of consideration has been bothering me for months! It's a shame because I truly trusted this dentist, which was a mistake. I'm so disappointed and ashamed of my smile thanks to Sunnyvale Dentistry. Now that I have a great and professional dentist elsewhere, I realize how rough this place actually is. I hope this review helps others.

Fantastic experience: Easy, Reassuring, Worth it. Moving back home to San Jose, I came to find a new dentist for routine exam & cleaning. Before I left that day, I signed up for an Invisalign treatment because of the recommendation by Dr. Gupta to improve & take care of the health of my teeth. But, the whole team at Sunnyvale Dental Care made me feel comfortable, safe & confident throughout the process. Emma & Fee especially drew me in to feel more confident with starting Invisalign here, gladly providing information & personal anecdotal experience with the treatment. In the beginning of my Invisalign treatment, I was so close to cancelling it & not proceeding with the initial IPR (Interproximal Reduction) procedure, for fear of the risk of mistakes (because of the horror stories of patients at other clinics which read on the internet). But the team there was able to fill me with reassurance, especially again Emma, Fee, & finally Robin. Robin took care of the IPR along with a majority of the rest of the treatment, & it went easy peasy. I am forever grateful to Robin, for her expertise & care, & would easily recommend anybody to have her help them with Invisalign. Many thanks again to the whole Sunnyvale Dental Care team, for helping my smile, & though I am not yet finished with the treatment, & then soon moving to live somewhere else, I greatly look forward to the days I am able to visit, talk, & receive further treatments.

Negative experience: After my personal experience I will definitely stay away from this clinic. I'm new to the area and looked for a new reliable place for examinations and cleanings. I went to Sunnyvale Dental Care in June 2025. They did examination and cleaning. The cleaning hurt a lot, I felt like they were hurting my gum with a knife. I never experienced anything like this and I do cleanings regularly. As for the examination, they told me I have cavities on my wisdom teeth and I need to have crown on a bunch of teeth. The treatment plan came up to almost $15k. I was shocked because I visit the dentist regularly and I never heard that I have so many problems. Something felt weird about the diagnosis and the plan so I asked for copies of the x-rays so that I can get a 2nd opinion. They said they need to wait for insurance to reimbursement them. I waited patiently for a few months and emailed them 3 -4 months later. They didn't reply to my email. I ended up calling them and they said I have to pay $40 for the x-rays if I want them to be emailed to me. I said it's ridiculous, since my insurance already covered the appointment long time ago. They eventually emailed them to me without an extra charge. I then asked my friends for recommendations for dentists and one of those dentists happily agreed for me to email him the x-rays. He said there are no visible cavities in those x-rays. I emailed Sunnyvale Dental Care again and asked for x-rays where I can see the cavities and this was the response "You’re correct that the specific view showing the cavities on your wisdom teeth may not be clearly visible in the x-rays we provided. However, Dr. Gupta’s treatment recommendation is based on her thorough clinical examination during your visit, which included both visual inspection and assessment of your x-rays. We understand you’re getting a second opinion, which is always a good idea for peace of mind. We’d be happy to have you come back to the office so Dr. Gupta can review her clinical findings with you in detail and answer any questions you may have about the recommended treatment." So basically they offered me to get a 2nd opinion with the same dentist. Nice try. Today, November 18th 2025 I went to another dentist for examination, I was already mentally prepared to hear about needing to get a bunch of work but no, he said my teeth are perfectly fine, he said there's some dark spots from staining but that there are zero cavities. I'm still shocked about this whole story and how I was almost convinced to do unnecessary and expensive work on my teeth. On top of this, they keep spamming me with emails advertising their invisalign services which I don't need.

