Fantastic experience: We recently moved to the gadsden area and had not established medical or dental contacts when my crown came off. This office and Dr Andy Brunson took me the day I called. The people who work here are exceptionally kind and helpful . The office is equipped with every modern tool and my crown replacement procedure was painless. Dr Andy was very kind, intelligent, and explained everything without being condescending. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them as my routine dentist.A+

Fantastic experience: Here is my review if anyone is interested. I was a Dental Assistant for 25 years. So when I go into a dental office I see and hear things differently then patients with no dental background. This place is awesome. Clean, friendly , professional and funny. This will be my new dental office. Very pleased and happy to have found an office that feels right. Thank you Legacy Dental for not disappointing me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used this office in the past and had great experiences every time. Today is the first time I’ve had Dr. Culp and Emma and they were fantastic! There were a couple others that assisted as well, I believe one of their names is Lexie (forgive me if I misspelled). She was great as well! I had a lot of work done today, and throughout the whole process, they made sure I was comfortable and as pain free as possible. I have struggled with self consciousness in my smile for several years, but now I’m re-learning how to smile while actually showing my teeth, instead of hiding them, because they are already looking so much better! Dr. Culp, Emma, Lexie, (as well as every one else I’ve had in the past) have a passion for what they do and it’s evident. I won’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional experience. They worked me in with an emergency when no other dentist would. They helped me with my insurance with me being a new patient. Dr Douthit was amazing and his assistant was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Fantastic experience: I absolutely HATE going to the dentist. It gives me horrible anxiety to even think about going. Recently I had no choice but to go. Legacy is like no other dental office I've been to. Everyone there was friendly, comforting, and kind. Dr. Douthit and Lexi made my experience great. I've never had a visit like that and I'll never go anywhere else but Legacy!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is ver nice and professional. Also love the fact they also see kids but will not hold them down for cleanings which is great. They like to gradually get them use to having their teeth cleaned instead of holding them down and traumatizing them like most pediatric dentist do. Would highly recommend them for adults and kids.

Fantastic experience: I've been through a few sessions here. As an individual with Asperger getting a team who understands, is highly professional, and accommodating is rare. I had an issue, but I believe it was misunderstanding & has been resolved. Overall, I don't regret changing facilities. I should add that on my first visit, I got cold & Ms. Janet got me a blanket. Furthermore, she took the time to introduce the team I'd be receiving dental care from. This is an amazing group. * Snoopy isn't at this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Needed to see a dentist for a cracked tooth. Got a next day appointment and could not be more satisfied with the care I received. From Carol at the front desk to Savannah and Dr. Douthitt, everyone was great and friendly. If anyone knows me, seeing a dentist is not on my top ten list of people to see. Happy they were able to take care of my dental needs. 5 Stars!

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of anxiety and discomfort going into this. Getting top and bottom dentures. Dr. Brunson is very professional and calmed my fears and explained every step of the way. He reassured me that everything will work out. It all takes time. My dentures look and feel great. I'm very pleased. Dr. Brunson and his staff is very supportive and kind. Fantastic experience: I’m a long time patient of Dr. Brunson and have always had great experiences! All of the team at Legacy Dental is amazing. I recently took my little boy to his first visit and everyone was so great with him!

Negative experience: Dr. Culp said I needed 5 crowns due to large fillings and Dr. Brunson agreed. Both seemed irritated when I questioned this, and Dr. Brunson was particularly rude. Their concern was the size, not the condition, of the fillings. These "large" fillings have been fine for years, done by various licensed dentists, and none of the five other dentists I've seen across three states suggested crowns. Some of these fillings are inlays and onlays, which generally last over 20 years. Legacy Dental has good reviews for friendly staff, but be cautious if crowns are recommended quickly. As an interesting note, Legacy Dental does crowns “in house” which makes me wonder if that could be the reason they appear to “upsell” crowns. I do not recommend Drs. Culp or Brunson and I’ve moved on. Dr. Brunson, if you want to discuss this review; you are welcome to call me.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, well trained and courteous employees. I am pleased with the experience I had at Legacy, had a crown put in and installed in 2 hours.

