Fantastic experience: Best dentist office ever. They are very nice and do a great job and take their time with cleanings, X-rays, and suggest how many times you should get cleanings each year based on your own mouth. In addition, they had parking which is a huge plus! I suggest anyone who is looking for a dentist that is 5 stars each dentist and hygienist are extremely careful their time and each one is extremely qualified

Fantastic experience: Another great visit at SBDG. The new location is amazing! Front desk is always professional, polite and welcoming. I was signed in by Sarah who is just wonderful. I had a short waiting period before being called in by a great dental professional named Iris. She was very consistent in professionalism that I’ve come to expect at SBDG. Dr. Osorio followed up as usual to review and ensure all is going well and offer support, correction and advice. I received some dental supplies, instructed on usage and the importance of adhering to the recommendation to improve upon my at home dental processes. Great Experience! Thank you , SBDG.

Fantastic experience: I am 65 years old And have had many dental hygienists over the years As far as I am concerned, Jaquie is the best Since I moved away from Boston six years ago I sometimes travel two hours to see her every three months The dentist, Dr Osorio is also amazing I highly recommend this office It just doesn’t get any better as far as I am concerned Also, the new Office Space is spectacular Metered parking is so easy to find in the area. The walk is a pleasant 10 minutes from the Broadway T station

My wisdom teeth was impacting my molars causing severe pain and they saw me right away. the technician and doctor were very professional and answered all my concerns and questions and I’m scheduled for a wisdom extraction. They are quick and professional and their office is bright and clean despite it being a hub of activity. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Just had my first adventure to your NEW DIGS , (no pun intended). The office is beautiful and pristine. The architecture of the building is so cool. I feel as though I have entered a new futuristic level of dentistry. As usual everyone was nice, and I had a great cleaning with Chris. Will be sure to stay on top of my dental care. Only fall back is the parking but will get used to it. Can highly recommend South Boston Dental Group!!

Fantastic experience: I'm not the biggest baby but they were very gentle and thorough Each time I had a consult I had an expert in the field of implants,endo,perio etc All the candy smoking drugs and coffee didn't help and I had old time immigrants who had no dental or teeth raise me so the brushing wasn't up there. I just recently had a cleaning and I needed a tooth pulled immediately It was easy for pulling the novacaine only was uncomfortable on the pallet . I saw the tooth and let me tell you I got it before infection I dodged that bullet. I just want to thank you guys and I love the new digs

Fantastic experience: Dr. Barber, is the best! No one can compare in our opinion. My husband and I speak so highly of him all of the time as his work is consistency and excellent and just very personable. The lovely receptionist, who greeted me today, was so pleasant and assured me that Dr. Barber would be alerted that I had arrived. The wait was not long at all. Today's experience with Dr. Barber is an example of my above statement...he is the best. I needed to have a crown recapped. He spent the time needed to be assured that the crown was set in correctly and made adjustments as needed. His assistant Suzanne is also very professional and she and Dr. Barber worked as a team to make sure all was well before setting me on my way. Thank you to the schedulers who got me a quick appointment and huge thank you to Dr. Barber. My husband and I are very lucky to have his as our dentist.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with this clinic. I had specifically booked an appointment with a certain doctor, but when I arrived, I was assigned to someone else without any prior notice or explanation. I waited for over an hour and eventually decided to leave, as the procedure I was scheduled for still had not started. What stood out most was the lack of communication and the clear disregard for my time. No one offered a genuine apology. Ironically, the clinic enforces strict policies if a patient is late, which felt one-sided given how this was handled. I have canceled all future appointments and will not be returning.

Positive experience: Great location, can be hard to find parking at time, but there is a paid garage nearby. Facility is super clean and opened, but acoustic is lacking as you can hear everything happening at the next dental stations. Overall I had a good experience and I like my dentist there. He’s the reason why I go to this location.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Barber for over 30 years! His office has very little turnover; each person has a great sense of pride in providing the best service. The front office has always been very well run ensuring minimal wait times for patients. Dr. Barber takes great pride in his work - i have moved from South Boston to the South Shore and now to Rhode Island and still remain with him!

Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety about dental work stemming from a phobia of suffocating, which makes dental visits very difficult and stressful. Dr. Osorio and his team are totally empathetic and make me feel completely comfortable. They are very patient and let me pause and sit up whenever I need to and take the time to walk me through the procedure and answer all my questions. They are also very kind and treat me respectfully. I highly recommend them, especially to those who are anxious about dental work.

