Fantastic experience: Referell from my Partner who has been going for years. I had grown so disillusioned with dentist in the States that I had the majority of my dental services done abroad for the last 7 years. My experience the other day restored my connection to dentistry here in Atlanta and I will return.

Fantastic experience: Julie provided the most thorough and gentle cleaning ever…. leaving my teeth feeling unbelievably fresh and polished. Julie’s attention to detail made my entire experience exceptional from beginning to final finish. She’s an exemplary hygienist ‼️

Negative experience: I liked the interactions with the dentists, but that's where it stops for me. The practice is very disorganized and not all that welcoming. My expectation is that a new dentist office will send paperwork to be filled out early and directions for how to get to the office since it is not straight forward in Colony Square. We had to call to get help finding the office. We didn't receive any paperwork until we checked in, without much of a greeting, but were immediately called back so there was no time. I would also expect them to communicate whether we wanted previous records requested. They did not. Xrays started without insurance being checked. So, it was almost expected that I would just not continue with my appointment. We all know how long you have to wait for dentist appointments, so I had to assure them I wanted a cleaning. My son and I both had cleaning experiences that were rough and rushed. Not what we're used to. Not even a month later, my bills are showing up at a family member's address. An address that has never been a previous address of mine. Basically, they wanted this bill sent quickly and googled an address. Paperwork was not filled out by me until a week or so later, so interestingly, this office chose to say that somehow I was responsible for the wrong address. Borderline impossible, since I would have also had to Google the family member to get the address. It's not worth the hassle, the lack of a welcoming environment, the parking costs, and the interactions we've had. I had hoped between the two appointments that the first day was just a bad day, but it seems that it's their norm.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Drescher & Cohen is always a GREAT one! Dr. Drescher is extremely thorough and considerate. Communication is very important to me, so I truly appreciate him advising me about my treatment while he is working on my teeth. No one likes pain; of course Dr. Drescher is very aware of this and is quite appropriate with the local anesthesia. In addition to Dr. Drescher, I have never seen dental assistants so knowledgeable; they perform incredible duties. Also, the office staff is always welcoming. Great Service! Great Staff! Fantastic experience: First time at Drescher & Cohen, I was very pleased with the visit from beginning to end. Dr. Drescher made me feel very comfortable and his assistant was very cordial when taking exray. Tonya, the hygienist was wonderful, gave some suggestions and was very thorough. I hadn’t had a cleaning like that in two years.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Drescher & Cohen DDS for years. I've never seen any Dr. office (Any, not just dentists) with as much care, amazing Dentists. hygienists, and staff. On top of that, they have a state of the art facility with modern equipment. While I normally go to Dr. Drescher, who is AMAZING!! Most recently, I went for an unexpected tooth pain, they fit me in as soon as possible with Dr. Cohen. He was so caring it almost felt that he was my dad worried about me. A few days later, they texted me to make sure I'm doing well and if they could do anything to help. Again, this place is the best and I trust these people with all my heart.

Fantastic experience: Dr Drescher has been my dentist for 30+ years. I started going to him when i was employed with the FRB. After my retirement i refused to change so i drive further to go to the best.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Just received another bill for a cleaning from this office. $370! Absolutely exorbitant! Reduced my rating to 1/5, If I could give 0 stars I would. The fact that I had provided my insurance and their front desk never mentioned that it wouldn’t be covered because they’re out of network is absolutely disgusting. PREVIOUS REVIEW: The doctors and office staff here are all nice and professional. They did a good job with my teeth cleaning. However, I think they could work on being more transparent about their billing and insurance. I was originally under the understanding that my insurance was accepted by them, but it turns out this office is not in-network for any insurance carrier. This ended up giving me a surprise bill after the fact, I assumed they would have checked my insurance coverage prior to my appointment. So my teeth cleaning and checkup that usually costs $60 at other dentist offices ended up costing me nearly $300 after insurance.

