Fantastic experience: Great experience. Friendly employees! My hygienist called out sick. Unbeknownst to me (the office did call to let me know 35 mins before my appointment, but I didn’t get the message), I went to my appointment. The staff accommodated me with another hygienist that was available since I made the trip to the office. Great office to use!!

Fantastic experience: Ambler Dental Care is amazing! From the moment you arrive you are treated with care and respect. Everyone is kind and engaging and extremely professional. Dr. Mark Boules is excellent, he does not rush through his consults he explains everything in real time and discusses his treatment plan, so you feel confident in his care. I was extremely impressed with the entire practice.

Negative experience: I wish I would have never stepped foot in this dentist office. They make recommendations for treatment with not a look at what the next steps could be. It’s been nothing but trouble with this group. Once I was in the chair getting major work done and one of the two main dentist was demanding that I took down a review I had of them. Felt like they were insisting take it down or we won’t do our best to help you. They ask you to review this place before you even have a chance to check out and almost forcefully ask you to leave a review true or not. You can tell by looking at their poor reviews and see the automated responses. They don’t really care, customers I mean patients. We are just another vacation to these doctors. My most recent issue I had was with a crown and extremely expensive I might add only stayed in maybe six months and fell out. Then the crown fell out about every three months. Four times this occurred and one of the times I they saw me pull the crown out of my backpack and proceeded to put it directly into my mouth without any kind of sanitation. Two different instances I’ve had to ask them to clean the crown before glued it back into my mouth. This last time they put so much glue in my mouth it caused the rest of the tooth to break. To make matters worse when trying to find a solution. I call and ask for some help they tell me they need to discuss with the doctor and will call me back. They never call back… After waiting I call back because the last time I waited for a tooth injury I was told I’d have to get an out of network super extremely expensive surgery I get an attitude from the front desk. I’ll admit I have not been the easiest to work with, but this is after multiple times of mistreatment. PLEASE do yourself justice, show some self respect, and find a different dentist. I know I will because I am dreading the new expenses and pain I am having and going to experience trying to fix the mistakes of this practice. Look past the ad free Netflix think about how much better your mouth could feel. I bet if it were up to them they would actually charge you per episode you watch. Sorry you’ve read all this and good luck with your teeth. Hopefully this office actually reads this review and there’s not just a computer generated response.

Negative experience: The WORST! Had an appointment scheduled for 3 months and when I arrived was told the Doctor couldn’t be there that day and they lied about leaving me a message about this. I took off work for this and the best they could do was reschedule it two months later.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient, I had an extremely positive experience from initially being greeted by the front desk staff to scheduling a future appointment. My hygienist was thorough and did an excellent job from x-rays to applying the fluoride gel. The dentist was warm, efficient and engendered trust. I knew when I left that I had found the right dental office.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy to have found Ambler Dental. Local, professional, and very clean office. I own my own practice in speech therapy, so I’m super critical of service and appearance. Dr. Mark was awesome and discussed all issues and options clearly. He sent exercises for my mastered tension immediately versus days later. Front desk was thorough, friendly, and helped me understand my dental benefits on the spot. They also got me in within days when I had a mild dental emergency! This is my go to dental practice!

Positive experience: As a new patient I found the front desk staff to be very friendly, and the hygienist to be very thorough. I have a real fear of dental work and the hygienist took that into consideration while she completed her work. It was an excellent visit.

Negative experience: After years of our entire family coming here, we are leaving. We have never been late to any of our appointments. But even after rearranging my entire day to be there on time, due to a broken train light that would not let us through and all the cars having to take a detour, we were 9 minutes late for my son's appointment and was turned away. I explained the situation in great detail but they didn't care. We still had 20 minutes and from previous experience the cleaning and check up does not take full 30 minutes. He doesn't even have all of his teeth yet! There were no patients after us. We were the last appointment. This is for a child's health. I hate to break the news but being in healthcare sometimes means going above and beyond for your patients. It's very disappointing that the practice is willing to delay patient care for such a small sacrifice on their part. And for that lack of care we will be moving to a different practice. There are many to choose from.

