Fantastic experience: I had a very nice experience at the Dental Associates of Easley. Ari, my hygienist, was very kind and personable. I appreciated his service and his interest in me. Ari also took the time to send me a handwritten letter in the mail explaining how he hoped that I had a good experience. The letter included a small note with some good product recommendations in regards to dental hygiene. Also, Dr. Naguib, Dr. Edwards' new assistant, was quite enjoyable. She was friendly and jovial, and I appreciated her humor and her interest in me, and my dental health. Review Update: I also appreciate my hygienist Megan. She does a very good job and offers great advice!

Dr. Edwards was very professional and took the time to explain the procedures and answer all of my questions, despite the fact that he is a Clemson fan. The dental hygienist was gentle yet thorough during my cleaning, and the office uses the latest technology to make everything as efficient and comfortable as possible. I really appreciated how the entire team worked together to make my visit a positive one.

Negative experience: They were extremely unprofessional. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The looks, the snide comments that they must have thought went unnoticed to the condescending behavior made us feel very unwelcome and that we couldn't trust nor condone business with people such as this. We were extremely displeased. We chose another dentist and have been thrilled with the service and professionalism at their office. I would not suggest this place for anyone.

Negative experience: Awful Wait times and Staff will tell you things are covered by your insurance without prior research. Before being scammed during my appointment, I had to wait almost an hour 20 past my scheduled time. They charged me over $600 for a cleaning and x-rays WITH INSURANCE. They offer free stuff for 5-star Google reviews to inflate their rating. They have very slimy business practices and do shotty work with fillings. I'd take my business elsewhere

Fantastic experience: I have the utmost trust in Dr. Edwards expertise and integrity! I had a dental issue while he was out of town and the dentist I went to wanted to do a root canal. He was having trouble because the tooth was in the back (wisdom tooth, I think). I wanted him to pull it but he was insistent I needed a root canal. After I left his office I called back and told them to cancel the procedure. I went to Dr. Edwards when he returned and based on the symptoms I described he knew the tooth was already dying. He sent me to an Oral Surgeon who extracted the tooth...the best thing for me.

Fantastic experience: Every time I go to Easley Dental Associates I get treated with exceptional care. All the assistants and hygienist make the process relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Edwards always treats me with respect and provides me with professional results. Nothing is half way or just ok with them. They always want to get it right the first time.

Fantastic experience: Not long ago I was in a neighboring dental office in the Easley area. It became an unpleasant experience and one of the worst offices I’ve ever been to. The doctor didn’t even look at my teeth and humiliated me for not have gone to the dentist for 10 years although it’s just something my family didn’t grow up doing and never had issues with. Walking into Dental Associates of Easley PA was the best decision I had made with a dentist office. My nurse Hannah was very kind and explained every step and purpose for what she did that day. The doctor was also very kind and made me feel welcomed. I’m happy to say I have found a dentist that I would send any of my family members to and know they would be taken care of and respected.

Fantastic experience: I've lived in several states in my adult life and been patient for a number of dental practices. Good Lord willing, I will not have to go to a different dental practice for the remainder of my days. Always friendly, always professional.They've fixed problems created by others. And I've NEVER felt any pain while being treated. Dr Edward knows how to make shots completely pain free!

Fantastic experience: I first visited DAOE to have a broken tooth removed. Based on the great experience I had, my husband and I both decided to schedule a cleaning/make this our dental “home”! My hygienist was Ari, and he was so kind and so informative. It was so refreshing to leave a dentist office feeling educated and equipped to care for my teeth going forward, rather than “ashamed” for not knowing everything there is to know about dental health. I’m so thankful for Ari and DAOE!

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is my worst fear. Needless to say, when I found out I needed a root canal I was a mess. Dr. Edwards was amazing! He made me laugh and kept me calm and comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Stephanie, his assistant, was perfection. She sat and talked with me and answered all of my silly questions without blinking. I'm happy to say I found a dentist I will be happy to return to. Fantastic experience: The dentist is absolutely wonderful. I’m new to sc and they squeezed me in super quickly for some tooth pain I was having. I’m very pleased with my experience.

