Fantastic experience: Where do I even start?! Like many of you, I loathe going to the dentist. I found a dentist previously that worked with me and was considerate with my anxiety and then my insurance dropped them! TEN YEARS later, I finally womaned-up and made an appointment at Ridge Pike Dental Care. Let me tell you! I walked out of there in a way better mood then I went in. Right? I must be lying! How does that happen?! It happened because my girl Kelly was a rockstar from the second I walked into that dental room until I walked out the door! She was so quick with the whole process and so incredibly kind and gentle. She is too dang cute too you just want to put her in your pocket! Dr. Rousseau was super kind and fabulous as well. I can't recommend this duo enough. I have zero qualms about going back for my 6 month checkup. Thank you ladies!!

Negative experience: The tech and the hygienist were great. I was lied to about my insurance not covering my night guard now I’m fighting to get my money back. The insurance will cover 80%. The office never submitted a claim and when called about it they hung up on us. This has been resolved. The night guard was cover and I’ve been reimbursed.

Fantastic experience: Ridge Pike Dental are not Friendly and professional, but are very aware of people’s discomfort with dentists and do everything possible to make their patients comfortable and explain everything step by step.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Ridge Pike Dental for the last couple of years. Have always had wonderful interaction with the staff, technicians and doctors. Today, I had to come in to correct a chipped tooth. Julia was amazing! Already was happy with all my interactions, but she really was wonderful. Her attention to detail, communication and skills were unmatched. Dr Rousseau was equally a pleasure to engage with! Thank you both for your attention to detail, and for having some laughs with me too.

Fantastic experience: Kelley is the most talented dental hygienist I have ever worked with. Knowledgeable and professional. Really has a gift for how precise she cleans your teeth, I always feel so refreshed and healthy after my visits. Coming from someone who has had extreme dental work done since very young. I have found a place where I will always go back to and look forward to it. Dr. Gruk is upfront and will let you know what is going on and best method to approach. Wait times are not a problem. before I even sit down in the waiting room I’m getting called to go into the actual chair. Great job team! Thank you!

Negative experience: The dental hygienist seemed rushed. I was hoping to get more information about services that day. But I didn't want to slow the process. Right now I have a large gap and didn't get any clear information about what happens at the next appointment. The process isn't what I hoped it would be.

Negative experience: I had been going to this office and always really liked my hygienist, she was friendly, gentle, and made cleanings a great experience. However, I started to feel uneasy after new issues kept coming up at every appointment; everything from cavities and gingivitis to a recommendation for a root canal. Because I’ve always had healthy teeth and hadn’t experienced these problems before, I decided to get a second opinion. I’m glad I did, as the other dentist didn’t find the same concerns. I still appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the hygienist, but I’d encourage anyone who feels unsure to trust their instincts and seek a second opinion before moving forward with major treatments.

Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10 SEAMLESS experience. Everyone was so nice, I was out of there within an hour. Today was my first appointment here. I got kicked out of my pediatric dentist because I graduated college so this is my first adult dentist appointment. I had a filling that needed to be fixed and they even offered to do it today. I thought that was really awesome because usually you have to book a new appointment. I ended up booking a new appointment anyway, but I thought it was really awesome that they offered it day-of. Fantastic experience: As someone with a sort of phobia/anxiety about the dentist after years of trouble with other dentists/orthodontists, I was pleasantly surprised at having a mostly stress free first visit. My tech listened to me and advocated for me. The doctor was kind and created a care plan tailored to my needs and requests while making sure to communicate what needed to be done and what could be done per my concerns. So far the best visit I've had at a dental office to date.

