Dr. Feehan (Justin) is just one of those professionals where you feel safe and know that you’re being taken care of by someone who cares. Cannot recommend highly enough. The entire staff just puts you at ease as soon as you walk through the door…and this is coming from a person who has a general disdain for almost everyone and everything.

Fantastic experience: I have never been to the dentist and came away feeling like it was a pleasant spa experience until today; and I had a cleaning and a 3D cap within 2.5 hours. Would highly recommend this dentist, (Dr. Omar Garada ), the dental practice’s technology, environment, and bedside manner! I felt no pain, was comfortable and affirmed throughout the procedures.

Fantastic experience: The dentist, Dr. Minutella was quite knowledgeable and listened carefully when I explained the problem I was having. He gave me a plan for the next two weeks; very helpful. Also, the nurse who was with me in the beginning was knowledgeable and listened to my story. Both doctor and nurse really friendly and welcoming. 4/19/23 Dr. Omar has been very kind and knowledgeable about my dry mouth problem. He gave me instructions and encouragement along the way to recovery, and this was a big help. The entire staff is first class! Highly recommend BlueRidge Dental. Dr. Omar has been great in helping me with dry mouth and TMJ. He’s also been great with regular dental care. The entire staff has been knowledgeable and fun to be around. 10/2/25 Dr. Omar saw my husband(has mild simentia) for the first time today. Andy, my husband, has a broken tooth. Summer, Karen, and Dr. Omar were great, setting us up for tooth removal with a surgeon. We were also given a prescription for antibiotics if Andy has any pain. Excellent care!

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of very talented and articulate young dentists and hygienists that work here. They do excellent work and are very polite and attentive to patients. They take the time to explain the state of your teeth and options for care to you at just the right level of detail. It feels rare to have complete care and great staff in a clinic these days. Fantastic experience: I am a new patient to BRD and so glad I made the change. The staff and Justin are wonderful. Very much patient centered, asking about any issues and answering all my questions. When I was researching the dentists in the area, all have 5 to 6 month waiting time for first or following appointments. I guess thats the supply and demand around here. But I developed an issue with one of my molars, they saw me within a week when someone else canceled. The best dental office in Charlottesville from my experience.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Blue Ridge Dental! They worked me into their schedule as a new patient on the same day when I had broken a front tooth. Everyone was friendly, courteous and understanding of my problem. I was very impressed with Dr. Justin Feehan, the dentist who assessed my situation and proposed a treatment plan. I quickly felt at ease with he and his gentle and patient assistant. That's saying a lot for me as I've been fearful of dentistry since childhood. (Follow-up Review) Once again Dr Feehan and Blue Ridge Dental have come to my rescue. I called the office at 8 a.m. yesterday complaining of pain following a procedure that had been done weeks earlier. By 3 p.m. Dr. Feehan was examining me and by 3:20 he had fixed my very routine complication. He is my hero! I'm no spring chicken and I've had seen a lot of dentists in my lifetime and had a lot of procedures done. Blue Ridge Dental is far and away the best practice I've ever found! Posting again several years later. Blue Ridge Dental still rates 5 stars in my opinion! The office is clean and quiet with a staff that is friendly, courteous and efficient.

Negative experience: I have been at this place for over 5 years. I went for my annual visit and was told that they no longer take my insurance. The hygiene that cleaned my teeth told me that it is covered this time, but the next visit I would have to pay the difference. I went to check out and the front desk person told me my balance and I shared with her what the hygiene said. The front desk person said that they will submit the claim to my insurance which still comes out of my pocket. I'm very disappointed of the communication and process. I would've canceled my appointment if I knew that my insurance would not covered my cleaning.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and I was really pleased with the friendliness, efficiency and professionalism of this practice. Marlena, the hygienist who took care of me was great. She explained what she was doing and why and was painless. Unlike almost every other dentist I have to, They did not keep me waiting for the dentist to do his exam. All in all, I was very pleased and highly recommend Blue Ridge Dental.