Negative experience: Last year I called their office to see if they took our insurance. They told me they did so my family all made cleaning appointments. Our insurance pays for two cleanings a year at 100%. During my husband’s cleaning they were suggesting x rays and treatments so my husband asked again as long as I don’t have to pay for anything and it’s covered under our insurance go ahead and do them. The technician said no sir it’s covered under your insurance. Fast forward a few weeks later and we get a bill for hundreds for his cleaning. After many phone conversations their answer was “well we aren’t in network with your insurance but we’ll take their payments and bill you for the rest.” My husbands benefits person at his work was even involved but their office continues to send us the bill and not righting their wrong. Before you go here make sure they are very clear about what insurance they take and even get it in writing from them. Be sure you are covered.

Fantastic experience: This place was fabulous. You get in fast & they are very friendly. Stephanie was super sweet & the doctor is super kind and makes you laugh. All their staff is super helpful! Would definitely recommend giving them a shot, you’ll love them

Negative experience: All I have to say is, better be a patient of THEIRS, or wanting to become THEIR patient. If not they’ll charge you just to examine but nothing further. For them to actually treat you, you have to be a patient. I needed a root canal, had a referral, made the appointment for the root canal(or what I thought). However I got one X-ray (brought in my X-ray) and an oral eval on that one tooth. Charged $127.00. Was told for the root canal I needed to start with a cleaning, full X-rays, and be their patient. Then I could possibly get a root canal. All about money here!!

Positive experience: Before last week, DAOE was a wonderful dental office in my opinion. My hygienist, who is no longer there, was fabulous and always helped calm me for anything from a cleaning to dental work. I have pretty horrible dental anxiety from bad experiences prior to finding DAOE. Dr. Edwards was very understanding of my anxiety and allowed me to have something to calm me before having a lot of dental work on all corners of my mouth done early in my time there as a patient. The dentist and staff were always friendly and welcoming without seeming to pass judgment as some other offices had in the past, which does not help those with dental anxiety. The last time I was seen at DAOE was toward the latter part of 2020, due to being a COVID nurse in a pandemic and then switching jobs where I was unable to get time off to make an appointment within their operating hours. Fast forward to last week, I had an appt that I had made prior to finding out I was pregnant. 2 hours before my appt, I received a link to fill out paperwork as if I was a new patient so I called to confirm it was legitimate and then ensure they received the information. On that electronic form, I included that I was 6 weeks pregnant. When I called to confirm the office said they received the information and we were all set. Upon arrival, I had to fill out more new patient forms and when I asked why that was I was met with a slight attitude and told it was to update medical history. I had already updated medical history electronically, however I went ahead and filled out the forms with demographic information anyways. I asked if they had archived my chart or something because they weren’t just asking if anything had changed since I was there last. After waiting about 5-10 mins, my new hygienist came to retrieve me from the waiting room and asked me about medications I currently take. She starts reading a list that was not the updated list I had provided, including birth control. I informed her that I was not taking birth control since I was pregnant and had notated that on the information I sent in. I was then informed that they could not even clean my teeth because I was 6 weeks pregnant, I had never heard of such a thing and I was already anxious and ready to run out of the building as I typically am. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate looking out for my health and my unborn child’s health; however, according to the ADA, ACOG, and American Pregnancy Association - I could not find any evidence to make this credible. All of these professional organizations who set standards for dental health or obstetrics/pregnancy claim that it is encouraged to continue preventative dental care. I am extremely disappointed in DAOE because from the time I called to make my appt to the time I was reminded of my appt by my new hygienist, I was made to feel ashamed that I had not been to the dentist in quite some time. They had no idea of my circumstance and must have not been too concerned for my dental health if I was refused a cleaning even though it’s perfectly safe. Should I not be brushing and flossing during my first trimester at home either?? I’ll be sure to ask the dentist office who agreed to safely clean my teeth in a week from now! Disclaimer: I’ve attempted to call the office since last Thursday afternoon after this occurred, but they close at 3. I’ve called for an hour and a half this morning and cannot get through to speak with anyone about this matter, so that is why I’m leaving this review. I’ve never had such a hard time getting through to the office. I hope DAOE can review this protocol or at least have a better way of handling things next time for someone like me who already has a horribly irrational anxiety of the dentist just to have all of this happen. I appreciate the previously great care that was provided for my husband and I at DAOE, but this experience was enough to lose our business (even if it isn’t as often as we should be making it in ).