Fantastic experience: I usually hate the dentist and never have a good experience. I just moved back to the area and scheduled an appointment. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My hygienist was amazing and Dr. Kristen. Very friendly , caring , and welcoming. They have cool technology I’ve never seen before and explained everything. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Ridge Pike Dental as I had new insurance and needed to change providers. I was extremely happy with my entire experience. I was greeted immediately at the front desk and everyone was friendly throughout the process. Everything was explained thoroughly and anything that may have cost extra, was explained clearly, costs were given and options to decline were given and accepted. There were no up-sale pressures. The hygienist did a great job and the doctor I saw was great as well. He explained everything and gave me a few things to watch for and work on for my next visit. Overall, a very satisfied customer!

Fantastic experience: 1st time pt. Exceeded my expectations. Best cleaning I’ve had in years by Alycia! Thorough exam by Dr. Kristyn. They even were able to repair my chipped bonding at my visit and did a fabulous job. Apologies for not knowing name of licensed bonding tech but kudos to her. Staff were able to quote me out of pocket cost after insurance pays for the bonding immediately upon my request. This is a well run facility filled with trained staff to give you a very pleasant experience. I will definitely return!

Negative experience: I used to rave about this place and refer people there - but not anymore. Had a root canal done in February 2020, and temporary crown. Then covid hit and I couldn't get my permanent crown. Then in May 2020, I cracked a different tooth (a baby molar, I was born with 4 molars that didn't have the adult teeth come in). I was in a lot of pain and called to see if I could be seen to have it extracted and was told no because it wasn't an emergency (they tried to tell me it was a dead tooth so no infection so no pain) - went somewhere else and they removed it easily and sure enough - there was an infection. Cut to March 2021 - the root canal tooth is abscessed, extreme pain, they do another root canal. Cut to April 2025, same tooth once again infected and abscessed and in extreme pain - call on a weekend, leave a message on emergency voicemail - they never once called me back. I have since seen an endodontist for retreatment and am seeing a new dentist tomorrow - I will never go back there.

Negative experience: So I would like to premise this review with an acknowledgement that Ridge Pike Dental Care is hardly responsible for the state of healthcare in this country... I have used Ridge Pike Dental Care for over a year now. Up until now, service / billing / appointments were all top notch. The issue arose this calendar year when I needed to acquire Dental Insurance. The website shows all major insurances so I signed up with IBX. I called to supply them with my information and they quickly informed me that IBX is out of network. IBX told me they were in network as their system takes months to be updated. A 2 hour call later with IBX to cancel the policy , I ask them where to acquire dental insurance that is in network. The list they supplied included PPO plans from Aetna, Guardian, Metlife, and Concordia and I will save everyone time. If you are looking for single payer dental plans there are not many options. Do not bother calling Metlife or Concordia. They only offer group plans. When a doctor's website encourages patients to let them help with securing insurance I would hope for the website to be correct, the help be clear, and the staff to have expertise in this matter. Oh, and answer the phone instead of voicemail. I am moving on.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing time here! I met with Amanda, Julia, and Dr. Singh. They were all so knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. I learned everything I needed to know about the appointment, the reasons behind the procedures, and what my treatment plan would be. I felt very well-informed and comfortable the whole time. Was nervous coming to a new dentist after my previous dentist no longer accepted my insurance (I was going there since I was a kid), but I couldn’t be happier with Ridge Pike Dental. Fantastic experience: No one wants to go to the dentist, thats me included. I haven't been to a dentist in over 5 years. Needless to say I was terrified. I had my first appointment yesterday and everyone from the front desk personnel to the hygenist and Dr. were very friendly, kind, knowledgeable and non judgemental. I was able to have a full set of xrays and scans and a medium cleaning all at my first visit! A woman from billing came in with a piece of paper that listed all the recommended next steps in my treatment and all the prices clearly listed. I am now excited to begin my healthy smile journey. Positive experience: The place was clean and well-equipped. The treatment team was nice. However, a lady at the front desk was rude and mean on the phone when I had questions regarding my bills.

Even in a very tough pandemic time, they provided great service and support by thoroughly explaining and making me very comfortable with the entire process. Shana was an amazing hygienist!
