Negative experience: Not truly a judgement free place like they advertise. I went in for the first time here after back to back pregnancies with really severe morning sickness that just really put a number on my teeth. However the dentist that I saw here kept making comments about me clearly having an eating disorder multiple times. Will not be retuning.

Positive experience: Service was fine, but got started 10 to 15 minutes late. The music being piped in was rather annoying to me—geared toward people aged 15 to 25 and not relaxing.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been coming to this office since 2001, and we still love it. They have definitely grown since then. But they do offer the most updated dental care right in-house. Bonny cleaned my teeth today and she is excellent. So efficient. Just love her.

I’d specifically chosen this practice after doing extensive research because of how positive the reviews were. I even drove nearly an hour and it was absolutely worth it. Everyone was so kind and reassuring. My hygienist, as well as the dentist made me feel very comfortable. I will never ENJOY going to the dentist, but I will certainly be coming back with much calmer nerves. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had a 4:10 appointment for a filling and showed up at 4:00. I was in the chair by 4:05 and out the door at 4:20. No numbing (my choice), minimal discomfort. Excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place, I have horrible teeth and I came in for a walk in and my regular dentist wanted to pull my teeth, but the Dentist I spoke with told me he can save them, and also build a bridge between my teeth so I will no longer have missing ones. This is a out of network for me but totally worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, DON’T WAIT TO BOOK!! If you are looking for a personable experience and a great one at that, this is the place. Hands down, there was barely a 5 min wait to go back. The hygienist was outstanding and on point. They worked diligently and everything went so smooth. Even though she had a job she still made conversation and it was like instant family by the end. The dentist was so kind and didn’t rush through, he made time to get to know you as a person as well as listening to your concerns. My husband and I were so pleased with this experience. Super thankful to be able to bring our family over.

Negative experience: I literally went into the appointment letting them know that I only wanted them to do stuff That was. Covered by the insurance I went in for cleaning. They didn't X-ray, but I did not ask for when that now.They're charging me for something that I did not ask for .

Fantastic experience: Thank You Jesus!! I'm newer to the office and each of my visits have been so great!! Welcoming, warm, friendly and a "so happy to see you" attitude. It is great! I love that they understand my very very high anxiety with my visits (childhood experiences with dentist) and are patient with me. I don't feel as if they are in a hurry to do the work so they can get the next one in, and I really appreciate that! Because of my dentist who is newer to the office, I've gotten better with the dental anxiety and truly enjoy my visits (still have dental anxiety but it is getting so much better since I started with him) Thank You Hudsonville Dental and Dr. Cabarra!!!

Fantastic experience: Everybody is very friendly and accommodating. I had a crown put in, and Dr. Jeremy was patient and pleasant. The assistants are all wonderful. I have Chronic neck pain, and I could not lay all the way back, but they gave me a pillow and made everything very comfortable. The dentist worked fast and efficient. The billing was explained very clearly in the beginning and then again when I pay at the end. I have no complaints thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: As a very new patient, I was glad to get a prompt appointment. Staff and hygienist are all super friendly. Cleaning went well, but on my way home I wondered if I got my teeth polished afterall, probably due to our talking so much? I noticed I didn't have the minty taste and smell associated with the polishing. Am I losing it?

Fantastic experience: As a twenty-something who hasn't stayed up to date with her dentist appointments and is hyper aware of her budget, Hudsonville Dental was a wonderful choice. Staff were extraordinarily communicative about what the cost of my visits would be and were thorough in explaining how insurances are billed. This gave me a lot of peace of mind, which was then reinforced again during my appointments. For my first visit, Bonny took my x-rays and for the first time in my life, she explained what everything meant in a really accessible way. I have never had that experience at the dentist! It was awesome. She then cleaned my teeth and then introduced me to my dentist, Dr. Greidanus, who was so sweet and knowledgeable. Both Bonny and Greidanus were excellent at creating a comfortable atmosphere and not shaming me for my dental history. I left the appointment feeling well cared for and not anxious about coming back. A few days later I came in for a filling and my frequent questions were answered swiftly and without judgement. All went well and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Feeling really good about my choice to come here!

Fantastic experience: I just switched from a different dental office in jension and I was worried about not being heard about concerns like I had been feeling at the other provider. Thankfully, as soon as I walked in, I was asked about concerns and I immediately felt at ease. They heard me and gave me great consultation about issues that I was worried about. Fantastic experience: Edit. I was seen today 6 -19-2025. My experience was amazing from the receptionist to Elizabeth. Dr. Schell to check out and the manager Doug. They all made sure they had all of the appropriate information in the computer. Elizabeth made sure she got thorough scans and Doug made sure everything was complete before I left. I truly appreciated this because I live 2 hours away. To have a dentist off that you feel safe at is so hard to find. Hudsonville dental not only makes me feel safe but they also treat me and all their patients as family. Thank you so much Hudsonville dental for being so amazing. Fantastic experience: I was able to get in quickly, even though I am not an established patient here. Dr Cabrara and the dental assistant were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. All of the staff that I spoke with here were nice and friendly, they seemed like they cared and enjoy their jobs. I may become a regular here and tell my current dental office goodbye.

Fantastic experience: The staff were so nice and informative. I know one of my greatest fears when going for dentists being judge for dental hygiene but they don't make you feel inadequate in any way. There's a reason there's still my dentist even though I moved to Grand rapids.