Negative experience: Wow! What a great experience! Great staff, great service all the way around! Thank you all for the comfortable visit! Having to edit this to let them know the chipped tooth only lasted 3 months…. Extremely disappointed :-/

Negative experience: Highly suggest you choose another dentist. I paid 3000$ cash for RCT and Crown. He left a piece of metal from a tool that broke “in replace of the root”. It’s not even where the root should be, it’s hurt everyday for 2 years. I went back and they charged me for following appointments and told me the tooth is fractured. The tooth is not fractured, but it is infected and has been for a while. I asked for medication to assist with the pain and they stated I was “drug seeking”. I’ve been in pain everyday since, taking ibuprofen and Tylenol both everyday which can’t be good for my liver and kidneys. Insurance won’t pay for a rct redo. Multiple dentists have suggested calling and seeing what blue ridge will do. I called multiple times with no return call or response. I was a pt for years before this. Considering I paid 3000 cash you would think they’d assist on their mistake. I’ve cried almost every day since. It’s bad for my dental hygiene along with my mental health and confidence. I just want help to fix it. :( Rachel Grant

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient since 2012- this office is at max capacity. Emailed the beginning of June and they can see me in Mid October for a cleaning? However- they have appointments available for new patients They have multiple offices??? Service your patients that are in need before accepting new ones. 4 months out

Negative experience: I love this dental practice!! Dr. Feehan and his staff are wonderful and professional people!! On yesterday, 23 May 24 I had my second appointment to get a tooth filled. Dr. Feehan and his assistant did a great job in taking care of my problem!! I had to have 2 needles to numb the area where the filling needed to be placed!! I don't like needles! I hollered out and jumped with the 1st shot and had to get a 2nd shot!! This was the most painful part of my experience on yesterday but I made it through!! I want to tell Dr. Feehan and his staff that my mouth feels good after the experience I had on yesterday!! I have no more pain and discomfort in this area that you repaired!!! Your office was very busy on yesterday but I didn't loose my patience in waiting to get the work done on my teeth!! Keep providing great and professional service to everyone!! I will definitely recommend your practice to anyone that is in needed of dental services!! Thanks for you Dr. Feehan and your staff for taking good care of my dental needs. I changed my rating to a 1 star because this dentist wouldn't accept my insurance so therefore I had to find a new dentist who would accept my insurance!! This practice has changed and it's all about the money and not dental care for customers!!!!

And, with their digital scanning and crown manufacturing done on site, crowns can be created and installed in one visit. Fantastic! My consultation and exam were very thorough. My treatment plan and cost associated were very detailed and easy to understand. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Blue Ridge Dental for many years and have been very pleased with the care I have received. Dr. Minutella is an excellent dentist, personable and professional. He explains the problem and solution and takes care of it. I have had teeth extracted and have had bone loss with gum issues. Kim, my hygienist, is absolutely fabulous. Not only is she super friendly and kind but she gives a great cleaning. The stains on my teeth are gone after she cleans and scrapes. No pain at all. She takes extra care and is very thorough. I highly recommend her as a great, knowledgeable hygienist. She truly cares about her patients.

Fantastic experience: Am new to area and looked online to find new dentist. Saw great reviews and the practice accepted my insurance so contacted them to set up an appointment. I had two root canals performed very recently and was looking to get crowns. They immediately got me in. I saw Dr. Feehan, who was fantastic. Very upbeat and always concerned about how I was doing throughout procedure. Dr. Feehan makes the crowns in office, so no temporary crown and coming back later for when crowns come back in from a lab. The crowns are great. Amber assisted him and was extremely kind and professional as well. I have not been good with keeping my teeth in good shape, so am always apprehensive and embarassed about going to the dentist. They took exceptional care of me, and were able to get me in quickly for a followup for cleaning and maintenance to get my mouth back in shape. I feel very comfortable and confident about returning for regular visits, which is something I could not always say for dentists I have had in the past. For people out there like me, who are worried about going in to see the dentist, this practice will allay your fears and make you feel good about going. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr Omar is amazing! I’m here for work and was having problems with a cavity filled by my home dentist. He identified the problem and had it fixed within a week, when my home dentist couldn’t do this. Very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was in tooth pain for weeks and this place righted me in about 45 minutes and I’m so thankful. Put me right at ease. I would definitely recommend coming here the staff is amazing as well. Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I've ever been to and I'll tell you why. The facility is clean and well maintained, the staff are professional and friendly, and the care is patient focused. I've never felt pressured into unnecessary or overpriced treatments and I've always been able to get an appointment in a timely manner when I needed one. The staff is really efficient and respectful of my time, but I've also never felt rushed through an appointment. I wanted to especially shout out Dr. Justin Feehan who is hands down one of the best doctors I've ever had. He's extremely good at the work he does and goes above and beyond to ensure his patients are comfortable. Not only that, he explains exactly the rationale behind the care decisions he makes - he does this in a way that patients can understand without using too much jargon but also with the assumption that the patient is smart enough to follow the thread of what he's saying. I've had so many medical providers talk down to me or gloss over important details related to my care and why they were making certain decisions because they either assumed I wouldn't understand or didn't want to take the time to explain it to me. Dr. Justin talks to me with respect and gives me agency in my healthcare decisions by laying out all of my options and making sure I understand.

