Fantastic experience: We came to Dr. Delisle when our dentist of over 40 years retired. The staff is always pleasant, efficient, and kind. The hygienists are great at their jobs. Dr. Delisle is personable, knowledgeable, and does great work. I have had issues with teeth and crowns breaking and they have always tried to get me in as soon as possible. We highly recommend Settlers Walk Dental Care!

Negative experience: If I could give them no stars, I would. I was involved in a car accident over a year ago that required dental work. Since last November, my lawyers have been requesting paperwork via fax and following up with repeated phone calls. Not one phone call has been returned and no medical records submitted as requested and authorized by me. I called today, took me over 20 mins to get a person on the phone, who told me I would receive a call back from the office manager and SHOCKER, no phone call. Apparently since I have paid for all of my work in full, there is no need to help me further. And since they won't return my call, maybe they'll respond to a review. UPDATE: So there is No confusion for anyone reading reviews before making a decision about going here for dental care, I AM A PATIENT.

They were able to get my into an oral surgeon quickly when I needed a tooth pulled, and it was too deep to do in their office.They explain to you what they are doing, each step of the way. Negative experience: I wasn’t going to leave a review, but this clinic kept sending requests. During my first visit, I walked into an empty lobby. No front desk staff. Another patient told me he’d already been waiting 15 minutes. We both waited another 10 before anyone appeared. Once checked in, I was told to refill forms I’d already completed online. Annoying, but manageable. What wasn’t manageable was the dental hygienist. I’ll refrain from using her name, but she spoke to me in a child-like, condescending tone. She called me back, but when the front desk stopped me to sign another form, she disappeared. When she finally reappeared, she acted irritated that I hadn’t followed her, even though she was nowhere to be found. Then, as I followed, she abruptly said, “Woah, not so fast. You need to wait here.” I wasn’t sure if I was at a dental office or in kindergarten. Once in the chair, she made a point to emphasize her long tenure, perhaps explaining her comfort in saying whatever she pleased without concern for professionalism. When she asked where I worked, I mentioned WPAFB. That’s when I was treated to her unsolicited political opinions, praise for DOGE, and disparaging remarks about federal employees, while I, a federal employee and military combat veteran, was forced to listen. I never discuss politics at work or socially. Yet here I was, trapped beneath a dental light while she accused “lazy federal employees” of not wanting to return to the office after the Return-to-Work order. It was an ignorant and misplaced rant. I’ve spent most of my career working night shifts supporting 24/7 combat operations. No telework, no “luxury 8-4 schedule" like Ms. ____. But apparently, she assumed I did. She then complained about “risking her life” by coming to work during COVID. As a veteran with PTSD from combat deployments, that struck a nerve. Many of us worked through COVID without needing to disparage others. I worked with a newborn at home. If she dislikes her job, she’s free to find another; venting to patients is unprofessional. She also mocked the quality of military dental care, which I found ironic since this clinic, my first civilian one, delivered the worst care I’ve ever had. I barely saw the dentist. When I came back to get a cavity filled, I was surprised to learn he only numbs and drills. The hygienist does the rest. Afterward, I experienced lingering pain that required multiple follow-ups, all handled by a hygienist. I never saw the dentist again, and the problem remains unresolved. To make matters worse, during my initial visit, the same hygienist left me with painful cuts/sores from the x-rays she administered. The abrasions lasted two weeks and made eating difficult, something I never experienced in the military. After subpar treatment and unprofessional behavior, I’ve decided to transfer my care elsewhere. This clinic was the first to create problems it couldn’t fix. In short: unprofessional staff, poor patient experience, and questionable clinical practices. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this clinic.

I was most impressed with the digital dental technology that is included at every visit as part of each patient’s care. I would highly recommend this dental practice to everyone. Fantastic experience: I avoided going to the dentist for the last 10 years, so I was very apprehensive about going in for a preliminary appointment. Settlers Walk Dental Care was an awesome experience from the minute I walked in the door. Not only was the office clean and beautiful, but I was also greeted with a smile right away. My initial appointment was canceled because I changed my phone number (my own fault), and they literally got me in the very next day. That wasn’t even the best part! The dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth (Amanda) was outstanding! She explained everything as she did it, gave me options, and took almost 2 hours cleaning my neglected teeth. By the end of my appointment, I was already very excited to come back lol I will also be getting Invisilign which the girls in the office helped me set up. I owe them all a huge thank you!!

