Fantastic experience: I’m a very anxious and nervous patient, especially when it comes to dental work and tooth implants. From the start, Dr. Chang took the time to clearly explain the entire process, which helped ease a lot of my fears. My first visit for the tooth extraction and bone graft was surprisingly painless, and the procedure itself went smoothly. For me, the healing and waiting period afterward has been the more challenging part, but I feel reassured knowing I’m in good hands. I truly trust Dr. Chang’s skill and expertise and feel confident going into the next steps of the implant process. While I’m really hoping I don’t have to go through this again with another tooth, since it’s a significant time commitment and expense out of pocket—I’m grateful to have a dentist I trust. I appreciate the care, patience, and professionalism from Dr. Chang and the office.

With decayed teeth, time truly matters—the longer you wait, the more serious the problem becomes. Dr. Zhang was extremely patient, attentive, and professional throughout the treatment. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at EC Dental. The receptionist was welcoming, the hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Huang was very professional and kind. The entire team is truly great.

Negative experience: Zero compassion from the techs and the dentists. Not only did they make fun of my mom for her mandarin, my mom as the patient was yelled at for not understanding them. She left this office apologizing to the staff in English for not being able to communicate, which she shouldn’t be the one to. Shame on this practice and the female dentist who did not take care of my mom. UPDATE: Funny how the practice wants to blame the patient and say that this never happened. This shouldn’t have happened in the first place, staff need to do better. My mom was originally told that she would need two molars to be pulled out for $900 and then have them replaced $2000 each. Went to a different practice for a 2nd opinion and was told her teeth were in good condition and just needed some cleaning. Self explanatory on what this practice is trying to do.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental cleaning with Dr. Huang and it was truly a fantastic experience. Her beside manners are excellent - most doctors these days rush their patients in and out and it seems like they barely care. Dr. Huang was polite, dedicated and most importantly absolutely professional and took her time in caring for my teeth. The front desk staff are also very nice and attentive. Starting with hygienist Isabella, who did an excellent job with my cleaning, and then Dr. Jiang, who followed up with me about my teeth. Fantastic experience: Dr Wong is an incredible dentist. She did 3 fillings for me and I was out of the office nice and smoothly. This office clearly displays courtesy, kindness and professionalism. I refrained from going because of my past experiences with other clinics but Dr wong and her team restored my teeth and my faith. I can’t recommend her and her staff enough. If you go, try to see Dr Wong as I’m sure the other doctors are formidable, but I prefer her. Thank you Dr Wong.

Negative experience: Quality has been going down lately with EC Dental. I believe a dentist left and receptionists have been a mess. I was referred out for a root canal instead of doing it in-house (I thought this office can do root canals in-house). The referral was great though, I love the endodontist, but when I called backed for a crown appointment, they said they were booked up for the next 3 weeks. Then they tried to cancel my husband's cleaning appointment because he didn't pick up his phone to confirm his appointment. Normal business practice is to call to confirm appointment, it stays scheduled unless you call back to cancel. And if it's a no-show, you fine the patient.

When I had an urgent situation, she patiently helped me arrange an appointment in a timely and effective way. It’s rare to meet someone so caring and efficient. At the same time, I truly appreciate Dr. Mai for his professionalism and attentiveness. He explained everything clearly and made me feel very comfortable and confident during my treatment. Fantastic experience: Overall, a disappointing first time visit. It was a clean office but crowded and the hygenist lacked skill/effort. Dr. Chang was solid but the writing was already on the wall at this point. I look forward to my dental cleanings because my mouth and teeth feel especially clean for a few weeks. The hygenist here provided a cursory 10 minute cleaning that left my mouth feeling the same as it did prior to the vist. I had thought he was just getting started when he announced he was done. I would say this was the shortest and worst cleaning I've had in my entire life. I'm not sure if this was a skill/effort issue or the office was simply overwhelmed that day. Also, I had to wait in the lobby for 35-40 minutes because they cancelled my appointment after I did not pick up their calls and confirm 1-2 days prior. I've heard of medical offices calling to confirm but I've never heard of them cancelling if they dont reach you. Patients should be notified of this policy at the time of their booking. Edit: After a rough first visit, I have 4-5 great visits with Isabella as my hygenist and Dr. Chang as my dentist. I am glad I stuck with them.

