Fantastic experience: Went to Windsor Family Dentistry this morning I really like my Hygenist, Carrie. She was very thorough and informative. I would highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I do not recommend getting dental care here. From the moment my appointment began, it felt very sales based. Because of a similar issue at a pediatric dentist for my daughter prior to my visit here, I made it VERY CLEAR that I did not want any additional services outside of the normal and routine things done for a regular cleaning. They did extra x-rays that my insurance (and another dental office) both confirmed are not typical for cleanings and were unnecessary for me. I received a bill 2 weeks after my cleaning for the part my insurance wouldn’t cover since it isn’t a typical charge. I wasn’t planning to return because of the way I was treated by the hygienist, but I wasn’t going to leave a review. However, this sneaky billing left me with no choice. DO NOT get care here if you expect to do business with an honest company. They will perform unnecessary services and then leave you standing with a bill you didn’t expect.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional staff. The hygienist and the doctor were both very efficient with their time. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to have my dental work done by Windsor Family Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and efficient dental office. The filling in one of my teeth broke and I needed immediate care. I called Windsor Family Dentistry and they were able to see me very quickly. I needed a crown as I suspected and they were able to do it the same day. Very happy with my experience. Highly recommended! Just went back to have my permanent crown put in place. Very happy with result. The techs and dentist were very professional, efficient, and personable. Everyone did excellent work. Best recommendation after having many different dentists over the years! Went back to Windsor Family Dentistry for my first scheduled cleaning and checkup with them. Excellent hygienist, very thorough and knowledgeable, did a great job. The dentist came in for the exam and gave me great feedback. Very relaxed and comfortable environment, true professionals, highly recommended! Just went back for my scheduled cleaning. Great job, very knowledgeable & professional hygienist made helpful recommendations. Relaxing & comfortable atmosphere, competent & knowledgeable staff, highly recommended. Another thorough cleaning and checkup. Professional, efficient dental office, hygienists and dentists. Always happy with the outcome at Windsor Family Dentistry. Went back to Windsor Family Dentistry to have one of my crowns checked. Had an x-ray, all was fine. They made an adjustment for me & it felt much better. Very professional, reliable & competent staff. Happy with the result. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I went to Windsor Family Dentistry for the first time this week and I cannot give them enough praise. Scheduling was easy, they got me in quick, and when I needed follow up they got me in quick for that too! Ellie was my dental hygienist and I immediately felt comfortable with herx She was honest and straight forward, but also understanding and kind. She put me at ease and that’s more than I can say for previous dental offices! I have always disliked going to the dentist, but felt so different after my visit here! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Been going to Windsor Family dentistry for 10 years. During that time, there have been lots of changes. I was seen today for my 6 month cleaning, after having a stem cell transplant. Jenny, my hygienist, was very knowledgeable about my cancer treatments, and what precautions needed to be taken because of them. I was able to discuss the best possible solutions to some side effects I was having because of chemotherapy, in order to keep my oral health at it's best. Dr. Carter gave me a gentle exam, and filled out paperwork required by my oncologist. The front desk folks were right on it, and very pleasant. I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable dentist visits I have had!