Negative experience: I used to love this place. They would be so attentive, friendly, and quick to serve. The place now seems to have changed management or staff. Now, they are dismissive and rude. I went in for a cleaning and there was a Hispanic dental assistant and the dentist was extremely rude, condescending, and yelling at him while she was “cleaning” my teeth. I say “cleaning” because she didn’t clean my teeth. I went home and my teeth were not cleaned at all. I went to another clinic to get my service and since I had already used my insurance I had to pay out of pocket. Now, my husband called to make an appointment yesterday. They did not answer. They called him back while he was at work and received three missed calls. He was finally able to answer the phone call and scheduled an appointment for today at 11am. He arrives and they notify him that there is no appointment for him and to an hour if he’d want to be seen. The receptionist was not at all friendly and spoke to him in a condescending matter. We have noticed that the demographics in the office have changed and now don’t seem to want to serve those of Hispanic ethnicity. The only demographic there is of north and East African descent, white, Asian. I’m disappointed in their lack of service and coldness towards us. I am moving dentists and I would not recommend this place at all. They should receive consequences for their apparent biases, prejudices, and discrimination.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Cupta's office today for implant. So far so good! Dr. Gupta and her team members were all very friendly, explained clearly everything to me. I had my 2nd major appointment for my tooth implant yesterday, for D6010. Everything went through smoothly, only that waited a bit too long. Today was my 3rd major appointment on my implant. Everything was very good, the people and the services, only that it was a bit too long waiting, almost an hour.

Fantastic experience: I had my implant surgery done today. I was very nervous at first but it actually went above and beyond my expectations. All the staff was very nice and explained every step as my appointment went on. The actual procedure went fairly fast and was able to handle it w/ ease. I had very little pain after the surgery and was almost back to normal by the end of the evening. Thank you so much for a job well done. I highly recommend Sunnyvale Dental Care if you ever need an implant procedure done.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sah and this clinic pulled off an amazing feat. My 98 year old mother suffered long term pain and sensitivity in one side of her mouth and was chewing food only on the other side for many months. She did not want her troubling, infected tooth / teeth extracted and replaced by a partial denture. Dr Sah after a detailed examination concluded that her tooth (with a shallow surface crack and extensively infected root) could indeed be saved with a root canal followed by fitting a zirconium crown. It has all worked out better (and faster) than we realistically hoped for. Mama is now pain free, chewing food comfortably with both sides of her mouth, and enjoying her new and well-fitting crown.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Sunnyvale dental care from past few years but I want to mention Dr. Vijay Sah particularly as I had past few filling and cleaning treatments with him. He consistently provides a comfortable and pain free experience. His calm reassuring manner helps easy any anxiety making him an excellent choice for patients who are sensitive to pain.I highly recommend him to anyone who is nervous about dental work.

Negative experience: I’ve had the worst experience with this dental clinic. Twice in a row, they scheduled my appointment, made me wait for almost an hour, and then cancelled it. No respect for people’s time at all. I recently moved to this city and chose them to be my new dentist. That was clearly a big mistake. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values their time.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked an appointment to get three cavities filled, got painful numbing shots, and then was told my teeth were “actually fine.” Instead, the dentist tried to sell me cosmetic procedures. I even took time off work for this. complete waste of time, money, and trust.

Fantastic experience: I must say the staff is outstanding at multiple locations. The staff is dedicated to making clientele feel safe and surrounded with positive vibes. The doctor that did my wisdom teeth extraction in Sunnyvale has made me feel extremely safe and taken care of as well as the doctor located in Morgan Hill, who had done my consultation. I had made it very clear that I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks and they were there for me the entire way. Not only did the doctors do an amazing job the staff all around did amazing I had especially appreciated Lupe for being honest real and kind ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Negative experience: If I could give this place a zero, I would. Do not waste your time or money here. The experience was incredibly frustrating from the start. The dentist didn’t even examine my teeth before jumping straight into an AI scan to “show” me what I needed. They claim it’s to help patients understand, but it feels like a pitch for Invisalign, even if you’re not interested. Instead of asking if you’re open to Invisalign, they push a scan right away, wasting your time if you don’t want it. The office is also cramped, and the staff doesn’t respect privacy. You can hear every conversation, including one of the dental assistants talking about rushing through cleanings to get everyone out before lunch. This resulted in a rushed cleaning, which shows their focus on quantity over quality. The front desk is chaotic and disorganized. They were loud and inconsiderate, discussing personal patient information in a very unprofessional manner, which completely undermines confidentiality. In short, this office feels more like a sales pitch than a place that cares about patient care. The doctors here seem to care more about upselling than providing genuine dental services. I highly recommend looking for a different dental office.

