Fantastic experience: One I messed up on my appointment time and because I was in pain they found a way to get me in still that day and help the problem he also seen I was nervous and understood and was cool about it. And he talks to you like a human it didn’t feel cold Dr office feel it was very clean everyone was nice I have no complaints. And I appreciate them squeezing me in when they didn’t have to at all when it was my fault. Thank you again.

Positive experience: Professional, competent staff accommodating to patient needs. Cleaning and exam a bit rushed though, for the most part, not at the expense of completeness. Perhaps having only one dentist, as good as he may be, is the limitation. Pricing seems to be on par with other dental offices…not inexpensive. HS

The hygienist and dentist made me feel comfortable and did an excellent cleaning and exam. I will recommend them to everyone.

There was only one here that made me comfortable he retired, little did I know that his Son was the Dentist here. Between him and the staff my anxiety was gone when I left! I'm ready now can't wait to go back ☺️

Positive experience: I decided to change my dentist and I had a tooth that had cracked that needed fixed. So it took two times to fix it and I feel it isn’t the way I wanted it. When I got home and looked at the tooth it was much shorter than it had been before. I see the Dr. again for an extraction. I’m a senior and it’s very hard to afford dental care and no insurance. I’m hoping I can have this tooth redone to my satisfaction.

Negative experience: Recently the top 2 front teeth of my partial broke off. I called in immediately. 11 am on Wednesday. Cannot get me in. Will call me back after speaking with scheduler. Did not hear back until the next morning. On Thursday I find out they cannot get me in until Monday. I will have 2 visits in the same day. No problem. I received my partial. While I appreciate the care given me by Dr Gilman and his staff I was very surprised and dissatisfied to have to wait as long as I had to.

I have a lot of anxiety when going to the dentist (due to childhood experience) and was instantly put at ease by the kindness of the staff and Dr. Gilman. There was a slight mixup with scheduling and they were quick to correct. Very impressed with kindness Dr. Gilman showed me and his approach to my concerns. Aimee (the hygienist I saw) was very kind, as well. Highly recommend this dentist and office staff!

Fantastic experience: I had an issue with a tooth that was causing pain and discomfort, and I suspected there might be infection. I called Family Dental Care at 9 am and was scheduled for 10:10! The problem was diagnosed, I was put on antibiotics and a root canal was scheduled. I was pleased with how quickly my problem was handled! Dr. Gilman and his staff are always caring and attentive and make me feel comfortable! .

Fantastic experience: Dental visits can sometimes be not very enjoyable. But from check ups, cleanings to even out of the norm issue popping up. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone there is friendly, helpful and good at what they do. They go above and beyond for their patients.

Negative experience: My hygienist Cassidy talked to me horribly…. I did not understand the periodontal treatment fully and I didn’t know my cleanings would cost me each time. When I asked her about the explanation of being diagnosed with periodontal disease she was extremely hateful. She raised her voice at me. I couldn’t believe the way she spoke to me. I’m now looking into getting a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was a rush job. Lost a bridge the evening before we were to go in a quick vacay. I was given a slot early the next day and the bridge was reinstalled. 8 have had the bridge reinstalled for 6 days, and I haven't had any problem with it. Fantastic experience: Dr. Gilman replaced a bridge that another dentist had put on. Before the first dentist retired he promised he would fix it for free if it broke. Dr.Gilman honored that promise even though he was not required to do so. He and his staff are great!

Positive experience: I have had bad experiences with dentists as a child and as an adult I have avoided going to the dentist unless my tooth pain was excruciating. Previous dentist appointments as an adult I felt judged and there was no empathy for my anxiety and fear of dentists. I'm so glad the staff at Terre Haute Family dental acknowledged my fears and made me feel as comfortable as I could be during my appointment. I'm confident my future visits will be great

Negative experience: I just wasted my time and money taking my daughter here. I had no idea that the dentist didn’t do fillings & that he refers to somewhere else. So now after I paid them $100 for nothing I have to go and pay for the exact same thing I paid for today somewhere else. If I would have known this I would have taken her somewhere else. This should be clearly communicated before the appointment. Not everyone has 100s of dollars to just throw away. & that is exactly what I did today. So disappointed.
