Fantastic experience: I was worried that I might get teeth pulled, but with the doctor expertise he reassured me the problem was not that serious. Also the two Arron’s were especially nice! Good staff is what makes patients want to return!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been fond of having to visit the Dentist, but let me just say Cambridge doesn’t make you feel like you’re coming in for a dentist appointment, they make you feel right at home. As soon as you walk in it gives family. I am glad my friend referred me to this place because I have finally found a dentist I can stay and grow with. Negative experience: My family had been patients at Cambridge Dental in O'Fallon, for over twenty years and were always happy with the care. Unfortunately, we’ll be moving on after a very disappointing experience. I was unaware of any balance until I received a call from a collection agency claiming I owed Cambridge money. The balance—part mine, part my adult son’s—came as a complete surprise. I had prepaid nearly $1,800 for my dental work and would have paid any remaining amount immediately if I’d known. I'm 51 years old and never ever have I had a matter referred to collections before. When I called to pay the bill, I learned that all of our upcoming appointments had already been cancelled—without any notice to us at all. Over the phone, the billing manager was self-righteous, condescending, unsympathetic and rude. She was only interested in defending their actions. Dr. Brubaker provided excellent care for many years, but being sent to collections after decades of loyalty was an unnecessary and disappointing way to end the relationship.

My Hygienist was very careful of the areas around my receding gums that can be very tender, but she got everything really clean. An excellent visit to the dentist office all around! No issues to complain about.

They were up front about pricing and even reduced the price as they found it wasn’t as complicated a procedure as they initially quoted. Very professional, intelligent and fun staff!

Dental hygienist Christine did an excellent job, not only with my teeth but the thoroughness in the x-rays and her experience what's phenomenal. She was very nice took the time to explain everything too me. I couldn't ask for anymore. She should be commended and the dentist that saw me and told me he could help me with the issues my past Dentist left me in. I felt like I was in the best of hands. Thank you very much. Jeff

Negative experience: Dentists are great and staff is friendly. However when asked directly if the were in the Tricare network for dental care they said that they were. After treatment we found out that they lost their Tricare affiliation back in 2022. Now we are left with a huge bill. Don't go if you only have Tricare for dental! Don't get scammed like we did!

Fantastic experience: I had chipped a tooth on Saturday, called first thing Monday morning, and was able to get an appointment that afternoon. After checking in and getting seen, they were able to fill in my chipped tooth even though they were busy.

Negative experience: Dennis gave me a root canal now that it’s bothering me with pain. They will not fix it because they say I owe them some money money come before my pain is suffering.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a dentist and I have found the best right here in O'Fallon IL. My two sons are patients as well and we absolutely love their new dentist and staff. Dr. Benjamin Brubaker DMD and the entire staff are the most kindest, respectful, and professional team I have seen in along time. I thank God for allowing me to find such a fantastic group of people that really care for their patients.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment online through a chat , ive been trying to find someone to pull out my wisdom teeth because my current dentist doesn't do it. So I went online and specifically asked if they took my insurance and I told them what insurance it was because ive been having a hard time finding someone who takes it and they told me yes they accept that and went on booking it . He I was thinking I was in the clear and relieved that I finally found someone and a month later after I out in for my pto and everything they call me two days before saying they don't take my insurance and they don't know why I was told that . They said it was a call center that does their appointments . So now im at square 1 and I wasted a day off ,I wasn't able to work since they had already made the schedule at work. What's funny is on my cigna app when I go to find a dentist Cambridge does show up on there saying it's in network ,I think they need to update that also if they are not.

Negative experience: This is what Cambridge Dental Care associates with professional communication. Leaving 50 minutes to reply via text message before CANCELLING an appointment. I am a Doctor, my schedule is every bit as packed if not more so than theirs. I was on my third appointment of that day when I got their message. It is almost like dealing with terrorists. **** Update **** The constant game of confirmation via a social media wack a mole is crazy. They purport to be a professional dental practice. They should act like it. I am somewhat pleased with the care. But the front office is out of control.

Positive experience: Your three errands are great. The doctor was good. The only drawback to your practice is a patient should have the right to decide if they’re gonna have a cleaning versus deep clean some people just can’t afford it here in Illinois. My teeth were just simply x-rayed analyzed and no cleaning. The doctor said my teeth look great. The hygienist said I needed a deep cleaning due to the cost, I said no. In Vegas in California, I never had to have a deep cleaning only here in Illinois at your facility. It was forced upon me. I think a patient should have the right to choose their healthcare. I don’t think I’ll be coming back due to the fact a patient has no right to choose in case of such as line you should put a waiver sheet, stating if the client doesn’t have a deep cleaning there could be other problems, but the patient should always have the right to choose I love your location. I love the facility. The staff is great but to be faced with a $900 bill just simply for cleaning or is in Vegas in California. I only had to pay $113 once a year and I told them I’d already had it done six months ago if it was 113 yes 900 no way too expensive. It’s the same thing as a cleaning basic cleaning but a little deeper and done with laser well, I’ve gone 75 years without deep cleaning until Las Vegas. I didn’t mind Las Vegas due to the cost. I hope this helps your analytical aspect of deep cleaning versus patient Choice And really get a waiver sheet. We do it in surgery.

