Negative experience: After being loyal patients for over 10 years, we will not be returning. I allowed my 19-year-old daughter to attend her appointment alone for the first time. Unfortunately, she had a very poor experience. The hygienist was extremely rough on her gums and pressured her to purchase a $70 water pick. The dentist did not introduce himself (that my daughter remembers) and recommended Invisalign, wisdom teeth removal (despite no pain or cavities), and a frenectomy, which was especially concerning given my daughter has no speech, eating, or tongue mobility issues. At checkout, staff repeatedly pressured her to schedule with the oral surgeon despite her saying no multiple times. She felt uncomfortable and taken advantage of, and also noted the office felt very different from past visits. Overall, this was a disappointing experience after many years with this practice.

Positive experience: The care for my wife Carol Ziegler done by the hygienist was done professionally. However on checking out the woman behind the desk was unable to explain the claimed charge since we have delta dental insurance. She claimed I was frustrated and that Robin would call me to go over the new policy. I have not heard from her. I find this to be unprofessional service As the customer I expect to be treated with respect and given an explanation about any charges due.

Positive experience: This review comes with hesitation for I overall think the dentistry at Geller is excellent. My issue is with the front desk. My opinion is the only person qualified to speak on dental benefits / treatment plans is Diane! Unfortunately I dealt with one young (emphasis on young) lady over the telephone who spoke with such arrogance and authority on my insurance and treatment plan that was completely incorrect. It was unsettling, nerve wracking and argumentative!!!! Honestly, who wants to argue with your dental office, yet it was going there. The best she should’ve done was to take a message or put me on hold to speak to Diane. Please re train your front desk on phone etiquette or prohibit them on speaking to patients regarding their insurance / treatment plans. P.S. this is regarding one person at the front desk & unfortunately the experience was so bad I can’t remember her name. Thank you!

Update 9/5/24: I finished my Invisalign today and my teeth look amazing! After Dr. Nguyen took off the little attachments and checked everything Erica did a really thorough cleaning. Fantastic experience: Nicole and the rest of the staff are amazing. Came over as a new patient last year and so happy I did. Every aspect of their practice is great. Nicole, I see most often, because I go to her for all my regular maintenance cleanings. All the doctors that I have dealt with along the way have been great. The staff at the counter take their time to make sure the billing is accurate and keep you up-to-date on everything that you have put in for. I’m happy I made the move with my family to their practice.

Fantastic experience: My mother was in desperate need of dentures; the teeth she had remaining were rapidly failing, and time was of the essence. In the beginning, she insisted on going to a Rockville Centre oral surgery practice she used many times in the past, but the experience she had there on this occasion wasn't great. The plan the office insisted on consisted of two separate surgeries PLUS a visit to a specialist in an office in the different location for the dentures. I scheduled the appointment for my mother, but we had to cancel it the day before due to an illness that took up the greater part of the next year. At the end of this spring, we returned to this practice to reset plans. To our disappointment, the office no longer would honor the original quote, charging significantly more money because, the office claimed, it initially quoted the procedure incorrectly. It was time to move on. I live not far from Geller Dental, and when I perused its website, I was impressed with the patient stories as well as online reviews. I consulted with some other Bellmore residents, and they all spoke highly of the practice. I went in and had a great conversation with Diane, who told me that everything is done in house. I scheduled a consultation for my mom. The consultation was with Dr. Schlesinger, who spent a solid hour examining my mom's teeth and consulting with her. Her attentively listed to all of her concerns and answered her questions. This put my mom at ease, which in itself is a victory as my mom is extremely hesitant to trust people. The plan Dr. Schlesinger made was much better than the other office's plan; this one was for one single surgery, and the dentures would be made in-house, which my mom would leave with immediately post-surgery. When discussing payment for the plan, we were assisted by Fortune, the office manager, who was friendly, warm, and helpful. The payment for this plan was significantly more affordable than the original plan the other practice offered. After the consultation, we scheduled the surgery for two weeks later. In the time leading up to the surgery, my mom was excited. She kept saying how she'd be able to smile at other people and eat without being embarrassed. The day of the surgery came, and the entire procedure was done in under an hour. Dr. Awan performed the surgery, as my mother has a complicated medical history and Dr. Awan is equipped for high-risk patients. Before the surgery, Dr. Awan walked my mom and I through the entire procedure and answered all questions. Because my mom was afraid to be on her own, Fortune was kind enough to don a gown and sit in with my mom while Dr. Awan operated. Again, I cannot thank Fortune enough for her warmth and personal touch. Dr. Bienstock later assisted with some cleaning, denture troubleshooting, and denture adjustment two weeks later, and Dr. Nguyen removed my mother's stitches. Every time my mom has entered this office, she leaves with a smile and good spirits. This is the type of dental care everyone should have. My husband and I have since switched over to Geller Dental for our own dental care. Everything about this practice is top-notch. The staff is professional and treat their clients like family the equipment is modern and cutting-edge, the design of the patient rooms is unique---floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall windows showcasing a lovely garden---, and the price is right. I'm so glad I found Geller Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving care from this dental office since November 2023, and have a ton of dental work done with them from a cleaning, xray/CT, fillings, root canal, crown, all the way to starting Invisalign now. I have extreme dental anxiety from some traumatic experiences in my childhood and have been avoiding the dentist for quite some time. I have had little to no pain and i feel like i am in great hands. The office managers are wonderful to work with and the entire staff is very friendly. My bills and options for treatments covered by insurance vs not covered by insurance were thoroughly explained to me. Happy to say that their customer service is excellent and they aim to keep their patients completely comfortable and satisfied. I have had dental work done by Dr Nguyen and Dr Geller himself! Can’t recommend them enough!

