Fantastic experience: Don’t worry they are absolutely fantastic here!

Fantastic experience: I hate the dentist but this is the best office I have ever been to. The staff is very caring and I love Dr. Marte. The office culture seems great and her team lives up to their motto of providing the best dental knowledge and care. Lorna was great as my hygienist. As a new mom, it’s hard to prioritize my health. Dr. Marte is like a good friend or compassionate sister by reminding me not to be too hard on myself and that hormones can be crazy with gums having more inflammation. She treats every patient uniquely: “your teeth is as unique as your fingerprints.” Every visit is always thorough and they provide specialty toothpaste mouthwashes for your circumstance. Always a sign of relief leaving here since I know I am in good hands. I even convinced my husband to come here and he has no regrets. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I told them I suffer from anxiety. The staff, dentist were wonderful. That was my 1st visit. Today, was check up. The tech was awesome. I had to get deep cleaning she made sure I was comfortable. She was kind and thorough.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my first visit, only concern is the wait time. They have a lot of hygienist & one dentist. It is a professional setting. Very clean & state of the art equipment. My hygienist Mary was superb, I highly recommend her. She explains everything she is doing. They go over your bill & what insurance covers before starting so there are no surprises. My insurance @Unitedhealthcare, does NOT COVER ORAL CANCER SCREENINGS!! This is mind blowing so that was the only exam I had to pay for. The dentist Dr. Marte was delightful, she goes over your health history & medication lists. She made recommendations I had never had before, for my dry mouth & excess need for water intake. I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs. I left with a bag full of goodies including a gum scraper.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing dental practice. Ashley was fantastic at keeping a 9 yr old comfortable and informed while getting his teeth cleaned, X-rays and sealants. He actually said he learned a lot about teeth. The Dentist was just as kind and patient in addressing him as was Ashley. Their office is spotlessly clean and well organized. I’m immensely impressed. Forward to 2 years later - still a professional and caring provider. We’ve never had any issues - just open honest communication with our families best interest at heart. We are not going anywhere else! 2 more years later and still such friendly and professional hygienist and thorough Dentist! They both spent time with us giving us education, advice and orthodontist treatments as that’s where my now 13 year old requires!

Fantastic experience: Who says going to the dentist has to be horrible? Once you have been to Waterford Lakes Dental, you will forget other dentists exist. Everyone is friendly and greets you whether you are there to see them or not. My hygienist, Linda, is outstanding. She is compassionate, patient, and excellent at her job, all while having the most pleasant disposition. Dr. Marte is so gentle and caring. Why go anywhere else?

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for approximately 2-years and have had a very positive experience. Hygienists have always been on-time for appointments and very professional. The care has always been thorough and careful. I never feel rushed. The treatment plans and recommendations are great and on point. Very happy here with no reason to change dental offices. After realizing my husband was seeing another dentist, I recommended he stop and come here instead since they were more honest with their services and compassionate in their care. Never felt over-charged or up sold on anything. Great Dental team.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. No wait time. Office staff very friendly. My Dental Hygenist/technician was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She explained each step of her procedure and answered questions. Two weeks earlier my husband had his first visit. He had some mobility challenges. The technician was patient and also professional and knowledgeable. She made sure Dr. Sarte was aware of concerns we had and they made every effort to accommodate my husband, as well as things we could do to make his next visit easier with regards to his mobility issues. The staff seems to work as a team. I like how the technicians communicate with Dr. Sarte during their procedures so that there is no wait time from when they finish and Dr. Sarte is needed to complete the treatment. Only thing I wish they had is a way that a patient could have a report or analysis of the teeth that were doing fine and ones having trouble, to be reminded once they went home how consistently they needed to take care of their teeth, as well as I would highly recommend Waterford Lakes Dental to anyone.

Fantastic experience: A dental hygienist that goes the extra mile. Mariangel is real and cares about her job and her patients. This lady will serve you right, pays attention and will serve you well. Fantastic experience: First impressions are key to me! Josephine greeted me so nicely. I started off telling her about my past experience at another location where they traumatized me leading me to have fear of dentist when they numb my teeth. She reassured made me feel relaxed and comfortable to move forward. The whole ambience of the office feels homely. I can’t wait to see the great work they will perform on me! She told me about my options for Invisalign. I’ve been dying to get these teeth straight since high school just never could afford it, but I know in m heart that this is the place for me just because of the kindness and respect that was provided through Josephine’s legendary customer service. Staff is very patient while doing your dental exam. They explain where you are with your dental treatment and give you ideas, or a plan for better dental hygiene. Dr. Marte shows care and concern, very professional!

