Negative experience: This has been our clinic since we moved from Minnesota. I brought my husband and son here so we could all be seen at the same clinic, by the same hygienist and the same doctor. Dr. Hanson usually saw us before he retired, and we truly liked him, as well as our hygienist. This week, my husband cracked his tooth and was in severe pain. He called the clinic for an emergency appointment and was scheduled for the next day. When he came in, he waited until 1:00 PM to be seen by the doctor, and during that appointment, nothing was done to help him. He was then scheduled for another appointment the following week. When my husband returned the next week, the doctor told him that he could not help and that he needed to be referred to another doctor. My husband was upset, frustrated, and still in pain. He had difficulty eating because of the pain, and being referred meant waiting yet another week for care. During that visit, the doctor told my husband, “Do not treat my staff like that. You don’t have to come in, and do not come back.” The way the doctor spoke to my husband was unprofessional and not reflective of patient-centered care. I am forwarding this message to Dr. Hanson because this is not how a doctor should speak to a patient, especially one who is in pain and seeking help. So, if you have emergency, the same scenario of my husband, then this clinic is not for you, find a clinic that treat you like they cared.

Negative experience: Seekers of trustworthy dental service beware. Unless you're willing to be blind-sided by unexpected costs and a poor bed side manner, I'd suggest seeking elsewhere for your dental services. Almost a thousand dollars wasted today, when all I wanted was help. To clarify almost a thousand dollars does mean under a thousand dollars. This cost includes the amount of money they took from my insurance policy and the out-of-pocket cost that I had to pay. Regardless of what the owner states in their feedback there was no communicate for the costs. My insurance provider did state coverage; this is the ONLY reason I attempted to give this new provider a shot. The services provided didn't even provide any value as the file of images were not even able to be viewed by any other dental professional. This place is a rip off.

My hygenist Danica was friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, and was gentle in the way she cleaned my teeth. Dr. Wisseman answered all my concerns with great poise. I really appreciated that they did not push any unnecessary products/services at any point of the process. That was my main complaint with my previous Dental team at Aspen dental. Fantastic experience: Going to a dental office isn't exactly on my bucket list. I have to tell you I had a pleasant surprise how well they treated me. Everyone from the clerical to the doctor were top shelf. What I appreciated was their professionalism and being up front with their estimates. 9/2/25: I just came back today on my follow up visit with Danica one the hygienest. She put me at ease and was about as pain free I could ask for in the chair! Great staff.

Fantastic experience: To start with, the front desk personnel were attentive and helpful, then the hygienist was friendly, making eye contact when talking to me, helping this nervous to go to the dentist patient, relax a little, as she explained the appointment agenda in detail.The doctor was calming and explained every step of the exam, including sounds and extra stimuli I might encounter. The doctor then took the time to explain her findings and the treatment she suggested, while not being pushy or rushed, which I really appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience of my life. Haven't been to the dentist in years due to previous negative experiences. This place has placated all of those fears in one visit. I wish i could remember my hygienist's name. She was absolutely wonderful and gave me great advice! 10/10 will come here again! Update: Just took my 2yo for her first ever cleaning. They were AMAZING! They worked with her and showed her all the tools they were using in a fun and engaging way! She had such a positive experience and she loved it! 20/10! Will always come back again!

Negative experience: Not a pleasant experience. Dentist like to suggest extra services that patients need to pay extra for. If you refuse their suggestions, they will refuse service to you. You either accept everything or you get nothing. Edit: of course the dentist would say I am rude to lose the credibility of my review. For everyone who see the review, you all can make your own judgement to see who is indeed the person that is rude & abusive.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment here and my first appointment in 2 years actually. I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes early since I had already done all the paperwork online (it was really easy to fill out and navigate) and they took me in right on time. I did not have to wait past my appointment time which is nice. I had my x-rays done and then Dr Angel checked my teeth and everything was good with 0 cavities! I then had my teeth cleaned with Ashley and overall it was a good experience. Everyone was kind and professional. The lady that took my x-rays (I’m not sure how to spell her name but it sounded like Tahni) was very kind and took the time to get to know me and everyone made me feel like they wanted to take care of me. Overall the appointment lasted less than an hour so they were very quick! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the Oregon Smile Care Center for all my dental needs for several years now. They provide excellent, reliable and friendly service in helping assure my oral health is always top notch! I would not hesitate to recommend their services to meet all of your family's dental health needs! Danika is an awesome dental hygienist and Dr Angel Cardenas has performed a couple of molar extractions and an implant for me in the last few months. The extractions were accomplished very expertly with little pain; as was the implant. The implant process went seamlessly; Dr Cardenas is a miracle worker! I whole heartedly recommend him for your dental care and oral surgery needs!

