I got two teeth pulled and didn't feel a thing and I was amazed at how fast it was! She even followed up with me to make sure I was doing okay or if I had any questions. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Heather White performed a post implant for me two weeks ago and I'm astounded by how well it has gone. My post-op exam was five-stars and I am excited for next April when scans will be taken to fabricate my replacement crown.

Negative experience: I wrote my review out over a month ago and didn’t want to post based on temporary feelings. Since then I have been to the endo where I was informed I had a broken file left in one of my canals, and trying to get past that would be like hitting a cement wall, which was never mentioned to me of course, and also I have another canal that’s curved so they could try but couldn’t promise it would be successful so now I have to get my tooth extracted and look into an implant else where after the beginning of the year since I already maxed out my insurance at your office on a crown I never get to even see. Oh and it’s been over a month and I’ve yet to receivethat refund I was told I would receive. Please do better so no one else has to feel like a test dummy. I have been a patient here for the last 9 years, although I’ve never left a review I have had great experiences and I have had not the best ones I just always come back because I’m comfortable and I don’t really like trying new things especially with doctors and people you’re trusting with your health. I’m giving a 1 star based off my experience 9/24. I have had multiple appointments over the last few weeks. I had a cavity in a lower molar which had a previous large filling in it so it was recommended I get a filling and crown, I was given the disclosure that due to how close my filling was to my nerve I may end up needing a root canal but I wasn’t in pain at the time just had temperature sensitivity so she decided to try without the root canal ( after the crown prep my tooth ached for the following week) I called to see if they could refer me to the endodontist for a root canal since I was just told this the past week that I may need one. They said they needed to see me first, I went in and to my surprise I was told they could do the root canal in the office. I spent over 3 hours in the chair, I was told my nerve was really angry and flooding so they put medicine in it and put my temporary back on and had me come back 6 days later. My temp fell off and I had to go back after 3 days for a new one (shoutout to Dr. Greibnow) it felt better and I wasn’t in pain during that time at all. I went back in today and was in the chair for 3 hours and 15 minutes and it was traumatizing. I kept feeling a sudden shock as my roots were being cleaned out, it was super uncomfortable and nothing like the last root canal I had, I was holding back tears just hoping to get it over with and be done after having to leave work multiple times over the last couple weeks just to be told at 5:15 that they couldn’t finish it because my root is curved and I need to see a specialist. Which I would think would be noted at the beginning from all the X-rays they took if it could be a possible issue. I just feel like I went through all these hours of pain that could have been prevented by just referring me somewhere. I know there’s always a chance but over 6 hours of work and I had to leave and sat in my car bawling because of it is not a good feeling. Now when I bite down at all I have a sharp stabbing pain in my tooth and I’m praying I don’t end up having to have my tooth pulled. I have nothing negative to say about the Dr that worked on me other than she didn’t ask me how I felt of if I had any pain before I was sent on my way I felt like I was rushed off and she was already taking her scrub jacket off as she gave me my referral because it was after 5. Only thing she said is that I’ll get a refund for the part I spent out of pocket in the mail. I have to come back to get my permanent crown put on that’s already paid for (if I get to keep my tooth) but I will definitely not be getting any procedures done here again. I’ve never understood dental anxiety until today. I just hope anybody reading this speaks up and if they can’t figure it out the first day ask for a referral before you are dealing with anxiety. Hopefully yall don’t hate me when I come back to get my crown put on but I had to share my experience because if I could save 1 person from feeling like this I’m happy.

Fantastic experience: Everyone who is employed there are just so nice. My first visit I was welcome and got a tour of the office which is different. My Dentist was very friendly and understanding. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful with helping with payments so I could save money!!

Negative experience: Today’s experience was horrible, both of my daughters were in tears from the pain caused by the hygienist. We had appts at 8 & 9:30 and didn’t get out of there til almost noon. One of my daughters waited 30 min to see the dentist after her cleaning and the other waited an hour after her cleaning was done to see the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I don't think anyone likes the dentist, but, they make you as comfortable as you could be given that fact.

I have always been satisfied with the care and the courtesy they provide. They are a fantastic group of people who take very good care of their patients.

