Negative experience: Dr. Pinney did a dental implant on me 7 years ago. I had four previous dental implants done in Florida back in 1999 with no problems with them for 27 years... But with Dr. Pinney's implant the crown came off after 7 years while eating. I had to literally beg for an appointment to have it recemented back on the post. During the time the crown was off I received a nasty infection that Dr. Pinney would not prescribe any antibiotic till after I suffered for a week and then had to beg for that. Because of Dr. Pinney's negligence and Non-Commitment in looking after his patients correctly, I spent Thanksgiving sipping on chicken broth only due to all the pain he left me in. His office staff appears to not have a clue about anything. This is NOT a one-off situation. My family has been seen by Dr. Pinney for 16 years. And in the 16 years we've been seeing him The quality of his work and staff along with their don't care attitude has repeatedly and steadily gone downhill every year to the point where now we feel Dr. Pinney is not competent enough to even do a basic tooth cleaning. There are way better dentists out there. Don't make the same mistake me and my family did by putting Dr. Pinney and his no clue staff in charge of your most important dental needs. Yes, I'm still in pain !!! Best to Avoid !!! 12.15.25

Fantastic experience: So far so good! Had a crown replaced today, piece of cake! I was so deathly scared to begin with, but the assistants and the doctor made an easy task of it all. They put in a temporary till I go back and have a permanent one put in. I was excited to get that awful tooth fixed! I will be back!

Fantastic experience: Jessi, my dental hygienist, greeted me with a most pleasant smile as I walked in and personally walked me back to her work cubicle. She took great care to explain each phase of her protocol and treated me with tender care through each step. DR Penney came in and explained fully his findings and recommendations. Out within an hour and felt that I had been given the best dental care and top notch treatment. Super team!

Fantastic experience: I made my appt. on Monday, a filling had come out , Laurel checked and was able to get me in on Wednesday, early afternoon. My permanent bridge was also loose once again. Dr Pinney glued it and I was on my way home within 30-45 minutes. We discussed what would happen should , that in my near future we may have to replace bridge. I was happy that Dr Pinney is always trying to help me keep my costs down . Thank you all again !

Positive experience: I went to get a crown for the first time ever,so I had no idea what to expect, first part went fine, I was numbed and the Doctor put a temp crown on. When I went back to get the perminet crown on, it was painful the tech nor the doctor asked if I wanted to be numbed for the crown removal and the new one crown on. When I said how it hurt the tech said well it's open nurves , it's going to hurt, I said I thought you guys would numb me, she said you didn't ask.Really? My first crown, you would think that would go without saying, or as a part of her job is to ask the patient. I never went back.

Fantastic experience: Noah says even though Dr.Pinney is a Cubs fan, he still really liked him. Aly said she liked that Dr.Pinney was so easy to talk to and his staff are the best! Negative experience: I cannot warn people enough about this place. The dentist was very rough with me during both my procedures; I came here for a root canal, had to get a second one because they failed to get it all out the first time. Months later I find out my tooth was FRACTURED into four pieces and had to get the whole thing taken out anyways NOT only that but the doctor SHAVED DOWN a perfectly good tooth in my mouth to MAKE the fake tooth fit after months of trying to get it to settle and complaining about pain.

I must agree with the 5 stars this office receives. From the front to the back you are treated wonderfully. The ladies in the front are helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. Dr. Pinney and his support team are amazing. I fear, fear, fear, going to the dentist but Dr. Pinney made me feel comfortable. He explained everything to me and OMG, I never felt him numb my mouth when I got a filling removed and replaced. He is my kind of dentist!

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough about Dr Ted Penny, DDS and all of the people there. The gals up front welcomed me by name and quickly checked me in as always. Jessie was in the hall right away and lead me back to the room for a teeth cleaning.. As always she was upbeat and a joy to be around. During the cleaning she noticed a tooth with a hole in it. She called Dr Ted Penny in who also checked it out. He recommended setting up an appointment to remove the tooth, based on location and integrity of the tooth. Everyone absolutely knows thier job and how to take care of his patients. Then checking out is quick and easy with the staff there! Give them all my highest recommendation.

Positive experience: After making an appointment I was threatened 3 times via text that I would be charged $50.00 if I miss the appointment. After getting the work done, I was given two packs of gauze. After opening a pack of gauze, the center peices appeared to have several drops of dried blood on it. I decided not to use it. The people were nice and did not have to wait too long.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly they all get to know your name! They send out reminders for those of us that can’t keep up with appointment times. Dr Pinney is very friendly! My husband also sees him and he makes him feel comfortable and is very concerned about his comfort levels during painful procedures. Mary was ABSOLUTELY the best with my dad that had dementia! She made him feel like he was the only patient that mattered at the time. He talked for days and even brought them up in conversation after his appointment! That meant the world to us! We drive from Beebe to see Dr Pinney and his staff! My Parents were driving from Hot Springs Village because of the care and concern for my dad, Shawn cared for him. If anyone ask me about a dentist I say Dr Pinney’s office is the best!!

Dr. Pinney is patient and kind and takes time to go over your treatment options with you. He does not take a one size fits all approach but he considers your particular situation, your budget, and your personal goals in developing a treatment plan with you. His work is great, he did some crowns for me and I've received several compliments. His dental hygenists are gentle yet thorough. After a cleaning my teeth are squeaky clean. Also I'm not sure if I'm allowed to comment on other reviews, but there is an assertion on here that Dr. Pinney's office holds racist views. Well I'm African-American and never once have I been treated any other way but with respect kindness and professionalism. Everyone in the office makes you feel like family. I highly recommend Dr. Pinney and his staff. They are the best!

Negative experience: The Staff are Very rude and not welcoming of Latinos at all. The receptionist needs Anger Management training as well as Customer Service. And what makes it worse is that Dr.Ted acts the same way and condones the behavior. He wouldn’t even shake my hand when I saw him at the front desk and greeted him. If your white your right, that should be their mission statement. Go SOMEWHERE else where you won’t feel like a burden. Dr Ted do better regardless of skin color, race or ethnicity. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, even people with crooked and stained teeth.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this location since 1988 and that should tell you something about the excellent service provided by the hygienist and the doctor. This establishment is honest about the services you need. Changed Dentist for one year because of location convenience but that Dentist knew I had double coverage and wanted to provide a bunch of services that were never mentioned by Dr. Rodriguez or Dr. Pinney and that dentist was a scare tactic doctor.
