Negative experience: Front desk never acknowledges you when you come in. They are rude and unprofessional & if you say excuse me, I need to sign in, they act like they’re doing you a favor. Don’t inform you ahead of time it’s an over an hour delay, they make you drive all the way here to ask you if you want to keep your appointment or reschedule. I do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Been coming here for YEARS since I was a teenager getting braces. Recently went in for a dental checkup because one of my teeth was hurting. I thought it was the same dental office I had been going to for years. I was wrong. There’s only one dentist doctor and he was so rude and condescending. Not only to me but to the dental staff. It was unfortunate to see. Won’t be going back there ever again.

Negative experience: I wouldn't visit this place if I was you they screwed my mouth up so bad i got to find another dentist very unprofessional and a bunch lazy off the street workers seems like with no real experience place needs to be investigated hope it closes down that's why it says independent contractor written everywhere in there I'm reaching out to higher ups to put end to this place.

Negative experience: First Visit - I had a terrible experience with Dr. Aqel. I went in for tooth pain, a cavity fill, and a deep cleaning. I specifically told him where the pain was, but he suggested avoiding sweets, without even reviewing my x-rays or properly examining my tooth. I had a cavity causing pain on the right side, but during the procedure, Dr. Aqel filled my cavities and started cleaning my teeth. When he moved to the left side, he began cleaning it without administering any numbing medication. Which he wasn’t even suppose touch because I was coming in another day for the left side! The pain was excruciating, and instead of apologizing, he said he hadn’t applied enough numbing medication. Second Visit- My second visit was even worse. Dr. Aqel was rough with the numbing medication, causing more pain. After leaving me waiting for 45 minutes, he started working on my cavity on the left side. As soon as he began scraping my tooth, I immediately felt intense pain and asked him to stop. The pain was unbearable! He administered more numbing medication, left the room again, and when he came back, I was in tears. I knew his care was awful, and he never once apologized. I told him I no longer wanted his care, and he continued to argue, refusing to acknowledge how awful and traumatic his care had been. His complete disregard for patient safety, comfort, and emotional well-being was shocking and unacceptable. I walked out without the procedure being completed, something I’ve never experienced with any medical professional. I left feeling emotionally traumatized and scared of ever visiting a dentist again. I would never recommend Dr. Aqel! That said, his staff was amazing—they handled the situation with care, tried to comfort me, and offered support during both visits. I only wish the same standard of professionalism and empathy came from the dentist himself.

Negative experience: ​I visited Brite Dental PC for a routine check-up, but the experience was disappointing. Despite confirming my appointment, I waited over 30 minutes without acknowledgment from the staff, and the dentist walked by multiple times without addressing me. When I finally received attention, the proposed treatment plan seemed excessive, and upon seeking a second opinion, I was informed that some suggested procedures were unnecessary. The lack of communication and questionable recommendations have led me to seek dental care elsewhere.​

Negative experience: They never answer the phone. They has been closed for a week not notifying why. I'm scared that they will disappear one day and leave my daughter treatment half way.

Negative experience: What’s the point in putting the business’s phone number when they don’t even answer and end up hanging up the phone?

Negative experience: This place was unprofessional. The staff did not introduce themselves. I was going for a teeth cleaning and the hygienist did not know what she doing and was cutting my gums. She had someone else helping her because she was having a hard time and I spoke up to use the scraper for the plaque and she stated that would take too long to do. Then when brushing my teeth she somehow got it close to my lip and cut me. I left with a blister on my lip and bleeding gums from the numerous times she cut me. Never going back again!! I would rather go elsewhere and pay out of pocket than to go back here.

Negative experience: The front desk staff is the most unprofessional group of professionals I have ever experienced. They give you a reminder call but don’t leave a voicemail if you miss the call. Even once you check in they never tell you the wait time. They will leave you waiting for an hour plus without communicating when you’ll be seen. Please find any other place!

