Negative experience: Office is unprofessional. Maya will gaslight you, berate you and talk over you and not allow you to speak. She will make assumptions and talk to you like you’re a dog. Dr’s do not take responsibility for their work and in my case sent me to the emergency room and the ER said the dentist who did the work needs to assist asap. I am stuck with a mouth that I cannot open, cannot eat or drink. No support from the staff just 10 minutes of being yelled at by maya. Find somewhere else to go.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start. This office from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave is more than pleasant to be there. Axel has being more than a helpful person through my process of visiting and finding the right dentists since I have had bad experiences. They are so professional and humble not to mention they make you feel like you are part of the family. Jeremy has being the guy in charge of my cleaning and let me say I had a big fear to come to the dentist office but this guy from day one has made it so easy and comfortable for my process. Today was my second deep cleaning and when I tell you I wouldn’t mind going back to the office and doing it all over again that’s how professional and gentle he is to make it as pleasant as possible. If you are looking for a dentist this is the place and JEREMY is the man to see.

Negative experience: I'm very frustrated with the service received today when I called into the office to inquire about a bill from November 2024. The receptionist placed me on hold for over 20 mins and then returned to the call and spoke to me as if I was bothering her when I asked her to submit this back to my insurance as I was instructed by Insurance company. This young lady Melissa is rude and obnoxious every time I call, and I have complained about her before, but she has not changed. I asked her to transfer me to billing department or office manager she put me on again and then hung up. I called back and let a voicemail, no one have called back yet, it's been 2 hours since I called. I have been going to this office for over ten years and the previous front office staff was pleasant and easy to talk. I have an upcoming appointment that I am considering cancelling because I do not want to speak to her again. She needs to be trained on how to respond to people whether on the phone or in the office. Receiving a bill over $600 from 8 months ago is crazy. I was just there in March and wasn't advised about this, as I explained this, she said there is nothing we can do already sent to insurance as if she never heard me tell her what my insurance company advised me to do.

I am terrified of the dentist, but it came to the point where I had to get treatment. From the moment I walked through those doors, til the moment I left their service has been unmatched. Positive experience: Henessy, Regel & Dr. Cobo was great! Henessy’s very bubbly & chill (just like me), very easy to talk to :)! Regel’s always have a light & easy hand, & I recommend him for my whole family! Dr. Cobo acknowledged my concern re MA’s having a lot of work comp injuries such as accidental needle sticks, as I work in Centra Care as a provider, seeing quite a bit of such injuries, not just fr ur office but all dental offices, she was more than willing to listen to suggestions about use of safety needle guards we use in our clinic. I did have an issue about a service code that “was not covered.” I am in contact with/ Jeniffer, ur mgr & CIGNA to resolve this issue.

The dentist clearly explained my options and respected my ability to make decisions without any pressure. I especially appreciated that my treatment plan was displayed on the screen for easy review, and the payment details (including what my insurance covered) were broken down with full transparency. That level of clarity is almost unheard of in the medical field, where surprise bills are often the norm. The only downside is getting there—thanks to the typical Kissimmee traffic on John Young Parkway. But once you're inside, the experience is worth it. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to ATA dental for about 3 years now. The people there are amazing. Yesterday I went for a cleaning. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the Office Manager Jen. She knows me by name and always greets me with a smile and kind words. My Hygienists were Hennessey and Rigel. Both of them are professional and caring. They make the process quick and easy. Great job as usual ATA dental. Keep up the great work.

The front office receptionist staff is so professional, kind and friendly when you first enter after getting off the elevator. The rest rooms are so clean as well as the office. You could probably eat off the floor. Dr. Santiago is absolutely a professional. The way she carries herself and demeanor you can hardly fine in this day and age. Prior to her working on you, she explains everything in detail, there wasn't any pain while working on your teeth. I'm due to return but I like the afternoons and Dr. Santiago doesn't have a scheduled afternoon until the month of May. I am willing to wait just to see her. Fantastic experience: I recently had to have my first filling - which I was so nervous for! However, ATA dental made the experience way better than I expected it to be. Dr Joe was excellent and kind and I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever. Iris was also so sweet and helped make me feel at ease prior to the procedure starting. They also took the time to answer any question I had which was really appreciated. Every time I come to ATA dental the staff is friendly and good at what they do. Fantastic experience: My experience with the whiting treatment then filling went very well. Nicole did the whiting, it went well, the whiting treatment went better then expected and I got the color I wanted my teeth to look. It took only one visit to get everything done. Dr. Cobo did the filling and it went quickly and was very well done. I'm happy with the results.

