Fantastic experience: Fantastic and skilled dentist. I was seen by Steven (sorry forgot last name). It was a tough job but he was able to extract my tooth with as little pain as possible. My healing is going amazing due to the care he took in minimizing the damage. I truly feel very little pain on the recovery. I'm ecstatic and looking forward to coming back here to finish my dental work (as much as you can look forward to dental work, that is).

Unfortunately the cost of everything has gone up including the cost of going to the dentist. My experience today at the dentist at Meridian Dental was like all my experiences there have been for the past five years or more: six stars outta five. Great people all the way around.

Negative experience: Been here for 10 years, liked the experience before this visit. This time was bad. Only Dr. Josh was working with associates so had to wait for him for almost 30 min and the procedure was like 15 mins. However, my fillings were bad, I feel cracks and bumps with my teeth. Uneven fillings cause uneven bites. The assistant was rude. I asked to shape them better, smoother and she gave attitude, even mess up my 2 other teeth next to the ones that need filling. I hate to have to look for a new place after 10 years relationship.

Fantastic experience: The young lady who has cleaned my teeth the last two times is so good! I’m scared of the dentist, I have sensitive teeth, but she has always been so gentle. I forget that she’s cleaning them! She’s super sweet and needs a raise! Happy holidays!

Negative experience: What disappointing work. I had work done for a crown a few fillings in 2022. They were super speedy, same day crown, friendly staff top of the line equipment so I felt in good hands. As soon as I got the crown it was all down hill, the crown didn’t fit properly and even after I enforced them and shaving it down some they told me that it would feel like that and it’ll be better after a few days. It didn’t. I had gone back to them saying that my bite was off and left again with the same result. New Year’s Day it came out, they charged me $300 to put it back on. And again they didn’t fix the bite when they re-cemented. At the end of this it was around $3,000 for mediocre work. Today my crown came out AGAIN & I will not be going back. So incredibly disappointed with how this situation has been handled.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dental office you'll find anywhere. I recently broke a tooth and they got me in quickly and I went home with a beautiful new crown that day. Dr. Josh is great!! I'll never go anywhere else.

She did a fantastic job with the x-rays and the cleaning and is highly dedicated to do quality work and of course my doctor Walker is very friendly and personable and did a great job examining my teeth situation. Her proficiency and mastery in her craft has transcended my primordial denture and reformed it from feral to civilized. Negative experience: The warning was on the wall: actually it was delivered in the form of a white sheet of paper affixed to the door. The time was 2:45 and me and another patient arrived 15 min earlier to have time to fill the New Patient paperwork, only to find the Office door locked with a sheet of paper informing a Staff meeting was in progress, so the office will be closed until 3PM. So much for Patient respect! , with no way to get inside and relax in a chair. I actually have difficulty standing still due to condition, and had to find a fence outside to prop myself against. Can't remember any other time like that where patients would be locked out on outside due to staff meeting, and I worked with dentists for 30+ years in four states on the East coast, and three on the West now. Truly unique! Somehow I convinced myself it's worth to persevere as I needed treatment. Once inside, I had to endure endless taking of X-rays with cumbersome equipment causing discomfort, so much so I almost quit, but instead they switched to a smaller sensor and continued with X rays. Once that done, they unveiled an intraoral camera which took another while to scan everything. After that, another kind of camera for the outside shots, and for that one they had to use triceps-style equipment to pry into your mouth, again pretty invasive. The doc eventually came in and spent maybe 15 min max. Not much talking afterward, other than You haver to go see surgeon about something on your tongue. And then we'll have a consult, maybe. At that point it dawned on me if this is a sort of scheme where they string people along, to extract $ as they can, and care may be delivered at some point, but that's not really their focus -- customer care, solving their problems. And I actually talked to them beforehand about what is bringing me in in setting this appointment. New Patient appointments are about getting to know each other, and deciding how well we can work together. Unfortunately I realized that Dr.Walker is not someone I feel can deliver care I need, for I saw no signs of it. It's as if they using this scintillating array of gadgets just for liking to play with tech, and the patient is not something in their focus. That is just my own opinion and respect if other people had different experience. What I went through was very different kind of experience than I had with other dentists I worked before. I just wanted to share and warn people. And you know what: the real person is different than what you see in Youtube video, does not come off warm and caring, let's just say.

Negative experience: Doctor Knutson and staff are great as always. Dr. K's office recently merged with Meridian Dental. As of today, my first visit since the merger, I've received 6 text messages in less than 24 hours...from 4 different numbers. I think this is a ridiculous amount of contact. Default should be to NOT opt a new patient into a barrage of messaging. Let us choose. And I received this request to review you from yet another text message. So, you did this to yourself. And yes, I did bring this up with the admin staff. It's things like this that make a patient leave a practice.

Fantastic experience: My six month check-up and cleaning was about 3 months late and I think it showed, although my dental technician didn't mention it. She is always very kind to me! She was able to get my teeth back to where they should be. Fantastic experience: My routine cleaning was just that. Routine. The hygienist was thorough and efficient. She gave me pointers on flossing and didnt try to sell me any products. The office staff made me feel welcome and it was a good day at the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a situation where I lost a crown and the infection that followed made my face swell up like a Sharpei, and I was in a lot of pain. I was panicked to get an emergency appointment on a Saturday morning, and when I called Meridian, they were awesome. I called them at 10:30am, and by 11:00, I was at their office, ready to be looked at by a Dentist. They took x-rays and got me set up on Antibiotics and Steroids immediately. We also scheduled surgery for next week. Meridian was great throughout the whole process, and everyone was so nice, making a bad situation in to a good experience.