Negative experience: Must read: I have never posted a bad review before. My family of four has been coming to WFD for 10+ years. It's my teenage sons' only dentist. 8 years ago they helped get my son through a very traumatic experience of severing off his two front teeth in a scooter accident. We have always loved coming here and developed a very good relationship (almost like family) with the hygienists, front desk and Dr. Lindsey. Fast forward to recently, this has all changed. Dr. Lindsey has left and the front desk staff is very rude, condescending, eye rolling and take no accountability for their mistakes. They want to argue with you and point the finger at your wrong doing. We have never been a no show - ever. We have never been late to an appointment. Promptness is my lifestyle and the way they treated me as a decade long client is downright insulting. My appointment got cancelled by them because I didn't confirm it the day before (if you read the most recent reviews, this is common practice). I used to have a note in my file that my appointments were automatically confirmed when made. This had been deleted unbeknownst to me. They overwhelm your phone with reminder texts with a long cancellation policy and all the fees that they are going to charge you if you cancel within 48 hours, if you are no show, etc. etc. NO WHERE in the text or voicemail do they say they are going to cancel your appointment if you don't confirm your scheduled appointment. AND to make it even worse, they don't send you a text to confirm that they have cancelled your appointment, so you have no idea until you show up. You can imagine my frustration when I show up as a busy, working mom and am told they have cancelled my appointment because it's my fault for not confirming (it's their policy, but they can't see how not being notified they have cancelled your appointment is not only frustrating and unprofessional, it should be illegal to do this without notifying someone - I left work for this appointment!) After much arguing and it escalating to yelling on my part after being told multiple times "there is nothing they can do about it" with NO apology, she finally looks at her computer and says, "I have an appointment at the same time tomorrow (2 PM)" and I said, "It's the same time tomorrow - 2 PM?" and she said, "Yes, the same time - 2 PM" It was very clear that the appointment was for the SAME time as the one they cancelled. WELL....I get a text at 1:45 the next day saying 'We will see you for soon for your 3 PM appointment" I was already on my way to the 2 PM appointment, so I marched into the office and was met with the same eye rolling and attitude. I was actually told there was no way she would have done that because they didn't have a 2 PM appointment. Never, EVER would I have scheduled a 3 PM appointment as we are already getting ready to head out for afternoon activities. She only wanted to argue and tell me I was in the wrong (yet again) I have NEVER been so mad and unfortunately, I started yelling, again. I asked them to pull the video footage and listen, I begged them to see what they could do to get us in. NOPE, nothing they can do to help. I then asked her to wipe her smug, smarmy look off her face as in 45 years I have never been met with such unprofessionalism. I was then notified that after they wasted two of my afternoons, with no apology (quite honestly this was a complete trainwreck of unprofessionalism) that my family was no longer welcome there. Obviously, my yelling was not ok, but I have never, ever been so frustrated in my entire life (I also read a review of a gentleman who had a similar experience of nastiness and they threatened to call the cops on him?!?) They literally took up two afternoons of my busy life. We have lived in Windsor for 21 years. After already speaking to friends, family and many clients, I can tell you this place is going down hill fast! Because they don't have to respect to tell you they WILL cancel your appointment with no notification if you don't confirm,, I will, because it's the right thing to do.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding experience — can't recommend enough! I came in after a terrible experience at another dental office where a poorly done crown broke along with my tooth. I was worried, but they were able to book me in the same day! Dr. Carter and her assistant Kerry were amazing. I was truly impressed by the amount of care, effort, and detail they put into their work. Dr. Carter is a true artist — I thought I would need an implant, but somehow he managed to stabilize and rebuild the base of my tooth.very knowledgeable,empathic and great quality work The teamwork in this office was also incredible. Bridget, another assistant, jumped in to help make sure the temporary crown looked perfect — thank you so much! And a special thank you to Kerry (you where awesome) for her dedication, patience, and passion. She made sure I walked out of there with a smile. Needless to say, this is now my new dental office. Fantastic experience: I am not a regular dental patient here or anywhere. I had not been to a dentist in 5 years so I was expecting an uncomfortable experience. First, I thought I had broken a tooth. Windsor Family Dentistry saw me on an emergency basis and made sure everything was okay. They then scheduled for me to come in for a full cleaning that would address the issues I was seeing with my teeth. Then when I came back for that deep cleaning, the hygienist, Rachel, made sure I was comfortable through the entire process communicating often about pain, comfort, and numbness. I was very happy with the experience and my teeth are so much better now! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: First time visit. After visiting a few other dental offices. The exam was quick. Jennifer, hygienist, identified that I need little more work than a regular cleaning. She was able to explain in detail what I needed. Explained how much my insurance covered. She didn’t try to up-sale, which was nice. I opted in for the deep cleaning and she got right to work. I had a great experience, Jennifer was very quick and efficient with her time. I was in and out. Painless. I recommend this office. Clean, organized and efficient.