Negative experience: I had an 8 AM appointment. I arrived at about 7:45. I was called in about 8:30 and seated in the chair. After about 10 minutes I was told she would be back in a few minutes to discuss the treatment plan. That left me wondering - since I was there with my full upper to have a tooth replaced after in came out. After another 15 minutes she came back and told me ( I guess after realizing why I was there) the upper would be back Thursday and what time would I like to have an appointment. So after over an hour waiting I finannly received the service I went there for. I think the techs need to know/realize why the clients are there and react appropriately.

Fantastic experience: This place is second to none. I have not been to the Dentist in over 10 years, and this was when I lived in New Jersey. I recently had a emergency root canal done and needed a crown done within a 30 day time frame, and all of the local offices had no openings until 2 months later. Frantic I asked for recommendations and was referred to ATA. I contacted them and explained the situation and they had me in their office the next day as an emergency visit. I naturally get anxiety at the Dentists but this office is completely different, they made everything seem absolute seamless and with no hassle whatso ever. Axel was incredible at sending me all the information I needed to make the next day easy. Nicole and Dr Santiago were absolutely astounding with their communication, patience and over all patient service to me. Not only was I able to get my tooth fixed, they were also able to give me a comprehensive check up on my overall oral health, plan a road map for my long time dental health, and even filled in some old fillings that fell out. This office and it's people are a God send and I fully intend on making them my primary dental office, I can't see myself going anywhere else and get this quality of service.

Fantastic experience: Even though going to the dentist is fairly far down on my list of favorite things to do, I’ve gotta say ATA Dental makes it a far more pleasant experience. Everyone there works to make sure that every interaction is a positive one. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I regularly see Dr Joe and he’s always ready to address any questions or concerns I might have. It also helps that he’s got a good sense of humor - a sure way to put me at ease. The office is the most up to date, comprehensive facility I’ve ever gone to. That’s important because it means there’s far less possibility of my having to go somewhere else if I need anything other than routine care. All in all I’m very happy to have found ATA Dental and know that, if I need help, it’s just a phone call away.

Fantastic experience: Received permenant crown today, with the help of dental assistant Nicole and Dr Cobo. First, let me say, it was relaxing, fun and quick. We turn on the heated chair cause it was a cold Fl day and all was good. These angels are professional, pleasant and efficient. My fix is perfect, I let them know where there was any discomfort and they worked to perfection. Did I mention that the music was on point, too. Seriously though, the service is great here, and Nicole and Dr Cobo are ALWAYS amazing, careful, and inclusive when I come for dental needs. Can't recommend them enough. Ask for them and you will see for yourselves.

Fantastic experience: There was a little hiccup before I was seen for my appointment, that pushed it back a little, but that wasn’t their fault. It was all mine because I wasn’t prepared w/the necessary information that was required on my part. After that it was smooth sailing from there. The dentist came in, told me what was going on, & what needed to be done. All the information given was concise, & straightforward. The assistant also did a good job. Everyone I met up w/were very nice to me, & so professional. This was the first dentist that I’ve visited since moving down here two years ago. No regrets whatsoever.