I had an awesome experience with the dental staff in listening to me to find out what my concerns were! Dentist Joshua was also attentive about my pain and how to repair and alleviate the discomfort and pain from my damage teeth! I truly appreciate the excellent care and attention they provided to help relieve and repair my distress of significant distress; with his excellent assistant; who also assisted him with working in my mouth with gentle care; when my damages were so bad; and badly neglected!!! Fantastic experience: My most recent visit (2-22-25) was a routine visit for a semi-annual cleaning. My dental hygienist was Tram,, who I had seen before, and she was delightful in every respect. She was thorough, competent, caring, informative and sensitive to my comfort and needs. I was very pleased with Tram as well as every aspect of Meridian Dental's support of my dental needs.

Negative experience: A sad day! I received a reminder my cleaning was due. When I arrived, I was told the visit would begin with dental x-rays. I declined. I was then told it was "illegal" to refuse. I said I doubted that and asked if the clinic did not want me to return. The tech didn't answer but left the room briefly. Upon her return she said, "we will complete the cleaning today only and that's it." As background, my family (spouse, children, grandchildren) have been cared for decades by the clinic next door you recently acquired. Since the transfer to your care, I have had several cleanings, without screening x-rays, and a cracked tooth replaced with a crown - doing will so far. I'm not sure what purpose it served to ask me to seek another care provider under these circumstances. As someone who takes care with their dental hygiene, gets regular check ups/cleaning and reports promptly any dental related symptoms, I would think my behavior is both acceptable and appropriate. We would like to note that dental x-rays are a vital part of keeping our patients healthy and while we understand that not all patients require x-rays at the same interval most patients have some dental disease and or existing risk factors that require us to monitor every 1-2yrs. As always, our office respects the wishes of our patients and understand if they choose to not have yearly x-rays. If a patient declines x-rays for more than 2 years and has risk factors then our office would ask the patient to seek care elsewhere as we would be unable to continue treating them without having the ability to evaluate the patient properly, supervised neglect is against the law. Dentists and hygienists have a duty to provide appropriate standard of care to their patients, and failing to do so can lead to disciplinary action, including fines and license suspension or revocation. Dental bitewing x-rays and examination are the most efficient method for evaluation of: Tooth decay: Decay can be detected as dark spots in X-ray images. X-rays are beneficial in detecting difficult-to-spot decay between teeth. Cancer: Early detection of bones and other cancers can improve treatment options. Infection: X-rays can detect certain bacterial infections or determine whether a root canal has failed. Cysts: X-rays can make lumps, polyps, nodules, and gum tissue growths easier to see. Bone loss: Recognizing advanced stages of periodontal disease. Periodontal disease: An infection around the root of a tooth can occur below the gum line. X-rays can tell us what is happening. ---------------- Didn't catch your name. The maladies you list, with a couple of exceptions are associated with pain. I've never had screening dental x-rays result in a procedure. Nor have I had a procedure not preceded by pain. You also just justified my discharging a lung cancer patient because he is unable to stop smoking. That would really be what you call "supervised neglect" and it would be unethical. I hope the next time you discharge a patient from your practice, you do it personally instead of sending a messenger. BG

My hygienist, Tram, is so gentle and thorough during every single cleaning. She educates me, and is kind, friendly, warm and lovely! I also know everybody else on the team is just as amazing. I also got my Invisalign done here, and very happy with the results. Having straight, healthy teeth is just so worth it. Dr. Steve Inaba is also the best! He is soft, kind, gentle, informative and always makes the time to answer questions. The front desk is so friendly, helpful, always checking in in the way I need and very good with reminding me about appointments and they are so gracious when life happens. Honestly, going to the dentist isn't even a chore. I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned and looked at! This staff does an AMAZING All-AROUND CARE. THANK YOU

Fantastic experience: The dentist I saw was very patient with my concerns, and I very much appreciated that. The hygienist was very friendly and kind. Definitely a great team!

Negative experience: Made a two hour appointment, was there for 35 minutes, the dentists looked at my teeth for about 2 seconds and told me to reschedule the next week because they wanted to grab lunch. That whole ordeal was 191$.

Fantastic experience: Amazing care. I detest going to the dentist. This visit changed all that. The pain was unbearable. They got me in same day! Preformed the necessary procedure same day! Negative experience: I was charged $100 for missing an appointment while I was hospitalized in the ICU following a motorcycle accident, leaving me unable to cancel. Despite my efforts to explain the situation, Dr. Steven Inaba displayed a lack of understanding and chose to proceed with the charge. I strongly advise against using this dental practice, as there are far better options with professionals who demonstrate greater empathy, critical thinking, and the ability to handle basic human circumstances.

Fantastic experience: They were really compassionate and patient with me. If I needed anything they made sure I got what I needed to feel comfortable before moving forward with anything. They were very clear with answering my questions and made sure I knew what was going on. Really good service over all.

Positive experience: Great staff and do amazing work with no pain involved. Reason I gave it a four star instead of a Five is one time I came in and had a root canal done the Dr had left me in the middle of my root canal with my mouth cocked open in a bunch of little prods in my tooth to go work on another patient . I understand it was busy and they were limited on doctors available but damn. Was like about and hour like that. If you’ve ever had a root canal done and no what’s Involved you would know what awkward state you are in the middle of. Other than that, the place is fantastic , would recommend.
