Positive experience: Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Exam and x-rays seemed quite thorough.,Only wish it didn’t take so long to get an appointment. Staff is very nice.,m They do tell you about all the options available if you want a perfect mouth. Quick about giving you a cost estimate on all of that too. Unfortunately most dental insurances cover very little but routine maintenance.

He made me as comfortable as possible and stopped immediately when I signaled I had a problem. I would recommend him highly. The support staff is also very helpful, friendly and informative. Dr George's follow up visits have gone just as well. I want to thank him and his staff for making a traumatic procedure as painless as possible.

Negative experience: I recently visited this dental office and had a very concerning experience. The hygienist initially told me she couldn’t diagnose me but insisted I definitely had cavities. When the dentist came in, I was told I had severe decay requiring a root canal, another cavity needing a filling, and was recommended a $120 medication for five teeth — bringing the total to $1,132. After getting a second opinion at another dentist, I learned I actually needed more cavities filled than originally mentioned, and the root canal was unnecessary. The total at the second office was $280. I’m disappointed with the misdiagnosis and the inflated cost. I would recommend seeking a second opinion before agreeing to treatments here.

Negative experience: This is the worst service I ever had doctors constantly changing. I’ve been waiting over a year just to get an An implant they messed up my clinical notes that messed up my insurance. Trust me, save the headache. And I’m not the person to write a Google review, but this really rubbed me the wrong way I really want To take it up to the Better Business Bureau and further, I am so disappointed it started good and then slowly went downhill and I am a very loyal and everything I do

Negative experience: Truly disappointed in the quality of service I have received. Called and left a message because my next trays for my Invisalign were supposed to be order after my appointment on Sept 5th. No return call from Thursday , called Friday and was told someone would call me back and still nothing. If I could transfer to another dentist to finish off my trays I would at this point. I assume I will be told like when I started this process the Doctor forgot to submit them . That should have been my sign to say nevermind and move on.

I was seen by Kylie first she did an exceptional and thorough job of X-rays and a panoramic view. I was then seen by Dr Goddess to give me great news I have no cavities. Then Angie the hygienist came in next. She examined me as well for any possible solid nodules. None found. The. Proceeded to clean my teeth. I had a few deep pockets that needed deep cleaning. They let me know my cost and I accepted and we proceeded. It was painless and Angie was very gentle and thorough! I am so pleased that I choose Dental Care Quail Hallow as my new dental care facility. I highly recommend them if anyone’s looking for. New dental office in Wesley Chapel. Trish B

Positive experience: Cheryl at Dental Care at Quail Hollow is the absolute best hygienist! She gentle yet thorough. A visit with her leaves my teeth feeling clean, but doesn't leave my mouth hurting. Yesterday would have been the best if the staff had remembered to remove the plug-in air fresheners for me. They usually do to prevent triggering my allergies. Other than that, it was great as usual. I highly recommend and Dr. George is the best!

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed in how this office handles billing. I have called multiple times in an attempt to correct a billing issue. I have left multiple messages with no return call. They keep sending statements, but have yet to call me and try to correct the issue.

Positive experience: I enjoyed my first appointment and the subsequent dental cleaning, however, I was disappointed by the time spent in the office. I was there for 2.5 hours. After being there for two hours, I asked the staff to speed up the process, as I needed to return to work. At that moment everything including cleaning was done and ready for the doctor to check. They acknowledged my request and made an effort to get the doctor to see me more quickly. I would appreciate being informed in advance that the initial appointment could take up to an hour, and with the cleaning it would take even longer. This way, I could decide whether I have enough time for both or if I would prefer to schedule the cleaning for a different appointment. Aside from that, everything else was good. They called me just 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, which is acceptable. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff from front office to hygienist to dentist and ladies behind the scene. Thorough first appointment I appreciated how a cleaning could be accommodated during establishing a patient appointment not all do that. I did have to wait about 1520 minutes from the time. The cleaning was done until the dentist arrived for final check and x-ray look over a bit longer than I’m used to.

Negative experience: While everyone there was kind, my problem lies in their integrity of practice. It’s not exclusive to them but runs rampant in many dental offices. They told me that they checked and said extra service was covered by my insurance only to receive a bill for it a month later because it is most definitely not covered. I have been trying to find an honest dental office since I moved here and unfortunately this is not one. I would rather they explain the benefit and why it’s needed/recommended and let me make the decision when I’m ready rather than lying to get me to get a service and bill me later. I run a Drs office and it’s sad when offices function this way. I will know to verify any coverage myself before approving any extra services and not take their word for it.

Negative experience: I had an 8:00 appointment. I was on time... but I didn't appreciate being seen until after 8:15. My time is just as valuable as the people working there. The person cleaning my teeth said traffic was terrible -- so, it was terrible for me also, but I made it to my appointment on time. I had other appointments that day and that set my day back.

Fantastic experience: The staff are always very warm and welcoming to their clients! The place is kept tidy and organized. Dr. George is phenomenal. All of their hygienists are excellent at what they do. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a dental clinic around the area!

Negative experience: The customer service is fine here. No issues with the services I received. Just changed my insurance to delta dental (not by choice) and apparently cleaning and X-rays are going to cost me over $200 with insurance! I called a closer dentist to my house and got a quote and with my insurance it will cost me only $50 total! I don’t understand why I am getting charged so much here. I am leaving because I feel like they overcharge for their services.