Negative experience: They have a newer doctor here. Dr. Carter was suppose to fill 3 cavities (2 on my left side and 1 on my right). When injecting the local anesthetic he missed and never properly numbed my mouth. Instead, he numbed the nerve going to my eyelid and I could not blink for 2 hours. Apparently this happens occasionally… but missing the nerve twice!? And the cavity on the right side that they DID fill, they over filled. Now I cannot fully close my teeth because that back tooth is sitting too high compared to the rest of the teeth in my mouth. I left in a frustrated rush after attempting to tape my eye shut. After this experience they had the audacity to call me 5 minutes after leaving to let me know I didn't pay my bill. To their credit, when I called the next day they were willing to write off my portion of the bill because of my experience. For that, I give them an extra star back.

Negative experience: I use to love this place but everything has gone down hill in the last two years. They have had a lot of turnover and the office manager is condescending and dismissive when you try to converse with him, in the middle of a conversation he took a phone call and walked away. The hygienists have all been wonderful but the front desk staff is so terrible I’m never going back.

Negative experience: The dental assistant was great. But the communication from the person who took my appointment and the dentist was terrible. The dentist was in and out in less than 2min. The office staff didn’t provide clear communication.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very professional, polite and efficient. The only thing that could be improved was at the end of my visit I had a few questions and I felt the answers were curt so they could get to the next patient.

Fantastic experience: They’re always so kind at Windsor Dentistry. Ali and Dr. Carter are a great team. They made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions I give them 10 stars.

Negative experience: They canceled my appointment because I didn't answer their confirmation call the day before. I can't access my phone during the work day, so there was no way to confirm my appointment beforehand. I had to use sick time from work to schedule my appointment that they cancelled with no notification. No email, text, or voicemail saying my appointment was cancelled.

Positive experience: Had a great experience here for 5 years. Unfortunately, they have been impossible to reschedule with. I had an appt in June 2024, needed to reschedule - the earliest they could get me in was February 2025. They told me they would call if they had any cancellations. Six months later, they not only didn’t call but deleted my number from the system, told me the wrong time for my appt in February so when I showed up they couldn’t help me. They told me that it was my fault and that they didn’t have my phone number even though I’ve been a patient for 5 years and I haven’t changed numbers and they haven’t updated their systems. They magically could get me rescheduled in 2 weeks (why did they tell me I had to schedule out to February in June) and said that they would call me if they had any openings (been there, never called) however I left without an appt, frustrated, and I am finding a new dentist who won’t make me wait over a year for a cleaning only to tell me that they are sorry that my information wasn’t up to date when it never changed. I don’t live in town and had to pay someone to come into work for me, so lost out on $100 and my time and gas to basically be told that I was the problem and there was nothing they could do. Extremely disappointed- loved my dental hygienist, but not worth the constant rescheduling and waste of time.

Fantastic experience: So thankful for the team here! This isn’t my normal dentist, but I had my permanent retainer break and it became sharp and painful. Since my dentist was as closed on a Friday, I was connected with Windsor Family Dentistry. They got me an appointment early in the morning and fixed my retainer no problem. They were all sweet and the dentist was very funny. Hard to laugh with my mouth wide open. Definitely recommend them! I was so grateful for the instant relief they provided.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was very nice. As soon as I walked in she greeted me with a warm smile and kindness. The same when I checked out. The hygienist, Jessica, was so professional and took extra care since I was on oxygen. She did a wonderful job. Tomorrow I will see the doctor for a crown that came off and a chipped tooth. He briefly stepped in to introduce himself. All in all this team gets a great grade from me. I’d recommend Windsor Family Denistry.

Fantastic experience: Two of my favorite dental assistants where there! One helped with my procedure and the other came by to say "hi" and catch up! It was awesome!! Once again we flodded the halls with laughter so much they heard us all the way to the front desk. Very relaxing environment with true caring and extremely competent people. I didn't want to leave. And once again, the dentist was ok too...LOL!

