Fantastic experience: My favorite dentist! When I came to Village Crest I was in my late 20s but my last dentist had made me so scared of dentists. Dr Hillal and her staff are gentle, loving, and genuinely care about there patients. Other than regular discomfort from procedures I have never had painful jaws caused by them. They are so kind and gentle. I’ve had multiple root canals and crowns. Recommend 10/10!!!

I expressed to the hygienist Taylor how bad my anxiety was and she was very kind and compassionate , she talked me through it and with minutes I felt like family. Positive experience: Work was done but upon checking out I was told insurance may not pay for what I had done. This is in complete disreguard that I reminded them not to do anything insurance would not cover. It seems to be no respect to the customer but only for the money.

Fantastic experience: Just moved to the area. I’m very particular about dentists and hygienists. I literally grew up in a dentist office and my mom was a hygienist. This staff from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor were wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and through. They answered all my questions. I think this was the best cleaning I have had in years. I would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I had gone to this dentist office for a few years and although Dr Hilal is a complete professional and great with patients I found the overall experience here disappointing. I had much work done here over the years such as crowns, root canals and other procedures some turning out better than others Recently I had one of my crowns done here that was very expensive fall off. I reached out to the office in somewhat of an emergency situation to be greeted by a scheduling service not even at the actual dental office. Upon explaining my situation in fear of the exposed area getting infected I was told I couldn’t speak to the doctor and the crown being over 3 years old it was past the so called period it was covered by them. In addition even though it was an emergency they couldn’t see me for a week! According to the receptionist service they would attempt to reach the dental hygienist in which I never received a call back leaving me with no option in this situation except for moving on to a new dentist. Not something you want to hear when struggling with pain and suffering from an office you’d spent thousands of dollars at and relied on for care. Bottom line terrible customer service, over priced and sometimes marginal dental work. Not to mention an office that seems too busy to really develop a good relationship with their patients. If you are really looking for a caring and responsive dentist go elsewhere. Highly disappointing experience overall. Reach out to a dentist that you can actually count on as your primary care doctor especially one that is caring enough to have your back in an emergency situation. Update on this review. I recently returned from my new dentist to find the root canal that was done above the broken tooth I explained above was in fact not done correctly and was incomplete. Now I have to go to an endo doctor to have a procedure done to fix that problem before I can fix the broken crown Village Crest stated it was not responsible for. Yet another disappointing outcome from this practice that haunts me years after paying them thousands of dollars to what I thought were repairs on my teeth. Buyer beware! Do your due diligence with this dentist!!!

Negative experience: While the dentists are great, the office have been stealing money. They bill 3-4 times the amount of procedures and when questioned they have to do audits and here we are 4 months later owed 100s of dollars and still can not get my money owed. FRAUD!

Negative experience: In this place they tell you how much the total is to pay, then you pay it and when you return another time they tell you that you have to pay something that you owed from the last appointment. That happened to me several times.

I was in horrible pain and had severe anxiety. They made me feel like they actually cared about me, and took great care of me. Nobody wants to have a tooth pulled. Fantastic experience: I did not see the importance of having straight, aligned teeth at this age; however, at the persistence of Dr. Owens, she educated me on how not having good teeth alignment could trap bacteria between your teeth and cause health problems. I was unaware of the importance of having straight aligned teeth until Dr. Owens explained the benefits of this procedure. I assumed it was just cosmetic. The more I wore the Invisaligns, I began seeing the positive results of this procedure, my teeth were beginning to align. Dr. Owens and her staff was professional and always patient with me while explaining each step as I progressed during my experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this procedure but especially with Dr. Owens and her team. Before Invisaligns, I would never smile showing my teeth, always with my mouth closed; now, I find myself having an open smile, gladly showing my teeth. Negative experience: You guys lost a patient today over a measly $51 I didn't even know I owed. I showed up for my appointment that no one told me was cancelled. No one has ever mailed me a bill for my previous visit. No one has left me a single voicemail about my open balance and you sent it to collections?? I don't care that someone may have tried to call me, in a time where so many phone calls are spam, if I don't know who it is, I don't answer. But not one of your people left a voicemail about this. And your receptionist didn't even seem to care when I paid my balance in office and said I'd have my records sent elsewhere. You guys must be doing extremely well for yourselves. Very unprofessional!

Negative experience: i would give them 0 stars if possible. They told me I needed a periodontal cleaning and it turned out i did not need it at all. They made me pay my portion which was $550 and my insurance refused to pay because they said i absolutely did not need it. Village crest then continued to harass me to pay the other $730 until they finally sent it to collections. I will be sending a complaint into the state board of dentistry. DO NOT GO HERE. FIND A PRIVATE DENTIST THAT WILL NOT TRY TO GET OVER ON YOU LIKE THIS PLACE DOES

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased to have chosen VC for my dental care. (I already had a treatment plan with another dentist office for a root canal that never came, and now 3 months later here I am with an emergent need to be seen.) Teeth cannot be put on the back burner especially if you’re in pain. A friend of mine goes here so I was able to get in first thing this morning at 8am and had my root canal done and a cavity filled on the spot like it should be when you have a true dental emergency! Dr. Halil was a breath of fresh air and just a down to earth lovely woman. She told me I was a couple days away from losing that tooth so I’m glad I trusted my gut to just go ahead and move on to a dentist that actually cared and had the best interest of my teeth at heart. I have some dental anxiety but I did great with the nitrous and I’m in minimal pain right now. The root canal itself was not painful. This was my first one and it truly isn’t as bad as people make it seem. I will forever be grateful to VC for getting me in so quickly and performing the root canal for me. Ethical dentists are very hard to come by these days! I look forward to continuing my journey and getting my teeth in tip top shape. Thank you Dr. Halil & April!