She knows how going to tge dentist is not my favorite thing but she makes me laugh and makes me feel as comfortable as she can. Fantastic experience: First time visit. Very friendly staff. I felt welcome to be there. Place is very clean and modern equipment.

Negative experience: I’ve been trying to find a new dentist since I left Melissa’s office. I can’t find people who do I good job like Melissa’s Office but I just can’t push past the bad experience I had with a receptionist (wish I could remember her name) but I couldn’t even ask for her name because everytime she said something to me it felt passive aggressive and made me feel belittled. I wanna go back but I don’t wanna be treated like that, I’m a legal assistant but I make sure my clients talk to me with a smile and knowing I’m talking to them in the most appropriate way possible. I actually do better at my job because of the bad receptionist experience. I hope the staff now is better and hopefully I can go back soon and change this review some day.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience ever! Staff is friendly, helpful, gentle, and non-judgmental. The prepaid maintenance plan available to those with no insurance is a great way to spread out the payments, but still get you on a no excuses, regular maintenance schedule. As an anxious patient who gets nitrous for EVERY visit, even routine cleaning - I cannot stress (pun intended) enough how easy the doctors and staff of Family and Cosmetic Dentistry make it to get past your fear and get on track for healthy teeth and gums.

Fantastic experience: First time patient yesterday, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly & they gave me a “welcome goody bag.” Lete, Mattison, Dr. Hannah, & Delaney were wonderful and explained everything they did, said, and charted. They started off my visit by giving me a tour of the office and I thought that was unique because most other offices don’t do that. The vibes were definitely there. Can’t wait to go back in July to continue my treatment plan.

I had alot of dental work done an not once was i in any pain.... well the shots.,but other than that I was fine. She's took her time to make sure my dentures fit, an always with a smile. Fantastic experience: Dentists offices are some I wish not to visit, as my teeth have alway given me issues, especially while in military. However, my issues have gotten extreme, and I couldn’t put off making this visit (and more to come). Dr Jerrell’s office, her staff and especially Dr Hannah White, have all been so kind and generous, that it makes me feel more comfortable to visit. With their kindness, im glad to make this decision to pick their office for my procedures and look forward to their professionalism! Definitely a right choice!! Thank you Dr Hannah White!! Update** 12/01/21 - the day I had 18 teeth pulled (due to prior military fillings/which in time came loose, cavities, etc, and overall not worth saving). Had dentures put in right away, and 3.5 months later, gums healed, dentures hardlined to fit comfortably and I couldn’t be more pleased! Let me just say that “all” staff members knew my name, greeted me once inside and made me feel very comfortable. Embarrassed by my bad teeth, to no teeth, Dr Hannah White, Victoria, Kara and Cheyenne all overlooked my embarrassment and made me feel very comfortable! They made me feel like I was part of their family. If you need dental care, Dr Jarrell’s office is the place you need to go!!! Update 4/18/25** I am back again, 3.5 years later with dentures and the ones I bought, are now defective. My bottom dentures are starting to crack, definitely wearing the teeth down to point I need new ones and one tooth on top molar is starting to separate from the gum line. I do need new ones, but my current insurance won’t cover new until after 5 years. So, have to settle for a reline, or send them to “shop” to get repaired until I can afford new ones. Cheyenne remembered me and brought me in for consult. Took 3D pics of dentures, verified with Dr White who as always, very sweet, kind and very generous. After explaining what the out of pocket costs would be, I chose to wait another year n half. The whole staff here always made me feel comfortable, always tentative to my needs and made me feel like family! Whatever your needs are, this office will welcome you with open arms! If you need dental work, there is no other choice! I’m very satisfied with everyone here! Update 5/19/2025 Back in the office for a “reline”, where they add to my dentures to make them fit more snugly. Along with sending them out to their “repair shop” to fix my issues I previously mentioned, will have to do without them until tomorrow. Soft dinner tonight! I forgot to ask Dr White that since there’s “fix-a-dent” to keep dentures in, how bout “Rent-a-Dent”, where you rent a set when yours go to the shop?!. Anyway, I will forever recommend this office and their amazing staff for what they do for us clients! They are about our comfort and smiles!

