Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry

Negative experience: Very poor inter-office communication. The morning of our appointment we received a phone call to bring a 165 dollar deposit to cover our dental exam in case our insurance did not cover the exam. This deposit was required by this office at the last minute even though there was enough time to verify our Humana insurance coverage in advance of our appointment. It only takes one phone call. I personally verified the coverage for a "dental exam". It was covered, per Humana, if coded correctly by this dental office. We had completed an appointment weeks prior to this and had no problem. Our prior exam was professionaly handled, but this "morning of" notice was not welcomed. We are in our senior years and not prepared to meet this sudden unnecessary surprise For out of pocket cash. Due to the disorderly process, we cancelled and will not return to the Springboro office or any office of this dental practice. Mike and Lydia Marshall

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my general dentist for wisdom tooth extraction for all 4 of my teeth. I had an amazing experience! First of all, I appreciate that someone always immediately answers the phone, not an automated system, and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. On the day of my surgery, everyone involved made sure I was comfortable and explained the process clearly to me. The most difficult part about the whole thing was the IV (I had bad prior experiences) but even the lady who did my IV did an amazing job and I barely felt it! I’m now about a week post-extraction, and have had zero complications so far. I thank Dr. Olsen and all of the staff for a very positive experience :)

Fantastic experience: I will recommend this place every time!!! I called on Wednesday 12/10 and told them I was in excruciating pain and needed 2 teeth removed before the weekend because NO meds were working. I spoke with Maddie, the treatment coordinator, and she worked fast to get my X-rays and referral sent over from another dentist I saw that couldn’t get me in until the following Monday. She was so sweet and kind and they got me in this morning 12/12. All staff members were so amazing!! I have severe dental anxiety and they made sure I was comfortable! I couldn’t be more thankful!

Fantastic experience: I had a cleaning appointment at 8 am and was told my appointment had been canceled because I hadn't responded yes to their confirmation email. I remember complying with the email with a yes but they had no record of my response. Instead of having to reschedule they found a way to fit me in immediately. The experience was handled very professionally by the staff and I went on to having a great day. Five star experience.

Fantastic experience: 11/21/2025: I just had another excellent appointment with Bridget / Dental Hygienist and she always takes great care of my teeth and gums. Dr. Bernardes checked on the work near the end of my appointment and I was impressed with her too. This is a very organized dental business and everyone on the staff, including the front office, know their jobs well and always friendly ready to help. 7/18/2025: I make 3 routine dental appointments a year and Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry is The Best. Bridget (Dental Hygienist) takes Great Care of me and my wife has her dental checkups at the same location as me. Dr. Sellers runs a first rate dental business. The staff is friendly and super efficient too. 3/11/25: Always exceptional care at Dayton Compreshensive Dentistry. Bridget is consistently excellent in her job. Today, I asked her recommendation for which toothpaste choices were best for me and her advice was very helpful. 11/7/24: Outstanding dental care on every appointment. I highly recommend Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry in Springboro. 7/22/24: I make 3 appointments each year at Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry for preventive maintenance of my teeth and everyone makes me feel welcome and valued as a patient. 6/6/24 Update: I am very satisfied with the great dental care at Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry in Springboro. _______________________________________________________________ I just switched my dental care after reading their Google reviews and chose Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry in Springboro. Bridget (Dental Hygienist) was friendly and asked if I had any concerns before she started -- That was impressive to me. Some of my teeth are sensitive, so Bridget took extra care to make sure the exam was painless. She also setup my next appointment 4 months out, so I retain 3 visits per year (my preference). She made the visit easy and kept me informed of each procedure. Dr. Asita welcomed me as a new patient and asked me to confirm the medical history, so their assessment was accurate. She was very thorough and I can see why get such high reviews. Danielle (front desk) took care of the billing and my next appointment. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Bridget and Dr. Asita if you want Excellent Dental Care. They're professional / friendly and deserve 5 stars.

Negative experience: worst experience I ever had, with extractions, so much pain, I guess he was in a hurry, and never give it time to get me sedated

Fantastic experience: Feeling so grateful for Dr. Sellers and the team at Comprehensive Dentistry. I've been going there for several years, very satisfied. And most recently had an old, broken crown replaced. Dr. Sellers is extraordinary, he had to send it back, and he just was so concerned and took great care that the replacement was perfect. You're not gonna find another dentist that puts this much into his work.

Negative experience: I woke up from the Anesthesia before they were done removing my wisdom teeth. They also messed up my payment, almost making me pay an extra 1000 dollars than I was supposed to.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! Dr. Sellers was easy to talk to and knew what needed to be done and took care of me with no pain during or after my appointment. The Dental Assistant was the real star though, she was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I didn’t feel like she was rushing to mold my crown and get me out of the chair. She made sure my temporary crown fit perfect and I had all the information necessary before I left the exam area. I did not ask her name, but I’m certain someone called her Sydney. 10 out of 10 Definitely Recommend!