Fantastic experience: I had a great dental hygiene appointment with Becca. She was professional, kind and had excellent bedside manners.

Negative experience: I just called them to ask if they provide a dental service called microabrasion. The gal who answered Maria or Miriam it was said I haven’t heard of that. Then silence…. I was waiting for her to say let me check if we offer that procedure and nothing. She said would you like to schedule an appointment with the dr to check. Why would I schedule an appointment and pay an office visit for a service if I don’t even know if you offer the service I want. She said well you’d be charged an office visit. I said is there any way you can go ask if you offer this service and she acted like I was a burden! I definitely just hung up after that, no thanks!

Fantastic experience: First time back in a dentist's office after more years than I'd like to admit. I was welcomed warmly. I was never made to feel guilty or ashamed for going so long without attention. The Dr. was patient and answered all my questions, and put me at ease with the basic treatment plan. Before I left I was given an outline of that treatment plan, along with expected costs and when my deductible would be used up by. This transparency is so helpful for planning. I'm feeling great about my decision to go with them for my long overdo dental needs.

Fantastic experience: First time coming to this clinic, due to a missing filling and the need to establish dental care. It’d been awhile since I’d been to the dentist due to relocating up and down the valley, but they never made me feel as guilty as I did for neglecting my dental care. It was obvious from the first minute I arrived that they knew what they were doing- Ashley was fantastic at explaining what she was looking for and what she saw, and Dr. Wisseman was so gracious and thoughtful, keeping budget options in mind as well as what is necessary for complete oral health. I felt very, very comfortable in this environment. I never once just felt like another faceless patient with a goldmine for a mouth. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The people at Oregon Smile Care Center are exceptionally skilled and pleasant, and the facility well designed and run. But it's a shame that this country has private insurance. Positive experience: Oregon Smile has been difficult with scheduling and I regularly feel frustrated with the availability I'm offered for treatments. They've scheduled me weeks past the needed date multiple times. I would recommend a different dentist that has more availability. I've been very frustrated with the lack of priority I've felt around my treatment for the amount of money they charge for the service. For reference, I am specifically talking about Invisalign treatment. The staff is kind once your in, it's just frustrating and difficult to get timely treatment if you ever need to reschedule an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had one visit for which I was extremely anxious, not because I don’t like the dentist but because I had really horrible restorative work done at Aspen dental in Keizer. I’m happy to say that the dentist I say today fully understood my concerns and goals for my dental health and has laid out a plan that makes sense. I’m optimistic that my treatment moving forward will go well and I have confidence in my Doctor!! The staff I interacted with were very kind and well informed. Pricing is reasonable, the office is clean and modern. If you choose this office for your dental care you’ll have to pull hard on the front door to get in and make sure you try one of their sugar free lollies on the way out ( I like the grape)! Ps. Always kinda skeptical when trying to find the right dentist, but Julie was very helpful, informative & gentile with my cleaning. With that hesitation of not going as much as I should have in my past, came the need (and personal want) to get an upper large portion of my upper teeth crowned (8). I am a smiler, and I was at a place of feeling embarrassed and almost ashamed of my older cracked, lil chipped teeth. Going into my first appointment there were no comments of negativity, only positive of what could be done. Dr Wisseman I hold in high regard. She has been (and is) so skilled, kind, gentle, and caring along my journey. Tawny, the dental assistant, has been just awesome Front office staff I can only speak highly of. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Hanson and Danica for years now. I had severe overcrowding, and various cavities. The first time I met Dr. he said "Don't worry, we'll get your smile fixed up!" Over the course of several years, they started taking care of me and referred me to Dr. Eyre, a local oral surgeon to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. After that, Dr. Hanson and the team administered my Invisalign treatment and at the end I got 4 crowns on the front. The difference is crazy! My smile is free now! I used to be so self conscious and it's all gone. I am so grateful for the whole team there! They brought on Dr. Angel, and Dr. Hanson recently retired. I am very pleased with Dr. Angel so far, and look forward to having him regarding anything my smile may need! Thank you so much, Team!