Fantastic experience: It has been years since my last visit to a dentist. I have neglected to visit regularly, and was very hesitant to do so recently, expecting at the least a comment or scorn that obviously I was negligent. I was very relieved to be treated and learned very quickly that no such comment either directly , nor implied was ever made to me. This was greatly appreciated. The first two visits have been enjoyable from the sense that my dental problems will be taken care of by understanding and professional care takers. The scheduling and billing staff has been a great help in arranging payment and insurance coverage.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the service and attention to detail l received. Due to a problem discovered during checkup and cleaning, the dental staff informed me of the problem, showed what was happening and discussed what I needed to do to keep it from getting worse.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was today, and I can finally say - I love going to the dentist. Ellie was AWESOME and probably the best hygienist I’ve ever met. She was so personable, educated, and kind. She really made me feel heard and helped me to be comfortable the entire appointment.

Negative experience: Absolutely worst dentist I have ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It takes over 6 months to get an appointment and the work I got done was awful. They never follow up on phone calls to reschedule an appointment but they have no problem charging your card for it. Both appointments I had to schedule with them they forgot both times to do my routine teeth cleaning. The second appointment I was supposed to have a filling redone and a new one done. The dentist somehow forgot he said last appointment my filling needed redone so he did a rush job on it and the new filling. 2 weeks go by and I can’t eat on the side that he redid the filling on. I call and email several times to see why my mouth was in so much pain. They never once got back to me and I had to see another dentist to fix their mistake. The work they did was so poor, the dentist cracked my tooth from doing the filling so fast and I was forced to receive a crown or root canal. I had to pay $1000 out of pocket to fix their mistake. This is the most greedy business I’ve ever experienced with the worst customer service.

Fantastic experience: My girls and I had a fantastic experience with our dental hygienists. I have been coming here for a couple years and they keep you informed to what is happening with your teeth but not push any agendas that are not necessary. Felt safe and comfortable the whole time. In the last twenty years this is only the second dentist I found that I like.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown replaced today and it went very smoothly. The DDS and hygienist were a great team. The procedure was smooth and efficient and absolutely pain free. I chose my dental team wisely!

Negative experience: I have to amend my review below, from several years ago. My husband and I had both been going to Windsor Family Dentistry for several years after my last review, and we both saw and liked Dr. Lindsey, but Dr. Lindsey has left this office. Neither my husband or I liked the new dentist, Ryan Ward. We observed him being rude to his staff, and experienced him as annoyed when we asked questions. He seemed more focused on just getting a job done than doing so well. My husband and I were both told that we had 3 cavities in almost identical places. I got my cavities filled, but my husband was so unhappy with this dentist, and we were both feeling suspicious after we discovered our alleged cavities were nearly identical, so he chose to find Dr. Lindsey in his new place of employment for a second opinion. Turns out, he didn't have any cavities. 5 star review from several years ago: I had a bad dentist experience three months ago, which left me with some anxiety, as well as a wobbly filling. My experience at this office, with Bridgette and Dr. Wang, was 100% better! Fantastic experience: Want to find a dentist that truly cares about your well being? Uses the latest technology to get it right and takes the time to make your experience pleasant? I believe that you can't do better! I walked in Monday needing extensive treatment and the fear that goes along with it. A follow-up visit on Thursday left me , my teeth feeling practically new again. Aside from little or no discomfort made me wonder why I waited so long. These guys are the best by far! Fantastic experience: At 42 I had my very first cavity. I’m petrified of needles in my mouth. My anxiety is bad, like meltdown, panic attack bad. The entire staff was so kind, patient and supportive. Dr. Ward took his time, was gentle and so understanding. He did a fantastic job and the front desk ladies are hilarious and the best. I can’t recommend everyone who works here enough.

Negative experience: My teen went in on her own and they upsold her the fluoride treatment and made her pay the extra right there instead of billing me and didn’t give her a receipt. I also do not like needing to confirm my appointment or loose it!
