Fantastic experience: Great work by Dr Ferdkoff! Was visiting and cracked a tooth and they fit me into the schedule same week and had a new crown within 3 hours!

Negative experience: If I could give 1/2 star I would. I initially called to make an appointment for my fiance, and I gave his insurance information and asked if they take UHC. I was told YES, so I proceeded with making the appointment for the following week. They sent me confirmation of the appointment via email. After my fiancehad his appointment, he received a bill for the ENTIRE amount. when I called to ask If they had put his insurance through, they told me yes and had not received payment so i should contact his insurance, which I did, and they told me the dentist he saw was NOT in their network. I then called the dental practice back, told them what UHC said and they needed to contact them. They said they would do that and then reach back out to me. They never did.I never got an email or a phone call.They just sent it to collections. When I tried to call them back to resolve the matter and ask what happened, the manager (a Hispanic woman) told me she could not speak to me because I was not authorized to speak on his behalf. I tried to interrupt her to tell her I was now his WIFE, but she cut me off and said, "I am still speaking" then continued talking and ended with "thank you bye". I heard a click and then said, "hello??" But she had hung up on me. The most disrespectful, dismissive and rude customer service I have ever experienced. I never raised my voice. I wasn't yelling at them. Absolutely nothing but trying to figure out what the result of the insurance issue was. They told me they accepted his insurance.Therefore I made an appointment with them. I would never have made the appointment with this dental practice had I not been told his insurance was accepted there. They performed the service without running it through first and then billed him the full amount. They are the ones that made the mistake by telling me he was covered, but we were more than willing to pay anyway, but we never got that far because they sent it to collections. This was completely unnecessary, as was the treatment that I received over the phone when I tried to clear up all misunderstandings.

He explains procedures clearly, listens to all concerns, and ensures a comfortable, stress-free experience. Dr. Grechko is also very positive, making it genuinely pleasant to work with him. I highly recommend Dr. Grechko to anyone who wants expert dental care with a personal touch. I would also like to give a special mention to his assistant, Svitlana - she is incredibly attentive, friendly, and always makes patients feel welcome and at ease. It was a truly pleasant experience, and I hope others will feel just as comfortable and confident during their visits to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had my implant placed in Europe, and after a few months of healing I needed the abutment and crown placed. Since I wasn’t able to go back to Europe, I started looking for a dentist in Chicago who could finish the procedure. At first, it seemed more complicated than I expected. Many dentists I contacted mentioned that it required ordering special tools for my implant, which not only delayed the process but also drove the price up significantly. Thankfully, someone recommended Plainfield Dental and Dr. Vlad Ferdkoff. To my surprise, his team quickly organized everything, including obtaining the necessary tools specific to my implant, and the cost was very reasonable compared to others. Dr. Ferdkoff is absolutely the best—fast, professional, and gentle. The procedure was painless, and he made sure I was completely satisfied with the final result. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend him and his team!

Fantastic experience: After not having been to the dentist in years, I’m so glad we found this place! Everyone was so nice and helpful from the very first phone call! Stacie, my hygienist for my visit, was fantastic! She did an amazing job from start to finish and was extremely knowledgeable about everything as well! Dr. Grechko was also very nice and went over everything in depth but made it all so easy to understand. We will for sure be back in 6 months!

Negative experience: While I have no complaints about the dental staff, the front end has to fix their communication skills regarding payments, what is covered with insurance when they run it for procedures, and letting the patient know these things before the procedure is done. Make sure you ask what payments will be beforehand but also be prepared to have to pay more, even after they say your balance is paid. Be proactive in the dental procedures because they will not call you to tell you things changed with insurance coverages.

I have met many dentists through this office, and though I don't remember their names....I keep coming back because of Stacie. She's a keeper!!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting this office and had a first class experience. Monika went out of her way to ensure that my insurance would cover my visit and was extremely accommodating getting me an appointment prior to some upcoming travel. Once there, Kim provided the most thorough cleaning I've ever received at a dental visit. I was very satisfied with how my teeth looked after she was done, she is good at what she does. Dr. Grechko was informative and took the time to explain a couple different things I have going on and prioritized options I have going forward. All in all, a great visit and I will most definitely be back in the future.

Negative experience: My elderly father was brought here to get a tooth extracted. Picked him up after 2 hours and the tooth root was not only left in his mouth, I was given NO referral for him and they gave him pain meds that he could not take due to other conditions. I communicated this to them this in the waiting area. He was in excruciating pain asking me to take him to the ER, which said they couldn’t help him. Called them for 3 hours after I left to get a referral and then the office manager laughed at me and was beyond rude when I tried to speak to the dentist about what happened to my dad since he couldn’t talk from the pain he was in. Then I was told they would pay for the tooth extraction from the oral surgeon I found my dad and never did, kept making excuses and saying different things to my mom. Also, they never billed out any service after my dad was there 2 hours and when I requested the clinical notes, they were NOT accurate at all, saying they called me and I never answered. My father was in pain for 24 hours, they did not complete the service and then didn’t bother to care if he had zero meds he could take. Didn’t get a thorough health history to know he has MDS + Anemia and cannot take Ibuprofen. Maybe don’t see elderly patients? Run from this place.

Fantastic experience: Stacie is the best hygienist I have ever had. She makes getting you teeth cleaned a pleasure! Update 11/16/21: I recently moved to another state and had to have my teeth cleaned somewhere new. I am not happy with the service or the level of comfort. Looks like I may have to come back to IL for my cleanings because Stacie is hands down the best hygienist I have ever gone to. I miss her and so do my teeth! 10/23/24: Had my cleaning today with Stacie. She takes such care and pride in what she does. It makes going to the dentist so much nicer. 5/8/25: Stacie takes the best care of me and my teeth. She’s amazing!

Fantastic experience: As always, Stacy did an amazing job with my cleaning today. She is very patient and very thorough each and every time. I use to avoid dental offices until I found her. She gets the job done with no pain as I have experienced in the past with others. Dr Gretchko was a pleasant surprise today. I felt like he took his time and gave me a true exam where as in the past I felt other dentists barely looked and did not ask about any concerns. Great experience all around!