Fantastic experience: I have been avoiding the dentist for a long time but glad I found this place. Dr. Vijay explains everything step by step and does not push anything on me which I love and I did NOT feel my root canel even afterward. Front desk ladies are super nice and helpful and helps with the billing portion which I am soo lost in. Glad I found this place and will be coming here more.

Positive experience: They usually keep you waiting for a long time (30+ mins), which is so annoying because they mess up with your schedule if you have something else to do that day. It’s been 4 times that I had to miss or reschedule some other appointments. Also the Invisalign technician was not knowledgeable enough on my issue. That’s frustrating because it has been delaying my treatment.

Negative experience: I used to have an amazing experience at Sunnyvale Dental Care before the new management took over. The previous dentists truly cared about patients, and it always felt like they prioritized quality care. Unfortunately, things have changed now it feels more about maximizing profits and less about patient well-being. Really disappointed to see the shift.

Fantastic experience: Today my 14yo gave them hardest time with her sensitive teeth after Invisalign treatment. Doktor and crew handled her so very well. And DA was such a slow and talking with care and empathy she calmed her down. Such a great crew.

Negative experience: I visited this dentist 3 years ago and had a terrible experience. It was a standard dental cleaning but the dentist wanted to give me nitrogen gas anyways. I declined and wow was that a mistake. It was the most painful cleaning of my life. Also, no dental hygienists? The dentist does everything? I got the distinct feeling that this is the kind of place that loves to recommend elaborate dental surgeries for a lot of $$$. Fast forward 3 years, they keep doing SMS marketing saying “it’s been a while since your last visit… come on back” and just today was “Join Sunnyvale Dental Care Membership Plan”. I’ve asked several times for them to remove my contact information and to stop texting me but they have not. I’ve used the network unsubscribe option of replying with “STOP”, but they use different phone numbers. I didn’t want to leave a review from one visit but their marketing and failure to comply with my request for privacy has changed my mind. This is a predatory establishment that prioritizes your money over your health. UPDATE Aug 2025: Yesterday I received another SMS from this practice advertising an “Invisalign Flash Offer”. This is after they’ve claimed I have been listed as an “inactive patient” in their records.

Fantastic experience: As someone who is scared of going to the dentists, I completely recommend this place as the doctor is extremely professional, the receptionists are incredibly friendly and I received an excellent service. I will be coming back for my regular cleanings and more!

Fantastic experience: Thought the image of Dr Gupta working was priceless, the definition of determination! Or in Finland, it is called SISU; or guts and determination. Our family is from Northern Sweden (50%) and Northern Finland (50%) in an area known as Lapland. So, it all fits. Also have praise for Dr Mark Mandle, You Wei (I believe). There is great team at Sunnyvale Dental Care, where one person picks up for the next, very impressive! Think my surgery went flawlessly, another point. Rated the organization as a 5 out of 5! Fantastic experience: I just had my regular cleaning today by Sima. She was very good, made sure there's not too much pain, provided helpful tips on maintaining the hygiene. I've been coming here for the past 2 years, and would recommend this clinic, in general too!!!

Negative experience: Had Very Bad Experience towards the end of my Invisalign treatment. When doing my teeth Filling, My teeth has been filed more and the cavity has fell 2 times. then later they are suggesting for crown. Dr.Adithi is not responsible, Its been 2 times. First time while redoing the filling. She was in urgency always saying My Patient is waiting... She had to finish mine in hurry and go . 2nd time while removing my Invisalign attachments she was saying the same "My patients are waiting". Even now, I could feel the attachments in my teeth which is not removed properly.I was not explained about the Invisalign, Had I known that they would file my teeth to create gap and later while removing the attachment it wouldn't be perfect like the original teeth. I went for Invisalign just because there was a tiny gap in my front teeth. I wouldn't have chosen the Invisalign. My bites have gone worser and its difficult for me to handle it.Overall I had Bad experience here. Wouldn't recommend Invisalign and this place.