Positive experience: I scheduled an appointment for a regular check up and cleaning. It has been over a year but I have had otherwise a fairly good dental history. The staff was very nice. However, after the exam they proceeded to tell me the care/treatment plan. When I walked in the receptionist said my copay would be $45. Fine no problem. Before they did the cleaning, they claimed I didn't have gingivitis but wanted to give me antibiotics. Then they proceeded to show me the "treatment plan" and claimed it would be $648 for today's visit. I said no. They said the insurance didn't pay for antibiotics. I said well I am not paying $648. They said well I don't know what you want to do. I said find another dentist. I came in for a cleaning which was stated would be a $45 copay. There was no negotiation and I ended up leaving. So now I have the exam but no cleaning and my insurance won't pay for a second exam somewhere else. Unbelievable how they would take advantage and try to upcharge a patient. I will look at going back to my previous dentist even though I have to drive further. Unacceptable for a health practice.

Fantastic experience: What would I do without Waterford Lakes Dental? My crown came off and they were able to make me a temporary crown until is new permanent one could be made. Thanks to Dr Marte and Luz. They are very professional, virtually painless, and do a great job.

Negative experience: I had an appointment for my mother they gave me 12, just to call a couple days before her appointment to inform me that “I scheduled my appt during their lunchtime.” No ma’am you scheduled my appt during your lunch and you should honor the appt I’ve been waiting for all this time. I inform them I prefer morning appts as my mom is elderly and depends on me to take her to her appts they say all they have is a 3 pm! You wait till the last minute to cancel the appt you messed up and then leave us with no choice! HORRIBLE BUSINESS NOT PROFESSIONAL FIND ANOTHER DENTIST THIS ONE DOES NOT HAVE THEIR ACT TOGETHER!

Fantastic experience: I had appointments with doctor Belknap about pre-Cancer in my mouth. She told me my options and they were gone. I had a feeling great about my experience.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, treated me with respect answered any questions I had. Made my experience comfortable. They where also very gentle with the mouth exams.

Negative experience: After having a bad experience at another "corporate dentist office", I called this office back in February to see if they would agree to providing me with a standard cleaning and not insist upon the deep cleaning.I explained to them that I take very good care of my teeth and that I only need a check-up and a standard cleaning. I stressed very vehemently that I am not willing to pay for a "deep cleaning", and that if they aren't willing to provide that, I understand, but please don't waste my time, or yours. They said that they would be happy to do that, so I made the appointment for 3/4/25. They completed x-rays and the exam and told me that my insurance required pre-authorization and it would take a couple weeks. I hadn't heard anything, so on Monday (3/31/25), almost a month after my initial appointment, I called my insurance co. They indicated that they had no such pre-authorization request and that it is not required for dental procedures. I called the office and told them what I had found out. Long story short, the girl tried her best to make excuses, but she failed miserably and said she would follow-up after she talked to my insurance co. She called me back today and told me that my insurance will not pay for a "deep cleaning", so I would have to pay the full amount myself. I reminded her that I only want a standard cleaning, which is a covered procedure. She said they would only do the deep cleaning and basically, if I wouldn't agree to that, they would not be able to help me and that I should look for a different dentist. I have learned my lesson the hard way, if you choose to go to a corporate dentist, know that they only care about one thing and only one thing, $$$. This office is not only arrogant, they are incompetent at filing accurate insurance paperwork. Arrogance and incompetence is a horribly destructive combination. Deep cleaning likely has a very high profit margin and they could not care less about providing what the patient desires. I did my best to avoid this by being upfront in the beginning, but I guess they figure that once they get you in the door, they will be able to convince you to pay for what they are pushing. My search for a dentist office that cares about something other than profit continues....

