Fantastic experience: From the business managers to the Dental technician, and the Dentist I was pleasantly surprised, they fit my emergency lost filling in on a Monday . I had a very friendly Dental Technician, she offered me a blanket and sunglasses, it was calming for my anxiety and I was equally impressed by the business staff who were able to handle being bated by patient and not rise to the challenge. Overall it was more like a weird but pleasant spa day. Even though I was in pain they did an amazing job on my filling as well. Yes, I enjoy the dentist anyway , and probably no one else would say that it was spa like , but I was impressed.

Negative experience: Terribly rude staff. Asked me inappropriate questions. Over charged my insurance for initial exam. Injured soft tissue at initial exam that will never be the same and also told me to stop moving and complaining as they were causing this injury. When I later called to address the issue with staff I, was dismissed. I asked twice to speak to management and was refused. I would be shocked the office addresses this review as they have others here. I have asked 3 times to be removed from their call and mailing list however they KEEP CALLING! FOLLOW UP: I’ve given consideration to calling your office, again. I wrote this review because your office wouldn’t hear my issue after 3 initial attempts and would not stop calling to solicit services. Your reply here is to call you. I don’t want to. Do better.

My hygienist Dienys was very thorough and spent time explaining to me every procedure and answered all my questions. Dr Rossman was patient and pleasant to talk with. Fantastic experience: As a new Invisalign patient who is older they made me feel comfortable and not awkward about having this done. I loved the fact that they have the new technology to make things quick and "gag free". Dr Mckenzie is very calming and soft spoken and answered all my questions fully. I am very confident I will love my results when I am finished with my treatments.

Fantastic experience: I really like Dr. Ammy Rossman and her practice. Her staff is professional and organised. Melissa was really friendly and made sure my insurance was in network. She addressed all my questions before and after the appointment. Always check with insurance no matter what dentist you go to but I can attest that this practice makes the process very smooth. I especially appreciate their transparency both financially and with my dental care. They provide a quote and break down of costs prior to treatment which is very refreshing. I wish more practices did this! Dr. Rossman is also very friendly and transparent about my dental health. She explains all options throughly and addresses my questions too. She has great bedside manner. I recommend her and her practice wholeheartedly.

Negative experience: The office staff told me I owed money on my free cleaning so I left before I went to the back. My insurance has them listed in my plan and it should have been $0

I am 66 of age and petrified of Dentist, to the point that you mention Dentist and my blood pressure shoots up, but then I had a big emergency they saw me immediately. the staff and Dr. Jesus where so Patience with me I cannot believe that they waited for my pressure to go down. They spoke to me so I could relax and did the work that I needed it done. I have been back about five times to correct everything else super happy with them and definitely recommend them to everyone else especially those people who have panic of the Dentist. I give them a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Darwin Family Dental Care for 1.5 years now. I chose them for my mother and although my insurance was not accepted, I chose to become a self-pay patient after I experienced how well Dr. Winsett treated my mother. I respect and appreciate how knowledgeable she is and how she takes the time to explain all of the options available to help the patient make an informed decision about their health. I honestly dread going to the dentist but I feel comfortable with her working on my teeth because of how gentle and precise she is when she did my fillings. I also have had a great experience several times with Raed-dental hygienist- and Crystal and all of the wonderful and professional staff. I now have dental health insurance that covers my visits at Darwin and I am so grateful that they are here and look forward to bringing my other family members to Darwin Family Dental Care!

Negative experience: I liked the hygenist that worked on me, however there was a lot of confusion in the front office. My last visit was well over a year ago. At one point someone called me saying I owed money but couldn't tell me why, she said we'll call you back and hung up. Didn't hear from them. Now a significant amount of time has passed and they sent me a random $600 bill. I have a hard time believing this is legit when they couldn't explain it a year ago.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere was very clean. I was met by Liz and Veronica who were extremely helpful , knowledgeable, and put my mind at ease . I felt comfortable, and knew I was in good hands . I felt I was provided a lot of education by Dr Rossman , and information that helped me understand my care. I never felt pushed or hurried during the appointment, they gave me time to decide and think about what would be best for my own personal interests . Will definitely be following up here soon for future appointments .

