Fantastic experience: Amy is always friendly and thorough in cleaning my teeth. The Dr. explains things clearly and always asks if I have any questions. We have been here for years and are very satisfied with the staff!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a broken tooth will not have it extracted wanted to get a pop on veneer. They were unable to assist with that. They are currently submitting my paperwork as a medical necessity due to periodontal disease for implant purposes.

Negative experience: I feel like it was a waste of my time and money just to have to go somewhere else. My back tooth had me in a lot of pain they gave me a bag with 3 small bags of Advil and if anyone had had tooth pain knows That’s not going do anything for a toothache. Will not be going back.

Positive experience: Dental Group of Rockford always has a friendly atmosphere. The hygienist was nice but the doctor was just trying to get me to spend money on something he said I had gotten and needed again when I had never had anything done. Ad he was trying to sell me a product it almost felt like I was in an add.

The skill and service of the dental hygenist, Angel, and the gentle expertise of Gracie, the dental assistant, are excellent. I've had a whole gambit of work done with happy results. The office girls are super effiecient. They can tell you in minutes what your insurance will pay. And the Dr. is thorough without pushing extras you dont want. Fantastic experience: Prior to making an appointment here at the Dental Group of Rockford, I had not been to the dentist in about 2 years. Making an appointment was seamless. The office staff were great and easy to work with. They are on top of it with verifying insurance information and making sure you are good to go before your appointment. The waiting area is very welcoming, and professional. There are many seats available and the office has a nice modern vibe. Because the office staff is organized, I did not have to wait long. The dental hygienist I was assigned to, Skylar, was warm, skilled and efficient. Taking the pictures and the cleaning itself can be uncomfortable and sometimes painful, but Skylar completed everything super well. My teeth are in way better shape. This was the best dental experience I have had!

Negative experience: Today received an explanation of benefits for dental work I had done April of 2024. Stating that services cannot be paid as they have exceeded the timely filing date. Unless your wealthy and money isn’t an issue Do NOT go there, if they did their job and quit running their mouths my bill could have been paid. Hygienist did not wash her hands or put on clean gloves when she looked in my mouth that’s another reason I won’t ever go there. Dentist in a hurry to treat another patient. She must have had money.

Fantastic experience: I came in as a new patient after having minor work done at a different office that I wasn’t happy with. This office was willing to wait over an hour for X-rays I had taken at the previous place, which they did not have to do!!! Their kindness and patience is so rare to come by. My hygienist here was also super gentle with my cleaning and I didn’t feel any pain at all, she was super thorough to the point where she even went back in with her tool to clean up a spot on my tooth she noticed after the cleaning was completed and I took some extra imaging. The dentist I saw, dr Williams listened to my concerns about my bite and did some extra imaging, explained his concerns while showing me my actual scan so I could understand what he was talking about. They also provided me a cost break down for Invisalign to fix my bite, and referred me to an orthodontist for the option of braces! I love that they gave me a choice with as much information as possible. I also have other health conditions and they were so diligent to make sure they communicate with my other doctor. I loved visiting here and I’m really happy with the care I got!! Thank you to the entire team for being such good dental care providers.

Fantastic experience: I started coming here in December 2024. Dr. Williams is my new favorite dentist. Never have I felt more comfortable going to a dentist. Right from the start he made me feel relaxed. He answered any concerns I had and didn't make me feel rushed. All the staff are so friendly.

The hygienist treated me well, even though I had concerns and the dentist was great to me as well, even better than the hygienist! I have had jaw pain recently, so it was important that I'm able to communicate with my dentist and their team.

Negative experience: Awful service. Can’t stay on schedule and makes no effort to correct their own scheduling errors.

Fantastic experience: Had a dental emergency when traveling the area. They were able to move my appointment up for my emergency situation. Dr. Lee and Dr. Williams were very gentle. The extraction was quick and no pain. The place is also very clean, and the price is very reasonable. I wish I had a dentistry like this close my home in California.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this place for a few years. All staff receptionists, hygienists and my dentist Dr. Lee have been good. Amy has been my hygienist for years and she is really thorough and does a great job on x-rays and frequent professional cleanings. I appreciate all the time and care that everyone has given me.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to Dental Group for about 1.5 years! Not anymore! I had a deep cleaning and didn’t remove the stains on my lower inside of teeth. Why? Lazy because she was in taking care of her family on her day off! I was her only paying customer that day! The next day I saw Dr Williams about my cleaning results. I gave him a solution to this issue. If I was given a mirror to see the results; which I have experienced in all of my past deep cleaning! What bothered me the most is his attitude. It was like no big deal! To make 1300$ in an hour for deep cleaning. I got ripped off!

Fantastic experience: Dental Group of Rockford is absolutely AMAZING!! I went to another dentist and I was told I needed a root canal. I ended up at Dental Group of Rockford and they set up an appointment the following day for a root canal assessment. The next day I arrived and they informed me that they had time to do the surgery Everyone was so professional and my doctor was so caring. I am keeping them as my dentist and if you are looking for dental care, I hope you check them out. I only wish I could give them more stars ⭐️ than the 5 max. They deserve it

Negative experience: Another place that wants you to pull teeth that don't need it and do implants. No thanks. Experience was not that great. No matter how many times you repeat yourself it doesn't get relayed or understood right anyway. Was told I needed way way wayyyy more work than the literal 7 places I have been to prior. Huge red flag.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with DGR, my hygienist Amy was professional, honest, friendly, and transparent about my issues and choices to fix them. Dr Williams was also all of those things and to the point regarding what needs to be done, gave me choices, and even offered to start that day due to a cancellation. I never felt uncomfortable or like I was being sold something. I truly appreciate their approach, and how I was treated by all of the staff I interacted with. I am not a fan of going to any dentist, but DGR made my experience as pleasant as it could be, and would highly recommend them. Thank you!