Fantastic experience: They are friendly, dedicated and easy to work with. They are flexible and considerate. I had a damaged tooth that needed a root canal, not only were they able to acommodate my time, they even let my husbamd and i switch appt. So i could get in sooner.

Fantastic experience: My teeth hadn't been cleaned in about 2 years, so lots of tartar! Sherry did a great job cleaning my teeth, and she was very gentle, especially with the sensitive teeth I was supposed to have pulled after the last time I was in! Now armed with an updated referral, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get them pulled before I have my next cleaning! Love the new office space - they now have a lot more room, so they've been able to add more dental hygentists! Yeah!!

Negative experience: Probably one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. I went exactly once, and will not be back!! The service and quality of care is so bad, I'm leaving in the middle of a treatment plan. Fighting with insurance claims would be better than trying to fight for basic standards of care, and competent staff at this practice. Please go elsewhere! Edit: To the response of the clinic. I have attempted contact SEVERAL times. Their responses and services were equally as unprofessional. It took a week to reach someone who could even do something about my issue, and they were rude and unprofessional the entire call. They blamed their new answering service for my issues. Someone from the office even texted me from their 'personal' cell phone. No office should be putting confidential patient information on their personal devices. I was promised a refund for my services, but I have not received it yet.

Fantastic experience: I always have had a pleasant visit there. Starting with the office staff who have been great at helping me schedule appointments. All of the dental assistants have been very good and nice to me. Dr. Delisle has my confidence through the whole process of any visits. I feel at home with no worries about my teeth. I believe that is a skilled dentist that looks out for my dental health. Always cheerful with good professional manner. I am comfortable there and would recommend them all!!

Fantastic experience: Emergency toothache , they got me right in and the dentist was AWESOME ! From the time you walk through the doors you feel like you matter. :) the receptionist was so nice, and the lady that helped the dentist knew I had anxiety and she was very caring, and explained every step along the way . I’ve never been this relaxed setting in a dentist chair before , I’ll be back. If you need a dentist , go there, take my word for it and you’ll love this place too !

Negative experience: This is my dentist office where I’ve been multiple times over years. Yesterday (6/19), a huge chunk of my FRONT tooth came out! I called Settlers Walk, expecting fairly immediate help, and was told they weren’t scheduling for Juneteenth but that someone would be in touch shortly. I never heard back. This morning (6/20), I called and was told I could not be scheduled until JULY 24– over a quarter of my front tooth is gone! I called a few other places and was able to get in TODAY to get it fixed. Def won’t be returning to SW dental care.

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist and this practice! I’ve been a patient here for 16 years, and even though I moved 40 minutes south, I still drive up to stay with Dr. Delisle and his team. When I first saw him I told him about my negative experiences with dentists, and from the start they all did whatever they could to provide gentle care and keep me calm. They’ve accommodated multiple emergency issues over the years, navigated insurance coverage changes…if you don’t LOVE your dentist and team, you need to come here.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist since college. Yep- 10 whole years. I was terrified and dreading my appointment, but my hygienist Kathy was FANTASTIC. I love how she explained everything to me and made me feel so welcomed. Luckily, my teeth and gums were still in good shape too! I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Monica our hygienist are amazing. She’s very friendly very compassionate and gentle with my 10 yrs old son who’s been scarred of Dentist but with her is perfect she also get the job done and making sure are throughly cleaned.

Negative experience: Apparently I was lied to. They canceled my appointment on Tuesday due to “compressor machine.” They told me it was broken and had to cancel all appointments for that day. The kicker is that I leave for Europe for a month in four days. They told me they would call me back when they got it fixed. So tell me why when I had to call back the next day they told me they don’t know why my appointment was canceled and that nothing is broken. Then they continue to tell me that there are no available spots for me now… absolutely ridiculous. It wasn’t until I had to talk two a few different people and had to raise my tone for them to understand my situation wearing a temporary crown and that I’m leaving and needed to come off and put permanent on. I’m not sure why my appointment was ever canceled and it’s ridiculous that it is like that. They never have availability and then cancel peoples appointments by telling them lies after I already have paid in full for my treatment.

Negative experience: Had a very dissapointing visit yesterday. After waiting 10 months for an appointment to be rescheduled, I spent an hour and a half in the chair - and didn't even get my teeth cleaned. Now, I'm being told it will be another 8 months until they can see me again. I positively love my Dentist! But, perhaps it's time to look for a new one....