Negative experience: And the reviews aren’t authentic they ask you to rate them the first day and a coworker name Daniel just pushed 5 stars on my phone instead of letting me make that decision for myself.(I had to go back in and change it because of the hard time I received)Everything is always slow and every time I book an appointment I have to wait an additional 30 min to an HOUR I wouldn’t say a black friendly dentist I just need the corporate office number ‍♀️

Negative experience: The only issue I'm facing is that the phone is being answered inconsistently. I've been calling every 10 minutes since they opened at 10 am, but I haven't received any answer and response yet. It's currently 12:54 pm and still within regular business hours. I'm in excruciating pain and need to make an appointment as soon as possible. This situation is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

Negative experience: Horrible staff doesn't know what they're doing. Instead of focusing on the customers they're just chatting the whole time with eachother. Have a doorbell and pay attention to what's going on in your building.

Negative experience: Bad place i have a appointment at 12:00 p m and they only have time for walk in it was almost 1:00 and i wacht the three people gone in and i least of 10 minutes with out appointment on saturday they close at 1:00 BAD PLACE

Negative experience: The doctor did not want to see me and send me out the door with a tooth pain. Told me to go back to my original doctor because he didn’t do my fill in. He sent the whole staff to come talk to me to get me to leave and not I’m left with a toothache. I world not recommend say he don’t want to do his job,

Fantastic experience: Just finished my Orthodontist treatment here & all I have to say is that the assistants here are amazing! So are the doctors. Overall experience here is great. Patricia is very patient with me during the entire process. Would recommend others to this place for any work needed.

Negative experience: Worst service ever would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The dr agel is a joke of a dentist…. 1st and last time seeing him

Negative experience: I waited an hour to get a 45 second "deep clean" with an appointment and got charged when my insurance covers it. It was literally 45 seconds. I walked away confused and should've asked questions. It took me 7 months to leave this review.

Fantastic experience: Great service with an awesome dentist.

Negative experience: The handicapped parking space is at the very back of the lot & there is no railing or ramp to hold on to will walking along this narrow side walk. I use a walker and had a hard time just getting to the door. I will be calling 311 to file a claim and if anyone is ever injured while trying to access any of these spaces please use this in court as proof that complaints were filed! I'm tired of places being not handicapped accessible! Not only can you get sued for millions but someone can really get hurt!

Negative experience: The receptionists and assistant were great but Dr. Najjar Ismaeil was very unprofessional. My wife was a patient, a very nervous patient and he made her feel horrible. Of course she had questions. When he was about to give her a numbing shot in her mouth, she got nervous and asked what was the shot for and he totally dismissed her and said "she's too anxious " and told the assistant to release her and walked out after already putting numbing gel on her gums. We definitely will not be returning to that location.

Fantastic experience: I come here every 6 months for my checkup and Dr. Aqel never disappoints on the value of my dental exams, his assistant Daniela makes sure to do a great job on my cleaning with my braces. This office never disappoints and I am always satisfied.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Fadi Aqel and his assistant Daniela gave me the most comfortable and best appointment. I came in with bad toothache and Dr.Aqel did my root canal and I am leaving satisfied and pain free.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Brite Dental for several years with Dr.Fadi Aqel and he is the most amazing doctor I have experienced with. Assistant Daniela always does a wonderful cleaning and appointment with me. I will recommend this dentist to my friends and family.