My mom has been seeing Dr. Marte for years and raved about how much she loved her and the staff. Over a year ago I decided to switch dentist. I have never been happier. I have never been to a dentist I have been excited to see. Dr Marte and her staff feels like you’re hanging out with friends. I laugh...I chat...you can exchange traveling ideas...good restaurants, etc. There all so down to earth. They laugh at all my corny jokes. Plus the work they do is amazing. I call them my miracle workers. Dr Elizabeth Marte has a gift and the staff is very gentle. I look forward to seeing them again. I recommend this place to everyone wholeheartedly. 2/25/25 - I have been wanting to add more reviews since I have been seeing Dr. Magical Hands Marte. I can’t tell you enough how all these years later I still love this practice. I love the staff and how welcoming and compassionate they are. Dr Marte immediately puts you at ease as soon as she enters the cubicle. She can do things and fix my teeth in a way where other dentists could not. I would leave in pain or not having my problem resolved. I am so excited that one technician Ana, has become dental hygienist. I have avoided cleanings because I had a bad experience years ago. Ana was not only sweet but very gentle. I was blown away by how different this experience was. The dental assistant Claudia is just awesome!! She is always friendly, always has a kind word to say. Makes me laugh. The whole staff is just incredible!! I never had a dentist I look forward to seeing. In the past I never thought I ever would be able to say that. They have greatly helped eliminated my anxiety/fear of going to the dentist. Thank you so much and I look forward to my next visit next month.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this office since 2020 and have always had a great experience. The staff is very kind and thorough, and make you feel like they care about you as an individual and not a dollar sign like other offices I’ve gone to. I especially want to shout out Keirstn at the front desk for always remembering my partner and I, and going out of her way to help me update my info with the office when I was updating my name legally. It’s the small interactions that matter the most, and as someone who used to work in healthcare, I know it’s not always easy to add those small touches of personalization when you see so many people a day. Definitely recommend Dr. Marte and her team!

Negative experience: I am writing this review with the hope that Dr. Marte would be made aware of how unsatisfying it has been to attend her practice lately. I have been going to her practice for a couple of yrs now and the first time I went, I stayed because the hygienist was great. Once she moved to the new location, I have had 3 diff hygienist none of which were great. The last lady rushed through my cleaning and only flossed the top teeth and I was wet multiple times. I do not give them neg reviews as I do mot like to impact anyone’s job. But the main reason for the review is that they include additional or non covered services and then charge you at the end. Common practice is to say this service is not covered by your insurance, would you like to do it and this is the cost. They do not know ppl’s pockets and this is very unprofessional to do. I understand you want to make money but you are also providing a service. I have referred 2 patients to them and both had the same issue. Needless to say we will not be returning. Very unfortunate! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: 110--Orofacial Surgery & Implant Dentistry Dr. Zakir A Shaikh is very informative but also very professional with a great bedside manner. He explained in detail and answered all of our questions. I'll be adding a pic of one of the nurses, she's amazing and very helpful. The Dr. and this nurse made my son and myself very comfortable and this will definitely be where we go for any major work needed in the future. They also beat two quotes by $1,000, that's huge in these times. Thank you guys for being awesome.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly happy to find Dr. Marte and the amazing team at Waterford Lakes Dental. First dentist office I have been 100% happy with since moving to Florida 22 rears ago. Dr. Marte was able to do my surgery (pulling a cracked tooth and bone graft) right there in the office. So grateful not to have to go to multiple practices for this!!! It seems that most dentists only to cleanings and basic fillings - then send you elsewhere for anything more. They were also very flexible and scheduling my surgery and my cleanings and everyone there is so nice and friendly. I don’t ever remember laughing so hard at a doctor or dentist office. This group is the seventh Dental practice I’ve been to since moving to Florida - and, I’m so relieved to say, the last. I’ve already recommended them to my daughter’s and will continue to recommend to anyone else that isn’t extremely happy with their dentist.

Fantastic experience: It was like a spay day, I felt very special and confident. The front desk staff, Doctor and technician took excellent care of me.Very clean and friendly environment. They have a good payment plan. The staff were very patient and helpful.

Fantastic experience: This is probably my 6-7 time at Waterford Lakes Dental and it’s always a good experience. My hygienist (I think her name was Julie?) was very kind, gentle, explained everything she was doing, and did it pretty fast! Dr Marte is always so pleasant. I had a previous dentist tell me I had a cavity that had to be filled and Dr Marte said it was so tiny that it would be removing more healthy tooth than bad tooth but she’d fill it if I had discomfort. I declined and I’m grateful I have an honest dentist that doesn’t try to do unnecessary work. Front desk is also always nice and I never wait more than ten minutes past my appointment time.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience! I switched over to Waterford Lakes Dental and just had my first appointment. Everyone was so sweet and explained everything (i.e. billing, paperwork, and procedures) so clearly! My hygienist Linda was so fun and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