Fantastic experience: Legacy Dental has all the technology to get your teeth fixed fast. I had a chipped tooth that was already compromised with a large filling. My appointment was at 1pm. By 3pm, I had my permanent crown because they make them right there! So, 2 hours and my smile looks great and no more chipped tooth to deal with. Yay!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tooth extraction, I live about 30 minutes away, and let me tell you, I could live an hour away and the care you receive at legacy dental would make it worth it. Holly sr the front desk was kind to me from the second I entered and even before that when calling. She rolled with my appointment set backs with ease and Dr. Douthit and Lexi took amazing care of me for my extraction and went out of their way to make a print off of all the expenses when I had worry about cost, they definitely don’t overcharge either the prices are great, one week out from the procedure and the sutures were perfect and I’ve had no complications. It was the easiest visit I’ve ever had for dental work. The vibes are immaculate and everyone has amazing personalities. They even offer you a pillow and a blanket to make you comfortable.if you’re looking for a dentist this is the place, it’s worth whatever drive and wait.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit with Legacy dental. I received a deep cleaning and a treatment plan which included two crowns. Their crowns are made on site, and I was able to get my first crown in today. The whole experience at Legacy dental was nice. The dental assistants and hygienist were so friendly, down to earth, and made my visit completely comfortable. Dr. Douthit did not disappoint in his demeanor, knowledge, and bedside manner. The ladies at the desk were prompt with the treatment plan and seeing if we could be fit in for a crown today. The doc and staff were all still pleasant after they ended up having to stay a few mins late for my crown! (Sorry, guys!) I will go for a few more appointments here, and if still satisfied, I will bring the rest of the family! If this review does not get updated, just know we remained satisfied!

Fantastic experience: I was scheduled for a cleaning when a tooth issue occurred. The staff referred me to an Endodontist for the next day for a root canal to help end my misery. The cleaning had to be postponed for a couple of weeks. Staff was very pleasant and professional. I will return soon for completion of the cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service. Even when slightly understaffed. Dentist Andrew Dauthit was a great listener, took his time with my needs and other patients. The whole staff was great. Highly recommend going to see them for all your dental care.

Fantastic experience: The latest and greatest technology! Everything you need for your entire family. Not only is this a fantastic practice, but the love they have for their patients is above and beyond and it shows! I drive 5 hours one way so that should tell you all you need to know! Nothing but love for each and everyone there!

Positive experience: She claims the cap she made is not bigger than my other teeth-but it is! Or my sinus was punctured and the infection will not go away and moves around. I can’t chew on that side very much without gum swelling and hurting-not the tooth. I was immediately referred to another dentist—but nerve doesn’t hurt to warrant root canal. All I know is how foreign and ruff cap is and infection still has not cleared up after 10 days!

I have always had anxiety going to the dentist because of my experiences as a child getting cavities filled. Fantastic experience: I’ve had a fear of the dentist since I was a child, and as an adult now I’m so grateful Dr. culp was so patient and kind with me during my appointment. Truly put me at ease and made it so much less scary for me.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency. Legacy Dental took me in and evaluated my broken tooth. Dr. Brunson wasn't comfortable pulling the tooth since the roots were in my sinus cavity, but immediately started searching for an oral surgeon that could get me in as fast as possible and assured me that if an oral surgeon couldn't fit me in he would make sure the tooth wouldn't pain me too bad. I'm looking forward to Legacy Dental being my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: As a patient and medical worker I have to say this is the most efficient, professional and kindest office I have been to. The staff is always so nice and helpful. The front office girls are always so friendly and greet you as if you are the only patient in the world. That means alot when you are so nervous and anxious. This office staff and the dentist definitely make a visit to the dentist chair more tolerable.

Fantastic experience: I got a crown put on my front tooth. Dr. Cup matched it perfectly with my other teeth. You can’t even tell that I have a crown. It is wonderful. The first crown they put on had an issue with the tooth since it had a root canal done in it first. Dr. Cult has no issue putting a crown on that tooth even though that tooth had a root canal done first. They are great.

Fantastic experience: I had to change my dentist due to moving and I wasn’t thrilled about having to get acquainted with another dental office and maybe not liking the way they run their business. However, from the time I entered Legacy Dental to the time I left I felt comfortable and extremely pleased with my in depth visit and cleaning. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful and professional as well as the dental hygienist. If I can recall her name is Lisa and she is one of the best dental hygienists I have dealt with. Dr. Culp answered all my questions and was pleasant as well as professional. Also, the was office was clean and aesthetically pleasing. I am relieved to have found Legacy Dental because finding a capable, kind and professional dental office where all the employees are working harmoniously to give the patients an excellent experience is not always easy.

Fantastic experience: They are amazing. I pulled out my bridge at a time that should have inconvenienced them. But the certainly didn't act inconvenienced. They were happy to help. Dr. Culp fixed me up in no time. They are extraordinary.

Negative experience: Got my wisdom teeth removed here, as well as an old broken tooth that had been broken for many years. The reason for the low rating is because the broken tooth in question was a tooth I broke in a swimming pool when I was 12 years old. It had been infected with a recurring abscess on and off throughout my entire life (at the time it was removed by Legacy Dental, I was 31 years old). Upon hearing this, the dental assistant immediately denied the veracity of my claim, stating that I "would have died" if the tooth had been in such a state for that long. Like what? First of all, why would I lie about when it was broken? Especially when I very clearly remember the incident in question that caused the tooth breakage. Secondly, it happened when I was a kid and I'm alive as an adult who has received antibiotics many times throughout my life for various infections--so yeah, maybe in a world where antibiotics didn't exist, or a country in which antibiotics were unavailable, I would have died. BUT, as fortune would have it, I was born and raised in the good ol' USA...so OF COURSE I wouldn't have died from a broken abscessed tooth. I have had antibiotics for a myriad of infections throughout my life, which would have also helped keep infection down in that abscessed tooth. So the reason for the low rating is the audacious ignorance of a dental assistant to tell me what I have or haven't experienced in life/what has or hasn't happened to me. What a terrible way to run a business, where you, knowing nothing about people's lives, feel like you have the right or the place to tell someone whether or not something actually happened to them, as if you are the pillar and compass of morality by which all truths are measured. Quit being a garbage human.