Fantastic experience: The Office is bright and cheerful with receptionists who answer all of your questions and do not rush you. The dental assistants are thorough and ensure that you are comfortable. The Dentist is very knowledgeable and professional. I saw Dr. John after using my former (now retired) dentist for forty years. He understood my needs and made sure that all of my questions were answered. I definitely made the right decision by going to Ambler Dental and now using Dr. John as my new Dentist!

Negative experience: Went in to get a cracked filling fixed and instead got a "cavity" filled. I was under the assumption I made the appointment for the cracked filling. I even stated I was there for that and no one took the time to confirm anything with me before they started drilling. I stupidly trusted they knew what I came in for and only became aware of something wrong during the procedure. I had to clarify and was then told they could fix the cracked filling at no extra cost. Now I have a filling I never condoned and have completely lost trust in the dental practice.

Fantastic experience: This place deserves all the amazing reviews it has received. I went in for a cleaning which resulted in needing two fillings. The cleaning itself was super thorough and they checked not only teeth health, but gum and bone health as well and provided some more care tips over what electronic toothbrushes to avoid vs. what’s best on market. I set up one appointment for the fillings which then had to turn into two appointments because of my schedule. The staff was more than accommodating at the last minute! I love the fact they give you sunglasses for the light and the TVs on the ceiling are a nice touch. The filling procedure is probably the best one I’ve experienced. They do not joke about making sure you are comfortable. The topical numbing gel before the needle at the injection site is a nice gesture. The amount of numbing they use is proportionate to the work being done. You’re not going to feel it at all! They thoroughly check your bite afterwards. Even with all that both filling appointments door to door were only 30 mins!

Fantastic experience: I broke my front tooth on Friday afternoon, and my regular dentist could not see me until Tuesday. My friend recommended me to Ambler Dental Care, and they came in on a Saturday morning to fix my tooth. The office was modern and clean. They had TV’s on the ceiling so you can watch a show while getting dental work done (why haven’t I seen this in any other dentist I’ve been to? Genius!). They were super friendly, and accommodating, my tooth looked better than new when they were done. The attention to detail while making sure the repair was shaped correctly was reassuring. They take pride in their work and care about their patients. Needless to say, I have found my new primary dentist. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sampat's communication is world class. I will say it again. His communication is world class. I had some pain in my jaw and so we started with a CT scan to start investigating. He explained what he saw going on with my teeth and was extremely thorough as he was analyzing the CT scan with me. He pointed out everything he saw, in real time, on his large monitor. Everything from my teeth to my gums to my roots to my sinuses were checked thoroughly. I never once felt like I was asking too many questions or that I was being rushed out of the dental room, or pressured to nod my head "yes" to things that did not make sense to me. He explained everything in a way that would make sense to anyone, and answered all of my questions with patience and understanding. I really appreciate that Dr. Sampat took the time to educate me on a deeper level because I like understanding everything on a deeper level, whereas other dentists might not care to explain what they see to their patients. He was also very specific about my options moving forward. I have had multiple root canals done in the past, and am in the process of deciding what to do going forward, so he laid out of all of my options, pros and cons, and his own professional recommendation. Great communication cannot be learned in school or from a book. I truly believe Dr. Sampat is a diamond of a human being and is such a great communicator because he truly cares about providing a world class experience and service. He has shown me that dentists can be personable, professional, kind, respectful, and passionate, all at the same time. I cannot thank him enough for taking time out of his busy Thursday morning to thoroughly analyze my CT scan and answer all of my questions. Also, as a last point, the new patient form is quick and was done easily on my phone in less than 15 minutes. I really appreciated this because I abhor filling out cramped and faded doctor office forms on pen and paper. I know we have all been there. In summary, Dr. Sampat is a dentist and human like no other. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, and I have left feeling reassured that everything was checked thoroughly. There were too many good things to say that I cannot fit on one Google review, but his communication really is second to none and that is what stood out to me the most, and what I care about the most! Thank you again for making me feel valued and understood!