Dr Schell is very efficient and respects your time. He does great work. Office manager Doug was also great in going over billing and scheduling follow up visits. I had an issue and he had me on the schedule the next day to get it fixed. Over all great staff and very friendly people. Strongly recommend

Fantastic experience: Sometimes as a person of color in a majority white space, you are treated differently. But at this dentist , you can tell everyone is treated with the same love, care and treatment. I really appreciate the ladies at the front desk, the dental hygienist and the dentist himself for making me feel welcome and taking care of me so well. Sometimes it’s about more than the actual teeth, and this dentist office understands that. I hope they always strive for this level of kindness for their patients!

My husband and I both see Deb as our hygienist and she is both gentle and efficient. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest— I’m terrified of the dentist. It had been 10 years since my last visit, and with a recently broken tooth, I was dreading what they might say. But from the moment I walked into this office, the staff was so welcoming and friendly that I immediately felt more at ease. The dentist was incredibly kind and professional, taking the time to explain everything to me in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming. I was expecting the worst, but to my surprise, the treatment plan was so much better than I had imagined—not nearly as scary or intense as I had built up in my head! For the first time in years, I feel confident about taking care of my teeth again. I even have a cleaning scheduled! If you’re someone who has been avoiding the dentist out of fear, I highly recommend this office. They truly put me at ease, and I’m actually looking forward to getting my dental health back on track.

Fantastic experience: After cracking a crown on Tuesday evening, I called on Wednesday morning to check for openings since I was flying to Arizona on Saturday. The staff had me scheduled to see Dr Cabrera at 11 am. Dr Cabrera and his assistant V did a great job taking care of me and getting my crown replaced that same day! I appreciate them and the entire staff for their professionalism and taking care of me in a very timely manner.

Fantastic experience: Another Update 2/4/25: I see Allison every time I go now and she’s been wonderful! All the doctors here are really great too. I have no complaints! Update- I saw Allison the hygienist yesterday 3/28/23 she was so nice! She had a great conversation with me and was very thorough with my cleaning. Answered any questions and concerns I had. If you’re on the waiting list for an appointment just wait, appointments open up quickly! I went here for myself yesterday to get a few fillings. This was the best experience at a dentist I’ve had in my adult life and I’ve been to quite a few dentists. Dr. Peiffer was absolutely amazing, he treated me with kindness. I felt so nervous going into my appointment because of my past experiences with other dental offices but he eased my anxiety and did not judge me at all. I truly felt comfortable. I will continue going here. My husband loves this office as well. We do have insurance so the prices were not bad either.

Negative experience: Been going here for a couple years…honestly never been a huge fan. But tried calling today because I had tooth/jaw pain and was told they couldn’t see me for a week. And to go to urgent care if it gets worse. Felt very dismissed when I have never needed an emergency appointment before.

Fantastic experience: Very thorough in the new patient evaluation, which I appreciate! X-Rays are usually pretty difficult for me, but they handled my issue very well and it was easy! Highly recommend! Also, I like that you can schedule an appointment even as a new patient online! Very easy and the staff is incredibly friendly. I appreciate their honesty on pricing and their explanation on what each procedure entails!

Negative experience: I went in for a “free” consultation regarding teeth whitening and while checking in they told me it’s also a $390 payment for an exam. I said I’m here for the free consultation and wasn’t told about this over the phone. They said the consultation is free but I need to pay for an exam still. Something I was never told over the phone. So I wasted my entire morning for nothing. Thanks for lying to me Hudsonville Dental. Your unprofessionalism has been noted.

Fantastic experience: New patient to Hudsonville dental. Don’t normally write many reviews for services but so far have been very pleased with first few visits, including needing a new crown put on. Prior dentists have left me with some reservations about dental work but the professional staff and care they’ve taken during initial appointments have really changed my opinion on what a dentist appointment can be.

Fantastic experience: I had broken off a crown and teeth at the gum line. I was given options and out of pocket costs. I chose the less expensive treatment and walked out of the office with temp crown and return for the permanent crown next month, when my advanced dental insurance goes into effect. The staff was so kind, courteous, and professional. I am Blessed to have chosen Hudsonville Dental.

Fantastic experience: I went in for my normal cleaning and to have my broken cap looked at and to see how long it would take to come back and repair. To my surprise, they said if I could clear my Calander for another couple of hours, they could replace it today. I walked out with cleaned and polished teeth and a brand-new cap. Amazing. Allison, Ashley and Dr. G were awesome and totally blessed my day. Thank You!

Negative experience: I was very disappointed and discouraged by the front desk staff and the quality of customer service that we received. Also we were strongly mislead with what to expect on our first time visit. Also, we felt like money and non necessary evaluations of services were pushed upon us.

Fantastic experience: My annual check ups/cleanings have been great! I had my first "emergency appointment" ever for a broken tooth this morning, and it went just as smoothly. I appreciate that they give you a price quote before performing any additional treatments, and the treatment itself was done quickly and comfortably! The staff is also very friendly and kind. Fantastic experience: I first heard of this dentist office front son who need pain relief. I called them about my aging husband who was in pain and need a tooth pulled. They wasted no time getting him in . I again had to bring my husband back again for a bad tooth and they couldn't help him but sent him to a surgeon. And again. Quickly set up a appt. For him. So when I was in need for a crown do to a broken tooth. I called them and ask if they did a same day service for a crown. They said yes. Some how the inform didn't get processed correctly and they where going to send me home only to make a new appt. When I explained to them I was told I could have this all done in one day. The front desk went and explained to the dentist and they where good enough to fit me in and get it all done. Now I tell you all this because I was already stress with med. Problem my husband has been having and need to get this taken care of that day The front desk was very concerned talked to dentist and took very good care of me. I give this office a big ten stars you just don't find that kind of caring people now days. I cannot thank. The girls up front. The thec Alias and dentists that care of me GOD BLESS THEM ALL i will surely pass.