Positive experience: I absolutely have confidence & trust with everyone here. However the scheduling is horrible. Good example, went yesterday and was told to come back in 2 weeks & I get to the front desk and they say oh sorry we don’t have anything for 4 weeks . This happens all the time. You call to schedule an appointment and they always struggle to get you scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. Unless you complain & then they most often figure it out. Why do you have to be on the defensive when you call for an appointment. Please do better with scheduling.

Negative experience: The front desk staff were polite and friendly enough. However, the dental assistant, while not hostile in any way, was not particularly friendly. Not a big deal, but the thing that really turned me off is the lack of a water dispenser and cup to rinse my mouth out after the cleaning and tartar removal. The assistant merely squirted water into my mouth and then wanted me to allow the instrument to suck out the debris. Seems like a cost efficient alternative, but it didn't work very well for me and I usually ended up swallowing most of the debris. YUCK!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sellers and his staff are excellent. They are very competent and friendly and have a lot of patience. Office is able to take care of all of your dental needs to keep your gums and teeth healthy. Comprehensive Dentistry is the perfect place for your needs. Fantastic experience: My last appointment was for a routine cleaning. I had a very good experience with Laura the hygienist who was subbing that day. I saw Dr. Sollars and let him know each time I come into the office for an appointment everyone is very pleasant and professional.

Positive experience: I recently visited and it was quite the adventure! My first appointment was for a routine exam, but due to my dental anxiety and jaw issues, we had to get creative. The staff was super accommodating, squeezing me into the oral surgeon’s schedule because I couldn’t open my mouth all the way. They managed a panoramic x-ray. Dr. Olsen reviewed the x-ray and said, “great news! You don’t grind your teeth and it looks like you just bit your cheek. Let’s get those wisdom teeth out to help with the jaw pain and inflammation.” Fast forward two weeks to the surgery, and things took a twist! Suddenly, Dr. Olsen looked at the same x-ray and said I was grinding my teeth and the surgery wouldn’t fix my issue. There was a bit of a heated discussion, but we proceeded with the extraction anyway. The recovery part was less than stellar. I was very clear about my dental anxiety from the start. My driver was shocked how they were treating me right in front of her (post-op). They kept sternly telling me to get into the car when it was very obvious that I wasn’t even coherent. She finally told them they needed to put me in the car and they put the seatbelt on wrong? I mean, come on… After surgery, I was even called about someone else’s medications because they didn’t take the name of the person who called and assumed it was me? I have no idea. A few days later, I got my post-op “how are you doing?” call and I asked questions that one person claimed they talked to my driver about (which they did not). And when I got transferred to another person, they told me all my questions were answered on the paper handout I received. Nope, that’s why I’m asking the questions. I called back with more questions, someone took a message and I’m STILL waiting five days later for them to call me back. Overall, while the staff was kind in the general dentistry side and tried their best, the mixed messages and post-op experience bring my rating to three stars. If you’re looking for a bit of dental drama with a side of humor, this might be the place for you!

Negative experience: I had a great dentist and asst. perform a root canal. They did really good job. The Dentist told me at my next cleaning the attending dentist could replace the temporary with a permanent filling. They took me to the counter (where the office manager took the instructions, I found that our later). 3 days later I got a call that my next visit was going to Cost $1,800. Seemed like a lot. Later I needed to reschedule. When I came in I asked and why my replacing the Temporary filling had been changed to a crown and it was now $ 2,200. No reason why??? As I later found out the $1,800 was incorrect, nobody had seen me to determine a change was necessary. When I came back in I asked why and was give to a supervisor to explain I had already been given a invoice by on of the staff that now said $2,200. However when I came back the next day she came up to tell me there was $400 more dollars added to the total. when I asked why the price kept changing I was not given much of an answer. At this point I was very frustrated. I was given to the office manager to deal with. she wanted the name of who told me this. I did not know the names of the staff. Between the 2 of them with out saying it directly they implied I was lying. I needed the work done so I went back for the cleaning. The Hygienist was terrific!!! I then went to where they were going to perform the crown replacement (which the Dentist that performed the root cannel said I did not need but the Administrative staff insisted that was correct. After they took some impression for the Crown the new Dentist came in. Both he and the assistant were terrific. He took one look and said you don't need a crown you just need the temporary on replaced. Just as the Dentist who performed the root canal told me. The Office Manager came back with a new greatly reduced price. Over a $2000 reduction. The reduction was just taking the pricing back to what it should have been. Needless to say I was very frustrated!! So greateful the two Dentists involved were true professionals. I felt like I was going through a bait and switch scam. I Started being told the next appointment after the root canal would be a cleaning and a replacement for the temporary for $1800, next it was a $2,200 dollar charge when as far as I knew nothing had changed, Then a new charge a day later for a new total of $2,600. no reasons just a condescension and this is the bill. The dental staff was terrific. The Administrative staff not so much.