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area. The staff that I came in contact with were all warm and caring. A bonus was that while having my teeth cleaned I could watch the tv which was on the ceiling! Also, a nice gift package is given to first timers. It was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: This dental office is exceptional. I've been taking my disabled relative here for about one year. They are clean, polite, organized and honest. Let's face it, the dentist could tell you ANYTHING when you are in pain and you could be charged ANYTHING. Kind of like the auto mechanic- some things you need done asap. My relative lost one of many crowns. We went to her relatively new dentist at Ambler Dental and they made a new crown. When I paid they told me this was a crown they had put in six months ago. They could have charged us but did not. I would have had no way of knowing which crowns were which and my relative has dementia so she would not recall. What does that tell you about their integrity?

Fantastic experience: This has got to be the best business I've ever encountered. All the staff have been so friendly and helpful every time I've been there. They give practical and specific advice to improve your dental health. They have been upfront and straightforward about my options and the associated costs and have never pushed pricey treatments or products on me. Between the refrshments, sunglasses, and TVs in the exam rooms, they take every measure to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy your visit. Can't recommend highly enough... Dr Choi interacted several times, with the Endodontist to make certain we were all on the same path. They made me feel welcome and that I was important. Fantastic experience: Just moved to the area for work, so I was in need of a new long-term dentistry. I liked my first visit so far. The staff, the dental hygienist, Amanda, and the dentist, Dr. Choi, were all very kind, informative, professional. Fantastic experience: The staff, particularly Stephanie was very friendly and attentive. Dr. Cao was great. I appreciated his assessment and options for course of action. I believe that Ambler Dental will be my permanent dentist.

Negative experience: Good until it’s not. I had about $10,000 in work done last year and ended up owing around $400. Then I had a cap fall out. I called to see if it was a tooth they had worked on because my last dentist would always fix an issue like that. Ambler dental wouldn’t even allow me to ask a question about work I had gotten done until I had paid my debt. Another thing I saw in reviews, experienced and wish I would have paid more attention to is when they come in to show you the cost break down of the work I was going to have done. It always seemed like the next visit had an entire new work order with more costs that had to be paid out of pocket. My insurance had definitely been maxed out. Also they refused my second free cleaning due to the balance being over due, but after the first cleaning my mouth hurt so bad I really did not want to have the second cleaning done. Last they will make you out all sorts of reviews by text as soon as you leave your appointment and send you constant automated texts if you have a remaining balance. Like I stated before nice until it’s not. The Dentist and assistant we’re nice, but then I felt like I was sent to the mob when my debt wasn’t fully paid. 96% paid off is not 100% paid off. Works for them though because now I’ll probably have to lose the other half of my mouth now because of the cap that fell out!

Fantastic experience: Love Dr John He is kind gentle caring and explains everything. The staff is wonderful always checking on my comfort. I am so afraid of dentist ! I would get butterflies. But Dr John. makes me feel safe and I recommend him and staff wonderful

Fantastic experience: My dentist sent me here for a wisdom tooth extraction. Just one. Very painless and comfortable. Experienced the things they told me I would as far as pressure. Afterwards I feel the doctor was so good and gentle it helped the pain level’s during post procedure. Very minimal and ibuprofen was enough to ward off any discomfort.

Fantastic experience: Hadn’t been to a dentist since pre-Covid and had one of the best experiences. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and the new patient process was very easy. I was nervous, but they made sure to take care of me. All the employees were extremely welcoming and friendly. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I went in while I was 6 months pregnant and being it’s my first pregnancy I was nervous. They took really good care of me, answered any questions I had in regards to what’s safe for the baby and made sure I was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I'm beyond thrilled with my experience with Ambler Dental. I chipped one of my front-most teeth pretty significantly when I was about 7 or 8 years old and have been dealing with an insecure smile ever since. Today, that changed for me when I called Ambler Dental (right down the street from my office) and they offered to fit me in for a 3:00 same-day appointment. The staff and dental team was so diligent, eager, and determined to not only give me an immediate semi-permanent short-term fix before leaving, but also to lay out a more permanent solution for the future. As cheesy as it sounds, I can't stop smiling (which is HUGE given how shy I typically am about showing my teeth). The tooth not only looks amazing, but it feels no different than it's neighbors (something that previous dentists have not been able to successfully achieve for me). I'm so happy and can't wait to return to the office for my cleaning in a couple weeks.