My wife has dementia and has a hard time getting words out and is also hard of hearing. The dentist is kind and not willing to do extensive work that my last practice wanted to do that I felt was unnecessary. I avoided going to dentist for two years because I did not want over pay over $3000 in crowns on teeth that were not bothering me. I think I finally found I practice I can trust. Negative experience: My appointment was for a regular cleaning. During the appointment the hygienist did an ultra light check in my mouth. She advised she was checking for any bumps. It was NOT explained to me that this was not part of cleaning appointment. When I called to question the charge, the front office explained to me that my insurance did not cover it and it is in addition to the cleaning. She also explained that there was a free process to check for cancer vs. the ultra light. I had no idea that her checking for bumps meant checking for cancer. Neither of these were explained to me during my visit. My normal hygienist has never done the ultra light process on me, this time I had to see a different hygienist due to scheduling conflicts.

Negative experience: They will try to force unnecessary procedures to bump up thier income. They told me if they don't do a deep clean They could lose thier license. So basically they lied and also claim that a deep cleaning was required or they won't see me again. I miss the honest dentist it's now just a money scam. Most insurance won't cover a deep clean they cost $300 per quadrant and you have to pay. My last dentist before he retired said it was unnecessary just need a standard cleaning. 47yrs and no cavities for me. Deep cleaning can have negative consequences as well. But as long as your paying that fat cash they don't care. So in closing chose someplace that has your best interest in mind, not how much they can scam you. Ps please don't lie to your patients!

Negative experience: DONT GET YOUR WISDOM TEETH TAKEN OUT HERE. They prescribed weak medicine that did not equal the level of pain I’d receive from wisdom teeth extraction. They gave me no reason to taking money to remove all wisdom teeth and only removed 2. They won’t give me my money for 4-6 weeks nor will they provide a doctors note that I was there nor refill any prescriptions.

Positive experience: Dr. George explained my options for treatment throughly and was able to do the work the same day. Update: got the permanent bridge on, not good. Since it is the front teeth I thought the lab would have done a better job. The teeth don't line up and they stick out like buck teeth. The bridge didn't even go all the way to the gum line. Have another appointment this week, hopefully they can redo it without charging me more money!

Negative experience: I thought on my first few visits I had found my dentist office. Later only to be more dissatisfied than ever before. They do not call the insurance company to confirm if procedures are covered beforehand, so when it's not, you are responsible. Secondly, after several visits, you still do not see the actual dentist except on the first visit. Thirdly, the procedure I had and not covered by insurance so the dentist office said but, the insurance company said they requested information that was never received, I made payments to clear the debt. I was tired of going back and forth, back and forth. I had made 4 monthly payments just for them to turn me into a debt collection agency, lowering my credit score from 825 to 756! This after speaking to them prior about a letter I received from the collection agency and they said they'd call to cancel the collection. A month later, it hadn't been done resulting in the the lower credit rating. You work so hard to get a perfect credit score just to have someone take your money but still turn you into collections after poor customer service to begin with! Would never recommend this office to my worst enemy. The staff is nice but overshadowed by the lack of customer service and integrity to clients.

Positive experience: The initial visit was 2 hours. I was never told that and had another appointment that I missed. I came for just a cleaning, and left with a $300 bill (with no cleaning) and suggestions for more dental work for another $800. I feel that is WAY too “pushy” for the first visit. My hygienist was thorough and did a great job. Dr. Koruo is also wonderful. I have never liked getting dental work done but she made the process really smooth and painless. Negative experience: Me and my mom visited Quail Hollow dental. Both for evaluation and xrays. They said i had perdontal diease, needed 4 fillings and needed a crown I was quoted $3,800 for everything. I went and got a 2nd opinion. That dentist Said I did NOT! have peradontal disease nor did I need a crown and I had 3 cavities not 4. I was quoted $891 for everything!!! Matter fact: myself and 3 other family members were done for less than i was quoted! They are shady!! Try somewhere else!!!

I chose to go here because of the great reviews. We just moved to the area so I needed to establish with a new dentist. I had been with my previous dentist over 20 years, so this was very new to me. They did more X-rays and evaluations than I had ever experienced at a dentist or orthodontist. I was thankful they discovered some gum issue that I needed to address, but I was not prepared to consider braces my first time through the door. Bottom line- they are kind, professional and extremely thorough.

Fantastic experience: Dr George was excellent. I've gone to many different dentists in my lifetime but he has the latest and best equipment very nice and great work. And prices are so reasonable. Highly recomment

Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience with this practice!! Please do not waste your time. I recently moved to the area and scheduled a new patient appt a couple of months ago. I was told by the scheduler that they will document my need for a prophylactic antibiotic due to my medical need to prevent infections during any type of dental work. She specifically said there’s no issue with the dentist prescribing this for a cleaning. Fast forward to 2 weeks before the appt, I receive a call from the hygienist to confirm my appt and to get my pharmacy info for the antibiotic to be sent to. One week before the appt, I didn’t receive any indication that my rx was ready at my local pharmacy, so I called the office to confirm this will still be done. I was told that they cannot send the rx because I need to go to my Dr. that wants me on the antibiotic to get the prescription instead (cardiologist). I was told by front desk at Quail Hollow that I need to be seen by the dentist before they can prescribe anything! So they’re basically telling me I need to be seen before a cleaning so that they can prescribe the medication for the cleaning!! Makes absolutely NO SENSE! Mind you, my cardiologist has never prescribed my antibiotic and has always come from the dentist! Why on earth would my cardiologist prescribe an antibiotic for me to use for my dental procedure?! The office manager, Bernadette, was absolutely no help to resolve the situation and didn’t even call me back to see what needs to be done and if the office can accommodate my situation given they are the ones who told me it would be no issue! No one has called me back so I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Unprofessional and extremely incompetent people working at the office. I’m a healthcare professional and have never experienced such blatant lack of care or empathy. Please, take the time to go elsewhere as I’m writing this in 2024!
