Most places won’t help you out immediately like that, but the dentist had time and took her time. Staff was amazing. Dentist was amazing. Fantastic experience: Everyone is extremely personable when I come in for my visits. I’m new to Smiles for Life as of this year, and the staff has recalled I am newly married, have children, and always check in on my comfort level during my appts. They are extremely patient while handling insurance “issues” and most importantly, Sam, my hygienist, is phenomenal! She is funny, caring, educated, and quick with my cleanings.

From the front office staff to the knowledgeable dental assistants/hygienist, they put your anxiety to ease by knowing you are in great hands! Dr. Ofili, DMD Is so knowledgeable and detail oriented! Fantastic experience: I REALLY like Dr Ofili! She is always upbeat and attentive- she noticed I had TMJ and hand wrote a specialist I could see. She always takes her time and makes me feel heard. This was my first time with Margie the Hygienist. She explained a lot of the physiology of why my gums are receeding, and why scaling usually was painful. The numbing gel made the cleaning a breeze and she was careful not to scrape her tools across the sensitive areas. The desk girls had my paperwork ready and I knew exactly what insurance did and did not cover. They even ran my husband’s insurance on the fly to see what his coverages were. No wait, no pain, no surprises, no upselling. A+++

Fantastic experience: Smile for Life Dentistry has some of the nicest people! I may not like the procedures I need but I do like seeing my buds that I haven’t seen in a while. These people prayed for me when I found out I had cancer and kept up with me until my remission. I couldn’t ask for better people, seriously! They also have their own line of credit, which is very helpful for people like me who ended up needing a lot of work done.

I also got invisiligns and it was such an amazing experience. My children had invisiligns through an orthodontists office and my experience at Smile for Life was such a better experience. Fantastic experience: My daughter recommended Dr. “O” and Smiles For Life to me about three years ago. I have never felt more welcome or taken care of in any dentist office I’ve ever been in, and I am 67 years old! Samantha, my hygienist is wonderful and Dr. O is wonderful! They fixed my periodontal problems for a fraction of what other periodontist have charged me over the years, and those “dentists” never fixed the problem, Only kept me coming back and taking my money!

Fantastic experience: I found them because I wanted sedation. Im a product of old dentistry from the 1970's and my anxiety is through the roof! I have been able to move away from sedation because of the kindness and understanding of the staff and provider. They dont make me feel bad for being anxious. She takes great care to ensure I am numb and comfortable. I would highly recommend for any age or anxiety level.

Positive experience: Made an appointment for new patient. Waited 2 months to get in. Went to appointment and they didn't have me down. Now have to wait 3 more weeks.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem, called the office to see what I should do. The person that answered the phone was very helpful. She spoke with Dr. Ofilly, and she said come in. I was happy to here this! Now, I know the problem and she wrote a prescription. As I have said before everyone in the office is friendly and very professional. Negative experience: Our experience was totally unresponsive to our requests despite several attempts to clarify. I felt i was at a shyster used car lot. This is due to oxymoron structure of support staff.

Positive experience: Staff is amazing and so kind. I’ve never had an initial exam with X-rays where I was told it’d be $90 plus after insurance. If I wanted mouth exam for CA, it is another $40!! Dr. Is kind but.says almost every tooth, even those with caps and root canals, needs work. This would run in the thousands!! I’ve been to dentist at least every 6 months and was never told this. I’m just not willing to do all this.

Leaving with a positive opinion even after getting a root canal! After moving here I finally found a dentist I feel I can trust and actually like. Will definitely be taking the family for all our dental needs!