I genuinely can’t wait to get my teeth back on a better start and I appreciate them for helping me get that started by removing the pain away for me . Very good place it is nice and neat with respectful people . I recommend this place to a few people already who I know who has teeth issues and can’t find a good dental office ! They even called me the next morning to see how I was feeling and if I had questions, I appreciate that this is a good dentist !

Positive experience: Showed up early to fill out my paperwork and still had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time to get in and when we where done we where told someone would be out to speak with us about insurance and scheduling and wait 40 minutes before I had enough and said something to a nice young lady at the desk who then told me they would Email me and we could go. For this being our first time here it was a bad impression but since they are the only ones who will work with an anesthesiologist in our area this is who we will have to go to to get my daughter's root canal. Besides the miscommunication, they were very kind,the office was very clean and they had coffee and water to offer in the lobby.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of any surgery for many substantial reasons, the whole staff did Amazing, they listened and explained every concern of mine plus some, The doctor was well educated and compassionate , explained and showed me his concern and why we could have some difficulties in great detail. I am so thankful My surgery lasted twelve minutes, And already feel so much better within hours of all wisdom teeth removed. Thank you guys so much for taking care of me in the best of ways needed. They even gave me back my 2 of 4 wisdom teeth back after my request to keep the ones that weren't broken. SUPER AWESOME DENTAL TEAM!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED W my respect.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about getting my extractions and even cried beforehand, but the team was amazing! They allowed my mom, who was my driver, to stay with me in the room until the procedure started, which helped me feel so much more at ease. The staff even made me laugh and kept me comfortable before my sedation, which really helped me feel calm. During my IV sedation, everything went quickly and smoothly — it was completely painless and stress-free. Now I’m home healing, and they called to check on me and answered any questions I had. I’m so happy with my experience and can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I went to Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry To have some minor dental surgery. I was pretty much terrified of the procedure because I’ve never had one before. However, Dr. Masoud And his assistant Fayez were phenomenal. they were very patient and understanding with me. They explained the procedures that were going to be done. And they attended to my fears as the procedure processed. I would recommend the two of them to anyone needing a dental procedure. I will be going back to see them as needed

Negative experience: My tooth broke off at gumline 4 weeks after having root canal. I even asked if the tooth was cracked during the root canal process. Now Dr. Bahdor has selective memory about me asking. Shouldn't that be something the check for anyway? Don't expect a refund if your dental work goes sideways!!!

Fantastic experience: I don't like doing surveys. If they are not absolutely perfect in the eyes of the business, then someone either gets interrogated, demoted, fired, or their pay gets whacked. I will say this though - Dr. Sellers has been great with my bridge, Dr. Tabaa has been great with sharing his knowledge and wisdom on dental care, but the real star has been Bridget. She truly cares about my dental well being and is always a pleasure to see (And if I find out anyone harrassed Bridget about this review, I won't be happy).

Positive experience: The actual dental work is great. But the constant rescheduling by the front desk staff makes it impossible to keep track of appointments- especially when you’re seeing more than one doctor. There needs to be better communication and coordination of care.

I relocated to Florida recently, and I know I will never be able to find a dentist who can ever replace them. Bridgette is an amazing Dental Hygienist who always had me leaving there with my teeth feeling completely clean. And Dr. Sellers was professional, listened to my concerns, and addressed them (no matter how small)! They truly take pride in their work and care about their patients. Negative experience: I had extensive dental work done on my tooth today. The nitrous oxide did not work in the room, and the procedure was very traumatic. My prior dentist who I went to for 45 years at our prior dental office I never had a negative experience like this.

I absolutely love this place, not only were they very friendly, they went above and beyond and provided him with excellent customer service, they did a great job!! His doctor was very caring and kind. My son got his 4 wisdom teeth removed and had a great experience here. He even said when we left, “ I wouldn’t mind doing this again, this wasn’t that bad” . We were extremely thankful and impressed with this place.

Negative experience: Canceled my appointment with less than 48 hours notice with a text. They tried to claim in the text that they canceled because they claim I didn't confirm. Come to find out that they left a message on my voicemail earlier in the day saying that they wouldn't have a "doctor" available. I call BS. If I cancel with less than 48 hours notice I have to pay a fee, right? I guess someone thinks they're just a little bit more important than all of us dental patients.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was spectacular! Be prepared for a hefty fee, do not expect inexpensive. I was totally impressed with the doctor, I was in awe of his knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Very organized, polite people, I had a very short wait time. Lobby and dental care rooms are very clean rooms. Excellent work, discuss short term/long term dental plans for my teeth. Smooth running office with great skilled people. Pleasure to have my teeth worked on by the team at the dental facility.

Fantastic experience: Checked in, waited maybe a minute. Took me back and got right to work. Nothing wrong so it was a simple process. Waited maybe 10 minutes for the doctor to come in and check things out. Pretty seamless.