Positive experience: I had a very bad tooth pain at the upper and lower tooth and was able to get emergency appointment. I was x-rayed (with extra charge for individual teeth) for the pain parts and diagnosed for the teeth inflamations that required root canal treatments (RCT) and crownings. I then get the full teeth x-ray and signed to agree for the estimated cost for RCT (signed doc showing insurance coverings vs patient's out of pocket cost). I was undergone for the root canal treat for one of the teeth (upper one only) as my first time experience. The crowning process is to be followed up (to be continue reviewed once done). Doctor and the team seem to be nice and did their job. However, One day after the RCT treatment, i came for the other's root canal treatment for the lower tooth. The reception/manager asked me to pay extra amount (299.xx $) (extra from what it was agreed and signed the day before). They said i need to pay this amount first before additionally paying for the other tooth and to getting the other tooth treatment. What?!!! That time i was shocked and very upset as it has never happened to me before (being asked to pay in extra amount after treatment, with already signed and agreed cost with details). Noted that this year i have never had any tooth treatment, with insurance co-pay, and i have been a client at this place for years without having this incident like this. Whatever reason they gave to me at that time did not matter for the frustration i have had. I am paranoid but I gave them a chance not changing the dental service place this time and i might investigate further with the insurance company to see, so i ended up paying the extra amount and we will see (To be continued for the other review as my crownings and root canal treatments for both teeth has not completed yet).

Fantastic experience: Kind, pretty and knowledgeable front desk employees. I had knowledgeable dentist who took his time to explain everything that was going on and made sure I understood. I got the basi cleaning and the deep cleaning. Lady who did my deep cleaning was awesome, no soreness or pain killers needed the next day. Easy scheduling. Definitely recommend. 5 star dentistry and customer service !!!

Fantastic experience: The extensive surgery I received was performed and completed with extreme efficiency , care and kindness. It was completed by three doctors and with the state of the art technology/YOMI the Robot. The administration staff was very professional and friendly. Their costs are less than all other dental care offices that I researched. The owner Dr. Gupta is very caring and oversees the surgical treatment. I highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: On Saturday, I called the clinic to inform that the edge of my new Invisalign aligner was cutting into my lips. I was advised to stop using it and to return for a follow-up with the dentist on Monday. However, I later received an email with an appointment scheduled for the following Monday instead. When I called to clarify, the person who answered the phone (I presumed they are customer service) could not view or reschedule appointments and that someone from the clinic would follow up with me. Unfortunately, I did not receive a call. I followed up again on Monday, and was once more told that someone from the clinic would get back to me, but again, no one did. As of this morning (Tuesday), I have called for the third time, and again the customer service were only able to leave another note for the clinic. I still have not received any call

Positive experience: Update and feedback to the clinic. I don't know what they've done with their booking or customer service but now is pointless to call to reschedule or schedule meetings as the customer service representatives have no access to this system. They keep telling you someone will call back but after repeated times and several days, they don't. -------------------- I came for general exam after scannings and x rays they made some recommendations. So far deep cleaning has been great and painless. Angie the receptionists has really made me feel welcome and help me get a time that works as well as reschedule and explain the fees.

Fantastic experience: Had a great Invisalign consultation with Robin. She is very sweet , understanding and very informative. Is able to answer all my questions. I do recommend you seeing her when you do your Invisalign.

Fantastic experience: I gave them a big problem as my implant was for the furthest back molar. They got the job done with professionalism, persistence and patience. They are state of the art dentistry and totally on it.

Negative experience: Give two stars only because they had some good dentists and good services in the past. Bad experience with Invisalign. They put efforts to sell Invisalign but care so little about patients well being afterwards. Not recommend.

Negative experience: A month ago, I visited this clinic for routine dental cleaning had a horrible experience. They performed X-ray and told me that I will need to come back for deep cleaning, which requires multiple sessions and costs around $1000. Since my teeth have always been healthy and never needed deep cleaning over the past decade, I went to another clinic for second opinion. After another round of checkup, the new doctor told me I only need regular cleaning. After several weeks, I received a surprise bill from my insurance company stating that I received 4 different services at Sunnyvale Dental Care, including cleaning and fluoride. However, this is not truthful because they did not perform any services on the day of my visit besides exam and X-ray. I’ve wasted hours of time calling back and forth between this clinic and my insurance to correct my bill, and wasted hundreds of dollars because my insurance would only cover one X-ray and exam every 6 months. Avoid this clinic at all costs!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had both my Invisalign treatment and regular dental cleanings done here, and I’ve been very happy with the care I’ve received. Dr. Bhawana is thorough, gentle, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Robin, the nurse practitioner, is also incredibly kind and attentive during procedures, which makes the whole experience much more comfortable. Phi at the front desk is always warm and welcoming, and she was especially helpful and patient when I had questions about my insurance and payments after my provider changed. The entire team makes you feel cared for and supported. I’d definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for reliable and friendly dental care.