Fantastic experience: I visited this dental facility with my mother's recommendation for a first-time consultation and emergency cleaning, the front desk staff were clear and precise with instructions with regards to filling out essential forms before the hygienist/dentist called me in to perform the cleaning. The cleaning did not take long and was nearly painless, neither did it involve anesthesia. Cleanings and root planing/deep cleaning are two different procedures and sometimes completed in not one but two visits. Professional and excellent service overall, I have not experienced such confidence in visiting this dental office and I have always feared dental work. I have worked with several dentists over the years, and nothing has compared to the effectiveness and expertise of the staff at EC Dentistry. If you have phobia of dentists, I would definitely give this one a try! I will be back again for a couple more visits to take care of these painful toothaches I have been enduring due to horrendous and careless work done by other dentists. Fantastic experience: Finally found a good dental place where workers are all so nice, it is a calming environment and so I love and trust this place. My mom also comes here too. We all have fear going to dental places because we always had bad dentists. Dr.Chang is very patient and explains to me the needs in my teeth. Highly recommended this place. The following is a timeline in minutes of my visit to the EC Dental Group on 1-16-25: 1) 3:55PM: arrived the clinic for 4PM appointment and was greeted by the front desk. 2) 4:03PM: X-Ray technician led me to an exam room. 3) 4:05-4:14PM: received full set of X-Ray examinations. 4) 4:15-4:34PM: received a thorough and pain-free cleaning service. 5) 4:35-4:41PM: Dr. Chang reviewed X-Ray and explained the cavity treatment. 6) 4:42- 4:43PM: made the follow-up schedule. 7) 4:45PM: Left the clinic with a big smile :) Actions Speak Much Louder Than Words! The staff is extremely nice and the process from making appointments, getting service, and scheduling next appointment is also very smooth and well organized. I have severe nighttime grinding issues and often wake up with pain in my jaw and a headache. Last time, Dr. Wang meticulously examined my mouth, learned about my symptoms, and finally took digital oral impressions so that my custom guard can be created seamlessly. Today, when I returned to the office for a fitting, the staff provided though instructions on how to care for my night guard to help it last for a long time. It was an incredibly smooth and pain-free dental visit and I am actually looking forward to my next visit:) *********************************************************** My Review on 7-12-2024: I recently had a fantastic experience at this dentist office. Starting with the front desk receptionists, they are so friendly and helpful to start. Within less than 5 minutes, I was led to an examination room, where I had X-rays done by staff who was gentle and attentive. Then ZHONG LIN walked in to clean my teeth. She provided thorough teeth cleaning and the teeth treatment. She checked in with me during cleaning to ensure I was comfortable. The cleaning service is the best cleaning I have ever received!! Finally, Dr. Wang's examination showcased wonderful bedside manners and booked my much-needed mouth guard right away. Overall, 10/10 would recommend for Dr. Chang’s top-notch dental team!

Fantastic experience: I like this place and have a good experience here. I don't have insurance. Few weeks ago, I found that there might be cavities in some tooth and decided to check. The price of this place is the lowest, only $65 including X ray. People were very nice. I planned to fill the cavities as I worried they would be worse. But the doctor didn't suggest me to do that but suggested me to use better toothpaste and be more careful. I appreciate their carness towards the patients.

With previously detailed consultation procedure, Dr. Chang performed dental implant with the use of PRF on my front tooth yesterday. Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I got a new crown. This time, the problem of gap and food stuffing after the dental implant was completely solved. I hope that the problem of gum pain can also be solved, and I can wait for a while to see the final outcome. Fantastic experience: My appointment was originally 2 weeks later and my wisdom teeth was hurting very bad, so I called them to see if there are any earlier appointments. Originally, they didn't have any time earlier, but they still called me back to squeeze a time for me the next day at 9AM. The experience was VERY good. Front Desk Receptionist was very nice, they care about the patients, and they give thorough instructions as a new patient. The dental assistants also explained what to do extremely well and they were efficient with time. The dentist gave in-depth analysis on suggestions with my wisdom tooth ache, and they also gave instructions to get my wisdom teeth out. Overall, I would recommend this dental place to other people because the staff takes good care for patients.

Fantastic experience: Great front desk staff. Went here for a cleaning in my first visit and for a preventative filling the second visit. I agree with another review that mentioned a very quick cleaning. The hygienist doing it was very gentle and finished in no time. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Doctor Huang did my filling and she did it ever so gently and skillfully. She’s transparent and answered the many questions I had which I have found can annoy many doctors.However, she answered them with patience and grace. She was quick to do her work and it seems to have been done well although I felt the general atmosphere to be a little rushed that day ( not sure if this is the norm). Nevertheless, she was professional and gentle which is what is most important. I would come back again. Thank you for your work and service.

Negative experience: My son was seen 2 weeks ago and I went with him to ask some questions.. but at first the dr that was going to fix the cavities looked like she didn’t want to answer my questions.. and then the front office I felt they were rushing me.. idk I will give them another try.. but for me to go in first time with my son to ask some questions didn’t get a good vibe.. let’s hope for next visit it’s better..

Fantastic experience: The EC Dental Group located in the Renaissance Tower in Flushing is one of the greatest dental offices I have been to. Very efficient and respectful behavior of the front desk staff regarding appointments and scheduling. For the actual dental check up, the dental hygienists were very specific and patient to each person’s time and told you accurate results of your dental situation. No scamming involved and wishes for the best of customers. Services that require payment are not ridiculously expensive and negotiation is open between patient and dental team. Overall, very nice dental group and is currently on the rise.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zhao is great. She treated me twice. With patient and very skilled hand. I didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever. both peocess went as smooth as butter. Excellent Dr. Zhao just treated me for the 3rd time. This time is to remove a wisdom teeth. The whole process went smoothly and quick. I didn't feel a thing. It was super efficient and professional.

I came in to get one tooth filled and she had my treatment plan up and filled two more. Took another look at a broken tooth I Have and put in a request for a crown. Very happy with her treatment
