Fantastic experience: I had a great experience and always have a great experience with polit and Costello. The hygienist was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: The office manager Liz has some issues and does not know how to have a professional conversation apparently. They will no longer be getting my business or my families. Just had to tell my boyfriend to cancel his appointment with them tomorrow. A simple question regarding a payment that insurance retracted as I was insured during that time. The payment was retracted in October 25 after my appt was in August of 25. Then they tell me 11/19 and try to say I have to have it handled by the end of this year or I have to pay it when I already have my insurance company handling it. How can I guarantee when they will have this updated and complete? I let them know it’s urgent and did my part. I loved going here and the service I received from the actual dentist but the office manager please I will never bring my business here and I will no longer be recommending them.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly. Sam, my hygienist, was so sweet and thorough. Dr. Polit was very nice and easy to talk to. I was having a hard time finding a dentist near my home that was taking new patients. I drove over an hour to get there and I will continue to make the drive every six months even if something closer comes available.

Positive experience: Kind and courageous staff,dental hygienist’s go the extra mile and provide a great cleaning,I’ve never experienced this level of care and attention to detail at any other dental office.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolute amazing experience today. Everyone was so nice to me and for how afraid I am of the dentist I really felt comfortable. I had teeth cleaning done and they look and feel great. Will be going back soon to get some repairs. Can’t wait to get my smile back and they assured me I’m in good hands.

Fantastic experience: My insurance changed and I had to find a new dentist. When it comes to sitting in the dentist chair I'm usually a complete wreck. From the moment I walked in, sat in the chair, and had all my X-rays and hygiene completed, and treatment plan provided, I was impressed with how every step of the way everything was explained to me. In all my many years.. this was the first time I felt cared for as an individual patient. Both my dental tech and dentist are top notch! I have to go back for a root canal and I feel so much better about it ...and not so terrified. They know what they're doing! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist. I was so nervous for my first appointment I literally thought about cancelling from the parking lot. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by a smiling and helpful staff to Dayla, the most patient and calming hygienist I have ever encountered, the entire experience was first class. I never felt rushed or overlooked and Dayla & Dr. K made mefeel like I was their favorite patient. I will have zero fears returning! 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist office in the area! From the moment you walk in the door, the staff greets you and are all so very friendly. They have extremely High-tech advanced equipment that Is super amazing. The dentists and the hygienists are very knowledgeable and great at what they do. My kids now love going to the dentist and not because they get a lollipop, a toothbrush, or a sticker but they absolutely love the experience & the way they are treated. They are very punctual, there is usually never waiting period to get in for an appointment or once you’re there on time they take you right back. Their prices are very reasonable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you to the entire staff for treating my family so kind. We appreciate you more than words can describe… We are all proud of our teeth, no hiding a smile!

Negative experience: I was a patient and treated by this office for over 2 years. Dr Polit is kind and patient as is his assistant. However, staff, particularly billing woman is rude and incompetent. I had work done and paid over $1000 plus insurance for 2 caps. I needed another that I never got placed because of the billing issue and now I have a ding in credit for charges for services that were never rendered. I’m submitting a complaint to my insurance. This is an updated review and I never heard anything in response. It’s a real shame. My caps are chipping and shifting!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time going to the dentist here with Polit and Costello. I was greeted by a very nice receptionist at the front desk. The person who did the X-rays and checked my teeth was excellent! She was kind and knowledgeable. She took her time with me and explained everything to me. There was no rush throughout my visit. I felt very comfortable and relaxed . The dentist was also very nice when he came in to check everything. When I was leaving I was again greeted by a very nice staff member at the checkout . Everyone was really personable and the atmosphere reflected that as well. I would recommend this office for dental care .

Fantastic experience: I love the professional, yet friendly, atmosphere at Polit & Costello. I was recommended to switch to this dentist's office by a friend years ago and I've never regretted it. All the dental hygienists do a great job checking over my teeth and cleaning them. Anytime I needed anything other than a cleaning done, Dr. Polit is the best. He also caught a mistake from my previous dentist on a root canal that was done and took care of it. Highly recommend! I know my teeth are well taken care of.

Jennifer, who I met with, was super supportive of my nervousness!!!” Then a few more following visits. After having my teeth cleaned with Jen, I was even more pleased. She took the best care of me!! I have major dental anxiety, and she was FANTASTIC!! I also had some tooth repair, and I opted for sedative dentistry, the assistants were fabulous and explained everything in detail, thank you Monica. Dr Polit’s demeanor was incredibly comforting. I can’t speak highly enough about the entire office!!! Thank you so much!!! My last visit, just today, 3/10/25, I received the same awesome treatment from everyone there!!