Positive experience: I’m sad to say that for the first time, I was disappointed with my visit. After sitting in the waiting room for about 20 minutes and after three people who came in after me got called back, I asked if I had been forgotten. And I had. And during my exam I was told they were going to do an oral cancer screening. I thought maybe this was a new thing because I had never had that done before. I really wish they would have told me that my insurance did not pay for this. I live on a fixed income and so I have to watch every dollar. I actually did not have an extra $30 for this. Dr. DeLisle is still the best dentist.

Fantastic experience: I recently called with concerns over a cavity. They worked towards getting me in ASAP. In fact, I was seen within 2 days. On top of their smiles and friendly personalities, this is one of many reasons why I have continued to use Settlers Walk Dental for well over 10 years.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist place I've ever been too. Many of the staff members genuinely care about you and ive been coming for a decade now, this place won't hire you if you don't care. The Head Doctor has been with the company since I have been coming and he always checks the guests before they leave, as well as provide the best services for your mouth you could ever imagine. Will keep coming to this place as long as I can!

Fantastic experience: I've had very bad experiences with dentists in my 42 years of life. Some even straight up mean and cruel. Dr. Daniel and all the staff at Settlers Walk were nothing like those past dentist offices! In short? They were ✨️amazing!✨️ From Rachel being super helpful when I made my appointment to Liz being super kind and friendly when I checked in and getting us estimates for future work. Kat was a total rockstar walking me through everything and Dr. Daniel was equally fantastic. I didn't feel judged for my messed up mouth, just kindness and support. First dentist visit in 25 years where I didn't end up in tears in the chair from being bullied by staff or the dentist. It was a wonderful experience and I wish an office like theirs was an option for me all those years ago when my teeth started to go bad. They have a loyal patient for as long as I'm close enough to see them. They're also very proactive about anxieties and accommodations which very much calmed my anxiety right down. I honestly would give 7 stars if I could bc ABOVE and BEYOND is how these folks do their jobs. Thank you all again! Hopefully will see y'all soon to start work on making over my smile bc I trust y'all in a heartbeat to do right by me! And bc I know cost will come up as a question: Super reasonable pricing, no nickel and diming. In the past, I've paid 3x what I did yesterday at Settlers for a minor extraction before and was bullied on top of it. These folks actually give a crap about their patients and it shows. Quality care, kind staff, and reasonable cost. What's not to like?!

Fantastic experience: Dr Delisle performed an excellent professionally skilled assessment and treatment of an infection that had manifested following a root canal performed by another professional. Treatment resolved the infection allowing placement of temporary and permanent crowns in a timely manner. I definitely recommend Dr Delisle and his staff as your general dentist of choice.

Negative experience: Service has declined in the last year. The consistency in rescheduling appointments has only increased and they’re currently booking a year out.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so welcoming and upbeat (even singing to their music) the energy is great. Cleaning went well and they do a great job. I brought with me my daughter and 7 week old son and mine and my daughters appointments overlapped about 10 minutes and my son got fussy. My dental hygienist didn’t hesitate to ask one of the other girls to calm my son and she happily did so. As a busy mother that was much appreciated. Would highly recommend for any dental needs. Great people all around!

Negative experience: I had dentures made here. They were way to big for me and had to be lined for me to even wear them while I was waiting for my gums to heal and shrink. When I ask for adjustments it seemed as though they did not listen to what I was saying and had to have a friends friend who is a dentist shape them to my mouth. When I called for an appointment for a final lining I was told my insurance covered it. When I got seated the office girl came in and said I would owe $255.00 with my insurance. I explained that I was told they were still covered she said they couldn’t afford to do another realign. I left without the reline. Between my insurance and out of pocket these teeth were almost $6000. They still are loose and I will see if the other dentist can finish adjusting them so when I talk my tongue won’t catch the huge flanges Left on the bottom and flip out every time I start to talk and shorten them enough so the muscles in my lower jaw doesn’t push them out constantly. I will get a do it yourself line kit I am not happy with the whole experience

Negative experience: They cancelled my appointment without notification because I didn’t confirm by text, which they sent to the wrong phone. I didn’t know it was cancelled until I showed up. The next available appointment was 2 months later. This is not the way to treat long term customers who shuffle their schedule to meet their openings.

Positive experience: Super nice staff, but my only concern is the time between cleaning appointments is too long.I don't go back for 9 months and I feel like that is too long of time between routine cleanings.