My visit today however I had a different young lady named Stephanie and for my 2nd time seeing her since coming, I am extremely happy with how these ladies work!! Man what a great staff!!! All the ladies at the front desk are always so inviting when I come in. Let's face it, who wants to go to the dentist? No one, but when you have staff like this place, it makes it much more exciting to be here. Thanks again ladies. Oh and Dr Edward's. You're pretty awesome too. Ps, Hannah is my favorite so far. Fantastic experience: My husband has went there for years and he recommended them to me. I started going 3 years ago. They are all very kind. I have sensitive teeth and they make sure to be gentle, which makes the process so much easier. Dr. Blackwell is the nicest dentist ever. He remembers you and conversations he has had with you. He is very thorough. You normally have to leave a message to be able to speak with someone, but Shanna is good about getting back to you pretty quickly. She also helped me last year when I had a mistake with my insurance. She figured everything out for me. I feel like they really care about the satisfaction and well-being of their patients.

Fantastic experience: Very good dentist office!!! Taken right back cleaned and x-rayed teeth. Had 2 old decayed filling. Scheduled 2 days later to have repaired. Worked with my dental insurance. Did a great job on repairing the 2 old fillings! Always prompt and curtious!

They were very careful about cleanliness and sanitizing everything, if you're concerned about risks from covid.

Negative experience: Our family went here for a couple of years. Since the COVID issue... Patients must check in by phone and wait in parking lot. They require the patient to be there early for check in. Office makes you wait for extended periods of time only to come outside and NOT take people in by the order of arrival. When this occurred staff made no apology, no consideration of time, no courtesy, no professionalism. Will never go back.

Negative experience: Very bad experience, I would give 0 stars if I could. As a parent I sent my older daughter to this establishment for a cleaning. She attended by herself as she is 17 now, and turning 18 within a few short days. Therefore, I assumed she was plenty capable of handling herself. She went in for a standard cleaning upon which they discovered a singular cavity, this would not be a problem if the next events did not occur. Upon the completion of the procedure, my daughter was under the influence of the “laughing gas”, therefore, not clear of mind. This is important to note because my daughter has a severe allergy to fluoride. In any and all amounts, it has become clear that she must stay away from it at all cost. However, during this appointment that commenced at 9:30AM this morning, a snappy dental assistant “helped” my daughter. I use that term loosely, as my daughter clearly requested, “No fluoride”. Only to recieve fluoride!!! When she returned home she was breaking out severely in hives due to this employee not letting her skip this procedure. I understand the implications that fluoride is greatly important after a filling, but when a client asks specifically for this, IT SHOULD BE LISTENED TO! I am strongly displeased with this establishment and their staff and service for blatantly neglecting a customer’s needs as well as putting my daughter at a serious health risk. I do not advise anyone to aid this business financially nor send their beloved family here! My daughter was treated as if she was a bratty child when she is a growing adult! Listen to the concerns of your patients! The employee in question’s description is below: She had long black hair up in a bun, with a rod like piercing on the top of her ear. I do not know this employee’s name, but I do hope that ACTION is taken. I do intend on reposting this review in a variety of places to help educate the population in making a smart and informed decision before facing a serious health crisis. Thank you greatly to those that read and understand my struggle. I greatly care for my family and their health as I assume this business’s families and staff do as well. So please show some respect to your customers.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Edwards and his amazing team are the absolute best! At 17 years old, I had a freak diving board accident that knocked out my four front teeth and administered plenty of other damage. Following this, I visited many dentists and was never fully satisfied until finding Dental Associates of Easley! They place their patient comfort and care above all else! And the quality of their restorative and cosmetic work excels immensely compared to any previous work I received from other dentists. I highly recommend their excellent care for any and all dental needs!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Edwards is the epitome of the perfect blend of professionalism and personality, and the rest of the staff are always extremely nice and easy to work with. Before coming here I dreaded going to the dentist, but I have had nothing but pleasant experiences here. Highly recommend!