Fantastic experience: From the time I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr Vijay is very compassionate and knowledgeable. The quality of care is excellent and he genuinely focuses on the well being of his patients. He takes his time to be thorough and makes sure you are comfortable during the procedure! Highly recommend. Mustafa, his assistant was kind and attentive as well! The entire staff is friendly and professional.

Negative experience: I want to first say Gena(front desk) was kind and patient. I read the reviews about the wait times it didn’t bother me until it was time for me to come in as first time patient for an emergency extraction. I had an infected root canal. So I checked in for my appointment at 10:35 (appointment scheduled at 10:30 )did the paperwork. 11o clock rolls around I’m called into the office. Assistants seem okay. Doctor okay but right away tries to upsale me on an implant. I’m currently swollen and in pain I don’t want to be sold something right away but during our conversation I just agreed so that we could expedite the extraction. Then another person from the front desk proceeded to give me a long list treatment plan then tell me how much my extraction will costs. I interrupted while she was talking and said excuse me I don’t want to think about anything else right now I just want to get the extraction. Oh boy that was the wrong thing to say she had the worse attitude towards me after I said that and the doctor was right there and allowed it! I ended up walking out of there in tears I cried in my car for 10min. Also they are charging double of what other dentist are charging for a bone graph $850 other dentists only $450 w/extraction. For my portion of the cost including insurance. Take my advice, they will upsale you from the get go. I don’t even know if I want an implant yet! I agree with the other reviews long wait time.. seems like they over book and don’t have time for quality care. Seriously need to check on the front desk girl with the long curly hair her attitude was unprofessional.

Positive experience: They love asking for reviews. The services are good but I always feel like they’re trying to “upsell me” so I spend more money. It puts a bad taste in my mouth and makes me distrust some of their recommendations. I do like the cleaning - they do a good job there. They recommended a crown on a tooth that has a lot of filling but is still doing fine. A crown requires for most of the tooth to be shaved away, so I rather not ruin the small amount I have left.

Negative experience: If you have Delta Dental PPO, then Do Not Pay Fees Upfront prior to any procedure. Per Delta Dental, this goes against their insurance policy. Please Ensure that you are aware of any 'Upgrades' and that someone takes the time to inform you of items that may not be covered by your insurance Please Do Not Sign Anything , especially if it is on an IPad transcribed in small font. As usual, I was asked to sign a document without a proper explanation. It was a Legal Document to try to discourage me from going public about my experience. Obviously I didn't sign it. Check with your insurance and file a grievance if you think you have been overcharged or if the office is not following guidelines according to the Legal Agreement that they have with Delta Dental PPO

Fantastic experience: This practice gets everything right. Very friendly and helpful staff, ease of getting appointments, competent and informative professionals, excellent facilities all under one roof. I had a tooth infection following a remote root canal which was handled competently. This clinic stands out in contrast to most dental practices in Bay Area that offer shoddy care with overt obsession on billing. They even offered a professional discount. As. Negative experience: Had a strange experience here. I came in for an interview and instead of talking someone, without the practice manager even knowing my name or who I was I was suddenly given access to patient medical records, financial information and insurance information. I was sitting there for a few hours waiting to speak with someone for an interview and am being treated harshly by Dr. Gupta for not completing sensitive interactions with patients I didn't feel comfortable doing without no one so much as having checked my ID, but aside from being a security risk and a risk to patients (anyone can just walk off the street and start interacting with patients and handling financial/health info) this business is horredously organized and short staffed. Patient appointments are rescheduled without notification, people are made to wait hours... Edit: Business owner reached out to my personal phone number asking me to take this down

Fantastic experience: Sima & dr sah provided great dental work and recommendations for future improvement of my oral health. Always get great service, and happy to be a patient here

Negative experience: Don't allow clients to pay per month, but instead asked patrons to pay within 5 months with a $500 immediate deposit. It's seems unfair to me if my treatment takes 1.5 years that I should be allowed to pay within that timeframe. Also my appointment was at 12, but doctor didn't see me until 1230. What's ironic about this place is, it charges people $100 for appointment cancelation made under 48 hours , but yet don't even know how to manage their time well.

