Can you imagine looking forward to going to the dentist because you know your smile will be bigger and better when you leave? Can you imagine the above while going to the dentist? Well...if you can't imagine it, you're going to the wrong dentist!! You need to have your dental cleanings and procedures done by the very professional and friendly doctors and staff at Cottleville Smiles All you need to know about Cottleville Smiles is: The entire staff is amazing and the care they provide for their patients is beyond incredible!!! If you want to know more...here you go: I drive 60 miles (an hour and 10 minutes) to Cottleville Smiles for them to work on my "smile." As long as I can make the trip, I will continue to do so. First of all, my hygenist is the best. She is very professional and very entertaining. Dr. Tanner Brown is also very professional. He explains everything explicitly and is not pushy at all. Very kind and very knowledgeable. The staff is awesome, very friendly, and very helpful. I trust that my "smile" is well cared for at Cottleville Smiles. Thanks again for your great work!! :)

Fantastic experience: My son had chipped some teeth during practice. I called first thing the next morning and they got him in the very same day. I was so impressed with the whole team. Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in years, but this was a fantastic experience! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. My hygienist, Abby, and Dr. Tanner made me feel totally at ease the whole time.

Fantastic experience: Just got a crown slapped on my cracked tooth, and it’s flawless—fits like it grew there, looks like a million bucks, and I didn’t feel a thing. Dr. Tanner is a wizard with the drill. But the real MVP moment? I tried to sneak a quick “after” selfie with my new pearly white… and BAM—Dr. Tanner photobombed me like a dental ninja! (See attached evidence.) I’m over here half-numb, mouth full of stuff, and he’s grinning like we just won the Super Bowl. Zero pain, perfect crown, and now I’ve got the funniest dentist pic on the internet. 10/10, would let him crash my selfie again.

Negative experience: Right before the dentist started working on me he told me if anything went wrong with what the dentist was working on me the rest of the work would have to be out of pocket expense. Next thing you know I'm having problems I didn't have before.

I ended up having to get a tooth extraction done and they were so amazing and did it very fast with minimal pain. Their establishment is very clean! If you don't like going to the dentist please do yourself a favor and call these guys up and set an appointment. I recently moved to town and was looking for a new dentist. I was referred by my friend Rachel who works at Cottleville Smiles. She had nothing but great things to say about her job and coworkers. So I checked it out! When I went for my appointments I had Lindsay and my friend Rachel greeting me with big smiles! They had fabulous conversations with me and made my appointments go very smooth and enjoyable. They were very sweet and full of great information. Definitely the place to go! Fantastic experience: My wife & I have been patients going on four years now. Dr. Tanner & his staff are extremely out going & friendly. They make your visit to their dentist very pleasant. I just had a crown replaced and within 2 hours it was completed by Dr. Beau. They make their own crowns with the latest technology, no 2nd visits to get fitted, one visit and it's done. I'm a disabled veteran and could get free dental care through my VA healthcare. But I choose Cottleville Smiles because the Dentists are very good and the staff is friendly and realizes everyone has dental issues.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Rachel and the Dentists at Cottleville Smiles for a few months now. I came in with bad pain in a tooth. It needed a root canal unfortunately, but they were able to get me seen and referred to a specialist same day. I have gone back for other issues since and the staff and everyone there are amazing! Fantastic experience: I went to cottleville smiles to get a crown checked that had been causing me pain from another dentist years prior. They were all so friendly from the moment I walked in. Negative experience: Cottleville Smiles might look like the dentist office of your dreams with their fresh new paint job and Pinterest-inspired lobby, but underneath the surface, it’s the same old scammy dental office you thought you left behind. My wife went in for an appointment and paid a hefty copay upfront — supposedly the “final” amount after insurance. Nearly two months later, guess who comes crawling back with their hand out? That’s right. Now they claim insurance didn’t cover what they said it would, so they want more money. Here’s the thing: if insurance didn’t pay what you told us they would, that’s your mess to clean up. You’re the ones dealing with the insurance company — not us. But of course, in classic shady dentist fashion, it’s easier to pass the bill to the patient and act like your hands are tied. I’ve seen better honesty at used car dealerships. The only reason I’m writing this is to warn you — if you think Cottleville Smiles is different from the last shady dentist you swore you’d never go back to, you’re in for a rude awakening. All they did was slap on a fresh coat of paint, hang a few trendy signs, and keep the same old bait-and-switch billing tactics. Follow up: Thanks for the response, but let’s be honest — it’s more of the same. You say the copay was based on an estimate, but that "estimate" was presented to us as the final amount owed. There was no clear disclaimer, no heads-up that “this might not be the full cost.” If your front desk said something vague about insurance not guaranteeing coverage, it wasn’t emphasized — because if it had been, we wouldn’t be surprised to get a bill two months later. More importantly, if you were genuinely “willing to help,” you would have tried to help. Instead, when I called, I was met with someone reading policy language off a script — no attempt to understand, no attempt to resolve, just rinse and repeat: “this is how it works.” If you wanted to have a real conversation, that was your moment. Instead, I got a wall of canned answers. And let’s not pretend this is just “industry standard” — the standard may be broken, but that doesn't make it right. If your office wants to rise above the shady tactics people have come to expect from dental billing, it starts with owning mistakes and working with patients when insurance doesn’t follow through, not just handing them the bill and retreating behind policies. Your office may look new and modern, but the playbook is outdated — and people deserve to know that before they walk through the door.

Fantastic experience: Made me feel comfortable and didn’t use any of the medieval torture devices the Air Force used on me 20 years ago. Thanks doc. I will be going back. Willingly. I’m not even being paid to tell you any of this. My wife also signed my kids up to go see them. I will update if anything changes, but so far so good. Edit: just wanted to let you all this place didn’t push any weird or unnecessary treatment on me. Basically the Dr. said this is where you are at and this is the list of things we need to do and after that it’s what you want to do. Super awesome way to approach it. Most of the time dental offices feel to much like a jiffy line wanting to charge me 50 bucks for an air filter that sells for 9.99 on Amazon. Not here. Zero push very laid back.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. I broke a tooth and called CS for an appointment. They got me in the same day. I was examined and told I would need a crown, which was what I expected. What I didn't expect was that they could do the whole procedure that day. The complete procedure was done in less than two hours. Using new Technology, they were able to prepare the tooth, make the new crown, and install it on my tooth in the two hour span. The procedure was completely painless and the staff was very professional and very friendly. I even was allowed to watch the machine make the crown, a procedure that took around four minutes. New Technology is marvelous.I would highly recommend CS for a painless, efficient, helpful and friendly experience.

Fantastic experience: I went to Cottleville Smiles today to have an old crown replaced. It was supposed to take 2 hours, but it only took an hour and a half. My tech, Lacy, was wonderful, and so was the dentist. My crown was made in the office and it fits perfectly.