Fantastic experience: I ain’t gone tank yall rating, I ain’t going to lie in these comments though. I don’t trust yall suggestions with my teeth. Everytime I come in here it’s always some extra charge or need that I never had until I came to you. Stop upselling people and be honest. That’s all I ask.

Negative experience: I came in after feeling discomfort on one of my teeth for an emergency visit. After X-rays, one of the dentists came in and said that I have a cavity and had a team member go over a care plan. I asked to think about it. But had an appointment scheduled a few days after for my routine cleaning. After my second visit and cleaning, I had a different doctor come in, as they normally do to go over everything. I mentioned moving forward with cavity treatment and she was surprised to hear me say that because she sees no evidence of a cavity. She even pulled my X-rays up and said everything looked great. Had I not had a second opinion, I would have had an unnecessary filling and expense.

My family and I have been visiting Darwin Family Dental Care for over two years now, and we have had nothing but excellent experiences. Everyone at the clinic is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We never have to wait for our appointments, and if they say our appointment is at 11 am, it’s at 11 am, not a minute later like other places that make you be there “15 minutes” prior and then won’t actually see you until 15-20 minutes past your appointment time. It’s a waste of time! The staff at Darwin Family Dental Care is truly amazing. The front desk receptionist are all incredibly caring, especially Crystal. Doctor Winsett creates a great environment and leads her team by example. She’s friendly, caring, and always listens to you. All their hygienists are also very good. Negative experience: I did an appointment because I apparently had my tooth poking out of my gum because a few weeks prior I had surgery and when they put the tube it ripped a big chunk of my gum.. I was in so much pain I barely ate for 3 days and barely slept from the pain... the dentist tells me there gonna do a procedure to shave the tooth down.. but because I didn't have $280 they basically told me to get out of there office.. now I'm stuck with this horrid pain and it might even be infected.. but I guess hippocratic oath does not mean anything with how the world is today.. so I guess I'm in the wrong for being surprised that someone actually cares about helping and not $280... avoid at all costs, good luck

Negative experience: Update: No longer a patient at this place. I had to leave after months of frustration with the billing department, inaccurate insurance claim coding and billing errors. I've visited this office twice. I had a great experience with the hygienist, he is great, patient, knowledgeable. I hadn't realized I was living in pain for a while until he treated me and got rid of an infection in my gum cause by a previous procedure. This infection had been caused by having food stocked in a pocket left after my wisdom tooth removal a couple of years back by SAH dentistry. For starters, that was a terrible experience and the aftermath too, lingering pain and discomfort for so long that it became normal to me. I'm glad I've found Darwin Dental.

Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled out 2 months finally the day of my appointment I show up 15 mins early and they tell me “unfortunately we can’t see you today because we couldn’t confirm you were coming” they assumed I wasn’t coming to my appointment and then asked me when is another day I’m free lol this place is a joke if you do this stuff to people. I work law enforcement and I had to make arrangements at work just to come to this appointment for you guys to give me a sad excuse like that. Thanks for nothing I would not be recommending this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have major dental phobia. From the dentist to the hygienist, to the x ray tech. they were very understanding and worked with me to address all my concerns. This was paramount in helping me get through my first visit after so many years avoiding the dentist. Dr. McKenzie was a blessing and answer to prayer. If you are scared or nervous, this is the place to go!

Negative experience: Nice staff but my problem was I confirmed my insurance with the receptionist, told me my insurance covered my cleaning 100% , I told her to please double check because I’m not paying a fee afterwards!2 weeks later I got a bill for around 50$ ! Never came back because of this ! I also did call the receptionist back , she said that there’s nothing they can do, I had to pay it !

Everyone made sure I was comfortable and explained my treatment plan and costs thoroughly. As a recent transplant to the area I had to find a new dentist which is difficult to do. It did take a few months to get an appointment as a new patient but they kept me informed and sent me reminders along the way. I look forward to having the Darwin Family Dental team take care of my dental needs. Update: I have been going to this dental office for a couple of years now. My review is still the same.