Fantastic experience: First, clean and professional. Procedure explained well. Procedure itself was very smooth and quite painless, ( minimal nova cane ). Would highly recommended. Great work.

Fantastic experience: My visit began with a very warm welcome and a fresh cup of delicious coffee that Kate, the Office Manager, herself went out to get for me. What a kind and thoughtful gesture!ääMy XRays and cleanings we’re done very professionally by a warm, friendly competent staff and later I was greeted by Dr. who after reviewing my dental impressions assured me that I wasready for my crown placement on my implant! Such good news!!! A very good experience as I so often receive there and the staff are both warm and professional. I feel like Ím visiting with family and friends rather than having a dental appointment.

Negative experience: The place is the worst, I got a bill charge for the procedure I have did a year ago. They said those night guard only cost me $20 but ended up charge me +$200 a year later. Not only the night guard, this happened to small filling that I have done a year back as well. I have always been a loyal customer but this is a worse dental place. The doctor also scares me that I need Invisalign when I go there for the first time. After reading the reviews, it seems that was their procedure scares you to get Invisalign which is where they could earn more from you. The customer service is also unprofessional. I have a cleaning there every 6 months and they scheduled me in less than 6 months so my insurance rejected one of my cleaning due to frequency exceeds. They should know the insurance policy and make need sure they won’t charge the customers! Overall, what I see is they really do not care about their customers and just want the money…

Positive experience: Clean and well organized place. But really busy and doctor doesn’t take much time to talk to you. Hopefully assistants and nurses do take time and there is almost no waiting time. Let see if the treatment works.

Positive experience: I initially had a frustrating experience—pressured to pay for an upgraded crown, no temporary crown provided, multiple visits due to a poor fit, and poor communication about appointments. The clinic seemed disorganized, and I was in pain for weeks. EDIT: After sharing my concerns, Dr. Gupta personally stepped in, replaced the crown, and provided excellent care. She truly cares about her patients. I recommend booking directly with her rather than with other dentists at the clinic. I’m removing one star because there’s still a disconnect between the receptionist and the dentist. While some front desk staff are really good, others seem overwhelmed and uninformed. I’d suggest they review patient notes before interacting, to better understand each case.

Negative experience: I had scheduled an appointment based on a Facebook ad that says your exam and X-rays will be free if you have PPO insurance. I do have, with actual comprehensive access but I thought that even the small percentage will be covered based on the ad. Suddenly, the day of the appointment, the front desk person told me that they cannot do such thing. It will covered 100% only if the insurance will do but not based on the ad. I even show them a screenshot but they say: we mention that because most insurances cover 100% but yours not. So, definitely it is false advertisement and I will proceed with the Dental Board of California. See the original and false advertisement

Fantastic experience: I’m happy with Sunnyvale Dental. I love how they welcomed me with care . I started my Invisalign with Robin she did an amazing Job by explaining to me how it’s going to work , Today I went back to get my new sets one of young guy was very carefully by putting another set and explained everything to me how it will look in the next 2 Months I was happy about that! They do a great and I love the look on waiting area it’s very clean , you feel comfortable there !