Negative experience: Dr English is not an honest Dentist. He continually pushes for treatment that is expensive, not covered by insurance and unnecessary. Multiple times he pushed my family members and I into getting crowns out on teeth that upon getting a second opinion on, was ruled completely unnecessary. He falsely diagnosed cavities as well. With everyone I know personally who has been in his office and then received a second opinion none had the cavities he diagnosed. He charged my wife for services that he did not perform. His office also billed me for services that did not occur as well as double bill for services that were performed. This has not been a one time offense. I would recommend everyone in his office go get a second opinion. Everything they preach is about “prevention” and they are very forward acknowledging that the recommendations provided are expensive and they are more than willing to schedule far out in the future so it can seem more affordable. This is how they rope people into paying for expensive unnecessary procedures and treatment. They also leave patients who speak English as a second language confused and without explanations for decisions made in their behalf without their consent. I’m incredibly disappointed with this office and I only wish to warn people about the dishonesty they will likely encounter in this office. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Fantastic experience: I would like to update my review. My last review was for the previous DDS that was at this location. A new DMD is now there, Dr. Olifi. The office was quick to fit me in when I was having an emergency (fractured tooth & a lot of pain). My insurance covers them well enough but the price I was quoted for dentures was way over the average I discovered calling other practices. I know a manager of a dental lab and he told me it costs him about $50.00 to make a full set. I don't know what they charge the providers but it seemed that the $1900.00 was a bit high for a first set after extractions. Then in a year, I have to get a new "permanent" set; also, quite expensive. Dr. Olifi's skills are great and the staff is amazing ⁉️ They treat me like family and as a patient with special needs, they are so helpful and attentive to those needs even though I didn't have to ask for anything. LeAnn (assistant) remembered that I needed a bit extra and had everything I needed ready before I asked. My stars remain the same but I think they could work with me more on the pricing issues. I saw my last dentist for 40-ish years but, sadly, he has now retired. I'm on chemo and was told not to have dental work done. As things do happen, it was taken out of my hands when one abscessed. I was put on antibiotics and told to get the tooth pulled asap. SFL was the only place that could get me in this year. I'm so glad it happened this way. I couldn't have found a better place if I'd had a month to do it. The staff was smiling and warm to me and each other. I could tell they were happy to be there and enjoyed what they do and each other. I'm not a nervous dental patient but I could see how if I was, they would put me at ease right away. Sandy greeted me as I walked in with a warm and friendly smile and voice. LeAnn (forgive if I spelled it wrong) was the assistant to Dr. Johnson, who was the DDS that took care of me. LeAnn listened and talked with me like a friend even though we'd never met. They both told me everything that was about to happen. No surprises. LeAnn was warm and kind. Though I loved my last dentist, I'm so happy I found a new dental home. Dr. Johnson was so kind and very informative. Heather checked me out after treatment. She, too, was sweet and again, I could tell she also loved what she did. She was so helpful because my ins. wouldn't cover the exam so she charged me private pay discount. She didn't have to and I wasn't expecting it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Fantastic experience: We had to switch dentist due to an insurance change. We couldn't be happier with Smile For Life. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and we are happy to have found the practice.

Negative experience: Money mongering, mouth damaging, up charging failures. Required surgery to repair every filling they did oldest filling was 3 months. I spent upwards of $ 9000 on images and pain and damaged roots and had 3 teeth yanked, resulting in jaw damage. Not to mention thousands on surgery to fix their mistakes. Stay away and save your money go else where it will be you best option. I have had more pain and upcharges than any other location, and they care more about money than care. heed my advice: don't make yourself suffer for work that doesn't need to be done that they will recommend just to make extra money. Stay away, save your money, and save yourself from pain and unnecessary suffering and ridiculously money mongering services.

Negative experience: Was there for a dental cleaning. No cleaning was done and up sell was what it was all about. The doctor was too busy to talk about a basic cleaning. Run away unless you want to pay for the extras.

If I would have to say one thing and maybe it's because I have had my teeth clean by my old hygienist for so long is I felt like she cleaned my teeth pretty quickly were my other one took longer and really made sure all plaque was non existed because I have some periodontal problems. Even with that said I really liked her and maybe being a new patient have to get to know my mouth I recommend them highly. Dr. Ofili is awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice from time i walked in door but disappointed nobody said anything to me about Dr. Johnson. I thought that is who I made my appt with but he was nowhere to be found. The service was wonderful though but i missed Dr Johnson.