Fantastic experience: I have been patient of Dr. Cohen for over 25 years. He has taken care of my dental health through many challenging situations. When my mom passed I almost lost my teeth, from stress and grief. Dr Cohen guided me back to perfect health. I love everyone in this office - it feels like going to family and not to doctor’s office. Fantastic experience: Outstanding practice and experience. I’ve been going to Drescher & Cohen for more than 50 years! No kidding . They were recommended by a colleague many years ago, and I’ve never gone to anyone else, except on their recommendation.I wouldn’t dream of changing dentists now. They had me on day one ! Currently, Dr Drescher is my primary dentist, and his work is always excellent. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. But more than that, he is a super human being, always friendly and engaging and makes you feel at ease in his presence. The whole office is that way. The staff here is wonderful. They are professional, friendly and courteous. Vy is my hygienist. She is exceptionally good at what she does. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would say this about a dentist appointment 'Visiting the offices of Drescher & Cohen D.D.S. was a pleasant and rewarding experience'. I have been on this journey for over 4 years. I have spoken with countless dentists and orthodontists. For years my TMJ was misdiagnosed as they continued to perform root canals and other procedures purportedly to relieve my pain. Even after I received a diagnosis the issue was not addressed properly. Then I found Drescher & Cohen D.D.S.. Dr. Cohen was methodical as he proceeded to hone in on the problem. Once he arrived at my specific issue he went about searching for a solution. With the aid of his assistant Raven he went over every conceivable approach to solve my issue once and for all. It was like watching Batman and Robin work. What I really appreciated was they did not exclude me from the process. They included me in every conversation. I really want to thank Dr. Cohen, Raven, Patrick, Alejandra and the entire Drescher & Cohen staff. Well done!!!

I have also seen Dr. Simian, just this week, for the first time, and felt that he was excellent. The whole staff at Drescher and Cohen are fabulous, friendly, and efficient. Fantastic experience: Dr. Swanson gave me the most thorough examination I have ever had. She was very honest and professional. Another dentist was trying to get me to replace an old cap and lied to me about having a cavity. Dr. Swanson did not see one. This was very reassuring to me as I thought the other dentist was trying to make money off of me.

Fantastic experience: So, as an adult, I am a big baby when it comes to go going to the dentist. However, I went to Drescher & Cohen Dental, and I had no regrets going. There I met on loving and caring dentist in world that I ever meet the one and only Dr. Swanson. Oh, my goodness, this lady let me want to do one more extraction if she had allowed me. Fantastic experience: Great dentist! I've been visiting Drescher & Cohen since I moved to Atlanta nearly 10 years ago. The office staff are friendly, hygienists are great, and the Dentists are fantastic. I visit every 4 months and they're always great to schedule x-rays and Dr. exams to maximize my insurance coverage. The only possible negative I could think of would be parking in the area is not cheap, even with validation you're looking at $7-12 each visit.

Every time I come in there's new streamlined and efficient way to get the job done. Dr Cohen and his staff did a temporary crown for me today. It looks and feels perfect! I wish I could leave it in permanently! Every need is always met; today I was chilly and I asked for a blanket. Darn if they didn't have one for me!

Fantastic experience: My friend used to be the sales rep for a large dental company famous for their toothbrushes. She visited dentists all over Georgia, and she recommended Drescher & Cohen. Simply the best in ATL. 2024 update: Dr. Simian is an artist. I just chipped my 2 front teeth, and he bonded them in a way that made them structurally stronger while also making them look beautiful and natural. The process seemed like refinishing a dent on a car, except he worked in an area measuring less than 2 cm square. Dr. Simian could make a fortune at a high end auto body shop, but I'm glad he's my dentist.

Fantastic experience: Kathy, my dental hygienist / technician, is absolutely great. She is not only so sweet and nice - and I really do enjoy having conversations with her when I am having my teeth and gums examined and cleaned by the associates of Drescher and Cohen, DDS -; but she is also so professional and observant as well. There have been at least two times when Kathy spotted a problem, and then discussed it with the dentist, before that particular problem then became a huge problem! And not only do I like Dr. Drescher’s humor, wit and friendliness; but I also definitely appreciate the fact that he too is catching problems before they become huge problems! And Dr. Drescher also does an excellent job of explaining the problem - and also the potentially larger problem if the issue is not dealt with properly and in a timely fashion - in a mild, relaxed, calm and very educational manner!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at Dr. Drescher's office. He was very nice knowledgeable and patient. My dentist had told me that I needed to get a crown in a tooth that the filing had chipped out. Dr. Drescher was able to refill and bond the tooth. The same procedure a friend in another state told me their dentist had done. I would definetly recommend Dr. Drescher. He did not try to sell or overcharge as had been my experience. He was refreshing.