Negative experience: Sorely disappointed in this company. I have had nothing but a horrible experience. Started going there due to cracking two teeth in Aug 2020.…I wanted the teeth pulled. They refused said they would order a crown. They drilled it down it almost took them 6 months to a year to get the crown in. Plus they never to this day fixed the second tooth which is extremely sharp. Also went in for a deep cleaning did appointment separately for the both sides of my mouth. First appointment was rough, but ok I guess. The second side of my mouth did not go as well as the dental assistant was flirting & distracting the dentist as he was deep cleaning my mouth. Him being distracted by her caused him to lose his place in my mouth and he started drilling and deep cleaning the side of my mouth that had already been cleaned the prior appointment and was not numbed this visit. Very painful. When I said something the dentist ran out & the dental technician scolded me & had an attitude saying this is just deep cleanings go and I need to get over it. I scolded her back and said she needed to be professional & stop distracting the dentist by flirting with him breaking his concentration from the cleaning. I filed a complaint with management. Nothing was done to resolve the issues of this. The second tooth that was sharp at this point is still not fixed despite going back a few different times. I Developed an issue with the pressures in my eyes because of the tooth that they never fixed. I called again to set appointment to address the issues. I was told they could not see what I was speaking of and could not help me. Despite the scheduling an appointment like everyone else the dentist dismissed me and said she could not fix the issue that day. She told me to reschedule an appointment for August 20,2022 that she would fix the tooth that had the issue then. Friday , August 19,2022. The office called to confirm my appointment on Sat, August 20,2022. I confirmed the appointment. I go throughout my day. It gets to be about 4pm. The office staff calls me and says that the dentist is unable to do anything and will not be keeping the appointment to fix what needs to fix. Also that she will not be rescheduling……..Completed unprofessional. I then escalate the situation to a lady by the name of Veronica R. (since I’m told there are several) who promises to look into things and get back with me. She has been completely lackadaisical in resolving the issue to this day! I was told a million times that I would need to speak to the owner. However the many times I have followed up he’s never in town? I do not recommend that you take anyone you love or care about to 59th & Pulaski or 69th Pulaski. They don’t care about people. They care about money and are incompetent, have a lack of compassion for the human spirits of which they took and oath to take care of. Every person that has handled my case from 2020 should be fired! I am still waiting for a resolution. Beware of these locations! I don’t ever want anyone to go through what I’ve been through.

Negative experience: Staff so unprofessional. I had appointment for 1230pm, I called to inform them I was running late. They informed me they give a 15minute grace period. I got to desk 2 minutes after the 45 so 47 they says staff going on lunch in 10 minutes so you have to reschedule. How was staff going to complete a dental appointment in 10 minutes or 15 minutes anyways from the 1245. So qhat does lunch in 10 minutes have to do with me being 2 minutes after the 45. A waste of gas money going all the way there to be turned around.

Negative experience: During my first visit , they took forever to begin with my treatment then, to deliver my crown and last when I paid. They refused to give me a printed statement of my service. Never again!

Negative experience: Please save yourself time and energy from going here. The staff is unhelpful and unwilling to do their basic job of sending necessary documents to your insurance. You will spend time doing the job yourself in trying to coordinate with your insurance so just save your time and choose another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I came today as a last minute root canal consult, Dr. Ismaeil was very quick and pain free and did an amazing treatment with the help of his Dental assistant Daniela explaining to me the treatment of how this procedure will be. I am now in pain free due to all the long wait of other dental offices compared to here.

Negative experience: Horrible experience, after getting a painful cleaning two weeks earlier I’m back for an appointment this time a removal. Kool , I have a bad tooth ache from this bad tooth. I was told my blood pressure is too high. Ahhh, my head is hurting because of this bad tooth. Then I was given a doctors release paper and I was told they couldn’t see me without being released from my doctor. I have good health but now I need to make an appointment to see a doctor so that a dentist could pull a tooth that’s killing me. Smh , now I’m looking for a dentist who can pull this tooth ASAP. Thanks Bright Dentis for nothing.

Negative experience: I had a cleaning and check up scheduled because my tooth had been bothering me. My tooth was placed on a watch so obviously I get ready for my "cleaning" the lady only brushed my teeth no one even did a full inspection of my teeth to check the numbers. I was initially impressed that this was mostly ran by women but after my experience it's clear you don't care about your patients health. I hope you don't bill my insurance for a full cleaning when all you did was apply tooth paste.