Fantastic experience: I am new to the area and haven’t had time to get established with a dentist yet. Last week I was in some of the worst pain I’ve ever experienced, dental or otherwise. I called several dentists in the area (about 8) with no luck. My husband also called a few offices and spoke with Jeff at this practice. Jeff got me in that afternoon, Samantha listened patiently, took xrays and explained everything. Dr Kalna came in, quickly diagnosed my problem, explained the solution and I was able to pick up prescriptions that evening. I’ll be forever grateful to the sweetest and most empathetic angels Jeff and Samantha and always appreciate Dr Kalna. Even though this practice is not in my dental insurance network, my husband and I are going to come here from now on

Some of the providers in the area are not as they 1st appear. An awesome staff. Dr. Pollit is truly deserving of the title doctor. Excellent communicator, and interaction. Fantastic experience: I am physically disabled and Polit and Costello Dentistry go out of their way to accommodate me. I’ve been going to Dr. Costello exclusively for many years (even through a location switch) and he’s absolutely amazing. Dr. Polit recently filled in for him during an emergency broken tooth procedure and he was just as amazing!! They are phenomenal, extremely professional, and compassionate human beings. I can’t say enough good things about them nor can I praise them any higher. As long as they are practicing, I will forever be their patient.

My hygienist Samantha took very good care of me-she’s such a pleasant woman. Samantha Explained to me the treatment plan as clear as could be. Fantastic experience: Prior to visiting Polit & Costello I had a terrible experience with another dentist in the area. I had to contact Polit & Costello recently when I had extreme amounts of pain from a tooth. When I contacted them the front desk staff could not have been accommodating and polite. Upon my first 2 visits, the doctors were super caring and knowledgeable. Following that I needed a root canal and again the doctors were amazing. Since this procedure, when going to cleanings, I have had the best care. I highly recommend anyone that is looking for a dentist or looking to change to seek out Polit & Costello.

Fantastic experience: My whole family has been going to Dr. Costello for over 15 years. If I could give more stars I would. When my kids were little he was patient and kind and worked with me and my concerns. He also gives the best needles in the business. The whole office is always kind and helpful and I always feel heard and respected. They are always up to date on the latest dental procedures and equipment. The office is always clean and bright. That is why I travel an hour to keep them as our family dentist.

Fantastic experience: If I could give a gazillion stars I would! I have very high anxiety when it pertains to the dentist. It has come with a hefty price. So much work needs done. I chose anesthesia and will have it all done in 2025. Meanwhile, I went in for a cleaning just this past week. My hygienist was Daniel. I cannot say enough great things about my visit. I felt really at ease. He took his time cleaning my teeth and was very patient with me. Such a great experience. I wish I would’ve come here a long time ago.

Fantastic experience: Do not bother with the bad reviews. If you’re like me that’s the first place you look. I’m here to clear up any negativity about this office right here and now. I have had some awful experiences with dentists in my past, so bad that I’d go as far to say I have a sort of dental PTSD. I recently had a dental plan mapped out and was set to have two teeth removed just yesterday. When I showed up I warned the amazing assistant Tracy about my fears and she did everything in her power to keep me distracted and ensure me not to worry. She listened to my fears and made sure I was comfortable. She popped on a movie which hovers over your head and brought the gas. I’m going to be honest, I didn’t think gas was going to calm me down enough, but it did. I think I was mostly comfortable because Tracy was so cool and even let me squeeze her hand the whole time. The doctor was not only concise with his movements, a true professional, but he was somehow still gentle. The last time I had a tooth pulled I wasn’t remotely numb and the dentist shattered my tooth into a million pieces and hit my other teeth with his instruments, it was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. I felt everything. I think this experience in a way fixed those fears for me. Righted a wrong. From the bottom of my heart, I really want to thank Tracy and Dr Kalna. Good luck to anyone looking for a new dentist, I hope I helped and am confident that this is the place for you to go.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Polit and Dr. Costello are the best dentists I’ve ever had. I’ve had dental issues since I was a child and had the worst luck with dentists who probably should not have worked with children or other human beings. My husband heard from his coworkers about Dr. Polit and Dr. Costello - that they were friendly and professional. I reluctantly went and was pleasantly surprised that it was true. The entire office is calm, friendly and professional. The doctors or a technician explain every procedure. I no longer feel anxious at dental appointments. At any point during a procedure, I can let them know if there is discomfort or pain and they will address it right away. I don’t feel silly asking questions about dental hygiene since I am more predisposed to cavities. They recommend using a waterpik and it has been so good to have cavities free visits. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in NePA. I have been a patient for a few years now and I had dental implants as well as regular checkups and cleaning. Every visit is calm and professional. The staff is genuinely concerned about your well-being.

He always provides an excellent experience and takes the time to explain the details of what our treatment plan is. Fantastic experience: Stopped in today to see if they take my insurance and possibly schedule an appointment. Had a chipped front tooth. Within minutes, I was in getting X-rays. Within an hour I was done and had a new front tooth. Every staff person I came across was very friendly and genuinely concerned for my care. What a great place for your dental care needs.