Negative experience: Not immediate care. Exams and insurance first, treatment later. I had an emergency dental appointment here (Drove 30 minutes) expecting to get treated for my issue. The staff and I had agreed that this appointment would address my fillings, and I would return later for first patient visit exams, after that if any issues, I would need to make another appointment for treatment and care. Instead, I waited 45 minutes to be seen, only for them to take X-rays, confirm I needed fillings, and then tell me to come back for another appointment to get my fillings done. (???) To make things worse, they plan to charge my insurance again for panoramic X-rays during the "first-time visit," which my insurance only covers every 5 years. After that, maybe I'll finally get treated on a third appointment! Then at the front desk, I had a staff member trying to explain why I wasn't being treated during my emergency appointment, openly discussing my findings like she could truly "feel my pain." Not only was this unhelpful, but it also showed a complete disregard for HIPAA laws by discussing my personal medical details in the open for anyone to hear. Is this really how this office operates? You book an emergency appointment, only to be told to come back? It's clear they prioritize billing insurance for exams over actually addressing patient needs. I'm in pain, but that seems secondary to their desire to stack charges. This is by far the worst dental office I've ever been to. I will be requesting my X-rays so I can take my business elsewhere. Avoid this place unless you're okay with endless appointments and no immediate care. And for the record, I don't care how much their staff will excuse or tries to apologize in a reply to this review. This is for anyone else who has the same problem and needs immediate care. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this clinic entirely.

Positive experience: The staff and Dr Ata ŵere very professional and accommodating concerning my special needs. I gave them 4 stars because they gave me a lengthy new patient form and disclosure forms to fill in when I arrived instead of sending them to me online prior to my appointment.

Fantastic experience: My first visit with Ata Dental and what a great experience it was! The staff is so friendly and the office is so clean and cheery. They didn’t accept my insurance but gave me another option to become a member, which I signed up for immediately. I didn’t have to wait at all for the doctor or the hygienist. I’m going to recommend to my husband for sure!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a cleaning and was concerned about some small chipping on my 2 front teeth. The hygienist asked Dr Ata if he could find time to fit me in and take care of the chips. He did so which eliminated the need for another appt. Plus my teeth looked better! Thank you so much for making this happen for me!

Negative experience: In the beginning I was so pleased with their service only that they knew about my diabetes, every time when I had my appointments they kept me no less than 4 hours. Last appointment I had Dr. got very upset because I had to leave and my husband and grandson were waiting for so long. Not to mentioned to my surprised they charged me $200 over and only because the insurance find out they contacted them and then they called me for my refund afterwards. The “religious” manager and doctor if they gonna be talking about their beliefs should really pay a little better attention to that strange attitude.

Fantastic experience: Doctors ATA (Omar and Joseph) have a well deserved good reputation, I have known them for years. Their work is up to the highest standards and so is their service. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good serious dentist.

Fantastic experience: Years ago I went to another dentist for a filling and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. A lot of pain and discomfort during the filling happened and it made me not want to go to another dentist for years. Recently I realized I needed a crown so I tried ATA Dental. This place was amazing. The doctors were very friendly and attentive. Dr. Cobo was amazing. She made me feel relaxed and was extremely gentle and i felt no pain whatsoever. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience: Very professional office and staff, no waiting, was taken as soon as I arrived. Dr ATA was prompt, placed an implant in jaw, no pain at any time, treatment was completed in less than an hour. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ata was very detailed in explaining the challenges of my teeth and how to fix the issues. Rigel was also very thorough in doing the deep cleaning. I had not been to a dentist in 3 years. My previous dentist I had gone to for 25 years had closed his office. I just kept putting off finding a dentist. Go to a dentist regularly. It will be so much easier.

Negative experience: Horrible experience they convinced me to remove my old filling and replace it, know it’s been months and I’m still having issues, I’m suffering with it, it’s soooo sensitive to hot, cold and sweets. I was fine before that for over 27 years and now I can’t be in any peace. I should have stick to just cleaning. I’m so upset with myself for having them touch the old filling, (smh) why would they do that is it just for the money? Just to get the insurance money? But then leave me in misery. This is the location at hunters creek. I trusted them, but they fooled me they did.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Ata Dental has been excellent. Teeth cleaned twice, great results. Dr Santiago performed root canal on 2 teeth. She was professional and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Best dentist I’ve ever been to. From check in to check out they were excellent and informative. I’ve even decided to switch over my kids dentist to come here too after I saw how kind and patient they were with my 4 year old. The facility is clean, well maintained and the staff was amazing. Did I mention they even have massage chairs? Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Went here 2018-2019 when I was living in this part of town. Stopped going because we moved almost an hour away. Wife and I started getting bills from them from 2021 even though we never went since we moved in early 2020, and I don't understand how they could find additional charges since we always paid up front for the work. Your billing/accounting department needs to get their act together.