Negative experience: I used to like this place until they kept sending me a bill for something that was already paid and when I asked for an itemized bill they stated they would send it, and I never received. I proceeded to call in for my yearly cleaning to be told they will not see me or my husband till it’s paid asked to speak to the manager got Barbra or Brenda and was told I was sent to collections I had to deal with them and they would not see me. Never have I experienced such unprofessional behavior. On top of that they did my root canal in 2022 and didn't do it correctly had to have it redone by a specialist instead of them sending me the first time. Stay far away from this office. So much has changed since we started going there in 2017.

Negative experience: The office verified my insurance was accepted PRIOR to my children's dentist appointments and I was advised we were in network. After 2 plus hours of waiting and cleaning/exam, I was then advised we were out of network AFTER services were rendered. This cost me close to $400 out of pocket when I could have chose an in network provider. This is very unprofessional. I even provided my insurance card at check in and was told i was "all set." I suggest to reconfirm and double check your insurance BEFORE services are rendered so you are not left with a hefty out of network fee!

Negative experience: My hygienist is wonderful but this dental practice office is not ethical. The office manager has not returned my call about billing when I have called several times. They made me pay a copay for a cleaning and after speaking with my insurance company I do not pay a copay for dental cleaning Then weeks later I get a bill for $87 close to the same amount I paid at time of visit. This place is a joke ! Finally the office manager Brenda calls me and tells me the balance is from last year! But my balance from last year was $36 which was paid and at the end of 2023 I had a zero balance and my appointment this was was February 2024! People do yourself a favor and don’t go to Darwin Dental.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area and was very nervous about finding a new dentist as I have a phobia with having dental work done. I have to say I’m so glad I chose Darwin Family Dental Care! The hygienist and Doctor made me feel more comfortable than any other dental office I’ve been to in the past and that alone means a lot to me. I also felt like the Doctor really cared about my health and smile! The girls at the front desk were very nice also! I recommend giving Darwin Family Dental Care a visit for your future dental care.

I no longer fear the dentist thanks to Tess by far the best dental tech I’ve ever encountered. She should be a dentist. Every step of the process and everything they did was explain to me and they made sure I had a full understanding of everything.. I recommend this to anyone who is in need of a dentist. They are truly above and beyond in every aspect of a dental practice. Their front desk staff, including Krystle and Nikki were very heartwarming, pleasant, and could not be more helpful.

Fantastic experience: Very, very professional operation these guys are running here! Austin the Hygienist was a pro. The dentist was genuine and caring. She asked if I had any questions and was thorough. Receptionist staff was friendly. First time here, and was looking for a new dental home. We found it. Now to schedule the rest of my family. NEW REVIEW, NEW CROWN PROCEDURE: So at my last cleaning appointment back in September 2023 it was determined I needed a crown. My first one. I finally got it scheduled first week of December. I was nervous and I hadn't had major dental surgery since I was 21 with fully impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Winsett was fantastic! Her bedside manner was great, since I wasn't an easy patient. Her assistant, Adreena, was also very calming. The temporary was put on and I returned in a couple of weeks for the permanent. The assistant this time was Nayeli and she was great! Dr. Winsett installed the new crown and I'm back to my old self again. They took great care to make sure everything fit perfectly. I don't care if my insurance changes, I'm not going anywhere. My doctor relationships are very important to me and they've earned my trust. Thank you for your professionalism!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth abscess, that I had to deal with for 11 days before I could get into the dentist because I had to finish antibiotics first. A very miserable Thanksgiving. And I get deep anxiety when I go to the dentist The day after I finish my antibiotics I called Darwin explained what was going on, they got me in within two hours after the call, and I Left there with only soreness from having the tooth extracted Versus the stabbing pain that I had for two weeks. Dr. Amy was amazing, and her assistant Penny was just as amazing; Made sure I was comfortable and not scared and stayed with me through the whole process. Thank you Darwin family dental care.