The woman who cleaned and cared for me while I was there was absolutely amazing even when my appointment was taking longer than expected she didn’t rush through she took the time to let me know ways to help improve and care better for my teeth. Fantastic experience: The only reason they get five stars is because I can't leave ten! This is the best dental clinic in Gadsden (or Etowah County), without question. I've been with them well over 16 years, and I'm not going ANYWHERE. They are all highly-skilled, professional and polite, with technology I'd never seen until I saw it here. I remember when crowns took weeks to do; they did mine in less than two hours. Literally! I could go on for hours about these people. Just try them out for yourself. Fantastic experience: This is absolutely the best dental experience I've ever had. I had to have 6 cavities filled due to radiation and chemo last year. I've always been scared of the dentist because of bad experiences as a child.Dr.Culp and her staff were wonderful,couldn't have been better. Fantastic experience: Angela cleaned my teeth today - she was very thorough but gentle - even did a manual check of my jaw and neck for any unusual feeling . She is friendly and professional as all the hygienists are that have cleaned my teeth. You can't go wrong with Angela, Tiffany, Lisa, Sherry or Amy !! And Dr. Brunson and Dr. Culp as well !!

Fantastic experience: Regular cleaning appt this morning with Lisa Whitten. Not only has she become a good friend through the years I’ve been a patient of Legacy Dental, she has eased my fears of dental appointments. Lisa and Dr Brunson are the best!!!

Positive experience: Nice staff very friendly not happy about being told one amount and then being charged another. I feel like the charge went up when what my insurance pays went up. Was told lab cost changed.Not sure I would want to go back. Good job on the work but I have trust issues and this doesn’t help. Dr. Brunson is very nice and does a good job. Just not sure how I feel about the other.

Fantastic experience: Lexi and Dr. Culp teamed up to give me a good experience. The procedure was complicated, but they got me through it. Couple of Tylenol, and the trauma was settled, and the new work fit. I like the care, compassion, and expertise!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and clean office. Staff very friendly, professional but also personable. Angela, my hygienist took her time, answered my questions and did a thorough cleaning. Dr. Brunson introduced himself and welcomed me to Legacy. He took time to actually sit down and discuss my dental health and answer any questions. I would certainly recommend this Dental office based on my visit for a routine cleaning and exam as a new patient.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Legacy Dental was great. I've been three times now, twice for more involved dental work, and each time I walked away pleased. The dentists, hygienists, and staff were skilled, kind, and thoughtful. Dr. Culp was friendly and thorough and took time to explain procedures to me and help me feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: I had a severely abscessed tooth with very deep roots. Dr Brunson and Savannah were amazing. It was a long procedure but they stopped for me to rest my jaw often. Fantastic experience: I have been using Dr. Brunson for many years and absolutely love love love him and his staff! They are truly like family. The past couple of visits I was treated by Dr. Headley. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with the staff at Legacy today. It was my first visit to the dentist in 24 years and I was a bit apprehensive. My hyge nest was not only professional but also kind and engaging, checking on me often. The best thing I can say is Sherry did not hurt me while taking care of me today. Thank you to everyone at Legacy Dental, I will be back.

Fantastic experience: Have not one bad thing to say about this place and all of the staff/workers. They’re absolutely amazing!! Always making sure you’re comfortable and okay. Have watched them treat people who weren’t the nicest, with so much love that it even won them over haha. Best place to go hands down!! (Had to add how amazing Sherry is!!)

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few years! The staff is amazing and Dr. Brunson is always great, he will explain to you everything he's going to do and is always careful to make sure it's a pain free experience even when I had a root Canal. They have a lot of State Of The Art equipment! Including being able to make a crown in house so I didn't have to come back or wait for a permanent crown. Come as a patient and leave as family!

Fantastic experience: We love Legacy Dental, everyone is so kind, caring and professional from the moment you walk in the door. The building is clean, new and maintained nicely. The dental equipment is like something out of Star Trek, very cool. My teeth have been cleaned by several of their hygienist and love them all! Dr. Brunson and his team are like family .

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff! SO helpful! I was in bad pain Friday, and they were able to squeeze me in for x-rays and seeing what the problem was. The doctor even came in to discuss the x-rays with me! I love Legacy Dental!