Fantastic experience: It has been a few years since I’ve been to a dentist, and I was concerned about my lapse in dental hygiene. I wanted to find a practice that would not rush through my cleaning and exam. I was eventually referred to Drescher & Cohen. The front desk was easy to communicate with. The price for an exam and routine cleaning was on-target. Appointment information, reminders, and new patient forms were sent via Text message, which was convenient. My hygienist, Julia, was personable and gave me an absolutely perfect cleaning. Dr. Drescher walked me through my X-rays and spent more than enough time answering questions I had about my dental health. I loved the goodie bag I received at the end of the appointment; they have the best chapstick ever. Despite not feeling rushed during the exam and cleaning, the efficiency of the staff was top notch and I was finished with my appointment and back to work quicker than expected. 10/10 experience, I highly recommend Drescher & Cohen DDS.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for 15 years. I take both my young children and we're always in and out in under an hour -- with three sets of nice, clean teeth! The office is also great with same-day emergency appointments. Love this practice!

Recently started seeing Dr. Swanson for botox for my tmj and bruxism; so far great results and very knowledgeable. Everyone in my family leaves with a smile and good attitude.

Fantastic experience: Arielle did my Zoom teeth whitening and did a great job. She explained everything clearly, was gentle, and sweet. She listened when I expressed my fear of post procedure sensitivity and she made sure I had several options for reducing this should it occur. I highly recommend this practice and Arielle for teeth whitening. :)

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dentist office highly enough! I came in for an extraction and bone graft, and I was extremely nervous about the procedure. However, the environment, staff, and dentist were all incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease. The dental office was clean and comfortable, with calming music playing in the background. The staff were all friendly and reassuring, taking the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions I had. The dentist himself was gentle and patient, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was how well they managed my anxiety. They made sure that I was fully informed of what was happening and what to expect. The procedure was done with no discomfort, and I was even given a follow-up call to check on how I was doing. Overall, I had an exceptional experience at this dental office. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease, and the procedure was done flawlessly. If you're looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients and provides exceptional care, this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Swanson is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She walks her patients through every step so they are aware what is happening and why she is doing what she's doing. The rest of the staff from checking you in to checking you out are a joy. I highly recommend coming here for all your dental and botox needs!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Drescher is awesome. If you need implants, crowns, fillings, cleanings, etc., you should make an appointment with Dr. Drescher. You will feel no pain during or after the procedure. He explains to you what he did and why he did it. He is very thorough. I promise you will leave extremely satisfied because I did.

Fantastic experience: The office staff is terrific and Dr Cohen and Raven were great. Dr Cohen took plenty of time to assess and explain the current situation with my teeth and then discuss the various treatment options available to me. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Always great service at D&C. Been going there for 21 years. I got my teeth cleaned and Dr. Cohen gave me a great proposal on getting my teeth whitened. I’ve done about every tooth work under the sun with D&C: Emergencies, routine cleaning and some cosmetics. We moved three times in the last 20 years and when we tried other local dentists who were closer, we were never happy. We moved to Dacula in 2018 and in 2021 my husband and I setup a cleaning with a local dentist. It was a horrible experience for him and he decided it wasn’t worth trying to find a new dentist since no one seems to match D&C. I had bridge work done by Dr. Drescher about 12 years ago, 2 different dentists asked me who completed the work. On both occasions I asked if it was badly done. They both stated the dentist did a great job. We’re not going anywhere

Fantastic experience: Before finding Drescher & Cohen Dentistry, I was always terrified to go to the dentist. However, Dr Steve Drescher is the best! He explains everything, he is gentle and a top notch dentist. I feel confident and comfortable under his care. The staff are all very friendly and kind.

Negative experience: I have had the worst Experience in my lifetime with Dr. Swanson. I have never seen someone so argumentative and threatening to call cops with patients and belittle dental staff members before in my life. Cannot manage emotions in stressful situations. This is very unprofessional in office. The doctor does not have my best interest for my teeth, very rude, I felt very uncomfortable and I will not return and I would not recommend anyone see Dr.Swanson.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Drescher and his staff are very professional and super friendly. They have taken very good care of me for the last eight years and I truly appreciate their efforts and genuineness. I’m sure they would take care of you all also. I would refer them to anyone that needs dental care. In early 2015 I had some problems with my gums and was referred to a specialist that told me that I was going to need major surgery because of my deep pockets. I decided to get another opinion and a friend of mine named Forrest referred me to Drescher and Cohen. They suggested deep cleaning instead of surgery and follow up visits every 3 to 4 months. They suggested that I use a particular electric toothbrush and flossing on a consistent basis which I have done over the last eight years and my gums are in good condition.
