Fantastic experience: I highly recommend, the Dentist and staff are very kind and professional. The office is immaculate, and there is TV screens mounted on the ceiling above your chair and walls directly in front of you as well, this provides an excellent distraction, kept my mind off of the procedure. I am a person with high anxiety levels and I can honestly say, I felt no pain and the whole experience was pleasant and comfortable. Excellent dental skills from the doc. Negative experience: My daughter doesn't like going here because Dr. Elmore is dismissive of why she's scared of needles. He acts like it shouldn't be a big deal and it shouldn't bother her. We are most likely going to be seeking a different dentist after this. Not to mention the other issues we have had here. Update: Today I was contacted by Bonnie from Dr. Elmore's office to obtain more information about our issue. She at first gathered information but then lied to me about what I said our experiences were and how they do things.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going to Dental care of Saint Joseph. I will admit that I am a 55 year old patient that is highly afraid of the dentist, but from the first time you walk in you are treated nicely and even though I had paperwork to fill out I didn't wait long at all. I definitely will be going back.

Negative experience: My first appointment with dental care of Saint Joseph was nthey took very good care of me. Then they call me for a check up and make the appointment for me. When I was 6 minutes late, the front desk had very poor customer service and told me that I was canceled after 6 minutes. I'm sorry I didn't realize that they held my chair money.I usually pay cash on the spot but they lost my business.I don't like being talked to that way

Fantastic experience: Every time I go to the office, first off I always notice how good it smells and how clean it is. And more importantly the staff is always so very nice and comforting if you may be the nervous type. Then there's Dr. Elmore who is also polite and very knowledgeable. I love the new technology that is used in the office. It's really an amazing experience to go to their office. Highly recommend it.

Knowing I'm dental phobic, the staff and Dr. Elmore always do their best to relieve my anxiety and make me comfortable, which they do. I've never left unsatisfied and their dental work is excellent and costs are reasonable. He'll always be my dentist.

Negative experience: I made an appointment to see a dentist for June 16th at 9:10 am and they confirmed back in text they would be happy to see me. As a new patient they sent me a form for all the paperwork to fill out and sign before I come in which I did. My appointment was still 10 days away. Then I received a text, they got my paperwork and confirmed my 9:10 am appointment. Next they sent me a text my appointment for 9:00am. I got there about 9:02 per my phone since I had to park and walk through their door. They tell me they changed my time to 9am because being a new patient i need to fill out paperwork and now I have to reschedule for another day in July. She said they changed my appointment for 9am to fill out paperwork. I told them I sent my paperwork over the phone. She looks in a stack of papers and guess what ?! My paperwork was there. Next she said because I was late I still had to reschedule. I told her my original appointment was for 9:10 and I’m early. She said let me check with a nurse, came back and said they’re unable to fit me in. Finally a nurse tells me they had a cancellation and they could get me in around 10am if I could wait. I was already upset for all the back and forth , I said just forget it. Watching the receptionist, she looked like I was such a bother dealing with me and didn’t want to help me at all. Apparently new patients are not well received and I felt let down and embarrassed with the other people behind me that were there in the lobby. I told them to forget it. They rescheduled me for July 1st, but I am canceling it. I will never refer people to Dental Care of St Joseph.

Fantastic experience: Super nice Dentist as well as staff! I haven’t met a part of the staff I dislike. Very personable and the front office ladies are knowledgeable w the dental plans and letting you know there are a couple payment options. UPDATE: 12/24 I had my dental plan that the office printed out for me, unfortunately for me I am on a Government Insurance Plan (Medicare Advantage) and these plans only cover so much in a years time. With that being said the office staff helped me decide what I should do by the end of the year. The insurance would only cover a small part of what I needed done to have a healthy and great smile, so I just went with what insurance would cover. I was thankful that I was at least getting that part done but would leave me with not a great smile I was super upset because my smile is important to me. But I had to suck it up and try to find a way to complete my dental plan, which means paying out of pocket which could be expensive and I am on a fixed income, I didn’t know what I was going to do. I worried about what I was gonna look like to others when I smiled. Needless to say I went in for my last appt so I thought BUT………as Hallie (my girl) showed me to my chair she sat me down and proceeded to give me another copy of my dental plan, I was thinking I don’t want to see this mess again (because I knew I couldn’t afford it) then she proceeds to hand me the big Manila envelope so I begin to open it and low and behold there was a certificate in there that said…….CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR A FREE COMPLETED TREATMENT PLAN!!!!! y’all I started crying, tears of complete joy!!!! Are u freaking kiddin me? I was so overjoyed I sat there in tears and I turn around and the ladies of the staff had tears too. This meant so much to me and still does I couldn’t thank all of them enough. That touched my heart ❤️. This Amazing thoughtful considerate Dentist and his perfect staff gave me a gift I will never forget!!! I believe in “if you treat others as you would want to be treated, good things can come”. I am TRULY BLESSED. if you are on the fence about going to this dentist, this should be a easy decision after reading my review. Give ‘em a call you won’t regret it. A great dentist a great staff = One happy client! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Elmore and his staff at Dental Care of St. Joseph are outstanding with my toddler! My son had his second appointment two days ago and has made progress from six months ago. Alisha (sorry if I didn’t spell it correctly) was exceptionally patient and took the time to show my son each instrument and how each instrument worked. She informed me that he had made great progress and to continue to bring him to his six month appointments so each time he gets comfortable. I’m proud to be a patient at Dental Care of St. Joseph as well as my kiddos. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Elmore and his staff!!!!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this dentist office for any work you need to get done. All of their staff members have always been nothing but kind to me with each of my visits from reception to the hygienist to the dentist himself. I have suffered from mental health illness for my entire life and eventually after a lifetime of mental health meds (along with other factors) my teeth just started to crumble. I had put it off for as long as I could because I didn’t have the money to deal with it for many years so when I finally was able to go see someone about it they were pretty bad, but no one in the office at any point made me feel bad in any way about it. They have all been so kind every visit I’ve had which is not what I expected, I have a lot of anxiety especially with dentists and in my past I’ve had a lot of different ones who have not been the nicest. They have worked to make everything affordable and now for the first time in over ten years I am able to smile again. It has been life changing.

Fantastic experience: Changed dental office during 2024. Went thru several reviews and the office of " Dental Care of St. Joseph " had numerous 5 star reviews. My first visit seeing new technology everywhere in the office was very impressive. Employees were wonderful working with dental patients and very skilled.

Negative experience: The waiting room was awful. People on the TV yelling at each other, and music playing at the same time. NOT a peacefully environment. Dentist not there to discuss my needs.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Elmore is wonderful. He's warm, funny, gentle and always takes extra time to answer all questions. Alicia, my hygienist, tells me what she is doing and why. She also showed me pictures of her doggies and laughed at my dad jokes. I've been going for a few years and the office is always clean and the staff positive.
