Fantastic experience: Always provide courtesy and professional service.

Positive experience: I called to make an appointment as I couldn't get ahold of my dentist (Aspen Dental) nor any other Dental provider in Ottumwa to help me with my cracked tooth... Kirksville Dental Group got me in the following Monday...but they only took XRays and told me what I already knew about having a cracked tooth....they did say a Crown procedure was needed but it takes time...I figured since they knew I was coming with a cracked tooth, they would do something, a temporary Crown, or even paint the tooth to make it less sensitive, but no they gave no treatment...I don't mind waiting if I am expecting that. The dental assistant and dentist is nice, ...no problem there, just don't expect a 5 star review if you are going to have me drive 75 minutes away, and not even treat the problem....in fact they set the crown procedure appointment 6 weeks away from now, so will just need to deal with tooth sensitivity for the next 6 weeks....I understand the procedure takes more time than they had, but then don't agree to make the appointment unless you're willing to give treatment or at least tell me up front what to expect.

Fantastic experience: I had horrible tooth pain and walked in and the receptionist was so sweet and they worked me in and extracted one tooth. Michelle was so kind and patient with me and Dr. Harden gave me additional numbing agent prior to and during the procedure. I scheduled an appointment for January to establish as s patient as I would never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Greeted upon arrival. Both the polisher Bella and the hygienist Emily were great. Odd that they polish first and then clean. I was told that polishing helps to loosen the plaque. First time for the polishing first in 40 years of dental work for me. Glad we have a good dental office in town as so many dentists are retiring in this area.

Negative experience: I had broken a tooth, and told them I likely needed a root canal because the tooth already had a filling. They just put a temporary over it and told me the pain was in my head. Yeah, no shit. The tooth is in my head and that's where the pain is. I have been in 3 times now to fix it and am now on my 3rd week of continuous pain. The entire time the doc has deflected and minimized my concerns while denying my requests for them to do additional tests. It's gotten so bad I've lost all trust in the staff and had to tell the facility that I will not allow the doc they assigned me to work on me again.

Positive experience: Im from a nearby college, and called to ask if they could help me with my braces. They said they could get me in the next day; I was running late(10min) the next day and got a call from them saying since I am late they have to cancel the appointment. What was weirder was that they said they couldn’t reschedule me and I couldn’t come back there. I am and still am so confused as to why I’m practically banned because I was running late to my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that I had been causing me some serious pain. Due to circumstances and I couldn’t get to the dentist to have it looked at. After a weekend of excruciating pain and my circumstances having changed, I called the dental office early on a Monday. I got an appointment that afternoon and the tooth was painlessly extracted. As always all of the office staff, dental assistant, and dentist were very kind.

I called KDG and they gave me an appointment for the next day. I was on my lunch hour, and they got me in and out fast. I’m extremely satisfied with the entire experience.