Negative experience: Scam scam scam go to Missouri it’s a lot cheaper I paid 2000 for Invisalign I asked for a replacement they refuse to give it and then they try to charge me for the second pair saying that they gonna charge me just to get fitted again nothing but a scam specially, the manager there you’re better off going to Missouri. They just trying to screw people off. Do not go here

Fantastic experience: I recently just went in for a dental cleaning for the first time in awhile and I was pretty anxious because I knew my teeth weren’t on the prettier side. And I have had experiences in the past where whoever was working on my teeth, would not hide the judgement in their tone or face. But I am so grateful I did not experience that here. This appointment made me aware that I have several cavities and when the dental assistant explained it to me, she was very nice and understanding of why my teeth are this bad. And I usually never write reviews but this was my first dental cleaning by myself and the staff really made me feel at ease and even after the exam was finished and I was talking to whoever does the financial stuff, she broke everything down for me and explained each thing (the one with the pretty red hair). I am now going to them regularly for cleanings and I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else. (I also apologize for not remembering names)

Positive experience: We paid over 30 thousand for dental work on crowns my dad's crown came off 4 times and it looks like the tooth was shaved down to much to hold the crown on and its my dad's front tooth and he's 76yrs old and it fell off this weekend he almost choked on it he's so upset . He has to go to a place everyday to inter act with people and he is so embarrassed about his front tooth out. And last month he went for a cleaning and the same crown fell out while they were cleaning his teeth and the dentist said, okay it won't come out anymore, bit guess again it did. This Sunday I'm so upset because of all the money we paid and his crown is still falling out

Fantastic experience: I started out a week ago to pick a new dentist because I moved from St. Louis to Illinois five years ago and I was going back-and-forth to St. Louis with my old dentist and I didn’t like that office once the ownership change. but when I contacted Cambridge Dental services on Friday of last week I received appointment on Monday of this week. I went and got my teeth cleaned. The staff is phenomenal. The Office location is awesome and the customer service is great. They were polite, courteous, and excepting of a new patient, the work that was done for me is only a teeth cleaning every six months I met the doctor the owner I believe fantastic thank you guys for taking me in as a new patient. I felt comfortable and at home great job.

Negative experience: I would star this with zero stars. I’ve been a patient here for years and recently…about 2 months ago, I got my 2nd bridge put in, based on the recommendation of the doctor, due to food trap issues. After healing from the bridge, I discovered that my bridge never adhered to my gums, causing a very noticeable gap between my gums and the bridge, causing a food trap that was worse than the one I had prior to getting this work done. I made an appointment, went in to see Dr Brubaker, that up until this very appointment has been very nice. He looked in my mouth and told me that was a side effect of having a bridge!! This is something that is not disclosed prior to scheduling a $3000 service. So after he rudely told me there was nothing he could do, he told me to go get a second opinion and proceeded to walk out of the room. It was such an uncomfortable and rude response, that his assistant was even taken back by his response and kept apologizing for what had just occurred. So now I’m living with a misplaced faulty bridge that he refuses to fix!!!

Fantastic experience: They had great compassion, and worked me and as quickly as they could, even though they had a full schedule. They took great care of me, I have great confidence and their abilities, and I would trust nobody else besides Cambridge dental care.

I have been seeing Dr. Brubaker for several years now and all started with having to have several teeth pulled, because at the time that was the least expensive option for me. I have been to several dentists through the years only for work that absolutely had to be done because of infection and pain. Let me tell you, in all of the past visits with other dentists, if they had made it as pain free and affordable, my teeth would have never reached the level they are today. After some work and extensive cleaning, I finally have respectable looking teeth. Dr. Brubaker, you and your staff are the best I have ever dealt with. Thank you for all you do. God Bless you all.

Fantastic experience: This is the place I would recommend everybody was nice and very Pleasant and worked with me to help me to get over my fear of seeing the dentist. See I have a fear of dentist since I had a bad experience as a child, but these people got me. And worked with me, and their prices are not unreasonable and they’re not push you like some dentist trying to push more expensive dental work on you they leave that up to you. That’s why I give them a five star review.

Fantastic experience: After some tedious searching for dental care on par with my previous (amazing) Nashville, TN dental care provider, I think I've found the best office in town! The administrative staff and hygienists were all incredibly sweet. The hygienist who did my cleaning explained copays before doing anything, clearly communicated exactly what she was doing and why, and always made sure I was comfortable. The dentist was knowledgeable, kind, and actively listened to any of my questions or concerns. As someone with experience having various oral piercings, it was super refreshing that no one reiterated the obvious possible issues regarding piercings. It was incredibly respectful service all around. I'm looking forward to seeing them all for future visits!

Through out my life this is the only dentist office I pay so much outta pocket. Note I have top of the line dental insurance

Fantastic experience: I switched dentists about 2 years ago, after we moved. Cambridge has been great! They’re always so friendly and are always willing to fully explain procedures and such. Update: Cambridge is such a great place! I got my wisdom teeth extracted six weeks ago, by an oral surgeon and a few days ago, I started getting some extreme pain from one of the extraction sites, that ‘s radiating along my gums. I haven’t slept in 2 days. I called them this morning and they were able to get me in same day! They were so understanding and worked to help me alleviate my pain. Thank you, Dr. Brubaker and everyone at Cambridge!

Negative experience: Having a dental emergency and was refused an emergency appointment. However, I been in contact with someone prior on numerous occasions because I was on the priority list. I have an appointment scheduled for March 2024. However, the pain has become severe. So called and was refused emergency appointment due to household bill in collection. Confused because I haven’t been in to see the dentist. Long story short turns out my insurance paid their portion but my wife insurance didn’t pay their portion. We didn’t receive no call, email or text. So we paid the 116 plus the collection fee instantly. However, I don’t think I wanna put my dental care in the hands of dentist practice that will not see an patient having extreme pain because of a 116 dollar pass due bill that’s not even the patient’s making the emergency appointment. So honestly I can’t afford to receive butchered Dentistry work cause that may be a strong possibility based on this encounter over 116 bucks. So I called another dentist that happens to have a 5 star rating and got an appointment right away. It don’t bother me that I will have to drive 30 something milies instead of 4-6 miles or have to pay a little more for services.