This time I was seen by Dr. White along with dental assistant Rachel. I had to have a tooth pulled among other thing but they both made me feel so relaxed and at ease. Dr. White followed up with a call the next day to make sure I was OK. Rachel goes above and beyond explaining all details of the visit and aftercare instructions. The whole office is amazing and you can tell that it is genuine and that they care for their patients. That goes a long way and I highly recommend them for all dental needs. This team is awesome and while I can't say I am looking forward to my next visit I will say with certainty that I no longer dread going to the dentist and I have complete confidence that I will be in good hands. So refreshing to see a company that really goes out of their way to make a customers feel like we are their top priority. I can't recommend them enough. Again, no one looks forward to going to the dentist but since it is a necessity, this is the place to go. Well done!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Melissa Jarrell and her team are the absolute best! I have had a lot of trauma with dentists in my childhood. It took me about 8 years as an adult to make it into the dentist. They made me feel comfortable and were very accommodating to my needs as a patient. I haven’t missed a cleaning in over 2 years now because of their hospitality and care. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. Also, Katie is the absolute best!

Fantastic experience: Called the office and was given an appointment very quickly as a new patient. Went in for appointment and was given a tour of the entire facility and what they can do for all of your dentistry needs. Took xrays and spoke with Dr. White and was taken care of extremely well. Loved the entire staff. I can say they honestly care and have compassion for their patients.

Negative experience: Warning BEWARE this DENTIST is not professional when regarding billing issues with your insurance. I had to pay over $371.00 for x-rays and standard cleaning which should have been 100% covered, but I got stuck with the bill for $371.21 because this dentist office took all my insurance information but they obviously never confirmed with my insurance that they actually would cover services. I am retired military and my dental insurance is thru TRICARE FEDERAL AETNA insurance, but this office obviously does not accept this insurance as they are considered out-of-network for AETNA, even though it is federal government dental insurance. If this dental office was completely transparent and professional they would have explained to me initially that they are not in network with AETNA, and that their services would not be covered. I gave them my insurance information three times, but they obviously never contacted AETNA to make sure services would be 100% covered. They of course demand payment, but is it fair? What if I refused to pay on grounds that they were not up front about not being in-network with AETNA FEDERAL INSURANCE??? If they would have just told me up front, then I would have found another dentist and I would have saved $371. I am retired and on a fixed income, something here just doesn't seem right.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very accommodating. Collette did a nice and comfortable job on my cleaning. Dr White helped me with information regarding an oral appliance and cleared up all of my questions. Very nice visit.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous people. Dr White is very compassionate and knowledgeable. The staff is great and very kind. Rachael is a very efficient assistant and kind. I would recommend this practice to anyone.Adding this update to my first review...I could not believe the professionalism and dedication of Dr. White and her staff and all the other staff in the office toward me. I was made to feel like I was the most important person and all my needs were met. If anyone needs a great Dentistry, this is one that should be at the top of the list. Fantastic experience: Family & Cosmetic Dentistry ALWAYS gets 5Stars from me, because I have never had a bad experience, of any kind/type/sort, in all of the years that I have been a patient, there. I have the absolute best Dental Tech, there is. Never once, has she caused me any pain, when cleaning my teeth, and that is a big 5 Star accomplishment, by itself. Dr Jarrell or one of the other Dr’s always comes and does a physical/visual exam of my teeth and gums, and that just adds to the overall experience of being there. Most people hate going to see the Dentist…..but I don’t have that problem. My Dental Tech and the Doctor’s there, make sure of that! Steve Cowan

Positive experience: EDITED REVIEW: Originally gave 1 star (see reason below, from original review). The office contacted me to correct this issue, which I appreciate. 4 stars for the friendliness and care of the staff - everyone we encountered was very professional and pleasant. My only recommendation is to be sure they are in-network with your insurance so that you don’t end up with an unexpected bill, because it can be confusing when the office says “they take all insurances”. The provider we saw was fine in handling my 2.5 yr old for her first “dental” appointment. The problem I have is when I scheduled the appointment, I was told they are in network with my insurance. Only to find out now that they are NOT in network, but “they take my insurance” and now I have $130 bill for a 10 minute appointment for my toddler. This should’ve been made clear upfront when I scheduled because paying $130 to simply get my toddler acclimated to the dentist is ridiculous.