Negative experience: This Place is a JOKE! Randy Geller with the excuse that he lives in the Hamptons comes 30 mins late, always apologizing for the Delay, they always short Staffed, I WONDER WHY?! lol I Saw 2 patients that came in the morning to recement their temporary crown that had come off by the end of the day, they were back in the office for the same thing LMAO. and he puts his assistants to do the dirty work.

Negative experience: This place is not what you think it is. It looks nice on the outside and the workers at the front desk are really great I commend them. But the owner himself is greedy and money hungry I've never been to a place where I have to pay full price to schedule an appointment before i do anything. He doesn't care about his workers either, he doesn't treat them with any respect & I've seen it when i visited for an appointment . I don't understand how a man in charge can be like that towards his workers especially female workers. Have some more respect, and learn to ask us patients what we want not what you want. I was impressed right from the start with the attention and kindness that was given by the staff making my appointment and dealing with my insurance. When I arrived at my appointment, the reception, staff was also very kind and looked at me in the eyes when they spoke to me. Their patient relations are stellar. I had a cleaning and x-rays followed up by a visit from the doctor. The hygienist was fantastic from the get-go. She had a delightful personality and was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, not to mention extremely thorough. Probably the best dental cleaning experience I ever had. The doctor was personable and I felt also very thorough. We discussed a few potential issues however I never felt pressured into anything. This was not just an office visit, it was an experience.

Dr. WYN is my dentist and for someone who has anxiety from previous dental experiences he is patient, gentle and reassuring at all times. He checks on me to make sure I am feeling ok from start to finish and satisfied with EVERY visit. He is so down to earth, genuine and caring which makes it easy for me to schedule my next visit. All of the dental assistant's and hygienists follow this demeanor as well. Whenever I had an unexpected tooth issue the office team no matter who answered the phone fits me in to the first available appointment. This is a lifeline when you have tooth pain! My overall experience has been stellar with everyone there and I have been happy to recommend them to my friends and family. Positive experience: Went there for my 3x yearly cleaning. Had a different hygienist than my previous time there and she was excellent. I have no complaints about her work whatsoever. However there seems to be a very high turnover of staff at this practice, among both dentists and hygienists. It would be nice to see the same person at each visit to ensure continuity of care. That said, I was taken promptly and very satisfied with the quality of the work.

Fantastic experience: As a new client the attention and care was on point. The Geller Group has up to date dental ware and the staff are attentive and courteous. The bonus for me was the late weekday hours and weekend Saturday availabilities. Looking forward to my new Invisilign and clean teeth.

Negative experience: I’m not discrediting the dental work and environment provided. However I’ve been going here for 2 years now and the billing department is incompetent. They can’t process insurance correctly or secondary insurance. They continue to say oh we’ll send it to claims blah blah blah and keep racking up the bill. I wish they could get it together but I would recommend finding a dentist that has their billing department in order.

From childhood where my parents were lied to saying I had 10 cavities when I had zero, to non communicative doctors with awful bedside manner and everything in between. The Geller dental group completely redeemed all of that past experience. ALL of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they talked me through every part of every process. The office itself was so clean and beautifully laid out. The entire experience was the best I've ever had. I think I finally after 4 decades, found my dentist.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Geller for a second opinion on some dental work I needed done. Immediately after looking at my X-rays he saw that I had much more that needed to be addressed before the initial work should be done. My original dentist did not see what he saw. I was very comfortable with Dr Geller and all his funny analogies making it easy for me to understand what needed to be done. His office staff was very professional and helpful and I am looking forward to working with them. I would recommend this office to anyone who is apprehensive about going to the dentist. I’m sure you will be happy.

Fantastic experience: I had a visit with Dr Bienstock and it was great. I needed to have a tooth removed and was nervous. He was gentle, took his time and explained all that was going to be performed. He checked with me to ensure I was comfortable. I highly recommend him! Eleanor the hygienist is also great!! She made me feel at ease.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, after 20 years at Geller Dental in Bellmore, I have decided that they have totally outpriced themselves. Their staff is fantastic but the prices they charge are OUTRAGEOUS!!! I will NOT return to Geller Dental. Beware!!!!!!!!!

The rooms are clean and bright, with huge windows instead of walls to make patients feel relaxed and at ease. There is never a long wait, and you feel you are in the best hands here. Great place!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Randy Geller highly enough! His office is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Geller is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. My case was somewhat complex (at least to me), as it seemed like a root canal would solve my pain. Upon further investigation, he found a fracture in my tooth, which necessitated a implant procedure instead. He took the time to explain every step of my treatment (even alerting me when and why the sound of the drill was changing) and answered all my questions thoroughly. The procedure was virtually painless, and the result was excellent! Dr. Geller truly cares about his patients, and it shows. I received text messages from him the night of my initial procedure and the morning after to see how i was doing. If you're looking for a dentist you can trust, look no further!"