Fantastic experience: My experience here was nothing short of superb! My son had a cracked/infected tooth and was in serious pain. Not only did they diagnose the problem and give him the proper antibiotic to keep his pain controlled till his extraction, they also tended to his needs as far as being scared. He’s only 6 years old. Also, Cecilia was a HUGE help making sure my wife set up the follow for the extraction at our primary dental physician. Thanks Cecilia!! Amd thank you bright dental!!!!

Fantastic experience: Took my kids to get their dental check up for school the doctor and his assistant Cecilia were very nice and caring towards my kids I definitely recommend this place staff is so helpful

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here. I had 4 teeth extracted and i felt no pain, while getting them pulled. Jesus was excellent. It was super fast, in and out. All my questions or concerns were answered and after care instructions were explained great. I was given enough after care items to last till the stitches fell out & i greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much for the excellent service. I will definitly be making all my future appointments here.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here for two surgical extractions and had such a great experience! The Front desk staff, Dr. Ismaeil and his assistants Daniela and a guy (didn't get his name but had to include him)were all amazing! Extractions fast, painless , and Dr. Ismaeil explained everything to me (even during the procedure)! Didn't feel rushed or disregarded like at other dentist. I live an hour away and still planning to make this my new dental home!

Negative experience: Honestly the front desk is super unprofessional! The doctors and staff that do the dental services are absolutely awesome (only reason I keep going back) when they call to remind of appointments they don’t say where they’re from…. And when you are contacting them to request an appointment they put you on hold without telling you anything. Super rude and in my opinion the front desk needs adjustment, otherwise I’ll be forced with no other option but to go back to UIC.

Fantastic experience: I just received my bottom denture and to partial and I am very satisfied! I first met Dr. Ishmael (the head dentist) who told me, with confidence, the procedure and time it would take to restore all my bottom teeth, and put a partial in on top I totally trusted Dr.Ishmael and Abraham his assistant. Both of them, and some other assistants, who helped me by listening and answering my important questions, who usually do as Abraham (who helped me a great deal the whole route!) I would recommend Dr Ishmael for working w anyone needing Dentures or any other dental problems! He made it possible for me to smile again!

Fantastic experience: Aberham. my daughters dentist did a fantastic job. My 6 year old daughter was crying not wanting to do a normal check up. But her dentist Aberham sooth her down with a step by step talk. Good with kids

Negative experience: If I can give this place no stars I would. One of my friends recently went here to get a couple of teeth extracted, and the orthodontist showed my friend the wrong x-rays.The x-rays showed a completely set of new teeth that didn’t have to be extracted. Thank god my friend caught on that something wasn’t right because it would’ve messed up her progress with her braces. She has asked if she can see a new orthodontist and a new assistant because she does not feel safe anymore due to them being careless.

Negative experience: Well after finally getting a braces appointment for my younger brother (2 months scheduled), The front desk receptionist proceeded to tell me that he can not be seen unless his legal guardian/parent is with him. That is completely understandable, except my mother is currently in the hospital and my father works out of town. I had to step up & take care of him due to the circumstances. I tried to explain to her the situation that I do know everything there is to know about my younger brother (private information) but she kept repeating No. No. No. No, you have to be a legal guardian. Im also 21+ years old, but I gues she also didn't take that into consideration. Her tone/ attitude wasn't cute either. We are loyal patients to the brite dental on Marquette & pulaski but I'm sure as hell never coming to this place again. One star experience for me.

Fantastic experience: Went in to get my crown placed today. Never liked going to the dentist but Dr. Najjar and Veronica always make me feel comfortable. They’re very kind and lighthearted and it was overall a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Abraham(dental assistant) and ismael, doctor have been so friendly and welcoming, by far the best experience I’ve had at a dentist both and all of the staff at least who I’ve communicated have been very friendly and very outgoing and had done a wonder job putting in my crown can’t even tell which tooth is fake.