Negative experience: Been dealing with this group to get dentures for quite some time. First visit the Dr. had grabbed a portion of my tongue as he was removing my teeth, which of course caused me to jump from my chair as he would NOT STOP trying to remove the tooth. The ENTIRE process was extremely painfully & I picked up my permanent dentures, which I now have to go back for further fitting! Will NOT EVER step through their door again once this is resolved to my satisfaction.

Fantastic experience: Wait time was very little, the lady cleaning my teeth was very nice and made sure you were comfortable and did a thorough cleaning.

Negative experience: Rarely ever leave 1 stars. But don’t book people if you’re not able to take care of them.

Positive experience: Had an emergency appointment with Dr. Lee and ended up getting a crown prep and temp crown procedure by Dr. Williams. I really like this place. The support staff is amazing and the doctors are all about getting the patients what they need to not be in pain. I look forward to my future appointments. I appreciate all of you.

Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews but I felt I had to after my visit with Dr. Lee. I’ve have had a severe phobia about dental visits since early childhood, due to some very bad experiences. With support from family, I finally worked up the courage to address some major dental issues I’ve put off for years. I choose a new dentist (Dr. Lee at Dental Group of Rockford) based on research and reviews. As the day of my visit approached I was extremely apprehensive, knowing I needed extensive work done and only having had bad experiences with other dentists to relate to. I was amazed with the level of understanding and positivity from everyone I came into contact with. From the hygienist, to the dental assistant, the reception and finance people and finally Dr. Lee himself, I was made to feel comfortable and in caring hands. Procedures were thoroughly explained without rushing and care was taken at every step to ensure my extensive work was done with very minimal (virtually none) pain or discomfort. Dr. Lee even paused several times during my procedures to check that I was ‘doing ok’ and comfortable. After years of avoidance, based on fears, my initial procedures and the surprisingly good visual results literally brought both myself and my wife to tears … I can smile again without feeling self-conscious! My visits with Dr.Lee and Dental Group of Rockford have positively changed my outlook toward seeking future dental care. I can’t thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate for a minute recommending them to anyone.

Positive experience: The staff was amazing fem the from the front desk to the nurse tiffany ( i think ) to treating Dentist Dr.Lee . My only compliant would be that I felt like I was at a car dealership. Some of the suggestions felt more cosmetic than medically necessary and I didn't like the pressure of that but overall it was a pleasant experience

Fantastic experience: Update - I went in for my procedure a full mouth extraction and dentures and I was scare of the pain however the assistant made me so comfortable and was so kind to me my nerves went away. Then Dr. Williama came in to see how I was holding up and said we arent in a rush we want you comfortable and not in pain!! The nitrous kicked and he literally walked me through each shot and explained everything to me! Once the first round of shots were done and he found something wasnt numb enough he made sure I was numb! Once he began the extraction he made sure he told me what he was doing and kept asking if I could feel anything and always made sure to check on me! Once the procedure was done and I was so overwhelmed and began to cry he kneeled down next to with genuine concern and asked what was wrong! I will NEVER go to another dentist so long as I am able to go to Dr. Williams and Dental Group of Rockford!! Everyone there is kind & compassionate! THANK YOU ALL for making this experience simple and for making me comfortable!! Dr. Williams is the BEST dentist and very affordable! I will recommend him and his staff to everyone I know! THANK YOU ALL AT DENTAL GROUP OF ROCKFORD FOR BEING THE MOST COMPASSIONATE, CARING AND AND KIND GROUP OF PEOPLE!!! Dr. Williams is truly a God send because I'm terrified and he has made me comfortable and eased my nerves!! I would recommend him and his staff!!

Positive experience: Excellent comprehensive exam, knowledgeable hygienist that was amazing and kind, office was 30 mins late getting me in to my appointment, they also couldn't provide the name of my hygienist and I couldn’t give her all her praise.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed and grateful to all of the super friendly and helpful staff!! I had been having excruciating pain and my current dentist was unable to pinpoint the problem and doesn’t do extensive work like root canals etc. After calling a dozen places I called the Dental Group of Rockford and they were able to get me in the same day and diagnose where the pain was coming from. They explained everything very well and they even scheduled me within a few days for my root canal. I highly recommend coming here for all your dental needs! Thank you Dental Group of Rockford!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a cracked wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled. The staff and Dr. Lee were wonderful. I didn't feel anything and the removal was very quick. He will definitely be my new dentist.

Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience with this provider. Their work left me in pain more than 18 months. The work was more extensive than I expected, and beyond what my insurance would cover, contrary to my financial understanding. The "informed consent" they captured to perform that work was after the procedure was already started. Thus, I was in the chair and anesthetized, when the financial person came in demanding that I read and sign a consent form in order to continue the procedure. Despite my understanding that the procedure would be covered by insurance, they filed a collection action for the amount that was not covered. I would never go here again, do not trust them, and would caution anyone from using them for any sort of dental need.

Fantastic experience: After an embarrassingly long time of going without dental care due to pretty extreme anxiety, I finally decided to start the process of getting back on track. Every person there, from the receptionist to the hygienist, to the dentist have all been amazing. Very patient with my anxiety and have done a great job. I have no doubt I will keep up with my visits now that they have put my mind at ease.

Fantastic experience: Appointments easily obtained and they are very flexible to emergent needs. They are also good at accommodating payment plans if needed. And the dentists there are very nice and understanding. Treatment plans are given and I felt involved in my own treatment plan decisions.