Negative experience: I had originally signed up for this place after reading the good reviews so writing this review to explain how horrible at this place actually is. The place is understaffed and it's so hard to speak to anyone when you get inside, because everyone working here is too busy and is dealing with so much at once. Every time I check in here there's a long wait time for someone to see me. First time coming here Dr. Gupta scares me that I need Invisalign. Me not knowing anything about Invisalign I agree into paying for Invisalign. If I had known how much pain I had to go through I would've never gotten Invisalign but no one here explained to me what Invisalign was. Also while I was getting my Invisalign glue cured for 20 mins straight I hear screaming from a customer with an assistant outside my room and I had no idea what was going on. Made the experience very scary. Additionally, a had deep cleaning last year in May. Originally, when I worked with a consultant they told me my deep cleaning would be covered by my insurance 100%. Now a year later they tell me I have an addition $130 payment for my deep cleaning... I don't understand how they come up with this additional payment when I've been here several times after my deep cleaning and no one told me about this additional payment. Overall, very poor customer service. I feel bad for the people working there cause they look so overworked and overwhelmed.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this dentist. The staff was very rude, and the X-ray process was uncomfortable and poorly handled. Despite having an appointment, I was asked to wait for 30 minutes, which was very frustrating. Also, they offer promotions for good reviews, so I’m not sure how many of the positive reviews are actually genuine. I would not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: So far, seems everything in order and with respect towards patients which is very important. I'm Deaf so I made it mandatory that communication access was no. 1 factor in receiving services of this dental care place. They were very compliant which is the key to developing trust with this dentist/patient relationship. I like the fact they have 3D XRAY IMAGING in addition to robotic surgical process and regular xrays, which is why I chose this place in the first place.

Negative experience: One of the most miserable and disappointing healthcare experiences of my life. 1. I have never seen a doctor being so rude and impatient. I was waiting for almost two hours and he was not willing to spend two minutes to explain why my teeth need to be removed 2. For my first visit, they did not tell me that the cleaning specialist was not available and we had to reschedule another time. And for the second visit, they cancelled my appointment only five hours in advance. 3. The cavity they showed to me was never existing. 4. They never reply my email when I request my X-ray. They don’t care about your teeth, they just care about how much they can make from you. Please avoid them if you have an option!

Negative experience: I had my deep cleaning and crown fitting appointments here recently. It was a frustrating customer experience, both in the work quality itself as well as scheduling management. Deep cleaning had MISSED STEPS that I was charged for- which I had to bring to their attention. Procedures felt rushed. Temporary crown kept falling off, even before eating anything. This happened twice, once on the way home from the appointment (within 10 mins). Crown fitting appointment kept getting delayed and rescheduled. It had already been 8 days at that point. I was unable to eat solid food for that long. I complained and expressed my irritation, that I am in pain and have not been able to eat due to fallen temporary fillings. There was a sudden turning of wheels and they were able to get the crown ready within 2 hours, which I was told is going to take another day or two. It felt my case was only prioratised ONLY because I complained. If I hadn't raised these issues and insisted, it would have been delayed by ~2-3 more days. Office staff was helpful and the doctor was friendly, but overall experience was not smooth due to multiple issues listed above.

Fantastic experience: I had two teeth that needed extraction and then implants. Unfortunately, I had had a lot of experience in the past with implants. I am trying out with Sunnyvale Dental Care this time. I’m halfway through the procedures and I am happy with the service and the results I have received. Dr. Gupta is very competent and knowledgeable in what she does. She uses an implant robot to help in my procedure. A few months ago I had my first procedure done. It was a lot of work. After the procedure, Dr.Gupta gave me her personal phone number and asked me to call her any time if I had a problem. Now I’ve finished my second procedure. I feel great. I only needed to take a pain killer for three days with such a difficult procedure. My tooth, number 19, is located way back in my mouth. It was a lot of work. The results are great. Another thing I like about the office is that everyone is very friendly. It is also very easy to make an appointment. Once we agree with the price, (not cheap but fair) I never see any bills and I heard that the quality of the procedure should be the best!! Thank you Dr. Gupta and all the office workers. You give me peace of mind. I know I'm in good hands! Thank You!!

Fantastic experience: Kate and d her team where very professional and knowledgeable. I was a new customer with a very painful tooth ache. I called Sunnyvale Dental Care and next appointment was the next day. WhenI arrived at the dentist (after leaving an important work meeting) There was a confusion with my insurance. I was upset, Kate heard and she came over and helped figure out the confusion, I was seen 10 minutes later.

Negative experience: One of the most consistently miserable healthcare experiences of my life. Hours of time wasted on confusion that could have been avoided if any of their staff spent 5 minutes having a conversation. Constant up sell attempts. Spammy appointment system that makes it impossible to easily cancel or reschedule.