Negative experience: Scammy billing practices. Mistakenly filed my insurance claims wrong multiple times and then kept saying they would get back to me and never did after I tried to contact them multiple times. A year later I get a bill for almost $2000. Would not recommend to anyone.

I have been a patient there for decades and am always impressed by their meticulous record-keeping, professionalism, and welcoming staff. My hygienist, Jackie, is a joy and always ensures that my teeth are cleaned well, alerts me to any issues (luckily, not many), and provides useful advice and instructions for maintaining my oral hygiene program. Whenever I have had an emergency, even on weekends, Osorio's staff has been responsive and have gone out of their way to get the problem(s) resolved as quickly as possible. I am and will remain a loyal patient!

All the dentists on staff are super knowledgeable and were able to call out my previous dentist's mistaken (or intentional) assertion that I'd need my wisdom teeth removed due to cavities, when in reality, they were decay free. The hygienist who I work with (I believe her name is Iris) is lovely and her cleanings are pain free. Happy to have switched to SBDG

Fantastic experience: South Boston Dental is the BEST! I went back for a routine cleaning to their new office and was very impressed. Modern, beautiful and still the same great staff. This was a follow-up to my last visit a year ago in which Dr. Barber, Dr. Karapanou overcame a difficult issue that with the aid of in house high tech equipment (cat scan) and an impressive team identified the root problem (no pun intended) and with both a root canal and crown resolved the issue. I have used South Boston Dental for decades and recommend them highly.

Positive experience: I visited SBDA this past week to have my situation evaluated. Over thr last weekend, I had a portion of a tooth, & a filling fall out. Dr. Barber did a wonderful job rebuilding said tooth with dental bonding. I was very satisfied with the result.

No more in town traffic to deal with and street parking only cost $7.85 as opposed to $26. Staff are friendly and helpful. New dentist and hygienist were efficient and answered all my questions.

Fantastic experience: Osorio Dental Group has provided me with all my dental care for many years, decades in fact. Without exception, the care has been of the highest quality in every respect, from the skill in addressing issues with my aging teeth, both routine and more complicated, to the very friendly and accommodating attitude of the staff. Great care (above and beyond) is taken to make the procedures as comfortable as possible, and visits are scheduled at convenient times for me. It is clear all professionals who have treated me over the decades have been chosen for their high level of skill and caring nature and the staff for their positive and helpful attitudes.. I write very, very few reviews (some far different from this one) but am pleased to pass on my very positive experience with this practice.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend S. Boston Dental Group! Right after Christmas, I cracked a tooth biting into what I thought was a pitless date. Most dentists were closed until Monday, but S. Boston Dental Group was open. I called and explained my situation, and they kindly scheduled me to see a dentist that same morning. The staff were friendly and professional, and Dr. Osorio saw me right away. When I thanked him for accommodating me so quickly, he explained that their team of seven dentists allows them to handle emergencies effectively. I was so impressed with their care and efficiency that I’ve now switched all my dental care to S. Boston Dental Group.

He takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. And Erika is the best hygienist She is so thorough and careful. After a few visits, she'll know more about your teeth than you do. I wouldn't go to anyone else. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They're the reason I have no issues with my teeth. Great place. But get there a little early for your appointment. Parking can be tricky.

Been going here for years since it was originally Watkin-Osorio Dental - cleaning, filling, Invisalign and the service has been terrific. Great staff, hygienists and dentists. Always coverage for appointments, follow-ups and urgent visits. It has been as pleasant an experience as a dentist visit can be.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Osorio has been great to have as a prosthodontist for over 30yrs. He recently did my whole upper mouth bridge work and it looks and feels amazing. I have always felt he has my best interest in my health and teeth. He is also never to busy to ask how my family is doing. I would highly recommend Dr. O. I had a great cleaning by the hygienest today 11/5/24. Very professional.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Osorio Dental (now called South Boston Dental) for the past 23 years. I am a fan of Dr. Hinenoya who has filled many cavities and installed several crowns for me, all quite expertly and painlessly and all held up well through the test of time! South Boston Dental also has the best line-up of hygienists- Patty is wonderful but due to a scheduling conflict, Chris did my last cleaning and I was very happy with her as well! My only complaint is that the new South Boston location is not as convenient for me as the old Post Office Square location but it is worth the extra 10 minute walk .