Fantastic experience: I was having severe jaw pain. The dentist who replaced my dentist who retired, doesn't even work on Fridays. I Googled emergency dentists and Blue Ridge Dental was listed as working to get all emergencies in on the same day. I woke up at 6:45 with such severe pain I couldn't go back to sleep. I left a message for Blue Ridge Dental hoping they would call me back sometime after they opened. They open at 8:00 and they called me back at 8:01 and told me I could come immediately. Both the assistant and the dentist were pleasant and helpful and diagnosed my problem for me. My visit was so positive that I signed on with them as a regular patient.

Want a dentist that will really be thorough and work with me on a treatment plan that is realistic given my tooth damage from having radiation. First off, Crystal listened to my concerns and I was able to be scheduled with Dr. Minutella within a week from my call. My dental assistant and the hygienist were lovely caring ladies. Dr. M was very attentive ,professional, and thorough. He listened to my story and concerns and he picked up on a cavity that my other dentist missed only 1 month ago. Will write a follow up review after my next visit. Thank you Blue Ridge Dental. Update: have had fillings and cosmetic repair to teeth and am happy to say Dr. Nick M. did a wonderful job. Process was painless. Also have had 2 cleanings one with Marina today and Dr. Justin checked my teeth. He is also very pleasant and thorough. Have recommended this practice to other friends.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to C-ville and could not get an appointment that matched my schedule back in NOVA and couldn't find a dentist here either. I was able to get an appt at BRD for what I thought was a broken tooth. It turned out to be a minor chip and after explaining my dentist situation, BRD was able do my xrays and a quick cleaning. I am so relieved to have found a good dentist finally!

Fantastic experience: Everyone there was very helpful and kind! Dr. Feehan did an incredible job removing and replacing a broken crown that I had! He was able to remove my broken crown and replace it with a new one in less than two hours. I am thrilled to have him as my dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Blue Ridge Dental in Charlottesville! The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. My dental cleaning was thorough, and the hygienist made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. They were professional and explained things clearly. Overall, I’m very happy with the care I received and would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Everyone today was so wonderful with our toddler who refuses to let us brush his teeth. They had all kinds of tricks and were very experienced with children. Dr. Omar was very helpful. And our kiddo loved the toy prize at the end!

Fantastic experience: I was in for my 6 month checkup and cleaning. The hygienist, Kim, is the best. Very engaging and forthright with answers to questions. But the main thing about this person is that she obviously likes her job, knows her business and is super proficient with the most modern equipment. Very thorough and gentle. Dr Nick, the dentist, is very professional and obviously keen on detail and having my interest in keeping teeth in my jaws healthy for the rest of my life!

Fantastic experience: If I could give Dr Feehan and his staff Amber, Crystal and Karen 10 + stars I would!! My own wonderful dentist Dr Buckwalter who was away recommended him and I couldn't be happier!! I had an emergency crown that broke and needed to be fixed asap as I was leaving to go out of town the next day! Not only was each staff member as well as Dr Feehan caring and kind but he was able to repair my tooth and give me a new and more beautiful crown by noon that day! My experience was extraordinary and amazing and I am very grateful for the expert service he provided! Thank You!!!

Fantastic experience: My first hit-or-miss visit to Blue Ridge Dental was a hit — a home run, in fact. The staff were all friendly and efficient. And Dr. Omar gave me all the information I needed to decide on a way forward with regard to a bridge for a missing incisor. I would definitely recommend Blue Ridge to others like myself who are shooting in the dark and looking for the best dental work in Charlottesville. TWO YEARS LATER: I’m back! At Blue Ridge, of course. And what a pleasure to see Dr. Omar again. Once again, he described expertly and compassionately my options for a partial denture. I feel I have all the information I need to make my decision. Blue Ridge is now my permanent dentist. I am no longer “shooting in the dark.” TWO MORE YEARS LATER: Delighted with my denture but worried about losing any more teeth, I turned again to Dr. Omar and Blue Ridge for a game plan. Dr. Omar explained all my options and their costs -- again expertly and compassionately. I'm so glad I have Blue Ridge to lean on. MAY 2024: You won't be surprised that I am delighted with the denture Dr. Omar fashioned for me a few months ago. So delighted that I asked him to map out a game plan to save all my teeth for the long-term. A couple of months ago he performed a root canal and attached a crown to a tooth which otherwise would have had to be extracted. Today, two fillings. After today's session, I scheduled two more fillings. I'm almost looking forward to my next appointment! AUGUST 2024: Never have two fillings been more enjoyable. And painless.
