Fantastic experience: It had been 22 yrs since I saw a dentist. Extreme dental phobia to say the least. I broke a tooth on Thursday. Since I had a knee replacement earlier this year and was told of possible infection in the new joint from the mouth, I knew I had to check with a dentist. I walked into Creekview Dental. I told the receptionist and asked for an appointment. She said we can see you in about 30 mins., seeing the shock and terror on my face, she said or we can do Monday or Tuesday if you prefer. I said No today will be fine. I was terrified to go back into the clinical area due to the regular dental sounds. I was escorted back by a very sympathetic, calm and reassuring dental assistant named Charlotte. She explained everything to me and told me that the doctor would just look and tell me what needed to be done. As I cried, she walked me through each step. Then Dr. Shafer came in and I could have not asked for better care. He was gentle, patient and allowed me to move at my own pace. Luckily, the tooth was not an emergency. Dr. Shafer told me what he could do, how the process would go, and how many treatments it would take to restore the tooth. Dr. Shafer and Charlotte told me that they do not do IV sedation. They only provide oral sedation and Nitrous. Since all my other dental procedures have been performed under IV sedation, I prefer that form of sedation. Before I left, they once again told me that if I chose to come back, they would be happy to see me and make me as comfortable as possible. I could have not experienced any better care, compassion and human kindness as I received at this dentist office. If you are looking for an excellent dentist and staff, I highly recommend you give them a call. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Teresa Green

I confided in him about a career change, and he was so encouraging to me. He reassured me that I was making the right decision, and I will never forget his words of advice to me. He is truly a wonderful person!

Positive experience: I hate to give 3 stars but I have to. Dr. Noah Shafer and the lady assisting him were very helpful and very nice people. I definitely recommend the place as a whole; however, our personal experience was a little off putting. I called to make an appointment for my soon to be 6yr old. I explained over the phone that our child would need anesthesia options and told them their age. We specifically asked if they accepted pediatric patients since their website states that they not only offer pediatric dentistry, but also anesthesia options. So we booked the appointment. Mind you I had to take time out off work and my insurance was billed for the visit at which they only took three x-ray images. The appointment lasted about 30mins. They then proceeded to explain that they don’t work with pediatric patients and that they also don’t offer anesthesia options either and that they would have to refer us to an actual pediatric dentist. Again the staff were very nice; however, whomever scheduled the appointment needs to have a better understanding of what is actually offered in terms of services. I wouldn’t mind doing business with them, but I am not happy that we took the time to be seen only to have to go elsewhere and wait through the weekend with a cavity. Luckily the referral got us in first thing the following Monday morning.

Fantastic experience: Dr. McNeely and his staff are the best! They care for the patients and want the best for them. My whole family goes there. My elderly parents and daughter love him. I have gone to Creekview since they were at the old location by the railroad tracks. Their new location is so relaxing and beautiful. It's the perfect place for dental work.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff (dentists, hygienists, x-ray technicians, etc) are outstanding. My only negative is the office and furnishings are very dated and very much in need of an update. Hopefully this will be happening soon.