Negative experience: I paid well over $300 for a gum treatment they said I needed. Then I received another bill because they miscalculated the my share. I called to pay and schedule a cleaning on July 25, 2024 and they gave me a date to clean my teeth of March 17, 2025. That’s totally ridiculous! Especially for an established patient.

Negative experience: Good for cleanings. Takes 1-3 mos to get appt. Had abscess- only appt was over a mo away. No longer do anything invasive, barely want to pull a tooth. Had to go elsewhere to have abscess dealt w/. Told them I couldn't sched appts b4 11-12n, cause I wk 12 hr night shifts an hr away, never home b4 10a. Tried to have perm crown placed-only 2 appts were 830a, 930a. Exact times I can't come. They didn't care! Had to take off wk hr early to make appt. It means I'd been up from 4p day before, till near noon next day!! Either hire more dentists, stop taking new pts, or I'm finding a new DDS!

Positive experience: Love the staff and facility, but within the last year it has been impossible to get a timely appointment and they have consistently canceled or moved my appointments. My 4 month appointment got canceled the week before and they can't see me for another 7 months now. My son can't get in for his 6 month cleaning until 8 months from now. Love them, but seriously considering changing dentists if they can't accommodate basic cleaning schedules for their established patients.

Fantastic experience: All staff warm and welcoming which instills confidence in the level of consciousness and functioning of the whole TX Team. Referring endodontist requested ASAP crowning of root canal. Pt was accepted, evaluated and treated within 3 working days. Temporary crown came off next morning and patient was given apt. the next day. He appreciates the skilled, kind and affirming treatment.

Fantastic experience: A great hygienist is a necessity at any dental establishment. Ms. Bone is top notch, actually one of the best! She made me very comfortable and explained everything in detail which is important to me. This dental office offers nitric oxide to relieve those with dental anxiety and I understand many dentists no longer make this necessary aid available. I can't compliment Smile For Life enough!

Fantastic experience: I Love going to Smile For Life they are very friendly and do a really good job of helping you relax for your appointment. I’ve used Nitrous Oxide at times when I’ve had substantial procedures done and it really helps make the visit less anxiety causing. They have always been willing to use it even for cleanings if that was what I wanted. I’m doing much better now and seldom need it anymore. Dr Ofili is wonderful and so are all the staff

Negative experience: Cara - Terrible experience on porcelain crowns. I finally decided to spend money on myself, as my smile was bad. I have been hiding my mouth, cant smile for over a year. They did a terrible job, as Dr Ofili made a bridge of a different material that was a stark, bleach white color, and didnt even match the rest of my crowns that were all purchased and made together. She became very irate, and started telling me that my teeth were so decayed and rotten, and that i was lucky she did anything with them. She even crowned one tooth that fell out two weeks later. Just that one tooth was $1,000.00. She said they would refund me, so i could have redone, and Dr Ofili wont even return a call. Going to cost 15k to fix their 10k job. Awful service. Doesnt stand behind her work. Didnt even want to give 1 star, but wouldnt take 0

Fantastic experience: Always super friendly, personable, and professional. I even paid out of pocket, when I didn't have insurance, in the past, just to go here! My last visit was (this week) quick and painless. In and out in a half hour!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr.O'fili's for over 20 years. The team always greats you with a warm smile of sincerity. When my children were little they actually looked forward to seeing the dentist. I still do too!

Positive experience: I have had my dental done there for years and their staff, doctors, and hygienists have all been good. I got a call concerning an upcoming appointment and the person was rude and decided it was OK to just add services/charges that I never requested and blamed me for interrupting. A total up-sell attempt which is something I do not appreciate. And yeah, I will interrupt you for it. Although there dental service is great, I will not be going back there due to poor customer service.
